It's Your Behavior! — Robert B. Thompson

Lord, as we come unto you tonight, it is with great praise and thanksgiving, Lord, we thank you for your blessings, for there are many, many, many, many, and we thank you for each and every one of them, Lord, thank you for health and strength, protection on the highway.

Thank you, Lord, and I do pray for each one here who has burdens, Lord, I pray you will hear and answer prayer, cause their enemies to fall before them, and Lord, every prayer answered, we just look to you, Lord, praise your name, we pray, Lord, that you will guide us tonight in what we say, what is heard and perceived, that your will may be done, Lord, we ask in Jesus' name, amen.

Well, China hit us on the internet today, China, mainland China, we've had it quite a bit from Hong Kong, but that's the first from mainland China, yeah, it says that maybe the head of the Communist Party is checking us out, well, as I'm standing here, it came up, what is it, Brian, we've got, what, 44 nations so far, 46 nations, and China was added today, well, good for them, good for them, still waiting for Russia, we've had Belarus, I think we had Ukraine once at the beginning, I'm not positive of that though, but Brian would know, and we're up now to 250 on our subscriptions, is that right, Brian, 250?

250 on the subscriptions? 252. So, I wish everyone that hit that would include their picture and their address, where they live, we have no clue, just the country, just the country, but it's so interesting to think of it, yep, it's becoming a fascination to me just to see that and go, China, God bless them, and we're still waiting for Russia, we've hit most of the big nations, I think, but we're, not Russia, okay, for those in Tape Land, we're in week 8, 2nd of December, 97, tape 4042, call to be holy is the name of the tape, recommended reading holiness unto the Lord, that's an excerpt from the tabernacle of the congregation, Justice Larry?

Imputed Righteousness and Righteous Conduct

To give you the time through the grace of God to be able to actually become righteous in your actions. Absolutely, it's to give you a leg up, it's to get you going. What have we done with the doctrine of imputed righteousness?

It's the whole thing, there's no other kind of righteousness, Jesus came to forgive our sins, to take us to heaven, that's it, period, and that misses the whole boat, that misses the whole boat. Is most of the New Testament about imputed righteousness or actual righteousness of behavior?

Most of the New Testament? Absolutely. Oh, by far, there's only a few verses on imputed righteousness, but you've got book after book, like the first John, the whole book, he says these things I write unto you that you sin not.

Now that's a major misunderstanding in our day, about that imputed righteousness, God sees us only through Christ and we're forgiven and we're on our way to heaven, and that is not, that's another gospel, it's not the true gospel of the kingdom.

Yes? I did a word search on the word righteousness just in the New Testament, and there were 91 scripture references, and none of them referred to imputed. It's probably next to the person of Christ, it's probably the most references to it in the whole Bible, of any subject, except for Christ himself, the most referred to subject in the Old Testament and the New, is righteousness.

I have called you in righteousness, God will not work any other way. Now somebody give me an example of righteous behavior, the truth. Look at our nation, the whole thing is a lie. You'll look far before you see a price on any item that doesn't end in nine, and the purpose of that is to deceive.

The purpose of that is to deceive. What other purpose would there be for having everything end in nine? The purpose of that, it's not $30, it's $29 .99, and see we think, oh it's in the 20s, I can afford it, but if it's in the 30s, I can't afford it.

So the whole thing is a lie. What we're hearing from the politicians, most of it, is a lie. What we're hearing in the media, and reading in the media, is a lie. And God speaks about that in the Old Testament.

He deplores a lying in business. So, when he says, I the Lord have called you in righteousness, he says, I want you to tell the truth. I want you to tell the truth. Don't give me this stuff about you've got a lie or your business will close down, or you've got a lie to complete a contract and nobody will know and everybody's doing it.

Boy, you can hardly do business without running into that. We ran into that last time we bought something, made a major purchase, and they want us to lie about it. We said, we can't do that. We cannot do that.

Different agents are involved and they want their commission and all, and everybody's pushing it a lie. Well, you know, the government will never find out, you know. I said, what if they do? Well, then, of course, you go to court.

Don't worry, if Audrey or I did anything wrong, that would be the one time out of ten million that the government would find out. You better know that. But it's not pleasing to God, because God wouldn't do that.

He is upright. He does not lie. And Christ is upright. He does not lie. Not even a nice lie. Not even a white lie. Not even a lie to cover. Nothing. It's just truth. It's wonderful in our society to see someone who tells the truth.

Diogenes, get your lantern. Alright, give me another idea of righteousness. Back and return the money that you gave me too much. Honesty. I did that once in a bank. The guy paid me, I guess, $50 too much.

I took it back because he paid me too much. And he said, no, it's right. I said, no, it is not. And he counted again. And boy, he said, this is what he said. It is refreshing to find such honesty. That was the statement that he made.

But I don't think that's any big deal. For a Christian, that should be, of course. If I take something that doesn't belong to me, God will not bless me. It will come out of my hide one way or another ten times.

Because Israel receives double for all its sins. It's going to come out of my hide ten times if I do something dishonest. God is not dishonest. Isn't it a good thing for us that God is righteous? Have you ever thought of what it would be like to have an unrighteous God?

You'd be ten times better off never having come into existence. I mean, we would be, that would be the worst of all possible calamities, would be to have a lying, dishonest God. Exactly. And Satan. There could be no greater calamity.

You would never know where you were with anything. We count on God being totally righteous. And God says, I want you the same way you're my children. One deviation from it. Give me another example. We've had truth and honesty.

Kindness and Forgiveness as Righteous Behavior

Another example of righteousness. I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness. Another example of righteous behavior. God is kind. Christ is kind. Being kind to people. What's the opposite? Rude? Unloving?

Christ is kind. And God is kind. And he doesn't want us to be unkind to people, to anyone. He will not honor it. That's a part of righteous behavior. That the Gentiles may see your righteous behavior.

Truth. Honesty. Kindness. These are the coins of the kingdom. Another example of righteousness. Forgiveness. Boy, what a penalty there is that goes with maintaining an unforgiving spirit. Because we get hurt a lot of times.

And usually, by people that did not do it deliberately, usually, that's why Jesus said they don't know what they're doing. He was telling the truth. Father, forgive me. I don't have the foggiest what they're doing here.

He was telling the truth. And usually when people hurt us, it's not deliberately. Now, it does happen that it's deliberate at times, but usually it's not on purpose. They didn't mean to do it. Or they were so wrapped up in themselves, they didn't realize how it was going to impact them.

Whatever. But that, whether deliberately or not, we can't go around doing a burn on people. And boy, is that easy to do. Why? Why is it so easy? Huh? It's the nature of Satan. He's the accuser of the brothers.

So he's right there. I mean, you talk about power steering. He's right there. All you've got to do is just harbor a little bit, and Satan's right there with a factor of ten, to really get you in spiritual trouble.

And then God says, well, I forgave you, you know, ten million dollars, and you're holding five bucks against this guy. Enough already. You forgive him, or I won't forgive you. There's not many things in the Bible that says that if you do this, God won't forgive you.

There's not many things. But unforgiveness is one of them. One of them. If you don't forgive men, neither will your father forgive you. So we can see what a thing of righteousness forgiveness is. And boy, you've got to work at this stuff.

What's the purpose of tongues? What's the purpose of prophecy? What's the purpose of healing? What's the purpose of miracles? What's the purpose of knowledge? So that we will forgive people. See the relation?

What does it mean we're being built up to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ? A forgiving nature. God has to forgive people all the time. God is one long stream of forgiveness. Just one long stream of forgiveness.

That's the way God is. And He wants us that way. If we're going to be like Him, if we're going to come and bring justice to the nation, if we have an unforgiving spirit and a bitter spirit, anybody crosses us, we can't ever get rid of it.

How are we going to come with Christ and bring justice to the nation? It isn't going to happen. So these are the heavy coins of the kingdom. These are the heavyweights. Honesty, truth, kindness, forgiveness.

Humility, Meekness, and Living by Faith

What's another act of righteousness? Behavior, righteous behavior. Humility, humbleness. Humility, humbleness. Is that a word? Humbleness, I guess it is. Or humility. Is that an act of righteousness, to be humble?

Humility, humility. Humility to be proud. What's the opposite? To be proud. You know what it says in Habakkuk 2 .3, somebody correct me. His soul which is lifted up, that is proud, is not upright in Him.

It's not righteous in Him. His soul which is lifted up is not righteous in Him. We talked about being lifted up. The servant of the Lord is not lifted up. But the just shall live by his faith. You would never put those two together, would you?

What reference is it? It's not the connection between those two is not obvious. But you only, a human being can only live in one of two ways. In his own pride, or by faith in God. There's no other way to live.

Every decision you make, you either make out of a lifted up, proud personality, I can do it self, or you look to the Lord to help you. Every decision that you make. His soul which is lifted up, so you wouldn't think, what, humility?

You know, that's nice. You know, we're humble, great, cool. You know, we don't have much chutzpah, but we're humble. But listen, He has shown me, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, that is to be fair.

We haven't mentioned that, but that's big with God, being fair, especially in business. Do justly, love, mercy, walk humbly with thy God. His soul which is proud is lifted up in Him, it's not upright.

But the righteous one lives by faith. That is, he doesn't trust himself. He's not lifted up. He's trusting in God. That's how the righteous live. Righteousness and humility are very closely related. And the proud God does what?

Sends empty away. You know? Sends them away empty. And God says, walk in the light of your own fire and your own sparks. This you will have of my hand. You will lie down in sorrow. So meekness. You know, there were some lawyers that were bonking themselves in great pride.

Earl Clampett told me about it. And one of these big lawyers said, the meek may inherit the earth, but we'll win in court. And the lawyers all thought, oh, that's crazy, that's cool, yeah, we'll win in court.

Forget the meek. That's where the meek get crushed, is in court. That's where they get crushed, is in court. Well, they may win today and line their pockets with money that should have gone to the meek that get cheated out of their inheritance by legal fees.

But the servant of the Lord will put a stop to that. But in order for that to happen, he himself must be free from this. Because if he's going to take advantage of the weak and the helpless, then how is he going to bring justice to the meek?

And God has designed the earth. That's the inheritance of meek people. What does meek mean? Because that's righteousness, too. What does it mean, meekness? What does it mean? Gentle spirit and teachable.

Who in the Bible was known for being the meekest of all men? Moses. See, he didn't lift up himself until nearly the end of his life. Remember that? Then he lifted up himself and he, boy, we beat this thing for you rebels.

And that's what God doesn't want in the servant of the Lord, to crack under pressure. Because as was pointed out, of course today we work with perverse people, and when Jesus comes and returns with us, we will still be working with perverse people.

And disobedient, rebellious, churlish people. I know that from two scriptures. What are they? Which doesn't mean we're going to be ruling kindergarten kids. Okay, we're going to be ruling stubborn, resistant, proud, rebellious people, and the Lord says you'll smash them to pieces like you'd take a crowbar and smash a flowerpot.

So that's how they're going to be ruled. What other scripture do I know tells me that we're going to be dealing with people that are not all that nice. What happens at the end of the thousand year period?

Sure, Satan is able, as these people have been taught by the saints for a thousand years, kids, here you will have poured out your life and been a tree of life for people for a thousand years, and out comes the devil and he'll turn against you.

After a thousand years of righteous rule, that rebellion in mankind is so deep that the nations of the earth can be again deceived into trying to overcome God and his saints. It's incredible, the rebellion that lies in man.

But we know that because of what we find in our own nature, when the Lord begins to get down to cases, we find out that there's resistance there. I don't want to play anymore, Lord. I don't want to play.

I'm going to get my trucks and go back in. Recess is over. To let God go down there and deal with the deep of your personality, what he finds there is rebellion. I don't know about this, Lord, when we should be saying, Father, whatever you want is fine.

You're my Father, my God, my Creator. You know, just mention it. Just tell me, you know, where to jump, how far and when. You know, no question. But do we do that? Sometimes we do, but we've got to do it all the time.

Because there can't be any, once the Lord comes and we have all that power to break the nations with a rod of iron, there can be no mistakes there. I can say, well, all the Lord gave me was, you know, some little town in Missouri, and here he put you over the whole country of Germany or something, and up is going to come envy, unless that's been dealt with.

It was envy that murdered Christ. What was the opposite of envy? It would be righteousness. What would it be? Rejoicing for your brother? What? Acceptance? Generosity? Upbuilding? Esteeming others more highly than yourself?

A peacemaker, who are called the sons of God? The peacemaking is righteousness. But the opposite of envy would be, well, where does envy come from? A desire to be preeminent. And we see somebody that he did Jesus, no way, and they crucified him for envy.

So, one of the righteous acts, the opposite of envy would be contentment with the will of God. I know whatever state I am in therewith to be content. So, if we're content in a lowly place, and God lifts up someone, when we show brotherly kindness, generosity, all the things that were mentioned.

But that would not be possible if we are not content with the will of God for our own life. That gets back to being lifted up, doesn't it? Lift up. Just walking with faith in God. Lord, if you want me to be lifted up out in front, I'm your man, you want me to be behind the scenes, I'm your man.

Whatever you want, Lord, I'm your man. You want me to just be a ball to bounce around, I'm your man. You want me to go, I'm your man. Come, I'm your man. You know, that's difficult because we have inertia.

And once we get going, we want to keep going. And brother Fullerton gave us a perfect illustration of that. He was an old man, and he was starting out from his home to walk to the Bible school, and he didn't want to be late.

And the Lord told him to get up and get going. He couldn't hardly walk. He was sick. He finally died of tuberculosis. And he couldn't drag one foot after another. And he kept going, Lord, can I please sit down?

No, keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going. And finally, he was feeling pretty good. And his strength came to him and everything. And the Lord said to him, now sit down. He said, I don't want to sit down.

Following the Spirit Rather Than Personal Inertia

So we've got a lot of that inertia in us, you know. Inertia is a body that is at rest, tends to remain at rest. A body going in a given direction tends to remain in that direction. And a body going at a certain speed tends to remain on that speed.

All of these hold true unless they're acted upon by an outside force, and that outside force is called acceleration. So anything that changes your speed, moves you from a static position to a dynamic position, or alters your course as an accelerator.

Well, there's tremendous inertia in us. We're down, we don't want to move. We're up, we don't want to go down. We're going this direction, we don't want to change. But you remember, he that is born again, the wind blows where it lists.

The wind blows where it lists. Remember that in John 3? So is everyone that is born of the Spirit. You hear the sound thereof. That doesn't mean we need to be flaky, you know. We can't do anything steady.

It doesn't mean we're flaky, but it means we're like the first chapter of Ezekiel. You know, it goes straight forward, wherever the thing is to turn. It goes in that direction, it goes in this direction.

It follows God, it's straight on down with God. And God doesn't have to come and punch us and pull us and say, would you please change? But Lord, you told me to do this. Well, now I'm telling you to do something else.

Well, I don't want to. Why? Explain to me. Why do I have to change? I've just got comfortable. Give me one more. Integrity. God honors integrity. The word comes from integer. It means one. It means that you're not a person of duplicity.

That you're true to yourself. There's a oneness about you. You know, let your yes be yes and your no be no. That's what integrity is. It means you're not divided in what you're doing. You're not full of guile.

You're single. Your I is single. People can know that what you say they can count on. That's integrity. There's not a whole bunch of other hidden agendas working around there. Agenda two, agenda three, agenda four, and so on.

There's integer. There's integrity. Okay. I am the Lord. I have called you in righteousness. And people, there's a verse that says the righteous Lord loves righteousness. He will not deal in any other way.

He will not deal. We think sometimes if we can put across a Christian program by behaving a little unrighteously, you can't do it. You're wasting your time. God will not be there. He has called us in righteousness.

And when we're not doing righteously, forget I don't care if the church grows till it busts. People's legs are sticking out the window. It doesn't mean a thing if it's not righteous. God wants righteousness.

I have called you in righteousness and I don't want it any other way. And there's no religious excuse for unrighteousness. Any question about that? Because we see so much of that today. Phew. All right.

Letting Go and Trusting God's Grip

Then he says, hold you by the hand. Now, when you have your child and he's in a place that's not too dangerous, you can hold his hand. But when it gets, yeah, he can hold your hand. But when it gets real dangerous, you're on the edge of a precipice.

You're at Niagara Falls. You're walking down very steep cement steps, for example. You don't want the child holding your hand. Why not? He's a child. He may see a bird and let go. So when it gets dangerous, you hold his hand.

Now, here's something. You both can't hold hands at the same time. In order to get the child to hold his hand, you've got to shake loose his grip. Say, let go of my hand. And then you grab his hand. You both can't be doing it at the same time.

Do you see that? Well, that's very practical because we're coming to an age of moral horrors. We're coming up to tremendous things in this country. And your grip on God isn't going to be enough. Your grip on God isn't going to be enough.

You're going to let go. You're going to be pressed so hard. You say, I can't stand this anymore. God, I'm sinking. Help. And God's going to say, let go. Trust me. Let go of that grip you got on me. Just let go of that.

We say, well, I'm sinking. Well, I don't dare. And we're trying to hold on to our religious activities. And God is saying, let go. Trust me. You don't have to save the world. Let go. You can't pass from Pentecost to tabernacles until you pass from your grip on God to God's grip on you.

And that takes faith. You have to believe. I went through this. It was so real to me. When I was in Bible school, God was dealing with me about these things in the late 40s. In the late 40s! Most of you weren't even born then.

And God was dealing with me on this issue. And I knew God was moving me past Pentecost. And I had only been saved about six years. And I had just received the baptism and I knew God wanted me to go on.

And I knew it had something to do with letting go and trusting God. Well, I had been taught in Bible school that the whole world was going to hell. And that if I was really a righteous person, I would get out there and I would crawl on my knees on broken glass to save one soul.

I would go out there in the jungle and burn out for Christ. I would do all these things because all the world was going to hell. And this was pumped into us in Bible school. Well, I don't know what most of the students did.

I know there was a lot of boy and girl stuff that went on, which I don't know how they were concentrating on saving the world at that time. Christian schools are great match factories, Connie. They're great match factories.

Christian schools are great. If you want to get a husband, go to Bible school. Well, and you may get a preacher even. So, I was not married at the time. I had been saved out of a non-Christian background.

And I had a conscience about this thing and I was troll about it. I mean, I was really sweating about this business of the whole world going to hell and I'm not doing anything. I mean, here I am sitting eating my lunch and the whole world's going to hell.

How can I sit and eat my lunch with the whole world going to hell? You know, I'm not crawling on my knees over broken glass. I'm not out in the jungles with malaria burning out for Christ. And it troubled me.

I wasn't the type. I hadn't heard that all my life in church. I knew that preachers always said that. Nobody did it. I didn't know that. I believed what I was being told. And, but when I'd go to God, I knew He wasn't telling me that.

He was telling me to just rest in Him. Well, in this thing, now, it reminds me of Audrey's sister. Audrey's sister Kay, when she was a little girl, she was very slow eating. Very slow. Last one at the table.

Everybody's finished and Kay's, you know, going on. Never had any girls in your household like that that take forever to eat. And then, then they'd say to her, Kay, would you hurry? And so what she'd do would be, she would, she had her knees crossed, she would shake her foot.

She said, see, I'm hurrying. And she would, when she was shaking her foot, I'm hurrying. So that's, that's about what church people do, you know, and that's what I was doing. You know, I thought, the whole world's going to hell.

There's nothing I could do about it. I had to finish the Bible school. I was working in a restaurant washing dishes to pay my way through. And I had absolutely no time but just to attend class, study, go do my thing in the restaurant, come home at night exhausted, get up for chapel, and that was all.

There was nothing else I could do. And here I'm telling you, you've got to get out there. You've got to save the world. It's going to hell and everything. So what I was doing was like, hey, I was just shaking my foot.

There's nothing else I could do. But it, but I was troubled about that. I was troubled about that. And God began to speak to me, and I realized I was facing an issue. And I was realizing that the elders of the Bible school were not in agreement with this.

We're not teaching it, which was more trouble. But I realized God was telling me, the world, the responsibility for the world is mine. All you have to do is what I tell you. So relax. Now do you see what I mean by changing my grip on God to God's grip on me?

And if you think that wasn't scary, I thought I was losing my mind. Because there was no support coming from anywhere. And I thought, well, I can't be right and the world's wrong. I must be supposed to hold on to this thing.

And God is saying, no, I'll take care of that. You just, all you have to do is what I tell you. Now just relax. Just do what I tell you. And that was a real issue. And it still is today. When people are trying to get from Pentecost to tabernacles, they don't dare let go.

Because they don't, what you've got to believe is that God is more interested in the salvation of the world than you are. That he knows what he's doing. That he knows you. That he can make you do whatever he wants you to do, give you the strength and the grace.

And you don't have to carry the thing. And that's a step of faith. I will let go. Okay, so the whole world goes to hell. That's God's business. I am the Lord. I created the earth. I created the heavens.

I stretched out. I give breath to the people in it. I am the Lord. And he's got the power. He's shown that in history. At any time he can sweep on a nation like he did in Indonesia. And people are converted to the thousands.

That happened in Nagaland. It happened in Wales. It happened in Azusa Street. And it's happened in many, many other places. God gets ready to move and he does spectacular things. And people are saved by the thousands.

Healed. God at any time can pour out his spirit on any place. And you've got to believe that. Otherwise you just sit and shake your foot. Because you don't have grace to do anything else. But what it does do, it prevents you from passing over to where God's hand is gripping you.

Because you can't both be doing it at the same time. He has to shake loose this clinging and say, now look, believe me, I care more for the souls of men than you could possibly imagine. I know what to do about it.

There's nothing you can do about it but worry. Now will you let me support you and hold you and give you peace and believe when I've got something for you to do. I will do it. And that's a transition that you'll have to make to really enter into tabernacles where, I mean, this internet thing, we had a lady, I read her letter today, she's translated 30 of our booklets into Norwegian and she's given them to an evangelist who travels around in Scandinavia passing out these booklets.

God’s Word Spreading Through Unexpected Means

Just that alone, just that alone is a tremendous outreach. Just that, never mention the rest of the people that hit the net today or the 22 or 23 or 24 ,000 people that have read the bomb in the last 140 days.

Not counting that or the audio tapes or the videotapes or the booklets that go out or what people, see when we say 22 ,000 people read the bomb in the last 140 days, that has to be anywhere near reasonable, it has to be multiplied by a factor of at least three.

Because just Andrew alone, every time the bomb comes out he sends it on to 20 people. There's very few people that don't print it out or forward it to somebody. So it's more like 50 ,000 or 60 ,000 people.

And yet, I haven't done anything. The internet was Brian's idea. We've got five families in the church working on the thing. Mark Overton keeping the computer going and all I'm doing is just what I want to do, what God gives me to do, and not worrying about the rest.

And in the meanwhile, the word's going out all over the place. Just in Scandinavia, this one guy going with 30 booklets in Norwegian, written in Norwegian. So, God has been true. I took my hands off it.

God is doing what He wants done. And I don't get any glory or credit, and I don't want any. I'm too happy just doing what God, and that's a step, the church, the Christian church, God is calling for that today.

Because you can't hold on to God's hand and come to the stature of the fullness of Christ. You hold on to His hand brings you to a certain point, but then He says, okay, I'm going to take over, I'm going to be your everything, and you're just going to have to trust me for everything.

Quit shaking your foot. Just enjoy the presence. Just enjoy. Inquire in His temple. Seek the Lord and inquire in His temple. Don't lift yourself up. Just let God. Let go and let God. That doesn't mean go to sleep.

That doesn't mean get passive. That doesn't mean quit praying. It means just learn to flow with God. Sound like a plan? It'll work. It's working in this church. It's working. We've got an outreach now that is unbelievable.

The Church as a Light in a Dark World

Shall we stand? Oh, hallelujah. You made it, man. Good. This fella's out there listening to me the whole time, this guy. Good job. Good job. What are we going to do? We're going to tell the Lord that by His grace come to the statue of Christ, we're going to be a servant of the Lord so that this crazy, sin-cursed, drunken world will have a light now and in the ages to come.

You agree with that? Somebody was telling us, and I think it was Brother Hicks, so wonderful. It doesn't say if two of you shall pray together, it'll be done, does it? What does it say? Agree. I never thought of that.

I never thought of that. But Brother Hicks brought that out. It's so wonderful. God didn't say you have to pray together. He didn't say agree and pray. He just said agree. That's why I said, do you agree with what I said?

That's where the power is. And he says, the problem is getting two people to agree. Lord, we agree together and there's enough of us here, hallelujah, to make a difference in this old world. And we agree, every one of us, Lord, we're in absolute agreement.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The kingdom is the Lord. It's your power, Lord, your kingdom, your creation, Lord. You made it and you can run it. Hallelujah. Just make us, Lord, your servants, your bond slaves.

Hallelujah, Lord. Oh, you've called us in righteousness, Lord. Now create that righteousness, that image of Christ. Create it in us, Lord. Give us gifts and ministries so we can create it in others. Lord, that this world will have a light.

It's sick tonight, Lord. It's sick. They're killing each other. The kids are shooting each other in high school. Lord, it's gone crazy. The women are killing their babies. People are destroying themselves with drugs and booze.

Lord, help us to grow up to maturity, that we can be a light in this dark, blighted world, Lord. Oh, God, by your power, if we can't, what do we know? We don't know anything, Lord. We don't have any power, any wisdom.

We just look to you, Lord. You've got it all. Now help us, Lord. These cells in the body of Christ. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Now praise your name, Lord. Thank you for the word tonight. Thank you for the word.

And I pray, Lord, you'll be with each one now as they drive. You'll keep them safe on the highway, safe. And be in their home. Let the angel of your presence be there, Lord. Let the angel of your presence be there in their home, Lord.
