I note that he gets us commercial, and a lot of people don't get it. We're going to be talking more about this because I note a lot of obvious stuff on my channel.
00:07
But when the great deceiver comes slithering by in the form of a commercial that weaponizes compassion to push an ungodly political agenda and to subtly compel
00:16
Christians to forsake their convictions for the sake of love, we gotta talk about it. And I get that it's easy for a population of Christians who never publicly proclaim the gospel to the lost, who have never been personally hated for Christ's sake, to get on board with a commercial they think is just telling them to love and serve more.
00:33
People immediately came under the spell of the error contained in this commercial by doing exactly what it does, ripping footwashing out of its context and making it to mean the opposite of hate.
00:44
So now footwashing equals love, undefined and in any context, which is why I got comments that literally said, so you don't think we should love people?
00:52
And what people under this spell don't understand is that according to the organization, the opposite of hate, a .k

.a. footwashing, a .k .a. love, means the inclusion of those who Jesus himself excludes from the kingdom.

Not only do they admit that their work is influenced by people who do not believe Jesus is the son of God, but on their website they very plainly lament that, quote, those who represent
01:14
Jesus have made people in the LGBTQ plus community feel judged and excluded. He gets us to believe that the
01:20
LGBT community should be affirmed rather than judged or really called to repentance and included in the
01:26
Christian community. They explicitly say on their site that this commercial was made with the upcoming election year in mind.
01:32
They want to promote unity by showing images of people who are classed as hegemonic through the lens of intersectionality, washing the feet of the oppressed and marginalized while at the same time conditioning viewers to lay blame at the church's feet and promoting compromise in the name of unity.
01:48
And too many Christians with Hobby Lobby theology can't see the deception staring them right in the face.
01:53
Therefore, tomorrow, David Lovey and I will be recording the pilot episode of the Holy Note podcast and we'll be talking more about He Gets Us.
02:02
It should be out in the next few days and you'll be able to find it on YouTube and other platforms that podcasts are usually on.
02:08
Now, spoiler alert, contrary to what is perhaps popular opinion in the comment section, we do actually believe
