Yeah, it does, but what we're gonna do is we're gonna unpack this all, take a look at what's going on with the theology, how she's handling the biblical text, because in doing that, it'll help protect you and others from Katie Souza and other people who misuse the

Bible in this way, quite blasphemously too, if you think about it. Alright, so let's turn on the desktop and whirl this up, and so,

Yeah, you can get miracles while you sleep. You can get them while you sleep. Now, a little bit of a note here.

It's absolutely true that God can answer prayer any time of the day he chooses to.

He can answer prayer in the morning, in the afternoon, at lunchtime. He could do so at 3 in the afternoon, 5 p .m.

at dinnertime, and even during the hours that you're sleeping. God can answer your prayers any time of the day, but we're gonna put the emphasis on the word get, you know, and so the question is, what do

I need to do in order to get a miracle in the nighttime? That's the issue, and we're gonna learn a word along the way, and the word is grift, grifter.

Have you heard of grifters? I believe that Katie Souza qualifies as one of these. The dictionary is a person who engages in petty or small -scale swindling.

Yeah, so it's Katie G Souza. Katie grifter Souza, I think is the better way of referring to her, and you'll see that as this episode unfolds, but let's let's let them kind of spin this out.

Now, think of it. You spend about a third of your life sleeping. Yeah. So that's a wonderful thing.

Yes. Miracles while you sleep. Katie, real quick, what are the kind of things we can get while we sleep?

What are the kind of things we can get while we sleep? Is Jesus like Santa Claus now?

You know, he sees you when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake, because Jesus is gonna come flying down the chimney while you're sleeping, and he's gonna give you stuff.

Yeah, there's some something really wrong here. I've seen all kinds of stuff. Emotional healings.

She's seen all kinds of stuff. Strongholds in the mind being healed during a nap, during the sleep.

I've seen strongholds in your mind being healed while you're taking a nap. Now, I'm gonna note something here, that this follows like the standard charismatic template for scams and flim -flam and wackerdoodlism.

Let me explain here, because you're gonna know, what is she doing? She's giving us her claims, her testimony, and of course, since It's Supernatural, the

It's Supernatural network is having her on, of course she's been vetted, and of course she's sound and solid.

I mean, after all, Dr. Michael Brown is really good friends with Sid Roth, and he's even guest hosted for him on It's Supernatural, so we can trust that, well, she's on the level, you know?

Uh -huh. But you're gonna know. So here's the standard template. Extraordinary claims to the miraculous that seem to sound like it's normal everyday ho -hum for the person who's up on stage or being interviewed, and no documentation is ever presented.

Yeah, at least we're not gonna get any documentation here. So we're just gonna get the extraordinary claims to the miraculous with no documentation at all.

So that's step number one. Physical healings, crazy physical healings. For myself,

I've had many, including having bladder infection healed, yeast infection healed. Yeah, we covered that a while ago.

She claimed that she had a demonic yeast infection that was healed. It's true. It's in the archives of our program here at YouTube.

Losing weight supernaturally. I lost 10 pounds one night. Intentionally, I said,

I'm gonna lose weight tonight, and I did. I woke up 10 pounds lighter. I made sure I weighed myself before and after, so it was true.

Oh, it's true, because she weighed herself before and after, you know. Uh -huh. Is there documentation of this, or are we just gonna take your word for it?

This stuff is coming from God. Yes, while you sleep. So let's talk about one specific one.

You had a dramatic healing of ribs while you spoke, or while you slept. A dramatic healing of her ribs while she slept.

So you had an accident several years ago, where you broke two ribs. Yes. Tell me about that accident.

What happened when you got healed? So I was going to this meeting, and we were driving down this highway called, it's nicknamed the

I'll -Killer Highway. Okay, I'm in the back seat, and somebody pulls across the highway in front of us.

We're doing 65, and our driver tried to swerve, and we t -bowled the guy.

There's no way out of it. So I end up having, it's a hemothorax, where your lungs get punctured, and they start filling up with liquid and blood, so I couldn't breathe.

That's scary. It was very scary. It's like you're drowning, and I was there going, trying to gasp for breath.

I broke two ribs. I was, you know, bruised up and everything else. The ambulance comes, throws me in there.

They got oxygen on me. I'm trying to breathe. I can't talk. They're asking me questions I can't answer, because my lungs are full of blood and fluid.

Boy, she can really tell a story, can't she? Yeah, and that's what she's doing. She's telling a story. And so I'm sitting there, praying in my mind,

God, do this. Heal me. You know, release power. Holy Spirit, release power. The whole time I'm praying that.

They take me to the hospital. It's the busiest night it ever had, of course. They take me into the surgery.

They're about to drill a hole in my chest, so they can suck out the fluid so I can breathe.

And all of a sudden, God does the first of two miracles. And all of a sudden, I take this deep breath.

I'm immediately healed. The doctor's coming in, and I'm going, I just got a miracle. My name is Katie Sousa. I just had a miracle.

Hi, my name is Katie Sousa. What's the doctor's name? Can we see the medical records on this, please?

I'm sure that after, you know, such an amazing thing, they were getting ready to perform a very, very important emergency procedure on you, that I'm sure they put in the notes.

Procedure not necessary. Could we get your doctor to release those medical records, please?

I'm telling that to everybody that came in, right? And then I'm like, wow, this is great. But my ribs were still broken.

So it's only a partial healing. Okay. Yeah. So I'm in horrible pain, and they're telling me, okay, ribs take eight weeks to heal.

And I'm like, no, I have stuff to do. You're busy with your ministry, speaking and so on.

Right. I was supposed to go to Brazil. And I'm like, oh, no. So I go home and we're praying. Everyone's praying because I'm like,

I need to go to Brazil. I need to get well. So we're praying. We're believing. I'm worshiping one night.

I'm worshiping like this. To worship you, I live, you know, holding my rib, right? And so my husband carries me to bed that night, puts me in bed, and I go to sleep.

And I have this dream. I have this dream. This woman is in my bedroom, painting a beautiful waterfall, living water, on my wall in front of me.

Boy, she's really spinning a yarn here, man. But again, the issue here is, there's no documentation of this.

This is just her telling a story. And I've been hearing her tell stories for more than a decade. She's just a storyteller, man.

I wake up in the morning. I'm completely healed. No pain. I know

I'm so healed that I immediately call my doctor, said, I need to go get an x -ray because my ribs are healed.

And he's like, it's impossible. You're barely two weeks into it. It takes eight weeks.

I'm like, I'm telling you, I've been healed. I want an x -ray. They go, they get the x -ray. I go to my doctor. He holds the

MRI up from what they took at the hospital after the accident. He holds up the x -ray and says, okay.

You're right. All right. So the documentation is there. You have the MRI from before, you have the x -ray from after.

Why don't you release them to the public, Katie? And have your doctor sign off on their authenticity.

So she says they're there. But, well, that's kind of the issue is that she doesn't provide them.

I mean, if I had a miracle like this occur to me, as amazing as this miracle sounds, you better believe that I would never be telling anybody about it if I wasn't providing also the x -ray and the

MRI and my doctor's signed affidavit that that is exactly what had happened.

It was a miracle. And so, you know, because talk is cheap. Anybody can make up stories.

And the one thing I've noticed in the charismatic movement is that the more outlandish the story, the less documentation that is needed when, in fact, there should be more.

So I don't know if this happened or not. And she has provided me no evidence that it has. So that's step number one.

Step number one is just tell the outlandish story. And of course, you know, we all believe in miracles and stuff like that.

So, you know, and so everyone goes, yay, praise God. Well, now the question comes up, because remember, the thing on the table is, how do

I make this happen so that I can get miracles while I'm sleeping?

How do I get this to happen? And so you're going to note the question itself, when you phrase it like that, it presupposes that there are steps that I need to go through in order for me to affect this result and to get it from God.

In other words, God has set up hoops. He expects you to jump through them. And once you jump through them, then on the other end of it, out pops the miracle while you're sleeping.

And so is that what the Bible teaches, by the way? Does the Bible teach that if you follow steps, and you're going to note, stay with me, because later in the episode, as the episode unfolds,

Katie is going to lay out the three things that you need to do in order to get nighttime miracles.

And I'm not going to tell you what they are right now, but when you see the list, you're going to sit there and go, yeah, no, that's not what the

Bible teaches. So you'll note here, they're not front -loading this with, here are the three steps that the

Bible teaches that you need to go through, that you need to do, you need to accomplish in order to get miracles while you sleep.

They don't front -load it with that. It begins first with the outrageous stories that are undocumented, then the twisting of Scripture, and the way she's going to twist

Scripture, I'll tell you right now, it's real simple. She's going to go into the biblical text where miracles occurred during nighttime and say, see, nighttime miracles are available to you.

But the reality is, is that none of the nighttime miracles that she lists have anything to do with people who followed the three steps for making sure that you can have miracles while you sleep.

And I'm going to note that one of the steps that is given, the third step that Katie gives, was impossible until very recently in human history.

In fact, none of the people in the Bible could have done step three.

Nobody. What's step three? Oh, wait till you hear. So I'm just putting it out there right now.

Step three, nobody could have done it until very recently. Certain technologies had to exist before it was even possible for you to do step three.

So, and wait till you hear the theology behind step three. So yeah, I want you to stay tuned because I want you to see this.

So there's a way in which the flow is working because they're trying to whet your appetite with her, these amazing claims to the miraculous.

Oh, this is just normal stuff for her, man. And then the question is going to be, is this biblical?

Now we're going to twist biblical text and we're going to look at nighttime miracles because the Bible does reference nighttime miracles, but none of the people referenced did the three steps.

But they don't tell you about the three steps until later in the program, once you're really hooked.

And then, of course, at the end, they're going to be selling Katie Souza's merchandise. But yeah, so let's go on to the next portion of this then as they get ready to go into a commercial and ask the question, is this in the

Bible? We're going to take a break right now. This is wonderful stuff. No, it's not.

It's flagrantly, obviously made up stuff. That you're getting interested in receiving miracles for yourself, but you might be.

Are you interested in receiving miracles for yourself? Now, here's the thing. Human beings suffer because of sin.

Yeah, we do. So there's somebody out there watching this, and they've got a report from their doctor.

They've been diagnosed, or they've been chronically ill for a long time. And they're going, I want miracles while I'm sleeping like Katie Souza has.

And so they're already hooked because they'll do anything in order to alleviate the suffering they're going through.

And that's who they're preying on, by the way, trying to get their money. It sounds great, but is it biblical?

I'm here with Katie Souza. And when we went to the break, I was asking the question, is this biblical?

Is this whole thing of getting miracles and breakthroughs from God during the night?

Getting, getting. Biblical. Katie, is it? Is this found in the

Bible? Are there examples? Oh, it's everywhere. It's everywhere. Oh, it's true that there are miracles that took place at night.

And by the way, we're going to weave into this a proper way of approaching, what do we do when we're experiencing suffering of one kind or another?

Maybe we've lost our job and we can't make ends meet. Maybe we have an illness that we need, we hope that God within His mercy deliver us from.

What do we do in times of trouble? And what about all of the anxieties of life?

What are we going to eat? What are we going to wear? How are we going to... All these kind of things. What's the biblical way?

I mean, truly biblical way of approaching this. We'll put that in here as well, but let's see where she goes.

The two texts she goes to first, these are great texts. I'll show you why in a minute here. I mean, just some fast examples.

Think about in Isaiah 36 through 38, where Jerusalem is surrounded by 185 ,000 bloodthirsty

Assyrians. They're trapped in the city. They're in famine, right? And what happens in the night while everyone in the city is asleep, no one's putting on their shield or their sword or going out for battle.

They're all asleep. An angel of the Lord comes and kills every single one of the enemies.

There's dead corpses found in their tent. No, absolutely. The Lord answered prayers.

He answered them at night. This is most certainly true. Now, this will be the first biblical text we're going to take a look at, and it's just a fantastic text, best way

I can put it. So let me go over here, Isaiah chapter 36.

Let's do a little reading in scripture, shall we, and take a look at the context of this. Again, three rules for sound biblical exegesis are context, context, and context.

This is a great story. It is a great story of God answering prayer.

And the nighttime bit of it, that's just the time when God chose to answer it.

And we're going to note here, Hezekiah did not follow Katie Sousa's three steps.

He didn't. What are the three steps? Not telling you yet.

Stay tuned. We'll wait till you hear step three, man. Anyway. All right. So in the 14th year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them.

And the king of Assyria sent the Rabshakeh from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem with a great army.

And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the washer's field, and there came out to him

Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household of Shebna, the secretary, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder.

So this is a historical narrative. We actually know the involved here. This isn't a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away in the midst of foggy, you know, mythical time.

No, no, no. This is actual human history here, and we know the key players. So the

Rabshakeh said to them, say to Hezekiah, thus says the great king of Assyria, on what do you rest this trust of yours?

Now, this is where the theology starts to get very good. Okay. You'll note that the

Rabshakeh, that he's there challenging the thing that Hezekiah is trusting, but the thing that Hezekiah is trusting is not a thing.

The thing that Hezekiah is trusting is whom? It is Yahweh himself, the one true

19:35

God, the God of Israel. His trust rests on Yahweh, on the

19:41

Lord. So this is a direct challenge and assault on God, the real

19:49

God, the only God that exists. The idols of Assyria don't even have any existence. So here's some trash talking by the

Rabshakeh. On what do you rest this trust of yours? Do you think that mere words are strategy and power for war?

20:07

In whom do you now trust that you have rebelled against me? Yahweh.

20:14

All right. Behold, you are trusting in Egypt, that broken reed of a staff. No, they're not. They're trusting in Yahweh, which will pierce the hand of any who leans on it, such as Pharaoh, king of Egypt, all who trust in him.

But if you say to me, we trust in Yahweh, our God, is it not he whose high places and altars

Hezekiah has removed, saying to Judah and Jerusalem, you shall worship before this altar?

So he's taking Hezekiah's tearing down of the high places and saying, no, we are to worship

Yahweh in Jerusalem, in the temple, as somehow, you know, some kind of theological inconsistency on his part.

What is this? You know, so he doesn't even understand that Hezekiah is truly being faithful to the word of God and the commands of scripture.

So come now, make a wager with my master, the king of Assyria, and I'll give you 2000 horses if you're able on your part to set riders on them.

How then can you repulse a single captain among the least of my master's servants when you trust in Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?

Moreover, it is without Yahweh that I have come up against this land to destroy it.

Yahweh said to me, go up against this land and destroy it. Liar. No, he didn't.

So now he's blaspheming. He's claiming that Yahweh spoke to him. And that's how all false prophets go.

So then Eliakim and Shebna and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it.

Do not speak to us in the language of Judah within the hearing of the people who are on the wall. But the

Rabshakeh said, has my master sent me to speak these words to your master and to you and not to the men sitting on the wall who are doomed to eat their own dung and drink their own urine?

Ooh, that's some trash talk right there. Man, this is bad. So then the Rabshakeh stood and called out in a loud voice in the language of Judah, hear the words of the great king, the king of Assyria.

Thus says the king, do not let Hezekiah deceive you for he will not be able to deliver you.

Do not let Hezekiah make you trust in Yahweh by saying Yahweh will surely deliver us.

This city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. Do not listen to Hezekiah for thus says the king of Assyria, make your peace with me and come out to me.

Then each one of you will eat his own vine and each one of you his own fig tree and each one of you will drink the water of his own cistern until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

This guy thinks he's like Yahweh, right? Beware lest Hezekiah mislead you by saying

Yahweh will deliver us. Has any of the gods of the nations delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

Well, the answer to that is no. And the reason for that is simple, they don't exist. So, where are the gods of Hamath and Arpah?

They never existed. Where are the gods of Shepharvaim? Have they delivered

23:24

Samaria out of my hand? Of course not, they don't exist. Who among all the gods of these lands have delivered their lands out of my hand that Yahweh should deliver

Jerusalem out of my hand? This guy's picked a fight with the one true god.

23:42

That ain't gonna go well for the Rabshicah, I'm just saying. So, but they were silent. They answered him not a word for the king's command was do not answer him.

So, then Eliakim, the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household in Shebna, the secretary, and Joah, the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn and told him the words of the

Rabshicah. And as soon as King Hezekiah heard it, he tore his clothes.

He covered himself with sackcloth, and he went into the house of Yahweh. And now you're going to note here, Hezekiah doesn't presume.

He humbles himself, and he calls out to God in the day of trouble, and God hears him, right?

So, then he sent to Eliakim, who was over the household in Shebna, the secretary, and the senior priest covered with sackcloth, to the prophet

Isaiah, the son of Amoz. And they said to him, thus says Hezekiah, this day is a day of distress, of rebuke, and of disgrace.

Children have come to the point of birth, and there's no strength to bring them forth. It may be that Yahweh, your

God, will hear the words of the Rabshicah, whom his master, the king of Assyria, has sent to mock the living

God, and will rebuke the words that Yahweh, your God, has heard. Therefore, lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.

Humbles himself. No decreeing, no declaring, no commanding, no controlling.

Sackcloth, ashes, and fervent appeals. Please, maybe the

Lord will hear us. Doesn't presume. Doesn't act presumptuously at all. So when the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah, Isaiah said to them, and so now the real prophet speaks,

Isaiah said to them, say to your master, thus says Yahweh, do not be afraid because of the words that you have heard with which the young men of the king of Assyria have reviled me.

Behold, I will put a spirit in him so that he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land, and I will make him fall by the sword of his own land.

The Rabshicah returned and found the king of Assyria fighting against Libna, for he had heard that the king had left

Lachish, and the king heard concerning Tirhahka, king of Cush.

He had set out to fight against you, and when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah saying, thus shall you speak to Hezekiah, the king of Judah.

Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you by promising that Jerusalem will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.

Oh, God doesn't deceive. The one true God, Yahweh, no way, man.

He speaks, and when he speaks, it happens. Even if it delays, he always keeps his word.

So behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all the lands, devoting them to destruction, and shall you be delivered?

Have the gods of the nations delivered them, the nations that my father destroyed, Gozon, Haran, Rezeph, and the people of Eden who were in Telassar?

Where is the king of Hamath, the king of Arpad, the king of the city of the Shefarim, the king of Hanna, the king of Eva?

Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it, and Hezekiah went to the house of Yahweh, and he spread it before Yahweh, and Hezekiah prayed to Yahweh.

Oh, Yahweh, the God of armies, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, enthroned above the cherubim.

You are the God. You are the God. You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth, you have made the heavens and the earth.

Incline your ear, oh Yahweh, and hear. Open your eyes, oh Yahweh, and see, and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to mock the living

God. Truly, oh Yahweh, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations of their lands and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone.

Therefore, they were destroyed. So now, oh Yahweh, our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are

Yahweh. So then Isaiah, the son of Amoz, sent to Hezekiah, saying, and you've got to note, this kind of tears me up, but man,

God hears our prayers and the humbleness of Hezekiah, the non -presumptuousness, just the heartfelt appeal, and even just the humbleness in saying, please incline your ear and hear, and open your eyes and see.

I mean, this is just a great prayer. And here's the thing, the

God who answered this prayer is the God who hears yours. And so, when you are in your time of need, in your day of distress, his ear is not far from you, and it is not closed to you.

His eyes are not shut, and he doesn't see. And so, this is the

God who appeals to you and says, call out to me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you.

This is the same God who promises to give you your daily bread. And so, you're going to note here that God is, you know, especially,

I'm going to put it this way, those of you who are Christians, you are the adopted children of God.

You are covered in the righteousness of Christ. Your sins have been forgiven. Scripture says, the prayer of a righteous man availeth much, a much.

And the reason for it is simple, because they are clothed in the righteousness of Christ. So, that's you, this same

God who heard the prayers of Hezekiah. Scripture says in the

Psalms, let my prayers rise before you as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

In Revelation, on more than one occasion, the prayers of the saints are depicted as being gathered up in golden bowls, and mixed with incense, and brought before the altar of God, and they rise up to God, a beautiful smell.

And so, note then that real prayer, humble prayer to God is heard by God.

And He has basically said, pray to me, I will deliver you.

Even if the deliverance is going to result in your death today, you will be delivered when the resurrection occurs, when

Christ appears in glory to judge the living and the dead. So, again, the story kills me on the inside, because it's just so amazing.

And it pains me that Katie Sousa would use such a glorious story and manipulate this for the purpose of this petty larceny of hers to steal money from people in the name of God.

And she's a blasphemer of the highest order. So, Isaiah, the son of Amos, sent to Hezekiah, thus says

Yahweh, the God of Israel, because you have prayed to me concerning Sennacherib, the king of Assyria.

There they are, they're praying for him, and they said to her, you're out of your mind. But she kept insisting that it was so, and they kept saying, maybe it's his angel.

But Peter continued knocking, when they opened, they saw him, and they were amazed. But motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he described to them how the

Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, tell these things to James and to the brothers, and then he departed and went to another place.

This is a text about answered prayer. So let's let Katie Susack spin out her twisting of this text, a hijack it, and then we'll get to the actual meat and potatoes part, where she is going to lay out what she claims are the three things that you need to do so that God will give you miracles while you sleep, which is not what any of these texts is about.

Hard, that when the angel of the Lord came to deliver him from his captivity, it says that the angel had to smote him in the side to wake him up, wake up, get dressed, we're escaping from prison.

And Peter gets up and the angel leads him out of locked doors, the chains fall off right off his hands.

He wakes up like in the middle of the street going, wow, that really did happen. I thought it was a vision. In the night, it happened while he was asleep.

So now you can see how this works. So you begin with these outrageous, unsubstantiated, undocumented claims to miracles, because Katie Susack, she operates in miracles the way fish operate by swimming in water.

It's just an everyday kind of occurrence for her. And then, is this biblical? You can have miracles while you sleep?

Of course it is. And then she's twisted two texts right off the bat, which are about prayer.

And that's what prayer is. It's a humble asking and beseeching to God to meet your needs in your time of trouble and distress, even to meet your needs even when you're not in distress.

What Jesus taught us to pray, give us this day our daily bread. Any food that's on your table, it's a miracle and an answer to prayer from God.

So already we're up to, this is not good. I want to receive breakthroughs and miracles and so on from God during the night.

And Katie, so can I just watch five hours of TV, brush my teeth, jump in bed, and go, okay, hit me,

God. How do I make this happen? Right, okay. How do I make this happen?

This is where the theology is here. So, you know, God does a sovereign move sometimes like he did with Jacob.

I mean, think about it. Jacob wasn't doing anything holy. He was running for his life and he was exhausted, and one of the biggest visitations happened.

Yeah, you remember the, you know, while Jacob was sleeping, you know, Jacob's ladder, he saw the angels ascending and descending up this ladder into heaven and God making a promise to him.

Yeah, he didn't follow any steps, that's for sure. But then also there's other times when we need to prepare or position ourselves to get it.

Oh, so we got to prepare and position ourselves in order to get it. So how does one prepare and position themself in order to get a nighttime miracle?

Abraham did. He got the animals. God said, prepare this offering for me.

And he, you know, he sacrificed. No, that's not how the Azusa and covenant that God cut with Abraham worked.

And split them and he waited and waved the vultures away when they tried to eat it. So sometimes

God just moves. Thank you, Jesus. I love those moments. But sometimes we do need to position ourselves.

So how do we do that? Yeah. So how does one position themselves to get a nighttime miracle? Well, for one, worship is really important.

All right. So step number one, and I've created a little thing here. So we're going to follow along.

How to position yourself for nighttime miracles. Katie Sousa's three easy steps. Step one, okay, is worship.

Okay. So worship is step one. That's how you position yourself. Okay. Let's come back to her on this then and see where we go with this.

People spend, you know, a lot of times people have a daily practice of spending time in the morning with God.

And I love that. But I also spend time with God at night before I go to bed because I know... Oh, see, yeah.

If you just started off with morning worship and you didn't go with nighttime worship, you know, she does the nighttime worship thing.

Now, by the way, this view of worship is very weird. Okay. Have you ever heard of the phrase, the

Yeah. It's a bad view that Rome has regarding how certain things work.

It's just by the mere working of the work. So you just need to go out and worship. But the thing is, does

Scripture teach that just merely worshiping, that somehow that's going to position you for miracles and stuff?

The answer is no. And let me show you where. It's in Amos chapter 5. Amos chapter 5.

Listen to what Yahweh says to the people of Israel who are steeped in wickedness. Man, you want to hear a rebuke from God against people who just worship

God with their lips, but their hearts are far from God? Read Amos.

It'll peel the enamel off the front of your eyeballs, man. It'll burn your hair off.

Amos is quite the prophet. But listen to what God says through the prophet Amos to the children of Israel who were worshiping

God. And God says, I hate, I despise your feasts.

I take no delight in your solemn assemblies. And even though you offer me burnt offerings and grain offerings,

I will not accept them. And the peace offerings of your fattened animals, I will not look upon them.

Take away from me the noise of your songs. To the melody of your harps, I will not listen.

But let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever flowing stream.

Yeah, this is a rebuke from God coming from people who were just going through the motions, who really didn't even have faith in God or fear or love or trust

Him at all. So their worship didn't position them for nothing because God hated the noise of their worship, wouldn't even listen to it.

So that's kind of a problem here. So step one to position yourself, oh, you just, you need to engage in worship.

How much? Well, just make sure you do it at night. We continue.

That the enemy is going to try to resist us having a download from God, having a visitation from God.

And I know that if I worship... Wait, wait, wait, what? The devil's going to resist you from having a download and a visitation from God?

What scripture says that? I'm going to back this up. At night before I go to bed, because I know that the enemy is going to try to resist us having a download from God, having a visitation from God.

And I know that if I worship, that resistance will be removed. And also, it'll open up the realm of God's presence.

When you worship, the glory comes. And in the glory is a presence. And in the presence is a visitation.

All right, so let me add more to our thing. So three steps for positioning yourself to get a nighttime miracle.

Number one is worship. And according to Katie Sousa, this removes demonic resistance. And then when you worship, the glory comes.

And glory equals presence and brings nighttime visitation. That's what she just said.

Is that what the Bible teaches? No, the Bible doesn't teach this at all.

So let me back this up just a little bit. Listen to her again. ...will be removed. And also, it'll open up the realm of God's presence.

When you worship, the glory comes. And in the glory is a presence. And in the presence is a visitation in the night.

So many times I will worship. Sometimes if I'm really pressing in for a breakthrough, I'll anoint my whole body, worship, and then

I'll pray in tongues. Why tongues? Because sometimes when we go to bed at night, we're completely filled with the thoughts of...

All right, now, so step two. All right, let's see what we got here. Let me, let's see here.

Step two, pray in tongues. But here's the issue. And this is one that I point out with regularity.

1 Corinthians 12 makes it clear that tongues is not a universal gift given by God.

Nope. 1 Corinthians 12, 27. You are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

And God is appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

Are all apostles. And so let's pull up our Greek here, and I'll just point this out.

This word right here, may, when it's in a question in Koine Greek, it means that the question being asked must be answered in the negative.

You turn it on, and you let all that hot water pour out before you put it up to your mouth to drink it, because it literally scalds your lips, but when you pray in tongues, it's getting all that noise and all that junk out.

Yeah, again, yeah, I don't have the gift of tongues. A lot of good this is gonna do me.

But then the big key for me, Bob, was to get a word.

Okay, so here's the big key. Get a word, and she means get an actual word from God. I'll let her explain it to you.

I'm dealing with, what I'm hoping for, what I'm struggling against. He'll give me a word from a chapter and be like, wow, that word is for me.

And then I will take that and play that whole audio chapter on an audio Bible on repeat all night long so that the promises and the direction of God can be played over me.

And then the angels will do what they did with Jacob, hearken to the voice of his word, go up into heaven, get the stuff

I need, descend back down the ladder and bring it to me. Now that's a... Now I'm going to let her spin that out.

Let's take a look at our keynote here. So step three, I've been telling you, step three is a step that nobody could have done until very recently.

But these are the three ways to position yourself to get a nighttime miracle, worship, pray in tongues, and then get a word from God.

Bible that God gives you. So God, what do you want me to be meditating on tonight? And God says, I want you to be meditating on Isaiah chapter 22.

This then, according to her, causes angels to hearken to the word of God and go up to heaven and get the stuff that I need and descend back down the ladder and then bring it to me.

Now, let's kind of fill something in here. And that is this, is that when it comes to our needs, we've already been pointing out that as Christians, scripture tells us to pray.

But the heart of prayer is belief and trust in God, and belief that your heavenly

Father hears you. And the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and recognizing that you are a sinner, forgiven by Christ of all of your sins, and that he has accomplished your salvation on the cross.

He died and rose again, according to the scriptures, in order for your sins to be forgiven. In fact, he died for your sins and mine.

And so you'll note then that because we, although we were born under the dominion of darkness, under the power of the devil,

God in his mercy has forgiven us in Christ, and we are adopted then, and we are children of God.

And so the idea then is that, do you believe that or not? And so life is always going to be full of anxieties.

Life is going to be full of difficulties and suffering and distresses. And so listen to the words of Jesus in this regard.

Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you'll eat, what you'll drink, nor about your body, what you'll put on.

Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air.

They neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

And you are. And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to a span of life?

In fact, I would argue that being anxious shortens your life, it doesn't lengthen it. And why are you anxious about clothing?

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin. Yet I tell you, even Solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you?

And here's the issue. Oh, you of little faith. Therefore, do not be anxious saying, what shall we eat?

What shall we drink? What shall we wear? The Gentiles seek after these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

And here's the solution. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

And all these things will be added to you. You've sung this in church, seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, right?

But what does it mean to seek his righteousness? This is the righteousness that is promised by grace through faith, the righteousness that is from God.

As Paul says in Philippians 3, not having a righteousness of my own that comes by the law, but the righteousness that is by faith for all who believe.

And so, seeking first the kingdom of God is seeking first his forgiveness and the righteousness and reconciliation that is given as a gift by faith in Christ.

And he will add, he will take care of all of these needs. Seek his kingdom first, his righteousness, which is given as a gift, and all these things will be added to you.

In fact, when it comes to prayer and this mindset then, you'll note, we'll take a look at a couple of good exhortations, first from Peter and then also from Paul.

And then we'll just kind of wrap up with the Psalms. Peter says, humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you, and he does.

He cares for you, and he cares about all the circumstances and the needs that you have.

He is your heavenly Father, and he cares for you so much that he sent his only begotten Son to bleed and die for your sins, so that you can be forgiven and reconciled and be the children of God again.

So, he cares for you. So, be sober -minded, be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.

Resist him firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

And after you've suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, he will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Paul writes it this way in Philippians 4, rejoice in the

Lord always. Again, I'll say rejoice. So, let your reasonableness be known to everyone.

Psalm 37 says this, commit your way to the Lord, trust in him, he will act. Psalm 55, says cast your burden on Yahweh, he will sustain you, he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

So, you don't need to buy Katie Sousa's stuff, and these three steps that she concocted, they're not real.
