Sal piccolo I'm with abolish abortion Pennsylvania I'm just going to tell you why we're here and introduce our first speaker it's pretty simple

God's justice demands that we call abortion murder and that all children are given equal protection under the law from the moment of fertilization no exceptions no compromises that's why we're here so does that mean abortion in Pennsylvania ends today no but today is the beginning of the end amen all right our first speaker is a local pastor from Independence Reform Bible Church pastor

Joel St. shall we pray

Lord God the great providential ruler of all the earth the one who is supreme the one who we will all answer to at one point whether we are a civil magistrate or not

Oh Lord God may you be honored by what happens today and we ask the

Lord by your grace mercy and power that this horrific tide of evil that we've been awash in for the last 48 years would come to an end we are so ashamed today to stand before you we think of Ezra and Nehemiah as they stood before you after all the horrible sins that the children of Israel and Judah had committed and that's us today

Oh Lord but we stand before you today asking for mercy and grace on you on our behalf and we have no place else to go for mercy and grace but your son the

Lord Jesus and we thank you for him today we ask you today Oh Lord God that you would strengthen your people and that those who hate your favorite creation people would absolutely be destroyed from the face of the earth may they be like chaff which the wind drives away we asked in his name of Christ our

Savior and Lord amen three things

I want to say briefly I want to talk briefly about the responsibility of the civil magistrate we're here in front of the

Capitol the responsibility the civil magistrate is to glorify God the responsibility of the churchmen to rebuke wicked rulers and the responsibility of everyone else to not believe lies

I love what Sal said earlier it's a human being from the moment of conception listen my friends anyone who tells you it's anything else is lying to you and Jesus Christ when he spoke to the scribes of Pharisees there in in John 8 he forever connected lying and murder he said you were of your father the devil he was a father of lies and he was a murderer from the beginning if you find a liar you'll find a murderer from the words of Jesus Christ and we've been told all kinds of things about abortion here all lies choice

I remember arguing back in the day oh we don't know when conception begins well now we know and we're killing them anyway shame on us the responsibility of the magistrate to glorify

God you remember in Acts chapter 12 I won't read it all here in front of me but you remember

Herod you might remember this here's what happened on a set day Herod arrayed in royal peril sat on his throne and gave an oration to his people and the people kept shouting the voice of a

God and not a man what had happened was the people got hungry and they were being fed from Herod's larder if you will and so they did what any person would do right they made friends with it with Herod's Chamberlain because don't you know they weren't going to eat unless Herod said they could what does that sound like but what happened is this then immediately an angel the

Lord struck him because he did not give glory to God and was eaten by worms and died did you hear that he was struck because he didn't glorify

God and he doesn't get the excuse why I'm not an Israelite I don't believe in that God no

Herod your job is to glorify God it doesn't matter what you believe your job is a glorify

God he was struck with worms because he did not glorify God and every single legislator in this building governors all of them their responsibility is to glorify

God amen next the responsibility of the churchmen

John the Baptist had some things to say to the religious people of his day but it wasn't just the churchmen listen to what he did it says that Herod the

Tetrarch being rebuked by him concerning Herodias his brother Philip's wife and for listen to this and for all the evils which

Herod had done also added this above all that he shut John up in prison did you hear what we just said here

Luke is telling us here that John the Baptist was a problem for a wicked king let me ask you something are today's churchmen a problem for wicked kings

I'll tell you what if I see another you know photo op at the prayer breakfast with pastors hugging wicked rulers it's going to make me even sicker than I already am

I just wonder if God feels the same oh I know how God feels about that the churchmen have a responsibility as John did to rebuke wicked rulers can you imagine a case where wicked rulers look at the pastors and say that's a problem rather than that's nothing to worry about John the

Baptist was a problem to a wicked king what a man and Jesus Christ said of all the men born he is the greatest up to that time and one more thing about this too we hear it all the time

Jesus never rebuked yeah he didn't have any do with the political leaders get your concordance out and check every time he had something to say to the

Herodians yeah that's it so not enough is nonsense that Christ doesn't speak to the political powers he did all the time but the problem is you don't want to believe it because it costs too much it's the responsibility of the of the so of the churchmen to rebuke wicked civil magistrates finally then the responsibility of everyone else stop believing lies this next part

I'm going to read from the Prophet Jeremiah who has an awful lot to say to us today Jeremiah says because of all the evil children of Israel the children of Judah which they have done to provoke me to anger now listen to this next part their kings their princes their priests their prophets the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and I know it's a favorable thing it's a in style thing to blame our politicians but you know what

Jeremiah here names them all and I don't know how often it's happened it's happened in history but most of the time you get bad leaders from bad people that's the way it works most of the time and that's exactly what

Jeremiah is saying here and this is what he says later there earlier in the book he says this is your lot the portion of your measures for me says the

Lord because you have forgotten me and trusted in falsehood trusted in falsehood

I ask you that this morning my friends are you in a position either you or your children where you're in a position to have to trust in falsehood

Jeremiah says trusting in falsehood is the same as forgetting God where are your children being educated where are you going to church are you forced to listen to falsehoods stop it stop doing that because if you're listening to falsehood today my friends you are part of the problem and not part of the solution this is serious business finally then as I wrap up how important is this discussion today how important is what we're doing

I want you to listen to the chronicler in second Kings and will and I'll be finished and introduce the next speaker listen to this surely at the commandment of the

Lord this came upon Judah to remove them from his sight because of the sins of Manasseh according to all that he had done what were the sins of Manasseh also because of the innocent blood that he had shed for he had filled

Jerusalem with innocent blood which the Lord would not pardon

I don't know of any other language quite like that at all scripture God hates innocent blood he hates it and he said and this was after the revival under Josiah he said

I'm going to get rid of these people because I hate innocent blood that much my friends this is serious business that were engaged in here this horror of abortion is a stench in the nostrils of Almighty God and he will have his way we have one chance we must run to his son we must pray to him for mercy

Lord's provided for so so good to have you all here and I spoke with somebody that came all the way from Tennessee and there may be some some others back here from Pittsburgh and and and all across the all across many states and so thank you guys for being here thank you for your support and and and what what we need to do and are trying to accomplish here

I want to thank Sal for your work and putting all of this together thank you so much appreciate it also my gratitude goes to Zach and Dennis and the whole team for all the work you're doing across the country not only here in Pennsylvania so I want to I want to just I want to just start out with I'm gonna just start out with reading

Psalms 139 13 through 16 and I know you guys all know this but when when you read this there's so much in here and it's really all about who all of us are who the unborn are and and it's really there's not a question that this is from conception this is there's not a question that this is from conception until God calls us home but here goes

Psalms 139 13 through 16 for you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother's womb

I praise you because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful I know that full well my frame was not hidden from you when

I was made in the secret place when I was woven together in the depth of the earth your eyes saw my unformed body all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be what powerful powerful words and Leviticus we

Leviticus 20 it talks about warns about the punishments that will come because of child sacrifice is abortion today not the same as child sacrifice and Leviticus is that the modern day modern day child sacrifice really well let's talk about legalization being are this legislation being introduced first off does everyone know that in Pennsylvania abortion is legal up to 24 weeks and there's a number of accounts in recent times where you know little little babies at 20 weeks of age have survived so so even while the laws differ from state to state we must we must change we must make a difference so what we're doing is calling this the

Equal Justice Act and it's still a work in progress but we made a lot of a lot of progress just this past week

I have a great research team been getting lots of help from the team here as well and I'm delighted about what what we're going to be introducing so do you all know that the vehicle that paved the way for Roe v.

Wade was actually the classification of the unborn so in other words back then the born and unborn were classified differently and that paved the way to have

Roe v. Wade become law this legislation classifies the unborn the same as the born the bill gives the unborn protection in the

Pennsylvania Constitution and that folks is what's going to make all the difference if we can get it into the

Pennsylvania Constitution and that's ultimately what this bill does we all know the unborn and the born all created by God in his image they deserve the same identity they deserve the same equal protection and that's you know just echoing some of Sal's words in the opening it's what it's all about what

I want to do is kind of just end with some of what's going to be in the co -sponsor memo for you folks that are not as familiar with how all this legislation process works we draft the bill we put it out for co -sponsors to sign on and the co -sponsors would be my fellow house members can sign on as co -sponsors extremely important that we get some co -sponsors on the bill and and to do that we put this co -sponsor memo out so they know what's what's coming and what what what's in what's included in the bill itself and then the bill needs you know

I'll need to go to committee fortunately a bill like this will go to the Health Committee it's a committee that that that I'm on and we have great a great committee chair many of you know

Kathy Rapp from from the West Northwest part of the state great friend and all about pro -life and and so I'm convinced we can get it passed out of the

Health Committee the next challenge then would be the House floor and after that it moves to the Senate it'll go into health health committee over in the

Senate we need to get it through that that committee and then out on the Senate floor and then we have from there we have to battle with it with the governor so let me just let me just read a couple of the or a small piece

I will have in the co -sponsor memo itself so acknowledging the sanctity of innocent human life created in the image of God which should be equally protected from fertilization to natural death the purpose of this act is to ensure that the right to life and equal protection of the laws to all unborn children from the motive moment of fertilization to establish that a living human unborn child from the moment of fertilization and at every stage of development is entitled to the same rights powers and privileges as are secured or granted by the laws of this

Commonwealth to any other human person I think that says it all but here's here's how

I want to end guys thank you here's how

I want to end this this this kind of bill all of you know the enemy does not like and there's going to be tremendous pressure not on me but on on on those that that are going to support this effort right here in Harrisburg and all the way through this process guys we need your prayers we need your support going forward if we're going to get this accomplished but this is the beginning this is the start so every every every good thing start somewhere and we're on the right track

Darren stood on the assistant national director of operations save America and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to be with you all today on a share a quick story with you about a conversation

I just heard between Pastor Joe and Sal over here Pastor Joe got done speaking he went over and Sal said good job

Pastor Joe said thanks was that five minutes and Sal said no pastor so we got five minutes to talk up here and I've never said anything in my life in five minutes so I'm going to try to get to work here really quick I want to share with you just really quickly this morning

I'm thankful for apology at church I'm thankful for action for life you guys can you got a problem with having

Presbyterians at a rally it's okay to clap and yell it's all right amen that's right where's the

Baptist at that's right we got some here how many of them are reformed

Baptist though see that's a different thing all right good good I'm that's right they're at the pub yeah

I'm also thankful for abolish abortion Pennsylvania abolish abortion PA Sal pick alone and I'm thankful for this state representative right here being willing to be a man of courage and stand up for this bill

I want to share with you guys just really quickly today four reasons we need to build abolish abortion in Pennsylvania four reasons the first reason we need a bill of equal justice here in Pennsylvania is because a bill of equal justice establishes the standard for the sanctity of human life for far too long in places like Pennsylvania and states all over the country politicians have been able to behave like and pretend like they're for the pre -born and then compromise on half measures that ultimately don't save any babies the reason we need a bill of full equal justice in Pennsylvania is because we need to demonstrate through legislation that's being proposed what the actual standard is before God of what it looks like to actually defend and protect preformed pre -born babies here's the thing about laws laws do a lot of things laws established good standards for punishment and so forth but you know the

Bible also teaches that laws inform the conscience the law is a teacher and unfortunately for far too long in the

United States of America we Christians have been proposing and advocating for legislation that teach people that babies at various different gestations are less than human and do not deserve protection and so we need a law to be proposed in Pennsylvania that demands equal justice and establishes the actual standard for the safety of human life so that from this point forward once this law is proposed here in Pennsylvania every other law that's proposed that comes to less than this piece of legislation does not count as actual defense of the safety of human life that's the first reason we need this bill the second reason we need this bill is because it exposes the false promises and lies of the political establishment for far too long in places like Pennsylvania Indiana where I'm from in places like Texas where we have many we have many legislators that run and make lots of promises about what they're going to do for the pre -born and so forth when they're running for political office but then when they actually get in their seat they do nothing for the pre -born and the time has come for that to stop when you propose a bill like this that actually establishes true justice and actually protects pre -born babies it separates the boys from the men it shows us who actually has a desire to protect pre -born children and who's just trying to get elected and it is incumbent and important upon the

Christians in the state of Pennsylvania to get behind this bill and to let the people that come to this building every day know we will settle for nothing less the third reason we need a bill of equal justice in Pennsylvania is because it shows the futility of the practice of regulating abortion it shows the futility of the practice of regulating abortion how long since Roe vs.

Wade has passed how many babies have been slaughtered since then how much blood has been shed since then how much success if we add actually protecting children since then the blood of innocent children runs red in our streets while we continue to vote for people that say that they're going to protect the pre -born and they pass these half measures that regulate abortion rather than putting it into it and in the meantime the abortion industry continues to find a workaround so that they can keep murdering babies because let me teach you something about economics as long as there is a desire for a service the people that provide that service will find a way to do so until it is abolished legislative half measures that seek to regulate abortion do you know who they benefit more than anybody else

Planned Parenthood you know what you know what legislation that seeks to regulate abortion does it puts

Planned Parenthood competitors out of business and that's all that it does and it allows

Planned Parenthood to continue to grow it allows them to continue to open new facilities where they can spend more money and build nicer buildings where they can more quickly and efficiently slaughter children because our laws are telling them the best way to go about doing it we need a bill of equal justice to demonstrate the futility of the practice of regulating abortion finally we need a bill of equal justice to provide something tangible for the

Christians in the state of Pennsylvania to rally around you see this brother right here is doing a lot of the heavy lifting the next session is going to be very hard for him as a political establishment gets exposed and he stands up in bravery and demands equal justice it's going to be a difficult session for him but he is not the only one that has action that needs to be taken here it is incumbent upon every person that stands on this platform right here today and every

Christian all throughout the state of Pennsylvania to get behind this legislation to promote it to mobilize their brothers and sisters in Christ to pray to gather petitions to come before the throne of God's grace and to rise up against every half measure say that's not enough and demand equal justice we need the

Christians in Pennsylvania to rally around this bill and it is a tangible thing that Christians can rally around and say this is something that we can stand for this is something we can get behind I want to just say this in closing on my way when

I was leaving Indiana to come out here today I got a message from a friend of mine he said why Pennsylvania like of all the places in the country why would you why are you guys going to Pennsylvania and proposing a bill there you know like Pennsylvania is kind of a purple state you know goes back and forth between red and blue it's a swing state and many people look at states like Pennsylvania and think well we need to focus our attention in places like Alabama and Mississippi and Texas and Oklahoma and I say yes let's put our time energy money effort into places like Mississippi Texas Alabama Oklahoma we need to be strategic in our thinking but I also know this when

I read the Word of God I see over and over and over again that God tends to do things in such a way that only he can receive honor glory and praise for it and I don't know what state will cross that line first and establish true justice for the pre -born

I don't know which one it'll be but I would not be surprised to see it be a place like Pennsylvania because if God makes abortion illegal in Pennsylvania through the rising up of his church here he can make it illegal anywhere and so I want to plead with you brothers today before I introduce my brother here

I want to plead with you brothers and sisters today don't just show up to this rally and have that be it these are four reasons we need this legislation and we need you to get behind this legislation in order for it to have any opportunity of working to the process

I want to introduce my brother and friend today Dennis Sarfate I'm thankful for him he's the president of action for life and probably one of the gross most gracious humble people that I've ever met in my life and I'm thankful for him and I want to bring him up and give him the opportunity to talk to you guys today good morning

Wow praise God for this turnout amazing weather we thank him for this

I'm gonna make up for the sins of my brothers and I'll be short because if you know my pastor if you know my pastor

Jeff Durbin you're gonna better bring snacks for those kids because we're gonna be here for a little bit longer so my name is

Dennis Sarfate president of red state reform action for life is our major group right now that we are going around nationwide getting legislation to end abortion not not end it after six weeks or ten weeks or twelve weeks end it completely as Christians we have to stand up and not applaud ourselves or or celebrate bills that do not bring justice to the pre -born

I might wear a suit but I'm just like all of you a believer in Christ and I want to end this atrocity

I'm asking you to support representative Zimmerman and his courage like he said earlier he is going to need your prayers that any any representative or senator that comes on to this bill as a co -sponsor is going to need our prayers and support so we thank you for today and you showing up just shows that as much so let's talk about it what recently happened in the house they just passed the bill yesterday that's probably not going to pass in the

Senate but they want to overturn all pro -life bills they want it to be the most grotesque bill ever that you can murder a baby full term that's what we're fighting against this is not you know

Christians fighting amongst whatever this is Satan and evil fighting against Christians and Christians have to take their sword up and fight this fight if we don't do it no one's gonna do it the church has been silent for far too long we've worked in 11 and 26 states this past year we had bills in 11 of them

Pennsylvania will be the first one this next cycle this is a movement that's happening like Sal said this is the start to the end we have to end it

I hope in my lifetime that I get to do it I tell my girls every day I steal it from Paul Washer but I go out there

I slay dragons for a living so how can you all of you from Pennsylvania here do your part not only prayers but we need you to reach out to your local magistrate your local state rep get them in on this bill get them to support representative

Zimmerman without that this bill ain't gonna be heard it's not it's gonna get killed we need to be bold do what

Sal did I think you went through a whole call list right he was just grabbed the yellow pages and went down through it now there's no yellow pages kids probably don't even know what that is but he went and called the state reps and mr.

Zimmerman answered that call now we must hold all of our local magistrates accountable if you don't know your local magistrate email me at and we'll we'll find it for you

I'll do the hard work I'll find it for you but thank you so much for coming out I praise God for this moment for Pennsylvania to stand up for the pre -born and I'm looking forward to doing it more here thank you

I'm gonna bring up Zach Lautenschlager thank you all for coming out my name is

Zach Lautenschlager I serve as vice president of action for life I've worked professionally in politics for nearly 25 years

I started right out of high school my dad actually ran for office when I was two I don't count that part as professional because it wasn't paid but I did work in politics working with my dad

I've been privileged to build the team that has passed controversial legislation in 21 states now that's constitutional carry

I am the past vice president of the National Association for gun rights and we had a lot of fun doing that and building it praise

God I want to tell you a story that my grandmother told me not too far from here 56 men pledged their lives fortunes and sacred honor the oldest man to sign the declaration was a delegate from New Jersey John Hart he served with John Witherspoon he signed the declaration on August 2nd 1776 you have to understand that just a month before that when they started the signature process the declaration was finally ready who was it was one of the first presidents of the

United States because you know that the president of the Continental Congress served as president of the country president the

Second Continental Congress was what's that the

Second Continental Congress John Hancock the man who signed the

Declaration of Independence and today you can go and look at the declaration in the National Archives and there is one signature that you can still read it is

John Hancock when he stood to sign it he said I am writing my name large that King George may read it without his spectacles and why do we say put your

John Henry here I need to John Hancock that is distinctly

American term and a direct reference to the Declaration of Independence now why did he say that because they knew they were signing a death warrants they knew very well that if the

British caught up with them in this war and you understand this is a bunch of farmers fighting the greatest military force on earth if the

British regulars caught up with them they would be dragged across the sea thrown in the hold of a ship they might die just on that voyage from maltreatment malnourishment if they made it to London they would be given a mock trial after being dragged through the streets hung by the neck but not until dead drawn which

I'll be delicate but it means being cut open basically from your chin to your belt you're not dead yet that's burned in front of you and then you are hacked limb from limb this is what was done to William Wallace this is what would likely have been done to the men who signed the

Declaration and that's why

Hancock made a little bit of a joke about it a little bit of bravado now what does it mean for them to have pledged their lives fortunes and sacred honor well we know what them to pledge their lives you know what that means we know what it means for them to pledge their fortunes sacred honor that's what they were talking about because after you're dead and killed in that painful and ignominious way a bill of attainder would be passed against your name making you a criminal and your children and your grandchildren multi -generational criminal record is what a bill of attainder is that's what they meant by their sacred honor if a bill of attainder is passed against your family name you cannot own property you cannot get a good job they were dooming their children and grandchildren potentially to poverty so John Hart the oldest man to sign the

Declaration goes home to Bear Tavern New Jersey to his 13 children some of whom are grown some of whom are still very young and at home and his wife who is on what would turn out to be her deathbed and he sat with her through the summer and fall of 1776 and the

British invaded New Jersey first they chased him out of his home he fled capture just as his wife left this earth she perished and the story is that he slipped out the back door as the

British marched up his driveway he lived outside for that entire winter not daring to sleep inside for fear of capture we don't know if he ever was united with all of his 13 children again shortly after that after holding a few small positions of trust

John Hart an old man broken in health from living outside being chased by the

British also left this earth in poverty however as a man who has 13 children is want to have

John Hart has millions of descendants today one of which is me my grandma used to sit me down and tell me that story and I'm six and she asks what are you going to do to defend the rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness

I don't know grandma I don't know how do you live up to that I thought a lot about it as I'm sure you can imagine the answer to the question is we don't have to by the grace of God and through the hard work and sacrifice of our forefathers we are blessed to live in a country where it is the easiest it is the simplest to change the way politics works if we fail at this our shame is greater than any other people in earth history to this point we may not stand by and watch millions of children perish every minute every minute that ticks by it is two to three children die in America you know how many a day in this country right now it is three thousand three thousand babies a day are being killed now our forefathers faced gruesome death sudden death on the battlefield poverty want hardship loss of family in order to bless us with a country in which we had the ability and still do we have the ability to change the law that is your task because whether or not you happen to have had ancestors here during the time our forefathers were picturing you what did they say why did they do that why would they suffer that much why would the wealthy

John Hancock one of the most wealthy man in America why would he give his fortune for the common people why to secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity that ladies and gentlemen is you it is the three thousand babies doomed to death today tomorrow the next day we have a duty not only to the memory of our forefathers not only to our children but we have a duty to both because we have the duty to God to stand against tyranny and what is the greatest tyranny a death penalty on the innocent there is no greater tyranny you do not have the rights to liberty or the pursuit of happiness if you are not born now some of you have signed this already here today can my petition people hold up their hold up their clipboards let me see you hold them up okay these guys have these petitions there's a petition for the

Pennsylvania Equal Justice Act I'm gonna lay it down if you are from Pennsylvania and you walk away from this rally without having signed this shame on you your forefathers are ashamed if you cannot take the time to sign a petition if you are afraid you're gonna get put on a list oh by the way the

NSA has already been listening to all of your conversation since the first day you had a phone if you don't think you're on a list what are you afraid of are you afraid the

British are going to show up and and arrest you Americans have already done that we beat them so sign this petition

I cannot tell you how many people come to a rally like this and then leave feeling good because oh good we did something and you didn't sign the petition you didn't do it blessed thing this is just the first step

I'm serious I see some of you walking away without signing this I got a baseball bat

I'm gonna leave you in the street down there I want to thank you all for coming

I want to thank you for your time and attention today while I'm I'm having a little fun with you

I recognize that coming out to an event like this is a bit of a sacrifice is it a sacrifice in the grand scheme of things no it's not it's kind of fun but I do recognize that there are other things that you could be doing right now and I want you to know how much

I appreciate how much of all of us appreciate you coming but this is just the very start you picture the tough drill sergeant or officer telling his men you have opportunities to accomplish great things today the battle is today but you haven't done a single thing yet that's true of all of us right now not on this issue this is where it starts you want to end abortion is that why you're here are you here to end abortion is anyone is anyone not here to end abortion

I want you to raise your hand okay no one's raising their hands that means you all are signing this you're all signing this

God bless you thank you for coming I want to introduce pastor Jeff Durbin all right brother thank you so much it's hard to follow that I promise not to hurt any of you like Zach it's uh it's actually an amazing thing to me when we think about where we're at as a nation and we think about the injustices all around us you have of course the premier injustice upon the pre -born human beings the innocent we're being threatened with death that's happening all across the country we're working in numerous states we have over 750 local churches around the nation now have arisen up they've gotten training from us and they've gotten equipped with everything and they're out now as the local churches standing in front of abortion mills every day saving children from death thousands upon thousands upon thousands of children are alive today because Christians just like you went with the gospel to their abortion facilities local to them preached the gospel loved those mothers and fathers offered help offered to adopt children and now thousands and thousands and thousands of children are alive today today alive that's not theory that's real because believers just like you committed to truly love their neighbor and to do something about it not to just keep it between the space of their ears

I believe this is murder and it needs to stop I believe God is angry over the slaughter of the innocent but they went out and did something about it

I love the fact that we're standing here in Pennsylvania yes there's other states we've worked in to speak to our legislators to preach the gospel to demand justice for the pre -born we have bills that have gone into numerous states now for equal protection that all human life would be preserved and all human life would be protected equally you are human and this cannot be disputed it cannot be refuted you are human from the moment of conception that is a biblical and biological fact it is irrefutable and so we're working for equal protection for all humans and I love that today we're in Pennsylvania yes there are other states who are filled maybe with more outspoken believers or people who would call themselves conservatives where it might make more sense to some to say let's get a bill into that state where we have a chance of getting it passed the kingdom of God grows through mustard seeds to large trees and this bill and praise

God for this hero which is what he is this bill is being put into the place that is one of the centers of all the great blessings of this great experiment

Pennsylvania if you look around here around the building would you say Zack where you at Zack they lose you there's scripture we're at Zack Zack how many there's scripture all over this this this place here right people can take tours here right where they can go around they can look at all the words that are imprinted into this building and this facility heritage tour

Monday morning nine o 'clock the point is is look this place stands as a monument to the glories of the

Christian worldview you do not have the great blessings of this nation apart from Jesus Christ I'm not giving you a motivational speech

I'm not a motivational speaker I'm minister of the gospel and I'm telling you the truth the blessings of this great nation came from the

Christian worldview you don't have the goodness and the justice that people celebrate about this nation and swear oaths to to defend apart from the

Word of God in the biblical worldview you can't walk around this building without seeing it as a monument to the biblical truths that gave rise to it and I want to just make sure we all understand something two ways two lanes one the gospel itself and the

Christian faith exploded into the world with some very confused disciples who had fairly recently just abandoned their

Lord even betrayed him and then this Lord says before he ascends into heaven to sit on his throne as king he says all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me that's by the way if you didn't catch it past tense and that took place in the first century

Jesus said that he already had all authority in heaven and on earth and he said on that basis he said go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the

Father and of the Son of the Holy Spirit and he said that we are to teach the nations to obey

Jesus make no mistake about it don't apologize for it that is the goal of the gospel take it or leave it you're either with me or you're against me

Jesus says and those very confused disciples who knew that Caesar was sitting nearby and would have had something to say about what

Jesus had just claimed those very confused disciples were a small group of Christians in a hostile pagan

Empire Caesar was Lord in their day

Caesar was Lord the Christian faith exploded into the world with a proclamation that Jesus is in fact

Lord over Caesar so when you hear the modern squishy evangelical in the

West say well Jesus doesn't have anything to say to that that's outside of the realm of the responsibility of the church they are showing that they are ignorant of the faith they don't know the gospel of the kingdom and they don't understand what the authority of Jesus Christ is because if you look in the book of Acts it doesn't take you long to discover that the early

Christians and the Apostles understood that this gospel was something that was authoritative over the heads of every single human being in the world when the

Apostle Paul put this down for a second I guess I don't need it it's all in here you should get it in there too when the

Apostle Paul was speaking at the Areopagus which was the place of philosophical debate discussion in his day

I believe is being brought up on formal charges in Acts 17 at Mars Hill he preached the gospel in a way that doesn't sound like we often do as modern

Western evangelicals after he proclaims Christ he said and now God commands men everywhere to repent

God commands men everywhere to repent the gospel for the

Apostle Paul as he proclaimed that if we want to proclaim it like him he said that the gospel was a command and it was a command to everybody because God has appointed a day of judgments and he's raised

Jesus Christ from the dead as vindication of the fact that he truly is the Messiah and there will be a day of judgment and so he says

God commands men everywhere to repent and the early Christians when they were coming into contact with the ruling authorities of their day they were commanded by the ruling authorities to obey and stop preaching in his name and they said we must obey

God rather than men the Christian Church is the

OG government resistance thing we preach the gospel to everybody because everybody's commanded to repent believe that includes legislators and the people who are supposed to be

God's servants in this government house we preach the gospel and we do it in such a way that in the first century in the book of Acts again when the

Christians are being accused of a message that was disruptive they said that these people these

Christians are going against the decrees of Caesar saying there's another King Jesus because the state of their day claims ultimacy ultimacy to define what is right what is wrong ultimacy over your lives

Caesar was Lord Kaiser Kyrios they had to say and the early Christians said no we will be good citizens we will respect

God's deacon God's servant the government who is supposed to establish justice and uphold the good which is only defined by God's Word but they said you are not ultimate

Caesar Jesus is ultimate he is authoritative over even you and the early

Christians were killed not because they worship Jesus but because they were seen as enemies of the state because they actually had the nerve to say that the state is not ultimate it cannot ultimately define what is right and just apart from God Jesus is

Lord and I want to say the

Christians who gave us this nation and it was by the way Christians who did it

Christianity was in the atmosphere I'm not saying that everybody involved in this great experiment was truly saved or a true saving faith but the

Christian worldview was unavoidable it was in the atmosphere it was everywhere it was assumed and the

Christians that gave us this great experiment which is hanging on a thread right now they understood this truth if no transcendent law is recognized above the state then the state will attempt to deify itself and take divine prerogatives and act as God there is one

God Father Son and Holy Spirit the triune

God of Scripture and Jesus is the King and this nation is faltering now and losing these blessings and these great examples of justice because our nation needs to repent and turn to Christ and we do not call people to repent and come to Christ with compromise can you just let a little bit of Jesus into your life will you obey him a little bit will you take

Jesus and allow him to come into your life to sort of sit in a corner somewhere will you allow him just have a piece of you

Jesus says to people huge crowds the movement is growing now he says to people if anyone comes to me and does not hate and he names your favorite people and he says in even your own life you're not worthy to be my disciple

Jesus had the courage and the commitment to truth that he was willing to tell massive crowds to go away and whittle the crowd back down to 12 again that's the message of Christ he doesn't want people beat to be deluded into thinking that they're honoring him or glorifying him he wants you and all of you and the pro -life industry the pro -life industry focuses in upon a position of neutrality no commitment to Christ no commitment to God's law and they focus on pragmatism other than principle they want to see what might work and they don't want to offend anybody in the process we want to love our neighbors and we want to love

God supremely and so we're ever going to establish justice we can't do it in a way that is simply pragmatic and compromise that always fails have you noticed that those who are on let's just say the left in this issue those who do not acknowledge crisis

Lord and Savior when they get into the legislature they fight for their worldview they fight for their standard of ethics they fight for what they say is their truth and they're willing to do it without compromise and they're willing to destroy an entire nation to do so because it's not a question of whether there will be a

God over this nation it's which God it's not a question of whether we'll impose a morality it's whose morality and scripture teaches there is only one

God and he is a standard of righteousness and he has spoken and given his revelation and God's Word says it's fundamental you shall not murder murder is the unjustified taking of human life it's the unjustified taking of human life and what's in the womb is human from conception and abortion is the unjustified taking of human life therefore abortion is murder and it's our duty if we want to love

God and love our neighbor truly love them to actually stand in the way of those trying to actually destroy these image bearers of God we live in a day where everybody's in the streets raising their

Marxist fists calling for social justice saying justice now no justice no peace

I'll take you up on that offer this is the premier issue of justice don't tell me you want justice and don't tell me any lives matter if you're not willing to stand for every human from conception and brothers and sisters when

I say the pro -life industry is standing in the way please understand something as Christians we instinctively understand the word life that's good that's from God I'm for life that's straight biblical

I'm for that but many of us who would consider ourselves pro -life don't understand there's a difference between a believer who stands on the

Word of God that says they are for the protection of human life and somebody who is a part of the pro -life industry the pro -life industry is an industry it's a business and they explicitly say from the top they are not approaching this issue as Christians not as commitments to Christ or the law of God they are doing it from a position of neutrality and Jesus says whoever is not with me is against me they're opposed to Christ and the pro -life industry fails consistently to establish justice for the pre -born this year in my state we had a bill of equal protection for all humans from conception equal protection my state already saw abortion as a criminal act since before Roe most states in our

Union because they were birthed out of the Christian worldview did exactly the same they saw abortion as the taking of a human life in an unjustified manner and it went into the homicide code of those states

Arizona was the same Roe is not law it is a court opinion a fallacious court opinion it is not law and in my state the pro -choice industry that's happened in Texas as well and in Oklahoma and in South Carolina in my state the pro -life industry resisted the bill of equal protection even though they say they believe it's human from conception and then all human life is sacred they told all the co -sponsors and those in the legislature do not vote on this bill of equal protection they said don't vote on this vote on ours so they put their bill in you know what it said it said that you cannot kill a baby in the womb in the state of Arizona for the express purpose or reason that it has a genetic abnormality so in other words the bill is saying you can kill the healthy babies developing in the womb but none that have a genetic abnormality and it was a moot point anyways because all a mother or father has to do is they're going to take their baby to the slaughter is simply say

I'm not killing it because it has a genetic abnormality I'm killing it because I hate it and you can kill your baby another pro -life law they put in in opposition to ours for equal protection was you can kill your baby in the state of Arizona but you just have to give it a proper burial so you can kill all those

Jews at Auschwitz will allow you to do so just make sure you give them a nice burial what's the difference there isn't a difference we have been deluded and we have been indoctrinated by our culture and the final one and this

I've made I've tried my best to make sure I inform my brothers and sisters across this nation of the dirty little secret of the pro -life industry they put in a one line repeal of 13 -3604 know that was that was the

Arizona law that criminalized abortion in the state and said that it was illegal and you'd be punished for it the pro -life industry knowingly decriminalized abortion in the state of Arizona this is not a conspiracy theory you can check me on this and why would they do such a thing why here's why the dirty little secret of the pro -life industry they are not trying to criminalize abortion or end it they believe that a mother who goes in to have her little boys head crushed and his arms cut from his body and be disemboweled they believe that she is equally a victim like the baby she's not guilty which means abortion will never be ended with that worldview in that perspective why because you don't punish victims and there's no gospel for them consider that if we follow the pro -life industries inconsistent methodology and perspective as Christians we cannot stand with them and preach the gospel because they do not believe anybody who actually has an abortion as a mother or a father is guilty of anything they're also victims so brothers and sisters how will we end this with truth with the

Word of God how did God change you how did God open your eyes to your condition so that you would flee to Christ for salvation how did it happen you saw your sin you saw your need for Christ you were honest with yourself

God opened your eyes to your condition you were honest with yourself you saw yourself as you truly are and you fled to Christ for life forgiveness and peace do you think anybody in this nation is going to come to Christ in a different way the only time people flee to Jesus for forgiveness and salvation is when they see themselves for who they truly are and the only conviction that ever comes in somebody's life is when they see what they're truly guilty of they're convicted that God uses the law of God to prick the heart to open the mind and the conscience to come to Jesus we have to be honest about this and recognize that the pro -life industry is not working ultimately to end and criminalize abortion because they believe people who perpetrate this crime upon their own children are themselves victims we need to love these mothers and fathers enough to tell them the truth and that there's hope in Christ and in the gospel let me tell you a little bit of a secret

I don't think I've said this publicly yet in the last two years as we've been working on bills in different states and working to establish justice

I have met with more legislators than I can remember I've been in more private meetings than I can remember and I can tell you that I've stood in front of legislator after legislator after legislator face to face and I've been surprised at how many of these legislators were voted in based upon a pro -life record and that they were pro -life they needed the pro -life votes but they were following the pro -life industries methodology just understanding that's how we have to do this correct and when you explain to somebody no you know that Roe versus Wade is not a law it says in our governing documents that Congress creates law not the

Supreme Court the light bulb comes on it's oh yeah we can defy that we deal with marijuana and all kinds of stuff all the time we can defy it for the sake of these children and light bulb comes on but I was in a private meeting last year it was like a dark alley it was dark at night my wife called me at one point she said because we have like tracking stuff on all our families phone she's like what are you doing in that area because it's not a nice area it's kind of dangerous but we met late at night in this secret location in the dark area and I'm sitting in the room with all kinds of local legislators mayors people who were trying to get voted in and I was brought in to challenge them to be consistent and to establish justice and to abolish abortion and I recognize that a lot of times people aren't in this conversation it takes some time to lay things down so they can have an understanding of where we're at where we need to go and I was trying to be gracious and trying to be a humble and I was trying to sort of approach it step by step but sort of softly at first and make my way there and one of the people in the room was staring at me this is a person who has a lot of political influence they're very well known

I'll leave it at that he's staring him in the eyes the entire time and I was just trying to very cautiously and slowly bring these people who are other legislators into the truth and I was talking about the pro -life industry compromising and focusing on pragmatism and they're failing and their bills mean nothing and they don't establish justice at all and they're not working to ultimately criminalize it and end it and he's staring him in the eyes locked not looking away and he finally says out loud in front of everybody he says pastor

Jeff he says we all know that they're not working to end it he said this is an industry it's a business there's trying to stay open for business he says don't pull any punches just say what needs to be said because we already know that the industry is an industry not trying to end it

I'm sharing that with you because you need to know what's going on in these rooms and at the highest level and you also need to know brothers and sisters this very important thing do you know how this happened how this hero was challenged and how he's putting in a bill to bring equal protection it didn't happen through an organization that has millions and millions of dollars it didn't happen through professionals who know how to really work with legislators and they know how the game works do you know how it happened this believer right here and a pastor and Christians who really only come into this with the money in their pockets who was willing to go to a legislator and give them encouragement and prayer and the word so that it would raise up a hero like this it does not take an organization with billions of dollars over 50 years it does not take supreme political power and strength and abilities to go to your local legislators lovingly boldly and with humility and to give them the truth point them to Christ and to demand justice for these pre -born children it takes believers it takes the church and I wanted to say one of the distinctives about this movement right here that actually establishes bills with equal protection bills that really matter and establish real justice in order for that to take place takes the church and one of the distinctions between those other movements and what you're seeing right now is that this is a gospel centered movement that is not compromising it is standing on the truth and it is truly loving our neighbors brothers and sisters

I want you to hear that I want you to hear that watch look at this look at this group today not very large

I mean thousands more gonna see this online yes praise God for the technology yes but this is not a very large group kind of like 11 confused disciples at the ascension of Jesus not a very large group not a lot of very well -known people just a small group like this and this group actually represents believers who love

God and love neighbor and they want to see justice established and you are right now witnessing a hero putting in a bill that actually establishes justice for the pre -born straightaway it does not take large amounts of money political power and persuasion it takes believers who love

God and neighbor enough to do something it takes believers who are willing to go to legislators and to love them enough to call them to be consistent and to protect these children it didn't take millions and millions and millions and millions of dollars raised in funding for bills that do nothing anyways they celebrate last year

I saw one of them celebrating a bill that said you can no longer kill a baby in the womb with sharp instruments they said look what we did you can no longer do it with sharp instruments that's nothing to celebrate you haven't established justice can you imagine in any other realm reasoning like that yes you can continue to beat your slaves just don't use a sharp tool to do it would anybody get behind a wicked bill like that or you can continue to kill

Jews just make sure you use gas nobody would get behind a bill like that but we have been deluded into following a compromised perspective of the pro -life industry no more brothers and sisters if you want to see transformation in this nation it's going to come through Christ and the message of the gospel it will not come through compromise and I recognize that when you are speaking in the public square standing on the

Word of God proclaiming Christ you could be put on the FBI watchlist right we're living in a day where the narrative is if you love

Jesus then you're a right -wing extremist maybe a national you should put on the national terrorist database why because you love

Christ you love God's Word you believe there's ultimate standards above government brothers and sisters can

I challenge you with this from the beginning of the gospel itself exploding into the world

Christians were always seen as an enemy of the state because when you tell the state that there's another

King Jesus and that the King must yield to Jesus every deified state recognizes the danger of Jesus look at North Korea look at China look at every nation that the pure gospel has gone into they always recognize the threat of Jesus but since the beginning of the church brothers and sisters it's been the proclamation of the church that he is the king of kings and Lord of lords and that he is the ruler of the kings of the earth that was in the first century listen when it certainly didn't appear to be so we live in a nation that came through the struggle and the fight and the sacrifice of missionaries and Christians in history that gave us these blessings and the only way this will ever be extended in term of blessing of the nation is through Christ his kingdom his rule his authority and his gospel tell the truth how many guys have finished with this how many guys have actually held one of these babies in your arms you gone to the abortion mill hold a baby in your arms of a saved we gonna get you guys more involved listen when

I I'm not a professional I'm just a pastor was a pastor of a church that was the drug church everyone came out of drug addiction we started going to the abortion mills preaching the gospel saving children and I'll tell you we're not special we're not superstars we're not powerful really need we're just Christians that went out and preach the gospel and we started doing it preaching the gospel and holding these babies in our arms that's when it changed us for good

I encourage you to go preach the gospel save some babies you hold these babies in your arms it'll change you forever it will change you forever it goes from a place of theory to flesh and blood and when you hold one of these babies in your arms you recognize that that number of three thousand babies killed a day means you have to sacrifice everything for their sake

I recognize that's an incomprehensible number you know I've said this a number of times you watch anything I've said

I recognize that sixty million plus human beings slaughtered since row is a number that is incomprehensible three thousand babies a day is incomprehensible you can't really calculated and consider it and really feel it as a human being

I understand that that's why I agree with my friend you have to think about it as one baby at a time and there are two places you need to have this fight as a

Christian with the gospel one at the place that they're killing them and two you have to go to the place where they're allowing their slaughter and you have to speak the truth and if you think

I don't have much to me I can't do this I don't have any money I don't have any power you remember this man and you remember a movement like ours that comes from a local church in the desert with a budget that is pennies on the dollar of an industry that does nothing to establish justice and you remember that over the last year all these bills of equal protection went in and all these thousands of babies are alive today not because of an industry that has heavy funding but it's because of Christians who love

God and neighbor enough to go do something so brothers and sisters do something don't allow this just to be a day you shut up for a rally rah -rah you got encouraged maybe you got a little bit of a motivation to you and you walk away from it sacrifice everything

I love the story Zack tells about his family I love it every time he tells that it gets better because I get more details each time it never gets old but when he tells that story there's something significant about it that relates to everything

I just left with you these were just men we see him as the

Giants and the heroes today because they deserve to be there but these were just men who were going against the popular opinion of many of those around them they were seen as the troublemakers and they gave everything for you and me living outside in the winter doesn't sound very fun at all having

British soldiers coming in to take you and to throw your family into poverty in perpetuity sounds like a massive sacrifice that's one man who sacrificed that for you and for me it does take dying to self to truly love others and establish any righteousness or light or truth or justice so die to yourself these children are dying every single day so die to yourself die to your reputation die to your wants and needs and desires lay down your life for the sake of these children if you want proof that God's gonna bless it there's gonna be fruit in that look at all the people who have come to Christ to end abortion now and all the churches now doing this look at all the thousands of babies who have been saved and you look at bills like this one and heroes like the one standing right here right now that God does bless faithfulness so be faithful praise
