Welcome to the Got Questions podcast, I'm Shea Hoodman, the president and founder of Got Questions Ministries, and you might be wondering, why is

Got Questions doing a podcast? Does the world really need another podcast? Let me tell you that over the past 10, 15 years, a podcast is the number one request that we have received for an aspect of the ministry that we're not already doing.
00:50
So be careful what you ask for. So we are going to give this whole podcasting thing a try.
00:57
What's our goal for the podcast? Simple, to do the same thing we do on our website, to answer questions biblically, to take the most frequently asked questions, the most important questions, the most interesting questions, and provide a solid biblically -based answer.
01:13
So the format of the show, pretty simple. I will most likely be hosting the show most of the time, but we'll also be having some guests.
01:21
Kevin, our managing editor, and Jeff, the administrator of our Bible Ref Commentary site will be joining me a lot of times, but we're also going to have an occasional guest speaker, an expert on certain subjects, something to give a little more insight or maybe a more comprehensive understanding of something.
01:40
When Jeff, Kevin, and I are on the show, we'll kind of approach it from the perspective of Jeff is more of an apologist.
01:46
He's someone who is really into defending the Christian faith, upholding the inerrancy and authority of God's Word.
01:53
Kevin is a pastor and definitely has the pastoral approach. We'll be answering from more of a practical perspective than me.
02:02
I guess I'm the theologian of the group, but we'll see. So there it is. That's the goal and purpose.
02:10
The mission of the Got Questions podcast is to provide yet another venue where we can answer questions biblically.
02:16
So tune in next week for episode one. I guess I'm calling this one episode zero, but it's basically an introduction to what the podcast is supposed to be all about.
02:26
So stay tuned. We'll keep you updated. You can find out about the schedule at podcast .gotquestions
