1st Place 2011 Video Contest

Back in the past, about a year ago, is when I first stumbled upon GotQuestions .org and I submitted

my first question.

I have been wondering for many years, how was it fair that a righteous 20 -year -old man who has been saved

all of his life and a sinful 80 -year -old man who had just been saved

both get to go to heaven?

After receiving an amazing response, I was hooked.

Shortly after submitting my first questions, I had started dating Mariah.

It was at this moment where I soon realized that I had not understood a lot about what the Bible said in

concerning with relationships.

So after telling Mariah about GotQuestions .org, she and I began reading and searching for questions such as,

What does the Bible say about premarital sex?

Is it wrong for couples to live together before marriage?

How can I know if I'm in love?

And how will I know if I've found the perfect spouse for me?

The answers to these questions just amazed us because they had such a great biblical foundation and really put into

perspective on how a godly person's actions should be.

I've grown up in church all my life, but I too had some questions of my own such as, What does the Bible say

about marriage? And what does the Bible say about adoption?

Some other questions I had are, Is there such a thing as a soulmate? And does God have one specific

person for you?

What are the roles of a godly father and mother? And should a Christian date a non -Christian?

Overall, GotQuestions .org has helped us come closer with one another.

And more importantly, closer to God as individuals.

And as a couple.
