- This is a ministry of striving for eternity. Omniscience. This is the attribute of God that God is all -knowing.

- It's a compound word, omniscience, meaning all or total, and science meaning knowledge.

- This is the idea that God is all -knowing. He knows everything, all details, past, present, future, and even the real.

- He can even say, as He walked on earth, that if Sodom and Gomorrah had seen the works done in their presence, they would have repented in ashes.

- He knows completely what could happen. Because He's outside of time, because He is eternal,

- His knowledge is one that's not bound by time. This is why only God can have 100 % true knowledge.

- He can speak His prophecy to us, because it's not a time -based thing for Him. He knows these things will happen, so He says it to us in time, and it's still future to us.

- But He could say it with 100 % accuracy, because it's not a prediction, it's not a guess for Him.

- He knows it with an absolute knowledge. This is what makes it different for God than for you and I.

- We don't know things absolutely. We don't know things with 100 % accuracy. He does.

- And so as we look at God, we must recognize the fact that He knows everything, and this is part of His attributes of omniscience.
