Walking in Covenant and Divine Healing

If you walk in covenant, this is where he's trying to move us. See, we've been over here. Wanting God to move over. Because we already had it all worked out and he's funny about it. He just hadn't moved as he so I think.

That we're crawling back over here. And that right, you know, I've often thought about these. I kind of I get so tickled. Tickle it James. I'm glad you had him here a few days ago. James says that you know, you should never have healing lines.

People don't like healing lines. What you need to do is start healing circles don't have them to line up. They start healing circle now. I've added another thing to that. I believe that when you pray for the sick, you should have everyone to come on the left hand side over here.

No, I believe that you better have them one. They want to be healed the goats get on that side. I Believe that you better get them to come on this side the ones that want to be healed should come over to this side right over here and they pray to be healed and The ones that want to double up on their tumors and their sickness and everything and that they want to get blessed with another one.

Everything you pray for them over here. Now you think hey folks, I'm not saying this to be cute or smart. I'm agreeing with the word right here. You understand that I am agreeing with the word see this see when you find out that demons bring sickness into your body and that in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and In his covenant word right here you Not some man came to town.

Let's forget that stuff. It's all Jesus. But you in the name of Jesus Have authority to bind that disease to that demon and cast the whole thing out of them and we're seeing more and more. But let's just be honest while we're on this subject divine healing hasn't become a reality today.

Let's don't just cover it all up. But it's more and more reality not now than it ever was and it's coming back. The the people and things we see in people be healed up. Well, anyway. There is the curses or the are the curses in covenant if you don't obey the Word of God.

Do you think that some of these things might have got on us? We just skipped a bunch. We'll come back here later on. Let's see we got to verse 20 was it to our at 25? Start 27. Okay. Let's read one more.

Let's just read for the 45. Verse 45 so all these curses shall come on you and pursue you now. Do you see that darkness overtake him? See darkness the curses of the enemy is always pursuing you. This is how darkness overtakes you.

They pursue you and overtake you until you are what? Do you want you to know everyone the world's being destroyed? It's just a slow process of destruction. Because you would not obey. You would not keep covenants what it's saying over and over and over and over.

Will you please tell me folks? When did it change? When did it ever change not you didn't have to walk in covenant? Who come back from heaven and said God's changed it all because He's tired of being God.

He wants us to be God. Because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping his commandment his statues which he commanded you now. We just to be sure that this is a covenant. Let's go to chapter 29.

Just read that first verse. These are the words of the covenant now. These is a covenant blessing and curses which the Lord commanded Moses to make with the sons of Israel now. Are you know, we're the sons of Israel today.

The sons of Israel in the land of Moab beside the covenant which he'd made with them at horrible. Now there is the blessings in the curses. Now, let me ask you something. Do you believe take those blessings?

Are reality today for people who walk in covenant shake your head it absolutely is. Unless you've got something else worked out. Now is the curse is all over the church today. They really are and in a lot of cases they're called blessings.

See, this is where the enemy can make darkness make you think darkness is light and bitter is sweet. If he can't prevent something he perverts it and that's what he's been doing. I'll tell you what we're doing folks.

We're starting all over again. Jesus is Lord. It just doesn't matter what anybody's saying except the Lord Jesus Christ. It just doesn't matter. I mean, let me it does matter but this matters more. Okay.

Christ as Lord and the Image of God

Now we exchange name Jesus favorite name for himself. He began being called the Son of Man here. He is through Jesus Christ. All things are created in heaven earth visible and visible where the throne dominions rules are thought everything has been created through Jesus Christ for Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is before all things and in Jesus Christ all things hold together and now he's taken on the name of Son of Man. In that interesting and of course, we are called Christian, which is what little Christ.

Isn't that right? We're called little Christ, which means that we do the works. He who believes in me the works I do shall he do also and in what John 14 says now you're going to really like this. Let's look in John 6 in John 6 now, there's a difference in this kind of bread and the soup line bread, isn't it?

Soup line bread is for the carton. Okay, this bread is for the spiritual man. All this stuff about bless my flesh my carton go get your flesh blessed. I tell you we live to build up the inner man. This is where we live.

We're died to the carton daily and the lust of deceit the lust of the flesh and When you choose this process and everything God makes it a reality in life because you can in every temptation. We're called we're told that we can go to the throne of grace.

He said you've got a priest. It's already been suffered in and in and tempted in all points yet without sin and done that same product race. He sits right there and say this resentment every time anyone hurts you.

There's unforgiveness and resentment immediately comes to you. The devil comes right there. The demons come to build a case against that person. Immediately like that and right there when they do that you and you can't stand against resist.

You just called Lord. I choose with my will to love and forgive. This person has hurt me from your throne now I receive love and forgiveness is flowing through me to that person and that's over for the devil.

Now that's grace. That's grace, but you walk in covenant and you resist the devil and you know what next thing he does. Then say ignore him said resist him and he flees because you're not listening. He doesn't have any ministry with you.

You're in Christ and you're saying I'm not coming out. Mr. Devil I'm in and I'm not coming out so John 6 verse 48 I Am the bread of life. Jesus says your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.

This is a bread which comes down out of heaven so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that come down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever. Now that what's this bread supposed to represent?

You know if you're in here if you're in a covenant if you make a covenant you remember that brother Peter and I we would Eat the bread and that would mean our flesh, wouldn't it? That would be taken Peter into me.

Peter would be taken me into himself in that right. So what he's talking about, I want you to understand and catch this folks. He's talking about covenant to these folks and they get all tore up a little later because they don't want his enemies.

Because these people when they get in covenant with somebody like this, I mean it's all over for there I mean for you just watch the disciples walk away and watch what happened here. I'm the living bread that came down out of heaven.

If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever. That's covenant and the bread also which I shall give for the life of the world is my what? What do you do when you go take the Lord's Supper? The bread and the wine that is renewing covenant, it's a serious thing.

I Has a few warnings about this. Let's go in verse 52 the Jews therefore begin to argue with one another saying how can this man give us his flesh to eat? Jesus therefore said to them truly I say to you Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood you have no life in yourself.

You know what? He's talking about the symbol of covenant right there. Isn't it the bread and the wine. Do you see it? He's saying that's all it that's how you have eternal life to make covenant with God.

You don't make covenant with the devil and have eternal life. Well, you know the fact you're gonna have eternal life somewhere. I think it's called eternal death. But you'll if the fact you're living is the fact you're going to live forever somewhere.

You choose. You choice choose because everything God ever created he's tested. He built a hell. He built for a hell for many many many angels that won't agree with Satan. We're given a choice today whether we want to agree with Satan or agree with God today.

And he built a hell for these angels eternally. That's the judgment God Adam. The first man created Was tested. He didn't pass the test. And you Me and millions others were cursed and still cursed because the sin of that man.

The most upright man on earth was tested Job Peter. The Lord Jesus said to him Satan's a man in to sift you as wheat. He didn't get out of it. He said I pray that after he gets through sifting you that you return and strengthen the brethren.

He's tested. See Peter once tried to do it in his own strength. He said I'm ready to go to prison and die for you Lord big-mouthed. You hear that's carton talk and he said Peter before the For the cock crows for for the Sun comes up you'll deny me three times.

What Peter do he denied him three times, you know, there's something else happened. He received grace. He received power at Pentecost. He wasn't denying me anymore. Was he folks? No, because he received that grace to be something he wasn't.

You can't stand the test. You can't take the test without the grace and the power of God on your life. And we're going to see how power comes in a church and why there's no power today before we get through here this week.

We're gonna see why they're absolutely no power. Jesus Suffered more and was marred before any man more than any man. It pleased the father that he suffered. I'm gonna tell you something you are being tested.

You hear me? It's in her man. Your heart is being tested to see who you're in agreement with. Who you want to be a image of. Let's go ahead 52 the Jews therefore begin to argue with one another saying how can this man give us his flesh to eat?

Jesus therefore said to them truly truly I say to you unless he eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood. You have no life in your steps. In other words, he says death is working in you folks.

You are dying. You're already dead in God's eyes. Unless you make covenant with God and then 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks. My blood has what? What is he saying there? He who makes covenant with me has eternal life.

Do you see that? That's exactly it. And I will raise him up on the last day for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. Is this getting a little interesting folks? Now verse 56 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood.

Blood remains in me and I in him as the Living Father sent me that now that see that I and me and me and him. See, that's the way, you know, I give you example of Peter and myself making covenant. We become one.

He said he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood that's covenant. They become one. Is that what you're reading right there? 57 as the Living Father sent me and I and I live because of the Father so he who eats me He also shall live because of me.

I don't want to go too fast. I just want you I don't give you just a chance to meditate on this 58 this is a bread which come down to heaven not as the Father Satan died. He who eats this bread shall live forever when you make covenant with God Almighty.

You eat the bread the flesh of Jesus Christ. You make covenant with him. You live forever. Is that plain? Now, let's look in verse 60. Many there are four of his disciples. When they heard this this is a difficult statement who can list who it and in verse 63.

It is the Spirit who gives life the flesh profits. Nothing. You folks is wanting to live via carton of flesh Prophets nothing. It's nothing. It's phony. It's satanic the nature of it the world system the people of the world.

Walk talk and act like Satan. They are an image of Satan. It is spirit. It gives life the flesh profits. Nothing the words I've spoken to you our spirit and our life. And look at verse 66 as a result of this.

Many of his disciples withdrew and we're not walking with him anymore. And look what he said to the 12. Jesus therefore said therefore to the 12 you see there's more disciples in the 12 around. There were multitudes of disciples around we see in one place in Luke see that you know that Jesus didn't do a thing to any disciples.

He couldn't do through me and you. See it's always Jesus where it's him through him them or me or you it's always him. See a disciple disciple is what we call to be a disciples. Jesus said therefore this is the 12.

Do you want to go away also? You do not want to go away also do you now look look at me other people don't make covenant with God. Because their heart goes somewhere else now. I want you to remember this scripture.

He who wants to save his carton. Flesh is Going to what lose it but he who loses the life of this carton the flesh. But he who loses life for my sake and Covenant gospel shall what you're going to save it.

And over let's say it again. He who loses life he who tries to save his life is going to lose it. You know what he's saying he who tries to save his carton lives for his carton. It's gonna lose it now.

You're gonna have one time. I'm telling you down here. See we got a lot more hours left. I'm telling you down here some things that but it's going to come clear and clearer to you. But he who loses life tries to save his life is going to lose it.

But he who loses life for my sake in the gospel my sake that's covenant. It's the ones it's going to save it. Let me give you another way in in Revelation had all ends they overcame by what the blood of the Lamb.

Well, what was the blood of that? That's a victory that the Lord won for us at Calvary. Isn't that right? Number one. That's how we overcome a victory. It's already been won for us at Calvary number two.

By the word of our testimony. What is the word of our testimony that we shook some preachers hands? No, our testimony is that we say what God says we speak the word. That's what moves the spiritual realm.

That is how it so we overcome to the blood of the Lamb the word of our testimony and love not our carton until death. If your heart goes out to your carton, how can you walk with God? You're walking. That's a spiritual realm.

The World’s Hatred and the Church’s Covenant Community

Let me give you that I'm just gonna have share that share something with you later. Well, it's hard to keep them going about 15 different directions. I won't tell you it's gonna be a good week. Can just tell you Boy, I'll tell you what Jesus is something you don't just throw a fit now.

Praise the Lord John 7 verse 5 and I want you to remember this. We're going to tie it in somewhere else. For not even his brothers were believing in him his own brothers. Of course, we know that later on they did but there wasn't believe in him at that time were they?

Interesting thing happened his brothers and mothers one time. We're gonna look at it later. Now look at verse 7. He said the world. The world. I hope you mark this the world. Cannot hate you, but it hates me.

Because I testify of it that its deeds are evil. Do you know something when you walk in covenant you convict the world of self-centeredness? That's why the world hates you when you let your light shine if you got the light it's shining it's not on the bed or on the bushel and.

And that lie that light convicts the world and the people you get around it it convicts them of their self-centeredness and Selfishness because that's where the all the whole world is programmed to live for themselves.

The opposite of selfishness is love we become we're walking in a supernatural realm where we give and we give and we give and we Give because we've got an unending source from the throne of grace the more we give the more we get.

Given it be given unto you a full measure shaken down pressed down and running over. Will it be given unto you as you give unto men and see that involves a lot of more things than hundred dollar bills.

You give grace you give mercy you give love whatever you give your time. What have you give patience you get more. So you will be hated by the world. Is that what your Bible tells us now? I want you to turn with me to John 15 and it's would be the place where we throw our fit.

I want you to know That when you come into covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ, the church will not be the church. We're not going to see things happen like they did in Acts until we know what the church knew in the book of Acts.

We don't know what they knew but I know that we're coming into it and it's coming fast. For the people that want to know. And it's not called coming to one man. It's coming to the body and I want to tell you what they had a covenant relationship.

Let me tell you what they had. That's why someone could take all their possessions the wealthy and everything that they had and throw it down. They counted it as nothing because they was not longer living for the carton.

They were living for eternal things. They set their mind on heavenly things instead of earthly things. Their covenant when you make covenant and you come in the Lord Jesus Christ and someone else in the Lord Jesus Christ you become one you're in covenant with you got the same covenant with one another and that's what they knew and That's what the Lord is teaching us today.

So the disciples had a relationship. We're disciples if you notice over in Acts, they were the congregation of disciples. They weren't a congregation of joiners and the disciple does the works of Jesus.

And their relationship with one another we're going to look at John 15 folks and I'm going to tell you what's the truth. I Pray to God you'll not let the devil take this away from you. They can steal the word right out of your heart.

What they do is just replace it with a lie. Now when you read what you're going to read here I want you're gonna read something strong and I hope you'll hold fast to it. Now here's supposed to be our relationship to one another in chapter 15 verse 12.

This is my commandment. Our covenant that you love one another just as I have loved you this is a disciple relationship. Greater had love has no one than this that he laid down his life for who? Who are friends.

Friends is someone you're in covenant with blood covenant. What do you do? What is coming? You always have to lay down your life when you make covenant. Amen. Is that what we've seen over and over you love this person as yourself that is covenant.

I have you mark lay down your life. For his friend that is the covenant love right there. That is loving kindness. That is mercy. That is grace. That is the God kind of love right there. Now you say well, I can't do that.

I'm going to tell you what you absolutely cannot but I'll tell you what when you're willing to. You'll receive the grace from God that you will do it. When you get an agreement right there in covenant, what do you put these things in a word for us?

All right now 14 you are my what? Friends if you keep covenant if you do what I command you. Another word if you do what I command you if you keep my covenant, you're my friends. Covenant is made to walk in this agreement.

I will if you will covenant is not made to analyze. Speculate about it. It's something you do. It's a place where you live 15. No longer do I call you slaves for the slave does not know what his master is doing, but I have called you what?

That's covenant that's disciples right here. They're friends for all things that I've heard from my father. I've made known to you glory be to God forevermore. That's good. Why I tell you what. I get glimpses of grace and it just almost consumes me.

I mean God is something 16 you got your big pencil ready. Here's another one of those refrigerator verses. You did not choose me. But I chose you. Do you remember, you know when someone gives the invitation you sit back there gonna be the prize egg.

Well, okay, I'll believe that Jesus Christ is a son of God great. The demons do it and tremble. What's that got to do with making Jesus Lord and getting in covenant? It's not a middle of thing. It's a heart where with the heart man believes in the righteousness.

He said it's not a question where you choose God. It's a question of whether God chooses you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and what. Bear fruit and that your fruit should remain.

Please. Look at me. What did God tell the first Adam be fruitful and he told him to multiply? What did he tell the second Adam be fruitful and multiply? What does the second Adam tell us be fruitful and multiply?

Let me tell you show you how you be fruitful. You be fruitful. The only way you can be fruitful is walking in covenant and When you walk in this word when you take thoughts captive and when you walk in this word and obey this word the fruit of love and joy and Peace so you are a tree of the field.

Long suffering and goodness and gentleness and meekness and temperance and faith. I'll only come out of you when you walk in this word. Are you a branch? Let me ask you over here, I can't hear you. Are you a branch?

Are you supposed to be a branch? Did you ever see a branch get myself and try to bear fruit? You'll not bear fruit unless you're into the vine. Amen. You don't get into the vine unless you're in agreement with him and you're not in agreement with him.

Unless you're walking in covenant. And so he is the one that produces the fruit in you when you walk and go and he said I've chosen you That you go bear fruit for Satan. No, I've chosen you that you go bear fruit for God that process reversed back from the first Adam who fell so because we are being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ who is his an exact image and Representation of God, is that correct?

Now if you do this, you know what bearing fruit is that means that you're walking in covenant. Amen. Let me say it again. I think you might just be saying it just to agree with me. Do you understand and see that a person is being fruitful is walking in covenant.

Well, look at the second part you've got your big pencil ready and Then you're bearing fruit you fruit your name and then what? Ever you ask of the Father in my name He will yield to you. You don't see better not.

Yours pass out some scissors you don't cut in this out. Now is that strong? He says whatever you ask. Did your Bible just say whatever you ask you're gonna get? It doesn't it sounds a lot different than praying and hoping it kind of praying and knowing right?

Huh? I want my family saved. Off the whole muted community say on my son say on a lot of things walking covenant and it's done. Now are you seeing what the church can do with the powers of darkness when you start discipline and getting sin out.

Like the Bible says when he quit being unevenly yoked. With tears have cannot be be make covenant with Satan. We're gonna look at that in a minute. Folks, that's strong right there. Now. Let me just give you example the opposite of this.

I mean, we're gonna get there later, but you know, we're in James James for he said you pray and you ask and you ask a miss and You do not receive. Because you want to consume it on Your there it is desires lust your pleasures.

That's what happens people who pray and walking out of the carton. Save you time. Go read the paper. You ask and you do not receive because your motives are wrong. Because you're wanting to make a name for yourself.

You're wanting to exalt yourself. You want to make a name for your church? You want to make a name for a lot of things instead of a name for the Lord Jesus Christ? The people who are making a name for the Lord Jesus Christ are hated by this world and they're persecuted.

There's a difference and walking after the carton and walking after the Spirit of God. There's a big difference. Look in verse 17 and we're going to cover that a little better. Later, and we're going to come to that and I want you to remember that we read this in John 15.

This I command you that you love one another. Now here is a disciples relationship to the world and this is what we're supposed to be disciples. Here's a relationship the world if the world hates you.

You know that it has hated me before it hated you if you were of the world the world would love its own. It love you if you were the world but because you're not of the world, but I have what? I will you please circle chose you about four times.

I Have chose you. What's that next word? Hello the world. Therefore the world hates you. You don't walk talk and act like the world. You don't compromise the world. You don't have to please the world.

The world's what's being destroyed the world's what's in darkness the world's what's hanging in there while they've been torn apart. You don't supposed to hang on loud. Hang on like the world you ruling rain verse 20.

Remember the words that I said to you a slave is not greater than his master if they persecuted me. They will also persecute you if they kept my word. They'll keep yours also now in Chapter 16 verse 1.

Here's a warning from Jesus these things. I've spoken to you that it may kept you from what? Stumbling now stumbling. Look at me folks stumbling means when you get the wrong wine what happens. You know what did I mention this year did I talk about this last night stumbling in spiritual darkness, huh?

See at the noon part of the day. Let me just for the benefit of somebody one here. You know at the noontime a day the word talks about you stumbling. Well a noontime of the day you can see and the natural realm how to walk this stumbling and staggering is talking about your staggering in spiritual darkness stumbling.

You get a hold the wrong teaching a opposite teaching a different gospel and what this is and you stumble. But this may have spoken these things to you to keep you from stumbling. They will make you what?

From the what sound like some people are gonna be outcasts from the synagogue. Hmm, but our is coming for everyone who kills you to think he's offering service to God. Well, I just looked a couple of verses in 14.

Discipleship and the Works of Jesus

We're going to take a short break. Let's turn back to chapter 14. We got to be fruitful now. We're gonna look at the multiply. How do you multiply? You multiply by being a disciple what's given you you're dealing with somebody else.

That's what a disciple is now verse 12. Truly truly Jesus says I say to you he who believes in me may ask you something. Do you believe in Lord Jesus Christ? I Don't want you to listen to rest this verse.

He who believes in me the works I do shall he do also is that plain? Why should it be any other works to do? The works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go to the Father and When you're being fruitful and in the next part you're multiplying watch what comes next if you're doing the works of Jesus and Whatever you asking him in my name that will I do that?

The Father may be glorified in the Son and in case you miss verse 13 in 14 He says it again if you ask me anything in my name I'll do it. Are you seeing everything goes back to the first Adam you be fruitful and you multiply?

Covenant that is covenant. If you used to look at the front of you top of your page right there. That is the ministry of Jesus to be fruitful. That's walking in covenant. Multiplying it's being a disciple and give what has been given unto you.

That's love. That's covenant love and then the next verse for 15 If you love me You will keep my covenant that I made with you. Do you love the Lord? Do you really love me? He says if you love him then Your Bible says you'll keep covenant.

Receiving Teaching Through the Word

Now what you do. You sit there and you don't do not be under any condemnation. To have to receive or understand anything until the Lord Confirms it and shows you in your heart you called in the Liberty and Freedom.

Now I know that he's going to do it and he's going to do it with this word. This is just the first part. We're just folks. We're just getting started. There's a bunch more behind this to tie and everything was we're just starting out with covenant.

These things that I'm telling you about blessings and curses and things. When as I go through the word, I'm going to point back to covenant. I said you see you see and you see and you see and it'll be quickened to you and be quickened to you and the Lord will enlighten you understanding.

He'll give you wisdom. He'll give you understanding and you're going to see it just like looking at this. So probably most of the question all the questions that you can ask it's going to be answered.

You're going to wait till we get to them. Oh, okay. Amen, I don't tell you I've still got questions, too. So it's good to have questions. There's nothing wrong with having questions. Alright now He says if you love me, you're going to keep my commandments, right?

I want you to turn with me now to John 17 and we're going to look at the prayer of Jesus to the father. Is this his covenant clearing up folks? It's covenant looking better all the time. Shake your head.

We're seeing some things we haven't understood before aren't we? John 17 and Jesus this is called the high priestly prayer To the father and I want you to know that I forget exactly how many times he mentions the world in this prayer 17 times or more, but he never wants praise for the world.

You notice that now verse 4 Jesus says to the father I glorified thee on the earth. Having accomplished the work which thou has given me to do verse 11. And I am no more. Verse 11 I am no more in the world and yet they themselves are in the world.

I Come to thee Holy Father in that precious. Keep them in thy name. The name which thou has given to me. Are you ready? That they may be what? That They may be one even as what? Now, I hope you mark it mark that they may be one as we are now.

I want you to look at me. He wants us to be one as they are. Let me show you something. You know the first covenant God made with Adam is a father the Son and the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost one. They're one because they're in covenant that's why they're one.

He intends for us to be one as they're one. Is that what you just read and we become one with the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit? When you're in covenant, is that strong? Let's continue verse 22. He's talking about their future glory the future glory and The glory of which thou has given me.

I have given to them that they may be what? One just as we are what? Everything's one. Is that covenant? That is covenant. I don't want you to watch the next part. I am them and Thou in me is that covenant when he's talking about the Father in him?

Is that covenant the Holy Spirit in him the Holy Spirit in us? Is that covenant? I? Am them and thou me that they may be what? Perfected in unity. Perfected in unity that is covenant and we see that in Ephesians 4, that's what the evangelist the pastor the.
