You Will Not Believe The Latest Charismatic Scam From Ron Carpenter

You know, I should really stop saying now I've seen it all, because in the charismatic movement, that is never true.

You simply will not believe this. Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen.

My name is Justin Peters. I hope that this finds you and your family doing well today. I want to thank you so much for joining me.

And no, I am not trying out for the next Star Wars movie. I'm not Obi -Wan or anything like that.

I know you've never seen me this casual on this YouTube channel, but I'm actually wearing a sweatshirt of my father -in -law's transmission company,

But at any rate, so Kathy and I were out walking the dog, and I'm riding on my scooter.

She's walking, of course. We're out walking me, and so I come back. No big deal. Eat a little bowl of ice cream.

And this thing pops up on YouTube, I happen to see. Actually, no,

I take that back. It was on Protestia's website. I'll put a link down below in the description if you want to see the story.

But anyway, it caught my attention, and I thought, this cannot be real. But it is real.

Of course it's real. I mean, we're talking about the charismatic movement, after all. You will not believe this scam coming from Ron Carpenter.

Talk a little bit about him in just a second. When you look at the history of the charismatic movement, it is littered with prolific false prophets, egregious, brazen heretics, and sexually immoral people.

It's a pattern in that movement. And also con artists, scam artists.

And that goes all the way back to the beginnings of the charismatic movement. John Alexander Dowie was a con artist, as was

Charles Fox Parham, the father of the Pentecostal movement.

Boy, if you ever do some research on that scoundrel, oh my word. But he had a couple of different scams to raise money from people.

Maybe I'll do some more on him later. But at any rate, this is a pattern in the charismatic movement.

So why should it be any different today? It's not, of course. You won't believe this scam.

So Ron Carpenter is the pastor of Redemption Church. It is a large church.

There are two branches of it. One in Greenville, South Carolina. The other in San Jose, California.

And as best I can tell, has about 22 ,000 members.

So I've never talked about Ron Carpenter on this channel. Maybe you've not heard of him. But he has one of the largest churches in the country.

So he is very popular. I actually ran into him one time at the airport. And challenged him on his theology of healing.

He's word of faith, basically. Prosperity theology. Always God's will to be healed.

And I challenged him on that. I will say he at least talked to me for a few minutes.

But once I... I've seen this with Joel Osteen. I've seen it with Jesse Duplantis.

Two other well -known charismatic preachers I've been able to talk to personally. Once they realize you know what you're talking about.

Once they realize I have a little bit of theological wherewithal, I suppose.

To put it that way. Then they don't want to be challenged. They leave real quickly.

And it was that way with Ron Carpenter. He has got this new money -making scam.

I'm just going to play the clip. I'm going to play the clip. And you will not believe it.

But here we go. Watch. Okay, I'd love to have my own personal pastor. So I hit the

Ron Carpenter Ministries archive. And I called Pastor Ron. And after I called

Pastor Ron, let's say... You know what? Let's say I'm not feeling good in my body.

Pastor Ron, I'm not feeling well today. Could you pray for me? I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

Let's take a moment to pray together. Heavenly Father, I thank you that you know us and hear us.

Right now, I lift up my friend to you. I ask for your healing touch to be upon...

You want to know more about it? You have to wait. We'll tell you later. Dear friends, Sometimes I'm at a loss for words.

So Ron Carpenter has this app, apparently, that's coming out. Where you can talk to Pastor Ron.

You can carry Pastor Ron around with you. 24 -7, 365. On your iPhone or your

Android or whatever. And if you ever need to talk to Pastor Ron, You can just whip out your phone and hit the little app there.

And talk to Pastor Ron. And he just gave an example of that. He said,

Pastor Ron, I'm not feeling well. And there's this little pause. And Ron Carpenter's own voice comes back.

It says, I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. What an absolute joke.

This app, apparently, is going to cost you $49. So let's just round it up to an even $50, shall we?

$49 looks a little bit more affordable. It looks better for the eye. It's a little more pleasing to the eye.

But not for $50. Dear friends, When you shell out $50 for that app,

And you think you're carrying around Pastor Ron in your pocket. And you can call

Pastor Ron anytime you want to. You're not talking to Pastor Ron.

You're talking to artificial intelligence. You put in a bunch of his sermons.

And the AI algorithm or whatever does its thing. You're not talking to Pastor Ron.

You're talking to a robot. You're talking to a robot.

For all intents and purposes. And no, Pastor Ron is not sorry to hear you're not feeling well.

Pastor Ron doesn't even know you're not feeling well. Pastor Ron doesn't have the foggiest idea who you are.

Nor does he care. And for Pastor Ron to pray for you.

To hold your phone and listen to Pastor Ron pray for you. Hey there,

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Let's take a moment to pray together. Heavenly Father, I thank you that you know us and hear us.

Pastor Ron ain't praying for you. A robot is.

And you think a robot's prayers are getting to heaven? You think

God hears the prayers of a robot? Are you kidding me? This is artificial intelligence.

This is a mindless, soulless computer program.

That doesn't have the foggiest idea who you are. Doesn't have the foggiest idea who God is.

It is a computer program. An inanimate, mindless, soulless computer program.

Doesn't know you exist. Doesn't even know it exists. It's a computer program.

A robot. You think the

Alpha and Omega is going to respond to the prayers of something that doesn't even know who

God is? Are you kidding me? What an absolute... On second thought.

On second thought. Maybe it actually is better. On second thought, now that I think this through, it's probably better to have the

AI Ron Carpenter praying for you. Because I guarantee you, the real

Ron Carpenter's prayers aren't getting to heaven. The AI probably has a better chance of getting into the throne room of God than do the real

Ron Carpenter's prayers. Because we know from Isaiah 59 that unrepentant of sin,

God will hide his face from us and our prayers will not fall on his anthropomorphic ears.

Isaiah 59 .2 This is just absolutely unbelievable.

Dear friends, not only does AI not care about you, the AI Ron Carpenter does not care about you, the real

Ron Carpenter does not care about you. Ron Carpenter is a false teacher.

Peter describes... In fact, every book in the New Testament, except for Philemon, every single book in the

New Testament has direct warnings about false doctrine and or false teachers and commands to mark and avoid them, commands to expose them.

This is a warning about false doctrine and false teachers is a prominent theme in the

New Testament. And Peter describes false teachers like this. I want to show you this.

This is from 2 Peter 2. Let's look at this. But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies even denying the master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be malign.

Now I want to pause there. Peter does not say that there might be false teachers among you.

He says that there will be false teachers among you. And how will they introduce their destructive heresies?

With flags waving, guns a -blazing, saying, I'm a false prophet, I'm a hireling, I'm a wolf, look out for me.

No, of course not. Secretly. They will have some truth in what they teach.

Every false teacher has some truth in what he or she teaches. But mixed in with that truth, heresy, theological poison.

Little Levin leavens the whole lump. How does Satan disguise himself? Satan doesn't show up to us red and scaly with a bifurcated tail carrying a hay fork.

He's smarter than that. He disguises himself as an angel of light. Peter continues,

And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. One of the marks of a false teacher is greed.

In their greed they will exploit you with false words. How do you think it is that these prosperity preachers, these word of faith, health and wealth gospel preachers, afford these palatial mansions?

And apparently from what little work I did, Ron Carpenter himself lives in about, oh, was it

I think a $7 .2 million parsonage? Pretty impressive, especially in a state like South Carolina, which has pretty reasonable living expenses.

But at any rate, how do they live in such palatial houses?

Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, has the largest private residence in the state of Louisiana, 35 ,000 square foot parsonage.

Bigger than Ron Garbiner's. How do they afford it? Because they are exploiting you. You're poor?

Send me money. God will get you out of debt. Oh, you're sick? You need to send me some money.

Cancer is it? Oh, that could be really serious. So you need to sow a big seed for that.

Oh, your child has cancer? That's really serious.

You sure wouldn't want your child to die, would you? So you'd better sow a big seed for the miracle that your little boy or little girl needs.

You think I'm using hyperbole? Oh, no, sir, I am not. I cannot tell you how many times

I have heard these word -faith preachers. Sow a seed, reap a harvest. The bigger miracle you need, the bigger monetary seed you need to sow.

Need a big miracle? Sow big seed. I wish I had a nickel for every time

I've heard that. This is the bread and butter of the word -of -faith movement. And this, 50 bucks to have an

AI computer program use Ron Carpenter's voice to make you think.

To make you think you're talking to Ron Carpenter. Ron Carpenter is praying for you.

Absolutely unbelievable. Just when I think I've seen it all, I should never, ever, ever tell myself, now

I've seen everything. Because in the charismatic movement, trust me, you've never seen everything. I want us now to look at Jude.

Jude verse 12. Jude says, these are men who are hidden reefs.

He's talking about false teachers. Men who are hidden reefs in your love feast when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves.

That is one of the hallmarks of a false teacher. A false teacher does not care about you, does not care about God, cares only about himself or herself.

You think Ron Carpenter had his tech guys come up with an AI app, synthesize his voice because he cares about you.

Are you kidding me? The only thing about you about which he cares is your money.

Your 50 bucks. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever I don't think my mind could even come up with something so twisted and honestly so stupid.

People shell out 50 bucks to think Ron Carpenter's praying for them. He doesn't care about you. He only cares about your money.

He only cares about himself. That's a hallmark of a false teacher. Mark it down.

They don't care about you. They care only for themselves. And then Jude says that they are clouds without water.

That's the very next phrase. This is where I get the title of my seminar, Clouds Without Water, that refutes the

Word of Faith, New Apostolic Reformation, Health and Wealth, Prosperity Gospel.

That's where I get it from. And the phrase right before clouds without water, caring only for themselves.

Some of you have heard me say before that one of the hallmarks of or one of the reasons rather that false teachers are so prominent is that false teachers are, in and of themselves, part of God's judgment.

Sometimes people ask me, Justin, how can people believe these folks? They're so outlandish.

They've had so many false prophecies. They've had so many scandals. Their tales are so fantastical.

How can people be duped by these false teachers?

They are part of God's judgment. God said something very interesting in Jeremiah chapter five, verses 30 and 31.

God says, I have seen a horrifying thing in the land. The prophets prophesy falsely.

The priests rule on their own authority. And then God says, And my people love it so.

My people love it so. They want to be deceived.

Some people want to be deceived. People are getting to the point, as Paul said in 2

Timothy chapter four, where they will no longer endure sound doctrine, but will heap to themselves teachers who tickle the ears, people who have itching ears, and they'll heap to themselves these false teachers that tickle the ears.

Won't endure sound doctrine. That's exactly what we're seeing today. And so God, in an act of judgment, is basically saying,

Okay, you don't want sound doctrine. You won't endure that. You want someone to tell you it's always

God's will to be, always my will to be healed. Yeah, okay, here's Benny Hinn. Here's Kenneth Copeland.

You want someone to tell you that the most important thing is health and wealth. You know, have your best life now.

Here's Joel Osteen, and Kenneth Copeland, and Jesse Duplantis, and Joyce Meyer, and Joseph Prince, and Ron Carpenter, and Andrew Womack, and Todd White.

You know, how can people be so dumb to believe that Todd White is actually lengthening people's lives?

How is it that Michael Brown can give a full endorsement of Todd White, you know, a supposed intellectual in the charismatic movement?

That's what we're seeing, dear friends. All right. Ron, if by some chance you happen to see this video,

I will make the same appeal to you that I have done to Kenneth Copeland, and Benny Hinn, and many others, many of the other ilk in your theological circles.

If you will truly come to Christ in a godly sorrow over your sin and trust

Him and Him alone for your salvation, He will save you. You will pass from death to life.

Trust in Christ and His completed work on the cross. Not a false Jesus. Not a false

Jesus that promises health and wealth. No, a Jesus that actually promises persecution.

A Jesus that promises suffering on this earth. Come to the

Christ who has satisfied God's wrath, His holy wrath that burns against sin.

And if you will come to Him empty -handed, He will save you. And if God grants you true repentance, true faith, true repentance, if He is kind enough to grant that to you, that repentance will be evidenced by you coming out and saying, you're a liar.

You've been giving false prophecies, teaching heresy, putting words in God's mouth that He did not say, and exploiting people with false words.

Boy, if there's ever been an example of 2 Peter chapter 2 exploiting you with false words, oh my goodness, how much more false can you get than from some

AI program that you're telling people is praying for them?
