- In Article II, Section 2, it talks about the purpose of government. It says, All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.

- So if you vote yes on a resolution that deprioritizes the enforcement of standing abortion laws or seeks to encourage the legislature to rescind state abortion laws that outlaw abortion services, you are in direct violation of the oath that you took, and I would really encourage you to stand down.

- Why? Because abortion is the premeditated killing of an innocent human being with malice aforethought.
