Babylonian captivity that we saw Jeremiah warn about and give judgment about and what we see in this is a lot of, well some people say confusion, it seems like it's all over the place and the reason that it seems so perplexing is because there's a lot of future prophecy in here, there is a lot of things that is picturesque judgments that God gives for Ezekiel, he has to do many things like eating a scroll and he talks about these four faced angels, so there's a lot of things in here that people seem to have difficulty with interpretation, which is always going to be the case with future prophecy.

Now, Ezekiel is in the captivity during a time when he is writing about the judgment that was prophesied would come, now has come, and this book though, it talks a lot about judgment, really it is offering a future hope, but that hope was not today for Israel, no they were going to go through those 70 year captivity, but a lot of it is a future hope of what we will see and we call that the second coming of Jesus Christ and that is what
