- New Testament, we realize this is not something we can do alone, by ourselves, or even just with our families.

- No, we must be about the business of gathering together as saints to serve one another.

- I mentioned already that God gives us spiritual gifts so that we can use them in His ordained purpose, was for the service to one another within the body of believers that we call the church.

- Now, the church is not a place we go, it is an entity, it is the people of God that make up the church.

- And when we look at the church, and people say they can do this at home, there's some things that we often see lacking.

- For example, when we look at church, we are to establish leaders, pastors and deacons.

- If you do not have pastors and deacons established, then you're not set up the way

- God ordained the church. God ordained a leadership. And when you worship, supposedly, at home, with your family, with a few friends, that are not established as a church where you have leadership, where you have those that provide spiritual guidance for the congregation, then you do not have church.

- And one of the things that we're going to see is that we need leaders for a church. We're going to see tomorrow that we also need to practice the ordinances to be part of a church.
