God. Many people make this challenge, but is it valid? Did Jesus actually claim to be God?

Well, one thing we have to do when we look at this is understand that language, culture changes.

So we have to understand what happens with Jesus' words by those that reacted to it.

So if you go to John chapter 8 and you look there, you end up seeing that Jesus Christ ends up claiming to be,

I am. I am is a name for God. You see this in verse 58. Jesus said to them, truly, truly, I say to you before Abraham was,

I am. So they pick up stones to throw at him. So you look at this, then you go to John chapter 10, and he ends up saying in verse 30,

I and the Father are one. The Jews again pick up stones to stone him. Jesus answered them, I've shown you many good works from my

Father. For which of them are you going to stone me? And the Jews answered, it is not for a good work that we're going to stone you, but for blasphemy, for you being a man, make yourself

Mark chapter 2. They drop a paralytic right in front of Jesus after ripping a hole in the roof. He ends up saying, your sins are forgiven.
