Post-Election 2024
4 views
Trump is now President-elect, and the liberals on TIKTOK are screaming with distraught seizures! The conservative have received their “Messiah”, but is it time to kick back and relax? No! In this episode, I address some of the mental meltdowns from the liberal corner and why it’s happening, as well as some of the weird messianic tendencies of those on the republican-right. There are also several comments made on the bureaucratic influence in government, our history, apologetics, and the Christian worldview as it engages in politics. Our task, now that Trump will soon take office in January 2025, is NOT to “ease up”, because the fight for freedom and the foundations of Biblical principles is still calling us to participate in the shaping of our culture! May this be an encouraging topic that continues to inform and disciple you in the matters of the current political landscape and the battle raging on underneath.

- 00:49
- My name is Belushi Prevalon, coming to you from the Boston area. And right now, you are listening to Trueology, the study of the truth, as it is in Jesus.
- 01:01
- Welcome back to Trueology. On today's episode, we will be basically reminding you that life still goes on.
- 01:08
- We'll also be covering the extreme reactions that have been taking place on both the liberal and conservative side post -election 2024.
- 01:19
- And what the purpose, or I should say, what the election was actually really about.
- 01:24
- You know, besides the overt and on -screen things that you've seen on the mainstream media, there actually has been a deeply rooted battle taking place.
- 01:33
- So, I hope we can cover some of that today. But let's just jump right in and begin with our first point and topic, which is that life still goes on.
- 01:42
- Yes, that's right. The sun will still rise tomorrow. You still have to show up for your shift tomorrow, despite the fact that Donald Trump is the president -elect.
- 01:51
- Right. Some people believe that he is because he's been elected as soon to be president and take office in January 2025, that their rights are just going to suddenly just disappear.
- 02:06
- This is outrageous because it goes to show how ignorant and misinformed masses amount of Americans are.
- 02:14
- Particularly, you know, liberal women, young liberal women who are on TikTok showing videos of themselves in great despair, screaming and having these emotional tantrums about how they just are disappointed and distraught about Donald Trump being elected.
- 02:32
- This is so crazy and outrageous. You know, I wouldn't believe it, except for the fact that I already saw it with my own eyes.
- 02:39
- And it is it goes to show you that, you know, the culture has done a really good job at discipling young minds into foolishness to the point where they manifest that foolishness and in such an outrageous manner by, you know, literally.
- 02:57
- I mean, you know how much you know how much time and effort it takes to actually, you know, record yourself, you know, screaming and yelling and having these outrageous reactions to Donald Trump and then going to post it on, you know,
- 03:12
- TikTok or any media source. And just so you can, you know, show people that you're you're mad.
- 03:17
- That's such a five year old way of dealing with problems. And it is and it is, you know, this greatly, you know, disappointing that, you know, a lot of people in America actually believe that Donald Trump is such a hateful monster that they need to show their their emotions and hatred for him by displaying it openly and publicly for all eyes to see as if we're supposed to be, you know, convinced by that stuff.
- 03:42
- So, you know, life still goes on. Even those people who are, you know, having their tantrums in the media, they still have to show up for their shift tomorrow.
- 03:49
- You know, it's not like they just, you know, their boss is going to call them and say, you don't have to come in because Trump got elected.
- 03:55
- You know, I know some people believe he's a Nazi or whatever, a racist, misogynist kind of guy, whatever. But, you know, it's it's not it's it's not that serious.
- 04:03
- And most of that stuff is just, you know, propaganda that has, you know, unfortunately been successful at teaching mostly young liberal women that Donald Trump is here to basically take away your rights.
- 04:16
- We'll be covering some of that later on. But I just want to begin with that first point. Life still goes on and you can still carry on with all your responsibilities instead of breaking down mentally on social media.
- 04:29
- You know, this outrageous reaction to Donald Trump has also led me to believe that, you know, this really is a misunderstanding on how our governmental structure actually works.
- 04:42
- I mean, just just think about it for a second. Like you have, you know, you know, and I'm also speaking to people who are on the conservative side as well, not just, you know, not just primarily the liberal women, you know.
- 04:55
- Well, I should say primarily them, but also people who are conservative and people who are a little more laid back in terms of politics.
- 05:02
- You know, we seem to misunderstand how our governmental structure actually works.
- 05:08
- You see, our governmental structure is stable. It actually is. The way that the founding fathers actually created it, it has stood the test of time for generations now, and it still works the way it was intended.
- 05:21
- Yes, it has, you know, there's been some nuanced changes here and there. But overall, the overarching structure of the branches of government,
- 05:31
- Congress, the presidency, the Supreme Court, and all the articles that define, you know, their jobs and their obligations and how they're supposed to be working in concert to uphold the rule of law and by the consent of the people who give permission to be governed.
- 05:50
- Yes, that still works. And you know who knows it works? Politicians. This is why they had to go out of their way to try to convince you to vote for them.
- 06:00
- This is why, you know, evil politicians have to use massive amounts of propaganda to steal your vote because they know the only way they're ever going to get in the position of power to accomplish their agenda is if they get you, the people, to actually vote for them because they know they can't just, you know, as corrupt as they are, they can't just, you know, usurp the system and prop themselves up as those that are in charge.
- 06:28
- No, they have to go through the governmental structure that was established by the Founding Fathers. They have to go through the three branches of government, they have to go through elections, and they have to convince you to vote for them in order to be in the positions they want to be.
- 06:43
- So, remember, you know, that still works. You know, I've heard some pastors and even some
- 06:50
- Christians, unfortunately, you know, criticize the way that our governmental structure works.
- 06:56
- As a matter of fact, they've said that it doesn't really work and that it's so corrupted that it's pointless to get involved in politics, and to be honest,
- 07:03
- I'd like to say shame on those pastors and Christians because the way our structure has been established, yes, it is still functional, and it still deters evil, and it slows down corruption.
- 07:15
- So long as we, the people, who have been vested with the great privilege to cast our votes for the leaders that we want, as long as we choose wisely, we can still maintain and deter evil to a greater extent.
- 07:30
- Or else we can allow propaganda and corrupt politicians to convince us of stupidity and foolishness and cause us to go down an ungodly and dangerous path.
- 07:42
- Remember, our worldview or our view of politics flows from our worldview, and our worldview as Christians is that Christ is
- 07:51
- Lord and that the Word of God is true and defines all things. And our worldview also includes our view of politics, not just education and not just the way we think about science and the creation order, but also politics and the way we look at family.
- 08:09
- Yes, all of that, our worldview, all of that is included in our worldview.
- 08:15
- Christ is Lord and the Word of God governing all things. So when we think about politics and the way that our governmental structure is established, we should remember that the way we should critique and analyze them is through the
- 08:28
- Scriptures and what Christ has already defined for us. We're not here to invent our own way of looking at these things, and we're not supposed to completely cut them off from the facts of Scripture, but rather we're supposed to use, you know, we're supposed to assume and know the
- 08:46
- Lordship of Jesus Christ to such an extent, knowing that He has all power over all things and that His Word allows us to have the lens to properly assess all things, including politics.
- 08:57
- I'd also like to remind you all that, you know, despite how you feel about this election,
- 09:04
- God is still on the throne. And I don't mean that in a trite way or in a cliche kind of manner.
- 09:12
- I really do mean it. God is on the throne. For example, if we look at Colossians 1 .19
- 09:20
- verses through 20, it says this, God is still on the throne, and ever since the
- 09:42
- Father sent His Son to die on the cross, rise again, and ascend the throne in heaven, ever since that time,
- 09:49
- His blood has been spilled. According to this Scripture, yes, God the Father has been working all things to reconcile all things, whether they be things in earth or things in heaven, whether they be spiritual or physical things.
- 10:02
- He's been working them all eschatologically to come to the dominion of Jesus Christ and to redeem them.
- 10:11
- Just as He has redeemed the very first thing that had fallen in the garden, which was man, so is
- 10:16
- He redeeming man right now, and He's redeeming everything that was consequently cursed because of the fall of man, which is all things in heaven and on earth.
- 10:26
- So God is still on the throne. He has a purpose for the things that are happening in the earth, including the 2024 election.
- 10:35
- To bolster this a little bit, I want to remind you that the Scriptures tell us that God is actively working with rulers in the earth.
- 10:43
- The Bible tells us that God possesses the heart of kings, Proverbs 21 verse 1.
- 10:49
- Now, before we read the verse, I just want to remind you, the book of Proverbs is a book of wisdom.
- 10:55
- Here is God sharing His wisdom about how He directs kings and rulers in the earth.
- 11:03
- It says this, Proverbs 21 verse 1, Now, of course, this verse could be talking about, you know, like a godly king who has been reading and learning
- 11:18
- God's laws and through apprehending and keeping and retaining God's laws.
- 11:24
- God, by His Spirit, uses the ingrained word of God in His heart to turn
- 11:29
- His decision -making and to accomplish the will of God.
- 11:35
- It could be talking about that, but it also applies to ungodly kings and ungodly rulers.
- 11:41
- How do we know this? Because there's, I mean, there's several books in the Old Testament that talk about this kind of stuff.
- 11:47
- For example, like the book of Daniel, where it talks about Nebuchadnezzar, whom God, though He was proud and, you know,
- 11:53
- He esteemed Himself to be the one who had gained all His riches and glory, God humbled Him, and He confessed that it was indeed
- 12:01
- Yahweh who is the one true God who governs all things. Here's an example of an
- 12:08
- Old Testament wicked king, a pagan king, who was in the hand of the
- 12:13
- Lord to accomplish His will, to, you know, make Daniel, you know, bring
- 12:20
- Daniel up in stature to be able to please the Lord in some fashion, even in a pagan nation
- 12:26
- He had been outcast to. God has also used the king
- 12:31
- Cyrus, whom He used to send back His people to build the things that were in Jerusalem.
- 12:40
- You know, if you ask yourself, where is history going? The answer is very simple, and it could be defined this way.
- 12:47
- Genesis 1 .1, in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. That tells us that in the beginning,
- 12:52
- God created, and He didn't create, you know, just whimsically, but He created with wisdom, the eternal wisdom of God, which means that everything that was created was created for a purpose.
- 13:04
- It was going to be directed towards that ends in purpose, which God had from an eternity past.
- 13:10
- So where is history going? History is going down the direction to please and fulfill the plans of God.
- 13:17
- And guess what that includes? That includes the 2024 election. So no matter how you feel about this, you know, just remember, do not disconnect politics from your actual worldview as a
- 13:29
- Christian, seeing the Lordship of Christ and the Word of God as defining your entire perspective.
- 13:36
- We should be thankful that we are able to understand the way things really are as governed by Christ's Lordship and His Word, because the liberals on TikToks that are, you know, having these mental meltdowns don't have this great privilege we have the
- 13:52
- Word of God and the Holy Spirit in us and the Word of God to be able to comfort us and teach us the mind of God so that we can be so that we can continue to be a part of this great reconciling work.
- 14:05
- These liberals have nothing to bank on, but we as Christians should be motivated and confident in the fact that everything that is happening in history is not a mistake and is not something that catches
- 14:17
- God off guard, but rather it is something that is working towards His great purpose. He has worked in wicked men to accomplish
- 14:24
- His great plans. So as the Word of God is the lens through which we understand and perceive these things in our modern culture, let us not fail to remember to trust in Him and to wait upon Him to see what
- 14:40
- He will do, even through wicked kings. I mean, even though Donald Trump is the president -elect, he could very well be one of those wicked kings in history through whom
- 14:51
- God is working. And as God's people, the only way we will be able to assess and know what to do in light of that king or ruler in our nation is if we humble ourselves and rely upon God to reveal and give us wisdom on how to interact in the time in which we live.
- 15:10
- Next topic I want to cover is the extreme reactions that have been taking place both on the liberal side and on the conservative side.
- 15:23
- So let's begin with the liberals really quickly. So the liberals have been having these mental meltdowns as if they're supposed to be convincing or something.
- 15:35
- It's almost as if they believe that through seeing these things and making them public, somehow you're going to see it and be like, oh no, oh, these people are really having a bad time.
- 15:44
- It's because of Donald Trump. Well, if these people are suffering because of Trump, maybe he really is a bad guy.
- 15:50
- None of that is convincing. It makes these people look like outrageous fools. There's so much shame.
- 16:00
- There should be shame in all of that stuff. I'm surprised that some of these people can actually get on the internet and post these things and make them public and actually see themselves as holding the moral high ground still.
- 16:12
- As Christians, as we critique and look at these things and interact with them, we should first of all begin with calling these things for what they really are.
- 16:21
- Stupid. Let's not have any remorse or feel mean, but rather just point out what these things are.
- 16:29
- This is foolishness. A president that you didn't like got elected, and now you're just going to be screaming the top of your lungs and having these outrageous reactions?
- 16:39
- No, this is manifesting that there is no wisdom in what you are doing. And as Christians, let's remember that we're not being mean when we assess it that way, but rather we're being wise because that's how fools display what is really in their heart.
- 16:56
- So, liberals have been having these mental meltdowns. This is proof of their unstable mind and their bankrupt worldview.
- 17:04
- They don't have anything to rely on. They don't have the Lordship of Christ to rely on. They don't have the comfort of the
- 17:10
- Word of God. They don't have the Holy Spirit of God to be able to teach them and direct them towards a proper sanctification.
- 17:16
- Therefore, they are reduced to screaming at the top of their lungs, unintelligible things.
- 17:23
- So, these mental meltdowns are just absolute proof, empirical proof, that there is something wrong in our culture, and the only thing that can redeem it is an enlightened mind governed by the
- 17:37
- Lordship and Word of Christ. So, if there was ever an opportunity to share the gospel, that would be it right there, right?
- 17:46
- This is our mandate. When we see things like this in our culture, let's first point out the sin, let's call them to repentance, and show them the truth and reconciliation of the gospel so that their minds can be restored and that their souls can be properly sanctified in truth and made stable again.
- 18:07
- So, you know, some of these liberals are really having problems because of mostly what
- 18:13
- I believe is these unjustified accusations against Trump. Like, for example, they'll call him a rapist because of some past court trials he's had.
- 18:22
- Now, I don't know what the final adjudication to these court trials have been and what has happened to Trump in past time in regards to these things, but I know being a man of his stature, being a billionaire, someone who has great stature in history and in the entertainment industry, yes,
- 18:43
- I'm sure there have been a lot of people who have accused him of things that he has had to go to court for. I'm sure if you really want to know if Donald Trump is a rapist or he's, you know, sexually assaulted women in the past,
- 18:56
- I'm sure you could, you know, you have a computer in your back pocket, it's called a phone, and it's called Google, and you can actually do some research, you can cross -reference many things on the internet to be able to get a full picture of what these liberals are having a meltdown over, whether they be true or not.
- 19:13
- Because we should not just, you know, focus on hearing and having our conclusions being based on sound bites, which
- 19:21
- I believe some of these liberals are actually getting their information from, but rather we should be doing the actual research to see whether, you know,
- 19:27
- Donald Trump is, you know, a rapist or a true Nazi or Hitler, right? So this is what has caused some of this mental meltdown and these unjustified accusations against Trump.
- 19:38
- You know, it's primarily sound bites and just, you know, we're living in the TikTok generation where almost every video and outlet of information is, you know, 15 seconds or less.
- 19:49
- Let's not be like that. Let's have a little more patience as God's people so that we don't, you know, fall into the category of unjustified liberals making misinformed accusations against a man who is probably innocent in these charges.
- 20:06
- So these liberals are also unwilling to justify their own positions. And, you know, I tend to think that, you know, the more we allow, you know, people on the left to just get away with the things they believe without actually challenging them, the more they will feel as though they really are in the truth and they will continue to perpetuate and believe them.
- 20:26
- And unfortunately, you know, some of them, you know, believe in the educational institutions and they have taken them over to the point that they, you know, become the teachers and they become the leaders and they disciple your children, right?
- 20:40
- So let's not allow these people to continue to unjustifiably hold to their positions, but let's keep pointing out the bankruptcy of their position.
- 20:48
- And let's keep pointing out the obvious nature of their position. And, you know, if they attempt to censor you, just remember, you can always just turn around and call them the oppressor.
- 20:59
- Because you know what totalitarian dictators do? They do not allow those who disagree with them to speak.
- 21:05
- And if there is any, you know, ideological position today that more reflects totalitarian dictatorship, it is the modern liberals who do not want to explain what they believe, but will be quick to point the finger and try to shut you down if you disagree with them.
- 21:25
- I mean, like, that should be so easy for us as Christians to be able to just say, wait a second, you don't want to defend what you believe?
- 21:32
- And you want me to just, you know, by fiat, just assent to what you're saying about yourself without any defense?
- 21:38
- You mean you're forcing my conscience to believe against what I've already been holding to?
- 21:45
- You're the oppressor. You know, this is very easy for us. And unfortunately, in the heat of the moment, sometimes we are not prepared to deal with the obvious nature of these false and unjustified positions that modern liberals hold.
- 21:59
- The same positions that cause them to have these ridiculous meltdowns on social media.
- 22:06
- What you need to do is you need to, in order to be prepared for all this, you need to do some critical thinking, you need to do some personal reflection, and you need to make sure you have your worldview defined, because I guarantee you, they don't.
- 22:20
- So if you just do these three things, critical thinking, reflection, and actually find ways to define your worldview, you will have the advantage over almost any, you know, liberal on the internet, or any liberal you meet on the street level.
- 22:34
- Because they don't do these things themselves because they're not encouraged to, and they have no basis upon which they should, you know?
- 22:41
- So it puts you already at the advantage to be able to contend with them to the degree that the minute you begin to clash, the battle is won, because there is no ammunition on the other side being tossed back.
- 22:56
- See, the world, you know, the way the world really is, is this. The world is designed by God's wisdom.
- 23:03
- According to Proverbs 3, 19 through 20, the Bible says this,
- 23:19
- So in this verse, we are told that, you know, God made the world with his understanding and his wisdom.
- 23:27
- Meaning that the very world and the existence of all nature in the created order, in its very elemental parts, is designed by the logic of God.
- 23:43
- And all of his mind and his created, and his creational wisdom and understanding is ingrained in it.
- 23:53
- Therefore, this means this, that there is a moral fabric to all of existence, including, you know, whether it be things that are physical or things that are more spiritual and abstract in nature, like morality.
- 24:09
- There is a fabric to all of that stuff. And we are told that in one of the books of wisdom, such as Proverbs.
- 24:16
- For example, in Proverbs chapter 2, verse 21 through 22, we read this, Sometimes the temptation is to, you know, read something like this and to assume that this is talking about way out there further into the future.
- 24:40
- But unfortunately, the book of Proverbs is written as a father talking to his son and trying to get him to obey
- 24:47
- God and be moral and know how to have wisdom in the world. And which means that the book of Proverbs is written from the perspective of here and now.
- 24:57
- You know, here and now, this is the moral fabric of the universe. The upright will dwell in the land.
- 25:04
- If you are upright and you live humbly before God and you obey his word, the promise in Proverbs is that you will live longer and you will be blessed by spiritual and intellectual wisdom deposited by God.
- 25:19
- But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth. You know, if you live foolishly and wickedly in the world and you go against the created order,
- 25:27
- God is sovereign enough to bring your life to a quick end and transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
- 25:33
- Yes, God is sovereign and he upholds those things. If he chooses to, he can reward you today for your transgression or he can reward you in 15 years.
- 25:43
- He is in complete control to do that. This is how the world was made by God's wisdom. It has a moral fabric and there are rewards and penalties, as it said in Proverbs 3, 34 to 35.
- 25:55
- Surely he scorneth the scorners, but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
- 26:00
- The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
- 26:06
- So this is how the world really works by God's created and predictable order. If you obey him and you fear him and you make good decisions in life according to wisdom and good understanding as deposited by God and taught in his law, then yes, you will.
- 26:22
- He is sovereign enough to reward you and give you long life and great rewards and inheritance.
- 26:30
- But if you are wicked and you disobey him, he is completely sovereign to uproot you out of this world, cutting your life short and giving you the penalty of death.
- 26:43

- 27:09
- Thank you. So, we can understand from, you know, what
- 27:15
- I've just given here that this is why the extreme reactions have come from these liberals.
- 27:21
- They do not know how God's world works. They do not have God's wisdom. They have a bankrupt worldview.
- 27:29
- They bring forth unjustified accusations, not just against the person they hate most, which is Trump, but also against you on the street level.
- 27:36
- And they do not know how to assess this world. They do not know how to live in a line with God's mind as seen in the moral fabric of reality.
- 27:46
- Therefore, they get on TikTok and they scream their heads off. And we can have the benefit of pointing out their foolishness, laughing at them, and calling them to repentance of faith in Christ.
- 27:58
- That should be our great privilege, and we ought to do it. So, that's the extreme reaction on the liberal side.
- 28:05
- I'm going to try to kind of pick it up a little bit more here as we discuss the extreme reactions on the conservative side.
- 28:13
- Now, I do mean a little... I have a nuanced opinion on what
- 28:19
- I mean by the reaction on the conservative side. It's not like the liberals who have these mental breakdowns, but rather it begins with this.
- 28:27
- It begins with seeing Trump as this new Messiah. He is their
- 28:33
- Christ. He is their Savior. They see him as like he is
- 28:39
- Superman. Now he is in office. He's had this great dramatic entrance back into the political administrative office of the presidency.
- 28:50
- And now he is here to help us all and rescue us from socialistic communism, right?
- 28:57
- You know, this is an extreme reaction. We ought to realize that Trump is not
- 29:02
- Jesus. He is not the end -all be -all of politics.
- 29:08
- He is another politician, and we should see him as such. And if you voted for him for whatever reasons, just remember that you should not see him higher than he actually is.
- 29:21
- He is not God. He is a mere man who is exposed to the temptations that you are, and to usurp authority and to use his pride to oppress.
- 29:35
- But I'm not saying that Trump will do that. I'm just saying that he's not immune to any of those things.
- 29:42
- Now that Trump is in office, this is not a time to relax, but some conservatives actually kind of think that.
- 29:50
- Now that Trump's in office, everything's taken care of. He's not in office, but he's soon to be in office now that he's president -elect.
- 29:58
- Now it's time to relax. China's already acting a little different. The Houthis, the
- 30:04
- Hamas, and even Russia right now are reacting to the fact that he got elected recently, and things seem to already be taking shape because our savior is here.
- 30:15
- No, this is not a time to relax. This is a time, honestly, if you're a conservative, if you're a Christian, this is the time to get involved and participate on the local and state level, because those fights still continue, right?
- 30:28
- Despite the national political election, the local and state fights continue, but are you engaged in that?
- 30:37
- Are you really engaged in the national level where the things that will primarily happen will barely affect you quickly and immediately, and ignoring the local and state level things that do affect you a lot quicker and sooner?
- 30:52
- Because what a great shame, right? Now that we just think that we can just kick back our feet and watch TV and eat our potato chips because the savior's in town.
- 31:01
- No, this is a time to work. We can't forget that sometimes, you know, we can't forget that, you know,
- 31:09
- Trump not only is not a savior, but being a man and being a politician, he himself holds to some pretty terrible positions.
- 31:18
- You know, he has compromised on his view of abortion. He has also, you know,
- 31:23
- I believe he always was like this. He endorses this idea of religious pluralism.
- 31:28
- You know, if you watched the RNC earlier this year, you would have seen that, you know, there was a unifying motif where, you know, all these different sorts of kinds of beliefs and peoples were invited to be part of the
- 31:43
- RNC and not be ostracized. But, you know, the tent got bigger during the
- 31:48
- RNC and, you know, the new republicanism has now been formulated around Trump and has included a new stance on abortion and various other things, including religious pluralism.
- 32:01
- And as Christians and as conservatives, these are not historically the things that we have stood for.
- 32:06
- So we need to be cautious and not to see Trump as this new savior that's just going to fix all things because just like a man, he can compromise.
- 32:18
- We need to be careful and cease from voting pragmatically. And what do
- 32:23
- I mean by pragmatically? I mean, you know, just voting for the things that, you know, you want done, the things that will work for you.
- 32:30
- Doesn't matter who gets it done. But, you know, if Trump is the guy that's going to help the economy get better, then
- 32:36
- I'm going to vote for him, despite the fact that, you know, there's other things that I don't like about him. If Trump is the guy that's going to help with better tax cuts, then
- 32:43
- I'm going to vote for him. If he's the guy that helps me buy a home this year and lowers interest rates so I can get a mortgage, then so be it.
- 32:52
- I don't care. I'll vote for Trump, right? Or if you see him as the guy who's going to stop the Ukrainian war or lower gas prices, this is pragmatically voting for someone or supporting a candidate.
- 33:05
- You know, we should not do that on the liberal side, neither should we do that on the conservative side. And too often, conservatives are not being told, you know, the finger's not being pointed where it should be at conservatives to remind them that, you know, we're not just electing a man to be our savior and take care of the things that help us, you know, raise our families better, but rather we are here to properly assess what kind of leaders we truly want.
- 33:36
- You know, as Christians, though, when we assess, you know, what kind of leaders we want, we should really be, instead of voting pragmatically, we should really be voting for that which helps the furtherance of the gospel, that which will provide an opportunity for the church to mobilize and move, spreading the gospel and seeing
- 34:00
- God work through the power of regeneration and conversion. You know, we should be voting for that which brings about the opportunity for leadership opportunities in the local and state level of government.
- 34:13
- You know, we should be looking for that opportunity and that leader that will open the door wide by God's gracious goodness to allow us in the positions of being the church and the pillar of ground and the truth and the moral, you know, center of our societies to be able to have the privilege to advise our leaders.
- 34:34
- That's what we should be voting for, not just for the economy and better gas prices, right, but rather for the hand—we should really be thinking about where is the hand of God truly.
- 34:46
- So, I hope that serves as a good reminder for us, if you are conservative, not to just pragmatically vote or support someone such as Trump as if he is simply just a savior who's going to fix all things, and now all you need to do is kick back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
- 35:04
- But rather, we should be invigorated to move and continue to work, knowing that the work is not done until Christ himself comes.
- 35:13
- You see, the task has really only begun. You know, ask yourself this question, will we hold our leaders' feet to the fire?
- 35:24
- You know, now that Trump is soon to be in office, are we going to hold him accountable like we would hold any other elected official accountable?
- 35:32
- Are we willing to actually participate in our local and state levels? Are we really going to strive for true representation?
- 35:42
- You know, I think there's been a lot of silence on this, on even the conservative side of the aisle.
- 35:49
- You know, the liberals have always been already on this, but even the conservative side has been very quiet on this topic here.
- 35:55
- True representation. You know, the way our government is set up is that Congress, the presidency, and the
- 36:04
- Supreme Court, the three branches of government, are supposed to work together by the consent of the people to govern them.
- 36:11
- But what has happened, you know, in several generations in American history now is that we look at our elected officials as if they're rulers, instead of those who are supposed to represent us.
- 36:24
- They work for us. By consent, we give them the power and we vest them with the ability to carry out the administration, the things that we believe in, the things that we want, the things that we voted for.
- 36:38
- You know, we've given them those offices to carry out and preserve those things, and yet many people, even on the conservative side, and a lot of Christians, ignorantly,
- 36:49
- I mean, they see our politicians as if they're rulers instead of, you know, those who are supposed to be representing them.
- 36:56
- You know, our politicians should be asking us what we want. You know, of course they have some liberty to be able to enact and govern in such a fashion, yadda yadda yadda, but, you know, their primary goal is to, you know, do what their constituents put them in office to do.
- 37:13
- And whenever they break that contract, we have a right to impeach them and to kick them out of office and to fire them as those who represent us, because once they stop representing us, there is no longer a contract between us and them.
- 37:32
- So, you know, our task has really begun. Will we hold Trump to, you know, to be accountable to the people that put him in office?
- 37:41
- Will he actually take advantage of this new mandate to shut the border and to, you know, cease the war across the pond?
- 37:49
- Will he do those things? Will he actually uphold the beliefs of those evangelical
- 37:55
- Christians that put him in office? Will they actually knock on his door and remind him whom he represents as the people of the land?
- 38:06
- You know, what we need to do is this. We need to find a way, again, to make politics boring.
- 38:13
- You know, I call this, you know, make politics boring again. And what do I mean by this? I mean like deregulation, you know, the hands -off method of government.
- 38:23
- You know, government is almost in everything today. They're in health care. They're in our educational system.
- 38:29
- They're in your family these days. They take care of so much social things. You know, I wish there comes a time when we realize that we don't need government to be in every single aspect of our lives.
- 38:42
- You know, if we were actually ruled by a proper, you know, unifying law, then we can actually live responsibly as citizens and allow the government to basically just secure and protect those rights that we naturally have by the giving of God.
- 39:02
- But instead, we've allowed government to kind of participate in almost everything to the point where government has, you know, you know, bought everything and taken everything and has taken lead in everything and everything has become so politically divided.
- 39:14
- And now we have so much hands -on on social issues that could actually really be resolved on the local and state levels, but now they're, you know, national problems.
- 39:26
- And I hope there comes a time when, you know, conservatives remember that we're not just here to make
- 39:33
- America great again, but we're here to make America great again because there was a time when
- 39:40
- America was great because its politics was boring.
- 39:45
- You know, politicians did what politicians did, and the people of the land did what the people of the land did.
- 39:51
- You know, if you really wanted to be in politics, you were really invested, and you were a special individual. Now it's kind of like everything is political, and politicians are in everything.
- 40:01
- They're in your living room, they're in your school system, they're in your healthcare. Oh my. We have gone a long ways away.
- 40:09
- Let me continue to pick this up a little bit here. Let's see, what's the next topic?
- 40:14
- Okay, so, as I said before, you know, for conservatives, let's just not see Trump as this weird messiah.
- 40:20
- Let's not continue to vote pragmatically and support him, you know, unwittingly just because he represents the red.
- 40:27
- But rather, you know, let's remember to assess him critically, and if you're a
- 40:32
- Christian, biblically, right? It's true that the Republican Party has become kind of like the new rebel force and the new unifying force, but you know, a greater source of unity is actually salvation in Christ.
- 40:47
- You know, we are all made in the image of God, and we are all made to know and to be redeemed by God, and to come into his kingdom and be part of his great body, the church, to serve and love him.
- 40:59
- That is the greatest identity, and that is the greatest form of unity that surpasses skin color, it surpasses age, it surpasses ethnicity, everything.
- 41:09
- And let's not forget that. And, you know, one of the reasons why liberals have these mental meltdowns is because they don't have that kind of unity and stability in their lives, and now we are seeing it.
- 41:21
- But eventually, even those liberals that are screaming their heads off on TikTok, I believe, you know, as God's word says, foolishness always self -destruct.
- 41:31
- So I believe those liberals will, and anyone who will adopt their form of expression, will die off, and these fads will quickly cease, and we will greatly rejoice when they do, because man, those things are annoying.
- 41:47
- So, next topic is, what was the election actually about? So, alright, so it looks like we are at about 41 minutes, heading to 42 minutes here, so let's talk quickly about what the election was actually about.
- 42:02
- So, the election was really about, you know, the managerial elite class versus the people.
- 42:09
- You know, the people who represent the constitution and the correct form of government and the consent of the governed versus those who are this very small group of people who have become a sort of fourth branch of government that enact regulations and laws that, you know, we never called for or voted on.
- 42:29
- And they deem themselves as worthy as being our rulers, our perpetual rulers, and they're people that are not directly affected by the way we vote and the things that, and the desires that we actually are attempting to establish.
- 42:46
- That's what this election was really about, and it was well demonstrated through, you know, the two sides that have been contending, both the new
- 42:54
- Republican side and the, you know, the ever -reforming into a stronger form of communism, the
- 43:03
- Democratic side. You know, these two sides represent, you know, from a
- 43:09
- Christian and theological perspective, you know, there were elements of good and evil at work here.
- 43:15
- This was a battle of ideas. This was a battle between philosophies. You see, no one can escape philosophy.
- 43:21
- You either do philosophy really well or you do it really badly. This was, you know, a battle between worldviews, and that battle extended to being a difference between several things, including, it was a battle between, you know, unrestricted immigration versus legal immigration.
- 43:42
- It was a battle between child sacrifice and a battle between the sanctity of human life.
- 43:48
- It was a difference between dependence on other nations or self -sufficiency in our economy.
- 43:55
- It was a battle between censorship and free speech. It was a battle between handouts and free money versus work and earn, what you work for, right?
- 44:07
- It was a battle between emotionalism, which we saw this entire week that Trump has been president -elect, versus logic.
- 44:15
- It was a battle between race and values and merits. It was a battle between red against blue versus unity.
- 44:23
- It was a battle between socialism and capitalism. It was a battle between self -religion and the historic religion.
- 44:30
- It was a battle between deconstruction and regression versus preservation.
- 44:37
- It was a battle between propaganda and actual research. You see, this has been quite the ride, and I think we're in for the long haul here, and we should plan to be aware of, you know, the things that are going on under the surface so that we can never lose sight of what the true purpose and plans of God ought to be and how his people are supposed to see the world they are currently interacting with.
- 45:07
- You see, this political election year, now that we've gotten past the actual election itself, but this new paradigm we are entering into where Trump is representing the new force for good versus the big democratic machine, you know, this really has centered around, you know, it's like racial politics, good and evil versus, you know, the historical things that we have tested, that have been tried and true, that we know that have worked and have sustained
- 45:45
- Western civilization. What we need to do is we need to remember to be coherent in our assessment of these things, being alert, staying wise, and that's through reading
- 45:57
- God's laws. We need to remember to refine and establish a proper and valid worldview.
- 46:04
- We need to remain patriotic and love our upbringing, our heritage, and our nation, which helps us find and know what our true
- 46:15
- American identity is. We are an established country already. We have a history and a culture.
- 46:22
- We have laws and a structure. Let's not allow anyone to rob that from us, but let's also not allow that to hang in midair.
- 46:29
- Let's remember that that American identity is actually rooted in something that was way before it, which was biblical
- 46:37
- Christianity founded upon the lordship of Jesus Christ and his word.
- 46:43
- So then, I think I will wrap it up and end here by saying this. Christ is on the throne, organizing all events in history towards his wonderful plan.
- 46:55
- The 2024 election was just a part of the great God's plan in heaven and in the world.
- 47:00
- One thing that we often forget is that America may not be here in another hundred years, but the thing that will still be here until all enemies are made a footstool for his feet is the church, the body of Christ.
- 47:14
- As Christians, we're not to despair and lose our minds like the unhinged liberals of TikTok, but instead what we need to do is we need to continue to show ourselves approved unto
- 47:23
- God by studying, growing in his word and the freedom of his grace to serve him and to participate.
- 47:29
- Yes, participate in all areas of life and in that great reconciling work that he is doing in the world for his glory.
- 47:37

- 48:46
