- For God to have the ability to say I will raise up Cyrus, He also has to have the ability to say

- I will also do all of the other things that come with raising up Cyrus, which includes all the small things that bring about the big thing.

- Sproul used this poem. And so I like to give credit where credit is due. I heard it from him.

- But the poem is called For Want of a Nail. For want of a nail, for want of a nail, the horse threw a shoe.

- And for want of a shoe, the horse fell in battle. And for want of the horse, the battle was lost.

- And for want of the battle, the nation collapsed.

- The nation collapsed for want of a nail. If God is sovereign over raising up Cyrus, God is sovereign over every nail in the shoe of every horse that goes into battle.

- God is sovereign over every man and woman who goes to the polls. God is sovereign over everything that happens to America, to China, to Russia, to Ukraine, to Israel and all of the nations surrounding it.

- We can be concerned and pray and we should. But we must never for a moment lose sight of who is in control.

- And it is the God who raised up Cyrus and said I am
