So if you're suffering from hopelessness, eagles are going to solve that for you in 2020.

Suicide rates have gone up, and people are just feeling very desperate, and a lot of despair.

Yeah, this is definitely the response that people need when they're feeling suicidal. Right, exactly. This will save their lives.

I think we are living in a day of age where things are so convenient.

Everything's right at the tip of our fingers. Things are easier to access. We have so much physical blessing around us, but despite all of those things, so many live in hopelessness.

And I just rebuke that in Jesus' name because as we enter into... Wow, that solves it right there.

Why didn't anyone do this sooner? Can we have just a little mini tangent here? As a pastor, how would you actually address someone who was dealing with hopelessness or suicidal thoughts?

So in a situation like that, we would pull all the way back to the cross, go back to their baptism, that they've been baptized into Christ's death and resurrection, and that kind of the three pillars of Christianity are faith, hope, and love.

Faith in Christ for the forgiveness of our sins, love towards neighbor and our good works, and you can even come back to Ephesians chapter 2 and talk about that we are created in Christ Jesus for good works, but that one of the things that spurs us on, even in the face of hopelessness, persecution, suffering that we go through as Christians, is that we have a hope that Christ words that, behold, he's making all things new, and that there's a day when he's coming in glory to judge the living and the dead, and all of the suffering that we experience in this lifetime as a result of our sin will give way to the new earth that he's creating, and none of this is going to come to mind.

So you've got to point people to the real hope that we have in Christ of the new earth, the resurrection, and all of that.

As I wrote this word, I was reminded of a vision that I had about 25 years ago when

I was younger. I was in prayer, and the Lord showed me. It was such an impressive kind of image, and I knew that this was from the

Lord, and I felt that this vision that the Lord showed me would apply to many years of my life.

And what the Lord showed me was an eagle flying into a city, and then an eagle hatching eggs to release baby eagles.

And as they grew, this company of eagles were arriving. So an eagle was decided to lay its eggs and raise its children in the city.

And she says she knows that this was from the Lord. How? I don't know.

And they were going to a different city to release another company of eagles.

It was like constant birthing of new eagles that the Lord... It's infestation.

They're migratory, and they're spreading across the different cities. They're taking over the city. I mean, what are they feeding on?
