Welcome to The Rapid Pull, Daily Edition, where we provide a quick biblical interpretations and applications.

This is a ministry of striving for eternity. A common problem that we see, especially with social media, is really a celebrity status that you see with some
00:23
Christians and some pastors, where some people will follow one and if you follow one person you can't follow the other because you just have to draw the lines.
00:31
And it's almost as if we have all these lines being drawn that I follow this person so I can't follow that person.
00:38
If you follow that person you're not saved because you follow that person. Now there is cases where we have people that are outside of the faith, but we're talking about people that are within the faith and yet we have so many lines being drawn.
00:51
That's nothing new. If you think about 1 Corinthians 1, verse 12, it says, what
00:56
I mean is that each one of you says, I follow Paul, I follow
01:03
Apollos, I follow Cephas, or I follow Christ. Is Christ divided?
01:10
Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? In other words, what
01:16
Paul is saying to them is that they're dividing and making these divisions on who they follow, whether it's
01:21
Paul or Apollos or Cephas or Christ, and yet the reality is we all follow Christ.
01:27
That should be the central focus. We're going to disagree with one another as brothers in Christ because we do have differing views on things, but the reality is what we should be doing is following Christ in all things, not putting any man up as a status to say if you follow him you're right and if you don't follow him you're wrong.
01:48
That's not what Paul argued. Paul said follow Christ. This podcast is part of the
