Revival Begins with Prayer in Gethsemane

Hello friends, this is manna in the morning and our devotion today is revival. Our scripture passage is found in the gospel of Luke in chapter 22 and in verses 44 through 46 we see in God's Word and Being in agony.

He prayed more earnestly and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground and When he rose up from prayer and was come to his disciples He found them sleeping for sorrow and said unto them.

The Great Awakening and the Church's Spiritual Slumber

Oh, why sleep ye? Rise and pray lest ye enter into temptation. In 1740 when God moved through New England. It was called the Great Awakening. Revival has often been referred to as an awakening at Gethsemane.

Responding to the Church's Present Crisis

Jesus faced the crisis point of his earthly ministry and his disciples slept right through it. Today the church is in a crisis point and we are sleeping right through it. Let each of us who desire to see revival in our day Arise and pray and seek God earnestly and besiege him to have mercy upon our sinful land and to pour out his plentiful effusions of grace and revival at this desperate hour.

Repentance and Calling the Nation Back to God

It's time for the people of God to call this nation back to God to the God of the Bible Through a time of sackcloth and ashes and a humbling of ourselves in true repentance. As we come to God in desperate prevailing prayer Praying for a spiritual awakening That will save our young people from hell and save our nation from destruction.

A Prayer for National Revival

Great God Sent us revival that they will grip this nation from coast to coast. With a God consciousness and a sense of our own sinfulness in the strong name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray Amen.
