Seize the Moment - Revival — Michael L. Brown

Abba, Father, give us ears to hear what your spirit is saying. Write the truth of your word on our hearts and lives. Take us deeper. Touch us so we can go and touch this world. In Jesus' name, amen. Turn with me to Habakkuk chapter three.

Habakkuk’s Dark Historical Context

Habakkuk chapter three, one of what we call the minor prophets. Habakkuk, a contemporary of Jeremiah. I asked Pastor Lee, is there anything that you want me to lean into, speak on? Last time I was here, he asked me to speak on a particular topic.

I said, anything you want me to lean into? And he said, Dr. Brown, if you could speak on something related to revival. Of course, that's always burning in my heart. So I'm gonna teach a little and then I'm gonna tell you some stories, things I've seen and witnessed with my own eyes, and then tell you what is happening today.

And that'll tie in with this book we put up, Seize the Moment, so you understand what is happening, what the spirit is doing, getting a bigger picture so we can be part of everything the spirit of God is doing today.

So if you're familiar at all with the times of Jeremiah, they were dark times in Judah's history. There were times of national backsliding, idolatry, immorality, injustice. The most heinous sin of all was that the children of Israel were doing what the pagans did, sacrificing their own children to idols.

Extraordinary evil. And as Jeremiah preached repentance over a 40 year period, the people rejected his message and wanted instead the message of the false prophets and the major leadership. They were corrupt.

After one godly king, Josiah, sought to bring the nation to repent, the nation did not repent. And his sons were corrupt. The priests were corrupt. The prophets were corrupt. The princes were corrupt.

Jeremiah was a lonely prophet through much of this. Through part of this time, Habakkuk was a contemporary. And in the first chapter of Habakkuk, he cries out to God because of the wickedness, the sin of his people.

If you ever feel grieved because there's just so much sin and wickedness in the world, you're not alone. This has been the pattern through history that God's people get grieved and broken over these things.

So he cries out to God and God shows him, I'm going to bring judgment. I'm going to send the Chaldeans, the Babylonians, and they're gonna bring judgment on Judah. And when he sees in vision what's coming, he's shocked because the judgment's gonna be intense.

It's almost like the cure is worse than the disease. So he's struggling to sort this out and God tells him in the second chapter to wait and to trust. And in the third chapter, he prays a prayer. Just gonna read two verses.

Habakkuk’s Prayer for Revival

Habakkuk three, verse one, a prayer of Habakkuk, the prophet on Shigyonot. We don't know exactly what some of these Hebrew terms mean, probably some type of musical term. Just this verse now, verse two.

Lord, I've heard of your fame. Literally in Hebrew, I heard the report about you. I've heard about what you did in the past, which implies it's not happening today. I heard about the great works of God in the past, but where are they today?

Lord, I've heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds. When I hear of the things you did, I'm staggered. I'm overwhelmed. I can just worship, but there's a problem. We're in crisis today and we don't see your hand at work.

We're in a life and death situation today. Where is the God of the Exodus? Where is the God who delivered Hezekiah from the Assyrians? Where is the God who sent down fire from heaven in the days of Elijah?

What does he say? Renew them in our day and our time, make them known. Some translations say revive them in the midst of the years. Do in the past, do today what you did in the past. Repeat these things, oh God.

And wrath, remember mercy. That last clause is telling us, we understand we deserve judgment. We understand your wrath should be falling on us, but even in your wrath, remember mercy. Now it's interesting, this verse kind of in an obscure book, many will struggle to find Habakkuk, flipping through a Bible and not familiar where it is.

Many will not be familiar with the contents of Habakkuk understandably. And yet Habakkuk 3 .2 has been a well-known verse in revival preaching. In fact, in Charles Finney's classic book, Lectures on the Revival of Religion, that's the very first verse that's cited.

When I was teaching in a ministry school in Long Island many years ago, a couple that we were friendly with, Nancy and I knew them, they were a bit older than us. And the wife got a real burden to go on a long fast for me and for one of the students in the school.

And at the end of the fast, she said, Mike, I feel like I got nothing for you. I said, what do you mean? She said, I didn't hear anything from God. I just got this one verse, I have no idea what it means.

I said, what's the verse? She said, Habakkuk 3 .2. I said, that's all I needed to hear. It's God confirming to me a promise that he made years ago about revival and that I'd see it and be part of it. Revive, bring back to life.

That's what revival is in its essence. You can't revive the floor, the floor was never alive. And if you got a two year old kid running, sprinting all over the building, wearing the family out, that kid does not need reviving.

His parents might, but the kid does not need reviving. Revival is something that was once alive, it's become dead, it's become dormant, it comes back to life. And this is not just something in the Old Testament that you have these seasons of revival where the nation has been apostate, the nation has been away from God.

And a great move comes and there's repentance and the temple is restored and cleansed and the people go back to worship and they burn and destroy their idols. It's a New Testament concept as well because we have the outpouring in the book of Acts and the pattern of the moving of the spirit in the book of Acts.

And it's not there just as a tease, it's there as a template. It's there to tell us what happens when the Holy Spirit falls and this is what happens over a period of decades. But when you get to the end of the New Testament period, when you get to the book of Revelation and read Revelation two and three, you find that five of the seven churches in Asia Minor get a strong message of repentance from the Lord.

And he says, repent or else, but if you repent, I'll bless, if you repent, I'll restore. It's a picture of revival again. American history has been shaped by revival and I have no question without some of the awakenings we had, the first and second great awakening and other outpourings we had, without those, we would have been destroyed as a nation or we would have fallen apart and broken into many different countries.

Revival is absolutely essential. It comes at times of crisis. It comes not just as an add-on. It is not just another blessing. It comes at critical times. And as I taught on revival over the years, I used to use other people's definitions on it.

You know, it's God stepping down from heaven and things like that. But I decided in the midst of the Brownsville revival that I should come up with my own definition. So just imagine Pastor Lee with his whiteboard here and I'll just write this out for you.

Revival is a season of unusual divine visitation. Revival is a season of unusual divine visitation. That's what it is at its heart essence. Does the Holy Spirit live in us as God's people? Yes. Does the Holy Spirit meet us as we gather corporately?

Yes. In a certain way, does God's presence fill the whole universe? The word would say yes. Revival is a season of unusual divine visitation. God coming in exceptional ways. God coming in exceptional power.

God coming in ways that you can mark. This is when it began. This is when it ended. You've had meetings like that. You've had many outpourings. You've had it this year where God breaks in and the services go for hours and instead of five people coming to repentance, there are 300 people coming to repent.

Something unusual. It's a season of unusual divine visitation. What has it resulted? The first thing, generally speaking, you're gonna see is deep repentance. So a season of unusual divine visitation resulting in deep repentance.

Deep Repentance and the Refiner’s Fire

Why deep repentance? Because revival comes when something's wrong. Jesus said he didn't come for the healthy, but for the sick. And of course, everyone's sick, just meant he didn't know it. He didn't come for the healthy, but for the sick.

So when revival comes, it comes because something's wrong and God's presence comes deeply and it begins to reveal what's wrong in us. I can't tell you how many pastors I met who told me they came to the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola between 95 and 2000.

And they came, they'd come on buses from all over the country. And of course, by plane from all over the world. And they'd bring their congregants with them. Why? Because their church needed a fresh touch.

The people needed a touch from God. And the pastor, to their surprise, they were the first ones to respond to the altar call to repent and get right with God. Now think of that. You're the pastor of the church and here's an altar call.

And this altar call is for, you know, you could be a serial rapist. You could be an adulterer. You could be a thief. You could be anything. Or you could just be someone that God's convicting of being lukewarm or prayerless.

But the altar call, everybody's coming up together. And think of the conviction you have to be under as a senior leader of a ministry to be one of the first ones running to the altar, weeping and repentance.

I mean, your people are thinking, what did he do? Who did he kill? And these pastors would tell me, I brought my people because they needed a touch. I'm the one that got touched. And they tell me these words, I feel like I got saved all over again.

That's what happens. The refiner's fire comes, Malachi 3, and it brings up to the surface all the junk that you didn't know was there. That's why many people reject the move of God. They pray for God to come so he can add something to us so he can bless us, so he can make us bigger and better and stronger and happier.

First he comes to deal with the corruption and the sin and the junk. Many times we don't want that. Remember what happens when Jesus ministers to this man, this demonized man and sets him free in the Gadarenes and drives thousands of demons out of him into the pigs and pigs just run down an embankment and drown.

And now this man who is crazy and extreme and naked and cutting himself and living in the graveyard, and he's now clothed and in his right mind. And the townspeople come and hear everything that happened.

And you know what they do? They beg Jesus to leave. They beg Jesus to leave. I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen people pray for God to come. And when he comes, it's too much, it's too intense. Please leave.

I even wrote a sarcastic prayer for revival many years ago. Think of it, me writing something sarcastic. Who can think of that? For those who don't know me, I'm a New York Jew. Sarcasm runs in my veins.

Sometimes in the spirit, it's sanctified sarcasm. So I wrote this prayer for a nice revival. Maybe I've recited a stanza or two here in the past when speaking on a similar theme. Oh Lord, send your glory, send your power, but please, oh Lord, keep it to an hour.

Oh Lord, come and quench this longing of our soul, but please, oh Lord, leave us in control. God comes as a refiner's fire. So a season of unusual divine visitation resulting in deep repentance, supernatural renewal.

Ah, because people get set free and people are getting radically saved. And just like the lame man in Acts 3 who's healed walks into the temple leaping and jumping and praising God, so also people are getting set free.

There's joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. You've never seen joy like you've seen the joy that follows repentance. You've never seen joy like you've seen in the midst of a revival. Because repentance is so deep, the joy is so glorious, and people are being set free and people are being transformed.

So it results in deep repentance, supernatural renewal, and sweeping reformation in the church. So repentance, renewal, reformation, they all come out of the outpouring of the Spirit. Because you begin to adjust things, you begin to fix things, you begin to realize, okay, this is why things are wrong.

This is why we need to do things differently. We need to go back to prayer. We need to go back to the basics. We need to fix this up. And along with that, a real revival will bring radical conversion of sinners in the world.

So a season of unusual divine visitation resulting in deep repentance, supernatural renewal, and sweeping reformation in the church, along with the radical conversion of sinners in the world. If it just stays within the church building, it's not real revival.

One reason is, if it stays within the church building, then the people are not really being revived because when you're revived, you live differently outside. And you live differently outside, sinners start getting saved.

When you live differently outside and people see the change in your life, and you're now a more passionate witness, and the love of God is pouring through you, and the Holy Spirit's working through you, people will come to the Lord.

It's just an automatic thing. Not only so, but the Holy Spirit can be poured out regionally, and suddenly, you're just talking to people. They were resistant, they didn't wanna hear. Now they wanna hear.

They had it with the gospel, they had it with dead religion, they had it with church. Now their ears are open. What happened? God came. God came. You know, just look at it. The ground is dry, and the crops aren't growing, and the cattle is sick and dying, and the people are sick and dying.

The rain comes, and everything begins to change, and that dry ground absorbs it. That's why revival comes to those who are hungry and thirsty spiritually. Revival comes according to our capacity to receive God, because there are many places he would gladly go, but he's not welcome.

You say, he's God, he can do what he wants. Yeah, and he chooses to go where he's welcome. This is how he works. He works relationally. He can do whatever he wants to do, however he wants to do it, at any time, because he's God, and this is how he chooses to work, and we are accountable.

Revival, Discipleship, and National Crisis

During the Jesus People movement, from around 67 to the mid -1970s, there were more Jewish people saved during that time period than probably 25 years before and 25 years after. God just swept down in our midst.

One brother, a bit older than me, was at, I think, Berkeley University at that time, and he said, there was a season of a couple of years where virtually every Jewish person he talked to about Jesus came to faith.

He said, and then one day, it stopped. He went to talk to someone, they wouldn't listen, another wouldn't listen. Something changed in the atmosphere. It's been documented through history. I'm an eyewitness to it, living through it myself and seeing God move, and you say, well, I was just interacting with a dear brother, and we were having some conversation about revival, and it wasn't part of his own background, and he's saying, look, we can't wait for revival.

We have to make disciples day by day, and what about after revival? It's day by day. Well, it's always day by day. That never changes. We always live for God day by day. There's always daily discipleship.

In the midst of the Brownsville revival in our ministry school, that was a big emphasis, daily discipleship and teaching that and training people in that to multiply and reproduce. That never goes away, but here's the issue.

If you've seen the church in the same state for 20 or 30 or 40 or 50 years, something has to change. What's gonna change it? Revival, outpouring. When you see a nation in steady moral and spiritual decline, and it's clear which way it's going, something has to shift.

How does it shift? Revival. Put another way, more of the same only produces more of the same. There's a code sentence that Nancy and I have, and it goes back to a dialogue that we had about 20 years ago when we lived in Pensacola, Florida.

Nancy looked at me one day. By God's grace, I'm thin now, but I was not then. And she said, hon, I think you put a little weight on recently. I said, actually, I did, I did. And it wasn't about vanity, it was about health.

And I said, I did, but I've got a plan. She goes, oh, okay. Six months later, she says, hon, I don't think you lost any weight. I said, no, no, you're absolutely right. I haven't, but I have a plan. And she said, oh, okay.

Six months or a year goes by. She says, hon, I think you've actually gained weight. And I said to her, no, you're right, but I have a plan. And she said to me, your plan is not working. She's also a New York Jew, by the way.

Your plan is not working. That has become code for us over the years. And August 23rd of 2014, when I was the heaviest I had been in my life, high blood pressure and all this, I mean, I loved the Lord, I was passionate.

Everyone that's dealt with weight issues, it's challenging. Food's challenging, you gotta eat every day. Food addictions are, it was much harder for me to get set free from chocolate and pizza than it was to get set free from heroin.

I'm telling you the truth. I got instantly set free from drugs and all that junk in 1971. I went through three miserable days of withdrawal when I got rid of these food addictions. But I sat down with Nancy, August 23rd, 2014, and I said to her, my plan is not working.

That was the code. My plan is not working. And she said, okay, I'm taking control of your diet. No food passes your lips without my approval. Oh, when it comes to preaching the gospel, I'm fearless. You put me in front of a hostile crowd that may wanna kill me, I'm fearless.

I've lived it out. God's my witness. I'll go for it, I'll preach. I don't care what the consequences are. I'm gonna obey God. Put new food on my plate. It's like, no, I don't like that. I don't eat that.

I was an ultimate food wimp. Say, Dr. Frank, you're not gonna talk about food now, are you? Oh, no, I'm not. That's not the emphasis. But hear me. I knew something radical had to happen and God intervened in my life.

It was nine years and my life was radically changed. I'm not gonna get the whole story, but it's nine years of healthy eating, saved my life, changed my life, transformed my life, praise God. The bottom line is that you have to look around sometimes at the Church of America and say, okay, if we got the new strategy and the new conference and the new this and the new this, and every year our numbers are dropping and every year more and more young people are dropping out of church and sin and addiction is spreading through the body, our plan is not working.

I don't mean in every church. Thank God for what's happening in healthy growing churches like Radiant. I'm not just saying that because I'm here. I'm here because of that, because I'm drawn to what you're doing.

But you come to that realization, our plan is not working. And I'm not gonna take time here to talk about the moral crises in America and the craziness we're living with because you live in it right here.

And you live in a city that I understand is not the most conservative city in America. Is that true? In a state that is not the most conservative state in America. Our plan, church as a whole in America is not working.

Testimonies from the Brownsville Revival

We need a visitation, we need revival. So let me tell you stories for a few minutes and then tell you where we are today. God promised me in the spring of 83 that I would serve as a leader in a revival that would touch the whole world.

Remember at this point, I'm unknown, I'm finishing my PhD work at New York University, passionate for the Lord, but nobody knows me. It was outlandish when God spoke that to me, but I knew it was him.

Initially I thought I was crazy, but he confirmed it over and over. And then of course called me to serve as a leader in the Brownsville Revival. And friends that I had talked to, and my old friends from Long Island in those days, as they would get to visit Brownsville, they'd say, Mike, you told us this was gonna happen, you'd be part of it.

It was stunning, it was like living out a dream. Say, well, what are some of the things that you saw? Well, I mean, there was the phenomenon of week in, week out for several years, most days of the week, as the services would be most days of the week, the lines would form outside the church building, they'd start to form at six in the morning.

In fact, if you got there at certain times of the year, by the time you arrived at six, the line was already a block and a half long. Six in the morning. You said, what time did the doors open? Six in the evening.

There's no advertising. And some of the people standing online weren't even saved. I mean, I'm thinking of one young lady, came down as a maybe 18-year-old teenager with her mom, and her mom said, you wanna go to Pensacola?

They got great beaches there, we got break. Sure, mom, let's go. And then mom wakes her up like five in the morning. Come on, we gotta go. What do you mean we got five in the morning? Where are you going?

We're going to church. We're going to church. I came here to go to the beach. Well, we're going to church first. What time does the service start? Seven in the evening. Why are we getting up at five in the morning to get online?

I mean, what kind of attitude would you have as a teenager thinking you're going down to the beach, and now you're going to stand online in front of a church building for 12 hours? And this happened. Cumulative, millions of people did this over a period of years.

What time does the service start? Seven. So you get in an hour before. You wait online 12 hours. Now an hour before the service starts. How long does the service go? On average, five or six hours. Night in, night out, night in, night out.

You say, what happened to that young lady? She got saved and became a missionary to Tanzania. And that's what happens in revival. One of my colleagues was telling me a story he knew personally. Young man, son of an Assembly of God pastor, furious with the revival.

He was a gay man in a gay relationship and perceived that the church hated him and that this God they preached hated him. So he walks into the church building angry, angry. But obviously his family had been praying for him and God knows what's going on in the heart behind the anger.

He walks in the vestibule, gets that far and the power of God hits him. He hasn't heard preaching, he hasn't heard worshiping, singing. He gets in the vestibule, the power of God hits him. He's laid out.

What do you do? Well, the ushers picked him up and laid him at the altar where he spent the entire service and got up gloriously, born again, changed, went back out, broke up the relationship with the other guy that he was with.

The other guy now comes in. I don't know the rest of that story. I know the first guy through a colleague walked with the Lord, was a solid convert, changed by the power of God. But the identical thing happened when his friend came in, walked in the building, the power of God hit him in the vestibule.

He was laid out and carried to the front. I just don't know the rest of the story for sure. I think he came to the Lord. I don't know that for sure. The first one I know. I mean, it's crazy kind of stories.

One woman driving by the building comes under deep conviction of sin. She was not thinking of God at all. She's just driving by the building, comes under deep conviction of sin. Next thing, she's weeping in her car and crying out to Jesus to save her.

How do we find out her story? Because she becomes a member of the church and we hear her testimony. And this is the kind of thing you hear week in, week out. And I was talking to Pastor Garrett yesterday.

The thing that was the neatest of all, the best of all was what happened when people left the building. People would be in the services, they were expecting more. The good services, but they were expecting more.

And as they left, the spirit would fall. Spirit would fall on them in the car, on the plane, or when they got in front of their church. You know, they didn't know what to expect. A pastor would stand up.

He thought he was, he didn't know what he experienced. And he gets up to speak on Sunday. He can't, he breaks out weeping. The whole church breaks out weeping. The spirit falls dramatically. They go through a deep period of cleansing.

You can't orchestrate that. One of my favorite stories I heard from the pastors involved. They were in New Jersey. When I ministered for them, they were about two years into a powerful move of the spirit.

And they said it's been steady since they went to Brownsville. What happened? Well, he went down with four other pastors, so five pastoral staff. And they enjoyed the meetings. Praise God, good meetings.

Good preaching. Good worship. Good prayer. They went to the altars. They responded. They repented of any sin in their lives. And trust me, with Steve Hill preaching, everybody's gonna repent of something.

I mean, the sword of the spirit was convicting. They get prayer for every night. People laying hands on them for fresh importation. It was good, but they were expecting more. Well, Pensacola was a regional airport, still is.

So you have to fly into another airport to get there. So they were flying by way of Atlanta, and then Atlanta back to New Jersey. And they had five tickets all together, all of them together. Somehow when they get on, they didn't know what happened, but when they get on, they're all separated, five different parts of the plane.

And it's a really short flight. It's maybe a half hour flight to Atlanta. Probably not even that much time in the air. As the plane takes off, to the senior pastor's shock, the spirit falls on him. Didn't happen in the meetings, in the worship, in the shouting, in the weeping, didn't happen there.

With all the glory, all the crowds, it didn't happen there. It happened, to his shock, the spirit falls on him on the plane. And he weeps the entire flight. He can't wait to get off the plane to tell the other four guys what happened, only to find out it happened to all five of them simultaneously, and other parts separated.

And they realized this was God showing them. It wasn't the crowds, it wasn't the emotion, it wasn't the hype, it was the spirit. And then they went from there into the service, that Sunday night service, the spirit fell, and they'd been in a steady mood for two years.

I've seen this with my own eyes, and I witnessed to it. I traveled to countries I'd been to many times before. We had powerful meetings, but I came from the midst of Brownsville, and we had visitation.

I mean, it'd take me weeks and weeks to share the details of so many of the things that I saw and lived through. I just met with a pastor, an executive pastor of one of the leading churches in our county.

Wanted to spend some time and talk with me, and he said, Dr. Brown, you know, I was there, I was a sophomore in high school when the spirit fell. He said, this is my first exposure to Brownsville. Now, his dad was a Methodist pastor, open to the things of the spirit, but very critical, skeptical.

This fellow, Nathan, is in high school one day, walks into the school, and he sees a girl by the locker, and she's unable to open the locker because she's shaking so violently. Her hair is springing everywhere.

It's like, what happened to this girl? This is school, you don't wanna stand out, be noticed like this. What happened? So he says to a friend, is she okay? He goes, oh yeah, she goes to that church that never ended.

What do you mean never ended? Well, they start service, they just keep going. Why is she shaking like that? Well, then he starts hearing reports. You know, this guy in class, just in the middle of class, falls out of his chair, falls to the ground shaking.

They bring him to the nurse's office, no one knows what's the matter. They call his parents, no one knows what's the matter. He can't talk. This is scary stuff. And finally, he can only get one word out, Brownsville.

They begin to put two and two together because this is happening in different schools. They call the youth pastor of the church because he was known in the schools, had good relations with all of them.

They call the youth pastor. Brother Richard, what's going on here? He says, oh, these kids are coming to the church and God's touching them. Well, the school initially was upset until they saw these kids transformed.

And so they saw the kids who were the worst troublemakers and the most obnoxious and bound by drugs into gangs and violence, sleeping around, and they become class leaders. They become exemplary students.

The power of God just touching. That's the way it happens sometimes. God comes in overwhelming ways. And we would tell people in Pensacola every week, we don't care if you fall or shake, that's not the issue.

The issue is how do you live a year from now? How do you live five years from now? How do you live when you walk out of this building? That's all we care about, lasting fruit. I was sitting here looking out, one of our grads touched in the same environment, been a missionary in the Philippines.

Some of the people touched there, and what we've seen there on the mission field, 25 years. One of the leaders of our Philippines team came as a youth leader, had to step down. He was struggling with porn, struggled with it for years.

He gets instantly set free in the revival, goes to our ministry school with his family in the Philippines almost 25 years now. Daughter just won as a missionary to Japan. This is what we're talking about, long-term fruit.

The Present Moment and a New Jesus Revolution

So where do we stand today? It's gonna close in a couple of minutes. Where do we stand today? That was then. Those were great stories. I tell you those stories to build your faith. I tell you those stories to tell you what can happen and to encourage you to dream dreams.

Well, I don't mean to live in a world of fantasy, but to pray big prayers. I mean, who are we praying to? Mighty Master God. If we could do it, then why are we praying? We're praying to Him to do what we can't do.

I mean, I've had a deep assurance in my heart for probably going on 25 years now, or at least 20, that this next Jesus revolution is gonna have a massive harvest of those from the LGBTQ community. Some of your worst opposers here in Kalamazoo are gonna be at this altar weeping, getting right with God.

I believe that. Just like all these hippies, radicals, rebels, God said, it's gonna happen. And we're gonna have to be full of love like we've never had before to greet people from every walk of life.

Beginning in late 2019, I sensed that something was rising. I started to see more hunger, more thirst, more desperation in the body because that's what we have to have. Revival does not come to the complacent.

Revival comes to the desperate. And God knows what He's doing. If He sent revival to the complacent, they'd reject it. I sensed this hunger rising. I sensed the beginning of God starting to break out and move.

And then it's like all hell broke loose. COVID hit. And then we had the difficult race situations and race riots. And then we had the election fever. We had scandals with leader after leader falling in the church.

And then all the false prophecies about Trump serving eight consecutive years. And then the January 6th events. It was a period of incredible shaking. I realized in retrospect, the refiner's fire had begun to come and shake us.

Especially in the church, all the junk was starting to come up to the surface. Oh, and then as I was traveling last year, some place after place after place where God was moving, something's going on, something's going on, something's going on, something's rising.

I knew it. And I began to speak what I'd seen for years that I see thousands of holy fires coming. Not just one place where God's moving, like Brownsville or Toronto, but thousands of places where the Holy Spirit's moving and falling.

Thousands. And then early this year, late January, I thought I need to speak what I know. I need to say it publicly. I got on the radio and I said, listen, I wanna make it clear. The beginning of the first wave of the next revival has already hit America.

I just wanna make that clear. It has already begun. It's in its early stages, but it is here and it has already begun. And about eight days after that, revival hit Asbury. What do you know? And that was a divine exclamation point.

It was God bringing attention to that. I told, listen, I told you it's here. It's here. Your church, the outpouring you had on Super Bowl Sunday and lasted for some weeks after that. Do you know that you were one of many churches around America that had an outpouring that same day?

Do you know I was getting texts from pastors like Pastor Lee, leading pastors, that same day, Dr. Brown, you won't believe what happened. What do we do? The Holy Spirit fell. The meeting went on for hours, hundreds repenting.

The Holy Spirit breaking out. One pastor in Colorado heard what happened in Asbury. He'd been in a growing move at his church. And he said, Lord, what about us? What about us? Went to church that next Sunday, the second Sunday service, the Spirit fell.

It ended eight o 'clock the next morning. The service went literally through the night uninterrupted till eight o 'clock the next morning. And they've had since then, only about 1200 people, they've had since then 24 -7 prayer and 24 -7 worship.
