- 00:00
- Hey guys, Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church, head of anabortionnow .com here today with two brothers who are out here ministering outside of the
- 00:07
- Orlando Women's Center. It's, I've mentioned before, a historic site for many of us who are involved in this fight.
- 00:14
- Back there you can see where John Barros is actually literally worn down the sidewalk being here for about 16 years preaching the gospel, saving thousands and thousands of lives.
- 00:24
- So, tell everyone your names. I'm TJ. And I'm Warren. Okay. And how long have you been doing this work?
- 00:31
- So, I've actually started coming out here about 2019 in October. Saw the video,
- 00:38
- Babies Are Still Murdered Here, and saw that John was here and I came down here and met him and he just inspired me to, you know, want to do this type of ministry and he's just been such a blessing to me and my family, so.
- 00:55
- Praise God. Thank you. Right on hand. Yeah, and for me, I saw the video also and that really inspired me to want to come down here and be a part of what was going on.
- 01:04
- So, I've been doing this for about five years now. Five years? Five or six years, yeah. So, Babies Are Murdered Here you saw?
- 01:10
- Yeah. Yes. Yes. Okay. So, and I used to come more regularly than I do because of my job.
- 01:16
- I just fill in here and there right now. Okay. But, yeah, it's, we're out here to warn the women of this place.
- 01:23
- The record is atrocious to this place. I mean, we can't believe people come here with all the health issues that come from this place.
- 01:32
- They've already shut down three clinics and they're working on this one. Okay. And so, we're warning the women and we're also just offering the help and hope, place they can go.
- 01:44
- Okay. So, you guys have been out here and you've obviously seen John's ministry and his testimony of faithfulness.
- 01:52
- All the thousands of children have been saved, but you've been coming out preaching the gospel, offering help. So, have you seen any children saved from your work out here?
- 02:01
- Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. We've actually been going back and forth with this beautiful young Haitian woman.
- 02:08
- She's a beautiful young girl. She's single, but was here to actually kill her baby.
- 02:15
- And while John and I were down here, we got the ability to witness God move through her heart and transform her, and the baby, she'll be delivering the baby here in a couple of weeks.
- 02:28
- Praise God. Yeah. Right on. Yeah. And just today, we saw a girl take a pamphlet and go to Choices, which is a crisis pregnancy center that we refer them to.
- 02:38
- And we called and verified. She went down there and she's getting the help that she needed. And we saw another woman walk out during the preaching and just got out of here and left.
- 02:47
- So, that's two and just one day. Right. So, there's seven days in a week. Yeah. How many days a week are they doing killing here?
- 02:55
- Let's see. Six. Yeah. Six days a week of killing. John said it used to be seven, but now it's six. Yeah. So, you have six days a week of killing.
- 03:04
- You guys are here one day, and you see two potential saves in one day. Yeah. How does it make you feel?
- 03:09
- Like, what does it do to you when you think, because I know my own experience what it does to me knowing
- 03:14
- I was there one day, I saw God save one or two or three children. What's that do to you when you know that I was here and through us being here,
- 03:23
- God saved these children's lives? Yeah. How does that impact you? Yeah. I would say for me, you know, it's evident that it's not just saying you're pro -life.
- 03:35
- And it's really getting out there and being proactive and taking the gospel to the streets and to these clinics because God moves, and God moves through many different ways and people and, you know, it's been a blessing to myself and to my family to witness to that down here and through Apologia, the impact that God has made, and through John.
- 04:02
- And yeah, it's really changed my thinking of I'm in real estate. And I come down here every
- 04:11
- Friday with John, and I wish I could do it every day, to be honest.
- 04:17
- And I would like to try to figure out ways to make that happen because it's difficult. Yeah. Once you witness this and God really moves through people, it's tough to step away.
- 04:28
- Right. When you know that because you were here, lives were saved. Yeah. I would say it is really encouraging.
- 04:34
- Just feel like you get wind in your sails. You know, you feel it just really pumps you up, and it's a really cool thing to do that.
- 04:43
- And we're just, and like TJ was referring to, you can tell it's a work of God because it's really nothing we do.
- 04:50
- You know, sometimes it seems like we're fighting and fighting and battling, standing up, and then it just happens, and it's like it's so instant, so quick, so easy.
- 05:00
- You know, the one girl that came here today, she walked up. TJ talked to her a little bit.
- 05:06
- She came over and got a pamphlet from me and left, and all we did was warn her about the record of this place.
- 05:12
- And you know that God had to be working on that girl's heart before she even got here. Yes. Yeah.
- 05:19
- What would you say just briefly to Christians who are watching this right now? This seems a daunting task.
- 05:27
- There's a lot of fear associated with coming out and putting yourself out there, putting your face out there, maybe being attacked out here, yelled at, vilified, maybe people finding out where you work, that you do this kind of work.
- 05:40
- What would you say to them to convince them that they need to be here? Yeah. Personally, I would say, you know,
- 05:47
- God has spoken in His Word and calls us to protect His babies inside the womb and to give the gospel to them.
- 06:02
- You know, with me, I would say that it's, at the beginning,
- 06:10
- I didn't really, really understand it until you come out here.
- 06:16
- I would say, if you are watching this, that, you know, give it a chance.
- 06:22
- Come out here, and don't be scared. Don't allow the flesh to hold you there, because that's what
- 06:28
- Satan wants, and allow the Spirit to move through you, and come out to these abortion mills, and you will witness
- 06:36
- God move in a very powerful way, more than you ever will.
- 06:41
- God has used you as the means to save lives. Is it worth your whole life?
- 06:48
- Is it worth it? 100%. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. And I would say, you know, get people praying behind you.
- 06:56
- I know that John will give almost all the credit to just the prayer ministry here, you know, that there's so many thousands of people that pray for him over Facebook and all, and that's a big thing.
- 07:09
- And just that, you know, it's a battle, but you come out here, but you want to be obedient to God, because that's the best place for you to be.
- 07:17
- That's the safest place for you to be. And you know, you really live out your Christianity here, because, you know, you're reading the
- 07:23
- Bible about, you know, being persecuted, or, you know, made fun of, or mocked, or whatever, and most of us, you know, just living our ordinary lives don't even come across that.
- 07:33
- But when you come out here, and you stand up for what's right in the face of evil, you know, they're going to mock you, and, you know, humiliate you sometimes, but, you know, that's good.
- 07:42
- He just threw a bottle of water at your head today. He did. Yeah, he missed. Missed. Praise God. Yeah, that's right.
- 07:48
- Yeah. And I had a guy, we had a guy over here that threatened to put me away. I said, go ahead, man,
- 07:54
- I'm ready. So he opened his car door, and he was going to reach in his car for something, but the lady that was with him said, no, no, don't do that.
- 08:00
- And so he didn't, but he was the same guy that threw water at him. But just some of these guys, they're cowards, and they've got to try to act like a man somehow, you know?
- 08:12
- Yeah. I was really, I guess the last thing I'll say on this, coming here today, and I was really looking forward to just being here to see this, and just experience more of God's people being faithful out here.
- 08:25
- You never get over the emotional impact of being here, and even while we were getting set up, seeing two girls being carried out by their men, you know, stumbling out of here who just, you know, killed their babies or attempted to kill their babies.
- 08:40
- You can never really get over that emotional impact, and I always relish moments like this because it's just a reminder once again about what's actually happening here.
- 08:50
- I think a lot of times, all of us, we're only human, we're fallible, we can lose sight of the context and not comprehend what's happening daily in our neighborhoods, and just being here has been just so, such a thrill for me to see more faithful people out here preaching the gospel, to see you guys ministering so effectively, to see the place where he's worn down the sidewalk, and then also just to be reminded that every day in our neighborhoods across this nation, there are women stumbling out of locations like this that have literally killed their child, and their children, their lives have been ended.
- 09:26
- It's over, and there's no coming back, but there's Christians out here saving lives, preaching the gospel, offering help, and it's saving children, and I know that everyone sees our ministry, and they see that we're consistently doing this.
- 09:42
- A lot of people are saying, yay, praise God, we're praying for you, you're such an encouragement, but wouldn't you agree with me?
- 09:48
- We need them, either out here on the street with us, or in the background, buying the materials, or offering financial help, or ready to adopt, you know, it's another aspect too, we can talk all day long about criminalizing and ending abortion, but if we don't get serious about adopting these children, who will be born once it's illegal, or who are born now, we're not going to be effective.
- 10:15
- There's so much Christians can do right now, even in terms of, let's show the world how serious we are about life, let's empty out the orphanages, let's take all those children, you know what
- 10:25
- I mean? I mean, we're always saying out here, we'll adopt your children, and we mean it, and we do, like my church is filled with adopted children,
- 10:34
- I have an adopted son who was going to be killed through abortion, but I think we need to be more serious about that, holistic perspective says, yeah, yeah, we'll take the children, look, we've already done it, that's how serious we are about this, so I'm saying, if you can't stand out here, well then pay for someone to stand out here, you know what
- 10:52
- I mean? Pay for them to stand out, pay for the materials, pay for the medical stuff, or adopt the children, you know, there's something we can all do to focus in upon this, to end this once and for all.
- 11:01
- Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you guys for your faithfulness. Yeah. Hey, thank you. Thank you guys.
