- Today's question is, why did God create such a vast universe and other planets if there is only life on earth?
- 00:08
- In this video I'll answer that question from a biblical perspective. Then afterwards, as always,
- 00:13
- I'll share some helpful resources, so stick around until the end. The question of whether God created life on other planets is certainly fascinating.

- Psalm 19, verse 1 says that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows

- When we see a breathtaking view of the Milky Way or peer at Saturn through a telescope, we are amazed at the wonders of God.

- God so immense to make all that and call it the work of His fingers.
- 01:27
- Furthermore, Psalm 147, verse 4 tells us that He counts the number of the stars,

- 01:44
- Indeed, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has stretched out the heavens.

- When I call to them, they stand up together. Isaiah 48, verse 13.

- Space and planets were created for God's glory. We know that stars and planets outside our solar system exist, and these too were created for the glory of God.

- A constantly expanding universe is yet another conjecture that has yet to be proven.
- 02:14
- The next star further than the sun is over four light -years away, and that isn't even a measurable fraction of the size of the known universe, expanding or not.
- 02:25
- As to whether there is life on other planets, we simply do not know. So far, no evidence of life on the other planets of our solar system has been found.
