- 00:00
- All right. Well, I've got a new style of video to announce.
- 00:05
- It's going to be a parody of Gospel Coalition. And what I'm doing is
- 00:10
- I'm using ChatGPT to write braindead Gospel Coalition takes about ridiculous topics that if you didn't know it was
- 00:20
- ChatTGC or GPT, you would think it was TGC. ChatTGC. And I've got to be honest with you.
- 00:26
- I'm not convinced that Gospel Coalition authors haven't been using AI to write their stupid articles for years.
- 00:32
- I mean, they've used Docent Research Group. Why not ChatTGC? GPT. See, it even sounds the same.
- 00:38
- ChatGPT. So today is my first one. It's an article about preferred pronouns using
- 00:44
- ChatGPT and a little twist with it. And I hope you enjoy it.
- 00:50
- God bless. Hello. Welcome to Thinking Winsomely, a
- 01:01
- ChatTGC podcast. You know, as a lifelong conservative
- 01:06
- Christian with conservative values, I've often been troubled by the way that the church leads from behind.
- 01:16
- So often the world is getting big questions of morality and showing solidarity and empathy with abused minority groups.
- 01:26
- The world is often ahead of the church and can teach the church so much. Like Eric Mason said, the great
- 01:33
- Eric Mason, in his book Woke Church, Jay -Z the rapper was miles ahead of the church when it came to identifying with race relations and improving race relations in our country.
- 01:46
- So often it's conservative Christians that have been a force for evil. But we do want to give credit where credit is due.
- 01:55
- And to be honest, it is warming my heart to see how the church has showed solidarity with those using preferred pronouns.
- 02:06
- And yes, we should have been on the cutting edge of this kind of moral change in our culture.
- 02:11
- But, you know, we don't want to necessarily disregard the fact that we have caught up in many branches of Christianity where preferred pronouns are now commonplace to use, pronoun hospitality.
- 02:25
- But I think that I found a way for the church to lead, take our proper position and lead the nation and the pagans in morality instead of the other way around, which always happens throughout the history of the church.
- 02:39
- Think of slavery, think of LGBT issues, think of feminism. The church is always lacking and lagging behind the world in terms of getting morality right.
- 02:49
- But I've got a way we can be pioneers. The usage of indefinite pronouns.
- 02:57
- That's right, nobody's really talking about indefinite pronouns when it comes to preferred pronouns in the pronoun hospitality discussion.
- 03:05
- But I want you to know that anybody is somebody.
- 03:12
- Nobody's even somebody, but they're also nobody. And that's the thing. We're not used to the usage of indefinite pronouns to talk about individuals because, quite frankly, that seems to be a contradiction.
- 03:25
- But I'm here to tell you that there is an abused minority in the country today and it is those who identify with indefinite pronouns.
- 03:33
- I've got a little list here that I want you to consider. Those who identify with these pronouns.
- 03:40
- Nobody, somebody, none, several, someone, one, some, such.
- 03:45
- These are pronouns that really nobody's talking about. Not even the most moral of our pagan moral leaders is talking about it.
- 03:54
- But there are some that identify with pronouns some, such, or no one.
- 04:00
- I'm sorry, not no one. I guess it would be someone, somebody, nobody, none.
- 04:07
- None such. Have you ever heard of a none such? I have. And the thing is the church can be pioneers.
- 04:13
- We can empathize and celebrate those individuals who identify with the pronouns none such.
- 04:22
- Let me read a little article that I wrote. And this is,
- 04:29
- I want you to really think about this because remember nobody is somebody but also nobody.
- 04:36
- As Christians we are called to love and serve all people regardless of their differences or beliefs.
- 04:42
- One group of individuals who may be seeking our support and solidarity are those who would choose to identify,
- 04:49
- I'm sorry, to use indefinite pronouns as a way of expressing their gender identity.
- 04:56
- Indefinite pronouns. This can be a difficult issue for many Christians to navigate as some may see the use of indefinite pronouns as a rejection of God's created order.
- 05:06
- However, as followers of Christ we must remember that our primary calling is to love and to care for those around us even if we disagree with them on certain issues.
- 05:16
- One way we can show solidarity with those who choose to use indefinite pronouns is by taking the time to listen to their stories and struggles.
- 05:25
- We should seek to understand their experiences and the reasons behind their choices rather than simply dismissing them out of hand.
- 05:32
- Additionally, we can demonstrate our support by using the indefinite pronouns that individuals have requested for themselves.
- 05:40
- While this may feel uncomfortable or even wrong at first it is important to remember that our words have power to either build up or tear down those around us.
- 05:51
- Choosing to use indefinite pronouns that someone has requested is a simple way to show respect and care for them as a person created in God's image.
- 06:01
- Ultimately, our goal as Christians should be to create a community where all are welcome and valued regardless of their differences and struggles.
- 06:10
- By pioneering solidarity with those who choose to use indefinite pronouns we can demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible and meaningful way and help to build a world that more closely resembles the
- 06:27
- Kingdom of God. Church, brothers, sisters in Christ, I implore you, let's be pioneers.
- 06:36
- Let's be on the cutting edge of gender morality and pronoun hospitality and the next time you see someone who identifies as a none -such or maybe nobody -somebody or maybe other -several don't crack jokes, don't talk about God's created order.
- 06:58
- Look, he knows he's in God's created order and he is made in the image of God. I mean, when
- 07:04
- I say he, none, none -such is made in the image of God.
- 07:10
- None -such, other -several, some. Whatever some goes by, whatever some goes by, that's what you ought to empathize with and celebrate and be happy to refer to such none -somebody as anybody if that's what anybody chooses.
- 07:32
- We can be pioneers. We don't have to lead from behind. I am a conservative
- 07:37
- Christian and as I search the scriptures, I see that preferred pronouns are celebrated in the scriptures.
- 07:44
- Celebrated, I say. No more lagging behind the pagans.
- 07:52
- The pagans have, quite frankly, embarrassed the church so many times and it's about time that we took our proper place as prophets and judges and leaders.
- 08:05
- That's our heritage as conservative Christians. That's our heritage and I will not stand idly by and let unbelievers take our heritage to be pioneers, to be empathetic with anybody's none -such, nobody -other -someones.
- 08:25
- May God bless you. And remember, anybody is somebody.
- 08:32
- Even nobody is somebody. Also nobody. And remember to think winsomely.
