I've got a question. Who is the Holy Spirit and what does he do? The Holy Spirit is one of three persons in God.

The Holy Spirit and Jesus and the Father, together we call them the Trinity, all have different roles or jobs to do, but they're all united in the same being,

God. The Bible says the Holy Spirit lives inside of us.

What does that mean? God tells us that his Holy Spirit works inside the heart of every believer.

He knows your thoughts and your feelings better than anyone. He guides you and helps you understand how to make good decisions and how to love others.

I heard the Holy Spirit can help me understand the Bible. That's right.

The Holy Spirit helps you to see God's special message that is written in his Word. He also helps you to know how to pray and talk to God.

So, understanding that I love God and I need Jesus as my Savior, that's the

Holy Spirit working in me? That's right. Once you accept

Jesus as your Lord, you have his Holy Spirit in you. He will continue to work in your heart, to comfort, encourage, and guide you in everything you do.

Wow, now I understand why it's so important to know who the Holy Spirit is and what he's doing in my life.
