Christians Are Doing Terrifying Things

It's surprising how many people who call themselves Christians do not see a problem with immersing themselves in the depravity and debauchery of the world.

They love the things of the world and they believe they can participate in all aspects of the world, including the sinful parts, while at the same time, be faithful Christians who are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ.

TV show that encourages married couples to cheat on their spouses with attractive single people living in the same home.

A lot of you may wonder like, what is my religion? I would consider myself a Christian, a follower of Christ.

You guys are actually going to get the ultimate whole path to explore what life would be like with someone other than your spouse.

We already saw a clip from Pastor Mike Todd of Transformation Church, who has the mindset of doing everything short of sin in order to provide an entertaining and emotional experience for people.

I felt the religious people, their booties got tight right there. Even things that are not inherently sinful in themselves become sinful when we elevate them to a place that is higher than they belong.

God? For many Christians, their God is not actually the God of the Bible, but rather secular culture and entertainment.

They would rather enjoy things in the culture that completely contradict the Bible in God's moral commands, such as music artists and movies that mock biblical truth, than stand firmly against the evil they represent.

For example, I know of Christians who love and promote the music of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears, even though these artists strongly and explicitly promote sexual immorality or the

LGBTQ agenda, perhaps both. Bless God and bless the gays.

To all those who feel different, if you're a part of a group that's called Other, a group that does not get the chance to be center stage, build your own stage and make them see you, your queerness is beautiful.

To God and the gays. Congratulations! When we approve of and celebrate things in this world that stand in direct opposition to God and righteousness, those things have essentially become our gods, rather than the

God who commands us to flee from sin and evil. You say, well, brother Paul, it wasn't really your God. Let me just share something with you.

The thing that most consumes your thoughts is your God. It's tragic that so many

Christians believe they are actually reaching the world by becoming just like the world, when the reality is that by compromising on clear biblical teachings to supposedly reach the world, they are no longer reaching the world with the true gospel of Jesus Christ, but rather something completely different.

Do you feel that homosexuality is a sin? You know, I can't honestly answer on that.

I have too many people that I love that they are homosexual. I don't know. I can't say one way or the other.

I'm not God. So when people ask questions like that, that's what my go -to is.

I just say, read the Bible and find out for yourself. And when you find out, let me know because I'm learning. Let's say one of your male sons comes to you at 20, 23 years old and says, hey, dad, this is my husband.

We're engaged. We're going to get married next month, and I want you to be in the wedding. If anything, we will dialogue so that I can have a better understanding because I don't profess to be like,

I got this all figured out and I know the way this should be. It gets even worse with Amy Grant, who has decided to be so pro -LGBTQ that she hosted a gay wedding on her property.

And not only has she directly and personally affirmed the marriage, more than this, the wedding actually involves one of Amy's own relatives, her niece.

When our desire to be accepted by the world overshadows clear biblical teaching, we are no longer serving

Christ, but rather our own God of being accepted by the culture. But you and I have to realize we can be enslaved to things of this world that so control us that we cannot serve

Christ. It's possible to say you have faith in God without having faith in the true

God of the Bible. This is what we see from many progressive and pro -LGBTQ

Christians today. Would you mind going ahead and praying with me now, Mother God, Creator God, Loving God, Holy God.

I think just like faith in God and I always speak to people like that can encourage me.

Even now, I'll speak to like my pastor and be like, can you just pray with me? I mean, I obviously reject that I have fallen into apostasy or deconverted.

You deny scripture as the ultimate foundation of life. You are an apostate. God is real and God lives inside of me.

But for those professing Christians, it's obvious that their priority is not at all submission to all that the

Bible teaches. Well, I just have to ask you one question. What do you think about most?

What do you think about most? You've pretty much put your finger on your God by what you think about most.

It's extremely common for people to profess to be Christian, yet behave in a manner that does not align with their

Christian faith. Take a look at this disturbing video of how Stephen Crowder, who says he is a

Christian man to treat his wife in the way we just saw. Everything has the possibility in our flesh to be elevated to the status of idol.

It's also very common for people who say they are Christian to care more about money and earthly success than about faithfully serving

God and proclaiming the full gospel to the world. Matthew 6, 24. No one can serve two masters for either he will hate the one and love the other or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

You cannot serve God and wealth. He said, yes, brother Paul, you need to really be talking to the rich.

Let me tell you something. I have seen rich enslaved to wealth and I have seen poor enslaved to wealth.

Matter of fact, I have. Listen to what Joel Osteen and Oprah Winfrey say about prosperity and notice that the gospel is completely missing from Joel Osteen's mouth.

Osteen's message is about earthly success, not about being saved from sin and the wrath of God, which is what lost sinners really need to hear about.

And I was thinking, well, why would anybody criticize you for preaching prosperity? Because what kind of God wants you to be poor and miserable?

That's the way I feel as well. When we elevate anything else in the world above humble submission to God's word and commands in the

Bible, we are destroying our own souls because the things of this world simply have absolutely no power to save.

The things of this world we are warned about, they're passing away. You're serving a God that's dying.

You're serving a God that is dying. Both children and adults today are so often controlled by the media and the culture in a way that takes away their devotion to and focus upon Jesus Christ, which is far more important, far more essential than anything else in this world.

We must cling to Christ and not let the things of this world take over our lives and destroy our souls.

We buy things. We fill them full of media. We put them into the world.

We carry them every place on the face of the earth all throughout the week. Our lives are so busy and scattered.

We can't even sit down and have a meal. And what are we doing? We're making our children enslaved to the very master that enslaves us and ruins our lives.

Instead of teaching our children, only one thing is needed. Devotion to Christ. Slavery to Christ.
