It seems that from this first verse the
Lord's disciples didn't know how to pray and I thought about that but they didn't have the
Holy Spirit as we have. And it came to pass that as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased one of his disciples said unto him,
Lord teach us to pray as John also taught his disciples.
Russell, is prayer to be written down or to be spontaneous?
It has to be spontaneous and personal. Now remember
God the Father knows you better than we know ourself.
I don't think he wants me to put on any airs or assume an unnatural voice, flowery language.
