Sometimes, people today argue that hell is just on this earth, or that we are in hell right now.

However, the Bible does not teach that we are in hell right now, or that everyone on earth is suffering in hell presently.

Instead, it teaches that hell is a present and future location for all those who do not believe in Jesus.

God only sends people to hell who justly deserve His wrath for eternity. To be delivered from this wrath, we must believe in Jesus, as John 3 .36

Bible identifies hell as a separate place of existence away from this earth. First, people will be in hell for eternity, but they will not be on earth for eternity.

However, people will not be on earth for eternity, as James 4 says. Secondly, everyone is tormented in hell, but everyone on earth is not in conscious torment right now.

So basically, the earth is not absent from the presence of God. Fourth, hell is described as a place of fire, as Matthew 3, 5, and 7 talk about.

But the earth, for example, has many cold places on it. So if you think, unfortunately, that the earth is the worst it could be, or that the earth is hell, you're unfortunately mistaken.

And I encourage you to invest the claims of Jesus, to place your trust in Jesus, and do not rely upon your good works or anything good you've done, but trust the person of God in flesh, who performed miracles, and rose from the dead, and trust in Him and you will have everlasting life, and be delivered from the just wrath of God upon sinners.
