Hard QUESTION for "Church of Christ"

"And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” -Luke 5:20 This is a favorite proof text for many "Church of Christ", and they emphasize the part says Jesus "saw their faith," to meaning their works. This verse actually works against the CoC position because the paralytic man did no works and had his sins forgiven! Why? Because Jesus saw his heart of faith. Brother Adam and I go more in depth in explaining the exegesis of Luke 5:20 starting @1:06:33 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGlBCqw0x-w&t=3992s

Okay, thank you, Travis. Next question comes in from the Apologetic Dog. Thank you very much for your question for Travis Thomas.
00:09
And the question is, in Luke 5, the paralytic's sins were forgiven before he arose and picked up his bed.
00:18
What works did the paralytic do to be saved? I said, this is a good question because I asked this question in a debate with one of his members, and I asked, in verse 20 it says, and when he saw their faith, he said, unto him, man, thy sins are forgiven.
00:36
So what they did, Jesus referenced that as their faith. So what this guy,
00:43
Jeremiah, a Calvinist, he actually needs to repent too. If you go on my YouTube, you can watch he lies and he doesn't even repent.
00:50
So Calvinists say he was never saved to begin with. But anyways, he says that the paralytic sins were forgiven before he arose and picked up his bed.
01:01
What works did the paralytic do to be saved? Well, the Calvinist would say, you don't have to do anything, but that's not what the text is actually saying, the things they did.
01:13
So I think I was pretty much done, but it says, what works did the paralytic do to be saved?
01:18
Well, we understand that his friends did most of the work. He was paralyzed, but it is a whole mutual of that group of what they did.
01:29
And so when Jesus says he saw their faith, he actually saw their action. And I don't think that you would be referencing today that you can just sit at home and not even hear the gospel and be saved.
01:41
That's kind of what it sounds like. You're just stating that you don't have to do anything today from this example.
01:46
All right, Luke 5, 18, and behold, a man brought in a bed of a man which was taken with a palsy, and they sought means to bring him in and lay him before him.
01:58
Again, these guys brought him in through the roof in verse 20, and when they saw their faith, they were doing something, and it was in referencing to their faith.
02:08
Now, they didn't have a dead faith. They had a faith which worketh by love. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said unto him,
02:15
Man, thy sins are forgiven. So unless you're thinking that your friends are somehow contributing to an individual who doesn't believe, this makes no logical sense that you're trying to use this verse.
02:31
It would be like that if Charles had a child, and he was 15 and didn't know nothing about the gospel, that somehow
02:39
Charles' faith could be moved over to the child without him even doing anything. That's kind of the way you're presenting this, so I don't get it.
02:51
So again, one body, which is the body, his body, which is his church, the church of Christ.
02:58
I mean, man, if you just had some little bit of common sense, you'd think he drove by these denominations where it says Grandma's Church, Baptist Church, Methodist Church, Life Church.
03:08
I mean, he drove an hour and 20 minutes here, and they act like they give God the glory, and Jesus loves him.
03:14
Grandma's Church, Baptist Church, Presbyterian Church, Church of Christ. Same thing, again, they deny redemption.
