Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Justin Peters. I hope that you and your family are doing well today. I want to thank you very much for watching this short little video, and I'm doing this video just to let you know about a new resource that I have available on my website, and it is this little book entitled

Santa Paws, a Biblical Perspective of Santa Claus. It's a short little book, very thin as you can see.

It's only about 30 pages or so, and it goes into the biblical and theological reasons why

Santa should not be a part of our Christmas traditions, whatever they may be for you.

And I might add, it's entirely up to you whether or not you even celebrate Christmas, or any other holiday for that matter.

Romans 14 verse 5, one man regards one day above another, another man regards every day the same.

Let each one be convinced in his own mind. So I know some Christians prefer not to celebrate

Christmas, or Easter slash Resurrection Day, or whatever. That's perfectly fine if that's where you are.

Other Christians do enjoy observing Christmas and Resurrection Sunday. That's perfectly fine too, so whatever you want to do.

Romans 14 verse 5 covers all of us. You've heard a lot of the arguments against Santa undoubtedly.

Well, when you tell your kids about Santa, you're lying to them. That is true. You are. It's a valid reason.

You've maybe also heard, well, when you tell your kids that Santa is real, then they grow up a little bit, they find out that he's not.

Then they will also begin to doubt if Jesus is real, because you told them about Jesus too, and maybe he's not real either if Santa's not.

That's also a valid argument. But this book does a deeper dive.

It talks about those things, but it also goes into the history of Santa, and the history of Santa is not nearly as genteel as a lot of people imagine it to be.

It's actually quite dark. But also into the attributes of God. God and Santa share many of the same attributes, even

God's incommunicable attributes. He unfortunately shares with Santa, and it goes into a pretty deep dive into all of those issues as well.

And so it really is an irrefutable case that Santa should not be part of the

Christian Christmas tradition. By God's grace, it has been received quite well thus far.

Now, a little bit of background here. So a year or so ago, I did a video on Santa detailing all of the reasons why

Christians should not do that or have that as part of their Christmas tradition. I got an email from a gentleman named

Tim. Tim is Santa Claus, or he was in a sense.

Long story short, Tim was a real Santa. In fact, he took this seriously.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas.

He was really serious about all this stuff. He looked apart. Even just a month before I posted my video that he watched, a month before that, he got married to a lady named

Brenda. He and Brenda were both widows. They had both lost their spouses.

But they got married about a month before I put my video up. They even had a

Santa -themed wedding. He was in his very expensive Santa robe.

I mean, the whole nine yards. I mean, this guy took it seriously. But he watched my video, and he's a believer, and the

Lord convicted him about it. He said he was angry for about 15 minutes. In fact, I'll put a link in the description below to that video that I'm talking about.

I think it'll really encourage you. But I was just so encouraged by that. Everything that I talked about in my video, warning people about Santa, is in this written form.

But maybe you have some friends who are also struggling with this, or some family members or whatever, and they're trying to decide, what do we do with Santa?

Maybe they're on the fence, or maybe they're really not a big fan of Santa, but they need some more ammunition, some more arrows in the quiver, so to speak, to know how to to give a biblical reasoned defense for not doing
