We recite the Ardhas prayer before any new endeavor, giving thanks to God and asking for His protection and help to uphold the values of humility, truth, courage, service, and justice for all.

So she's going to offer a Sikh prayer about justice for all, among other things. But here's the question.

What exactly will be her standard for justice? Will it be the God of the Sikhs or the God of the Christians?

The camera is panning over all these hardcore Republicans, most of whom are probably professing Christians, who are bowing their heads and standing there reverently as this woman sings in a language that none of them can understand to a false

And how exactly does this prayer advance the so -called Christian values of the Republican Party?

This has been the view of Christians for all of church history. And to platform someone who is suggesting that Waheguru, or whatever the name is, is the one true

And frankly, I'm ashamed that so many so -called Christian patriots are standing there as if this idolatry is acceptable to Christians.

Because it shows that for all the reverence that conservatives give the Founding Fathers, it seems that none of us actually know what they taught or what they believed.

You see, our country's founders would be spinning in their graves if they knew that their descendants would give one of the biggest political platforms in the land to a non -Christian so that she can offer a blasphemous prayer to a false god.

This would have been unthinkable to these people. And yet here we are in 2024 doing exactly that and then talking about how much we love the

Founding Fathers. It's ridiculous. This is not only un -Christian, it's un -American. But she continues.

Come on, Colin, you're being way too harsh. What exactly is the big deal here? As conservatives, we believe in freedom of religion, and that's all they did.

They just let her exercise her religious freedom. Well, here's my response to that. I have no problem with this woman being allowed to be a

Sikh in America. I am certainly not advocating that we round up all the non -Christians and do anything wrong to them.

However, freedom to practice your religion in general does not mean that you ought to be allowed to promote your religion in a position of political power.

So, Colin, are you actually saying that non -Christians shouldn't be in political offices in the United States?

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. And I don't think that should be controversial for Christians. But wait, you say, you can't tell people that they shouldn't hold political office just because of their beliefs.

Um, yes, I'm pretty sure I can. In fact, I'm pretty sure we all do that constantly. The Republicans don't want

Democrats in power because of their LGBT, pro -choice, and open immigration beliefs.

The Democrats, on the other hand, don't want Republicans in power. Why? Because of their anti -LGBT, pro -life, and closed border beliefs.

So here's my question to all of you. Why exactly do we care more about the political beliefs than we do about the theological beliefs that are their foundation?

And why are we allowed to care about political beliefs and not religious beliefs when it comes to our voting patterns?

As far as I can tell, this distinction is found nowhere in Scripture. In fact, I see quite the opposite.

Psalm 33, verse 12 says, Yes, this was originally written to the ancient

Jews. And no, I'm not saying that America is Israel. But any nation whose people believe in the one true

God and serve him will certainly be blessed. Look at Nineveh, for example. They repented, and God blessed them.

We have seen this historically in the Western world time and time again, not least in America. Or how about Psalm 2, which says,

And that passage was not just written to the Jewish people. It was written to all the rulers of all the nations of all the

Earth. You see, historically, America and the Western tradition has received their laws from the

Old Testament laws in Scripture. And historically, people from virtually every country have longed to enter the

United States for the freedom and justice that we have here, even though it sometimes has been flawed. This is not a coincidence.

And this is what's at stake here. We must not seek to make the United States a pluralist melting pot of different moral systems and religions.

The Bible does not speak well of false religions, and I don't think it's a good idea for us to promote them to the highest offices in the land.

We become like what we worship. Will our country be led by ultimate moral truth as found in the

Christian faith, or will it be led by half -truths and lies found in religious pluralism? This is the question

Republicans must answer. And unfortunately, they seem to be getting it very, very wrong, at least recently.

But let me be clear. I would rather vote for a Sikh like Harmeet Dhillon here, who is generally conservative and rational, rather than voting for a so -called

Christian like Joe Biden, who is completely immoral and as unstable as they come. I am more than willing to make concessions for the general political good of my people, even if that means voting for someone who's not my favorite candidate in a perfect world.

Trump is also an example of this. But my overall point here still stands. Celebrating idolatry in our political system is sinful, and God is just as displeased with it as he has been with any other form of idolatry.

And just because you baptize it in conservative politics does not make it right in his eyes. So let's pray that God would bring revival to America, revival to the conservative political stance, and that this revival would manifest in God's glory being magnified in the public square and in every hall of government to the praise of his mighty name.
