- This is Andy Cain. It's a joy to be back with you once again. Today we are looking at Psalm 119 verse 1.

- It says, How blessed are those whose way is blameless or having integrity, who walk in the law of Yahweh or in the law of the

- Lord. Notice here that this Psalm puts a great emphasis on the fact that if you want to be blessed, if you want it to be said that you are a blessed person, true blessedness comes from the righteousness that we not only receive in justification and in salvation, but also in the living out of this righteousness that Christ gives us.

- It is walking in this blameless way. It's walking or conducting yourself in submission to the law of the

- Lord and submission to scripture. This word walk here in verse 1, now obviously there's places in scripture that the word literally means walking with your two feet upright, but also a lot of times in context, in certain contexts, the word walk will mean the old

- King James English is the conversation of your life, the way you conduct your life. This is about the habitual pattern of your life.

- The blessed person patterns their life. It's not just a pattern in the sense of, you know, you're just trying to kind of reach a goal and if you kind of get halfway there, it's okay.

- No, this patterning, this walking is a consistent submission to scripture.

- You won't be able to do it in sinless perfection. Obviously we still reside in sinful flesh, but you will be able to grow in your consistency in walking in this righteousness.

- And so I encourage you today, if you want to be blessed, if you want to be thought of as a blessed person, you need to be walking blamelessly, righteously, and you can do so by walking in submission and obedience to the law of Yahweh, of the
