Are you dissatisfied? That can't be God's will, for he loves his children and creation. His love has done everything so that we might become happy and satisfied.

Contentment Through Giving Up Selfish Demands

God is showing you a way which is guaranteed to bring satisfaction so that you can't help but sing along. First of all God asks you, why are you discontented? Perhaps you know the saying, the more you have the more you want.

It's true, the more a person wishes to have for himself, the less content he becomes. But the more he gives up for God in the way of time, energy, love, honor and rights, the more content and happy he'll become.

Jesus Calls His Followers to Lose Their Life

That is the way Jesus is calling us to go. In Matthew 10 verse 39 he tells us, He who loses his life for my sake will find it. In other words, when you begin to give up things instead of making demands upon God and people, you will experience what loving intentions God has for your life.

Joy After Surrender

Then your discontentedness will vanish and you'll be filled with joy and happiness.
