When we hear the things he says, we will understand why. Why do I feel anxiety about this?

Well, we are up against the authorities, three bishops from the established church. Robinson here is referring to bishops from the official

Church of England apologizing to the LGBTQ community and vowing to support its agenda.

I'm really pleased it's changing. For my, you know, gay friends, I'm really pleased. And no, it's not enough for some, and I'm really sorry it's not.

You know, we've spent so much time listening and working with people across a whole range of diversities.

It has brought us to a new knowledge and a new place of humility before gold, before church, before the world, where we can say, yes, we got it wrong.

And we're not saying, by the way, we think they've got it right now, but we are saying this is a good place to be.

And I really hope that we can hold together our unity. And I cry out for those who hate what we're doing and say, we want to hold you together in this, but this is the fullest pastoral provision that we can offer at the moment without changing legislation, which would take years anyway, years and years.

In an open letter, we together apologize for the pain, hostility, exclusion, and rejection that LGBTQI people have experienced within the church.

We know that we need to change. So Robinson is anxious because he is about to stand up to some of the most powerful and influential religious figures in his country.

Christian leaders? Well, let's see what Robinson says about all of this. There's a growing number of vocal bishops who want to change the church's teaching on marriage, the result being the spiritual neglect of Anglicans up and down this country.

St. Paul describes marriage as, Therefore, a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh, in which he is mirroring the language of Genesis, where God tells man and woman to be fruitful and multiply.

Both Aquinas and Paul refer to matrimony as a sacrament, a holy mystery in which one man and one woman are joined together in conjugal union with the potential to be blessed by the grace of God with children, to start a family for the worship of God.

The definition of marriage is extremely important, and it is an issue that Christians should not and cannot compromise on, because the definition of marriage relates directly to the gospel itself.

We see in Ephesians chapter five, for example, that marriage is not just for procreation and also for a sanctification, this righteous outlet for human sexual desires, but it's also for illustration, this beautiful picture of the relationship between Jesus Christ and his bride, the church.

People will often argue in this debate, we know more about homosexuality now than we did then, maybe so, but are we really going to suggest that God knew less then than we know now?

And even if it did, it wouldn't matter. 2 ,000 years of Christian doctrine cannot be altered at the whim of a few liberal bishops.

What is God -ordained cannot be adjusted to suit our new liberal progressive views. Marriage is heterosexual and monogamous and should be open to the possibility of children.

The Bible backs all of this up. It's very clear throughout on this matter, whether it's nine verses or 32 ,000 verses, marriage is between one man and one woman for the purposes of procreation.

But it should not be to encourage people to continue to sin. Our duty as clerics is to help lead people to Christ, to lead them away from sin, not to embrace it, not to abhor it.

It is not a free for all. We must turn away from sin, repent and follow Christ. This is the key part of the gospel message that is not preached by so many of the most popular pastors in the world today.

Who is calling for the Quran to be updated to modern societal norms? It is the same patronizing attitude of people of other, that treat other faiths, patronize other faiths, while being intolerant towards Christians at the same time.
