That is not what I'm saying however, I am saying that a great number in fact in all likelihood the majority of charismatics would go along with such claims and would believe such claims and Lest you think

I am being hyperbolic with that I assure you I'm not as you will see here just in a moment

I'm being harsh and saying that I'm not I can I mean Sid Roth has some of the looniest

Looniest most insane people you could ever imagine and he has them regularly on his program

Regularly, but this one this is the this is a woman named

Lil Defin Lil Defin and she is the great -granddaughter of Smith Wigglesworth Well, who is

Smith Wigglesworth Smith Wigglesworth is one of the revered God's generals within the charismatic movement charismatic movement has a number of people that Early charismatics early

Pentecostals whom they call referred to as God's generals People like John G.

Lake John Alexander Dowie William Branham Smith Wigglesworth one of them, of course

Charles Parham William Seymour and I've done kind of an overview of the history of the charismatic movement looked at some of these individuals and and To a person

Katherine Kuhlman, Amy Simpson Pearson to a person. They were hucksters frauds charlatans false prophets heretics and Sexually immoral but Smith Wigglesworth.

I don't know that he was sexually immoral, but he was certainly Certainly a false prophet and a huckster now

But he's revered as one of the great God's generals in the charismatic movement So all of that to say who is

Smith Wigglesworth? Well Smith Wigglesworth was born in 1859 died in 1947.

He's born in Yorkshire, England he was supposedly converted at age 8 and then later in 1882 he married a woman named

Mary Jane Featherstone and Mary Jane was a preacher in the

Salvation Army. Of course, that's a problem right there She was a she who was preaching doing something that only a he should be doing

But at any rate that's common in the charismatic movement women preach as much as do the men

Smith Wigglesworth was actually illiterate at the time that they married or at least at the time that they got to know one another and Mary Jane taught him to read and it is said of Smith Wigglesworth and once he learned to read he would only read

The Bible he wouldn't read anything else didn't read newspapers anything like that read only the

Bible he was a plumber by trade, but he began to preach and then he abandoned preaching excuse me abandoned being a plumber for his preaching ministry and Was very popular and pretty soon

He was preaching in fact all over the world and would draw massive massive audiences and he had a an unusual thing

Smith Wigglesworth did he an Unusual ability and an unusual unusual technique so he claimed to have the ability to see demons of sickness that had attached to themselves to Various people so if you were sick if you had epilepsy or if you had cancer if you had arthritis

And all likely that's probably because you've got a demon of cancer or epilepsy or arthritis

I suppose I have the demon of cerebral palsy but anyway He claimed to have the ability to see these demons and of course the only way to dislodge said demon from said afflicted person was to Punch it off.

I kid you not Smith Wigglesworth was known for going up to people sick people and Punching them and kicking them and he said and I quote

I don't hit when asked about this He said I don't hit them. I hit the devil So he got he goes up to people

Punches them kicks them to dislodge the demon from that sick person of course just like we see

The Apostles doing right Jesus and the Apostles they were known for going up and punching and kicking people, right?

Yeah So but that's what Smith Wigglesworth did and interestingly Smith Wigglesworth Being the revered general of God that he was in the charismatic movement or that he is

He was the inspiration for none other than Todd Bentley Todd Bam Bam Bentley who would he was is known for going up to sick people and Kicking them

Punching them and I'm thinking to myself, you know, you know restoration Rick's here my first service

You know God you want me to punch this guy and it just didn't make sense to me and I thought

Lord he's dying You know, he lost over 40 pounds. So anyways, I punched him in that broken sternum and he ended up on the ground

Todd Bentley is someone who claims that God told him to kick an elderly woman in the face

With his biker boot And and I was actually at one of Todd Bentley's meetings

And I saw with my own eyes Todd Bentley go up to a man with stage four colon cancer and kicked him in the gut and the man just crumpled to the ground and I later found out just a few weeks later that got died.

So Todd Bam Bam Bentley, so Todd Bentley got his inspiration from none other than Smith Wigglesworth Smith Wigglesworth apparently would not only punch and kick adults, but He would even throw

Babies or at least one baby against the wall because that baby was sick now watch this again

I do what God tells me to do? Well, what would you do if you're the parents child's dying anyway, right?

He takes the baby two -month -old Throws the baby against the wall

The baby Then the baby's on the floor. He take have you ever seen someone play soccer you have you ever seen them?

Kick a soccer ball He does that with the baby The baby falls

Into the congregation No crying is it dead 100 % healed

Friends that is shocking Did that jar you I sure hope so.

It should have that is shocking and Lest you think that there aren't people in this world dumb enough to believe that The very fact that he put it on his internationally broadcast

Television show is self -evident proof that there are people in this world dumb enough to believe that and not just a few millions untold numbers of millions tens of millions of people in this world are dumb enough to believe that The very fact that it remains on his

YouTube channel to this very day. I just checked it's still up there It's been up there now for four for five years since 2018

It's that's self -evident proof that there are people in this Millions upon millions of people in this world dumb enough to believe that it was aired on TVN and they star and it remains

On his YouTube channel to this very day In addition to the spiritual dangers of the charismatic movement

There are physical dangers to the charismatic movement One of the mantras that you hear in the charismatic movement all the time is this what

God does for one? he'll do for you and So someone is sitting at home and they're watching

Sid Roth TBN Daystar some other network, maybe maybe Clicking through his

YouTube channel They're sitting at home and they see this and they see Sid Roth Reenacting one of these supposed events from one of God's God's generals in the charismatic.

I mean Smith Wigglesworth He is one of the most revered Individuals in the charismatic movement.

They they revere him and people are sitting at home watching this watching it be reenacted by Sid Roth and They think my kid is sick.

My neighbor's kid is sick What God does for one? He'll do for you

Lest you think that I am being hyperbolic lest you think that I am connecting dots that should not be connected

Let me show you let me continue the clip that in fact There's no time between here where the last clip ended

This is where Sid Roth picks up literally the next words out of his mouth right here.

Watch We are so honored we have the great granddaughter of Smith Wigglesworth and she's gonna talk when that same fire that was on Smith Came upon her and she says if you will believe

She wants to release that same fire on you Sid Roth just said in reference to Lil Defend the great -granddaughter of Smith Wigglesworth.

He said and I quote The same fire that was upon Smith came upon her and she says if you will believe

She wants to release that same fire on You so still think

I'm being hyperbolic or connecting dots that really shouldn't be connected his own words

Lil Defend got the same fire the same anointing from her great -grandfather

Smith Wigglesworth and she wants to give You out there in TV land the same anointing that she has so you too

Can throw babies against walls? Their friends there is there is no discernment in the charismatic movement

And again, the very fact that this remains on his YouTube channel to this very day

Is self -evident proof of it. He has no shame not taking no discernment

No, no thought apparently has crossed his mind or any of his staffs mind around him to say, you know

That might be a little too much Maybe we probably shouldn't tell people that they can have the same anointing

That Smith Wigglesworth had to throw babies against walls and to kick them like a soccer ball unbelievable

Unbelievable and I Am a few years ago.

I had some email exchanges with dr Michael Brown and I asked him specifically about this incident the sending the clip and he watched it and I'm gonna share this.

I don't think he would be upset with me sharing it because we recently recorded something for a

G American Gospel TV and I asked him something similar about a different incident this with Kevin's a die

Kevin's a die is one of these guys who shuttles back and forth between heaven and earth with great regularity and He's a regular guest on Sid Roth's program.

Of course, Michael Brown and Sid Roth are good close personal friends But Kevin's a in fact

Michael Brown wrote the foreword to one of Kevin's a dice books But at any rate Kevin's a die claims one of his many claims is that Jesus showed up at the foot of his bed playing a saxophone and I asked

Michael Brown and this is on film. It will air at some point not too long from now Do you believe that?

Do you do you really believe that Jesus showed up at the foot of his bed playing a saxophone and Michael Said well, it seems odd.

It seems bizarre, but you know, I can't definitively say that it didn't I'm paraphrasing of course

But so he couldn't rule it out. He said yeah, it sounds a little odd, but but I can't say that it didn't happen Well, it's similar he had a similar response with with this incident he said

As for the story with the baby, it sounds totally bizarre to me And I don't think it was wise for Sid to share it publicly

Especially with the size of his platform, of course that brings up an immediate question

Well, if this is something that God did that really happened then and this was something this was a move of the

Holy Spirit Why not share it I mean, why would it be unwise to share it if this is something that God did in plain view of everybody watching

Why not? You know what? I mean, let's shout it from the rooftops. Hi far and wide but he continues

If the child was miraculously healed as the story goes and I know one well -known

Christian leader from the last generation Claims to have seen it happen. Then my honest question for you.

Did Satan do it in Jesus name? So kind of similar response with what he had with Kevin Zadai and Jesus showing up at the foot of his bed jamming on the saxophone

Well was the child healed or did this happen y 'all can't say it didn't friends my guess my guess

Did this event happen? Um, I would say probably not I'd say this is probably one of these urban legends a lie that has grown up around Smith Wigglesworth my guess and and to be honest quite honestly, it's not like charismatics or or not known for Embellishment and out -and -out fabrication show me the toes.

That's an upcoming video. Anyway, get ahead of myself They're known for fabricating Events and supposed miracles.

They're known for making this stuff up So his question is did it did it actually happen or would?

Or rather would Satan do this in Jesus would Satan actually heal a child my guess is that this never happened if it did if Smith Wigglesworth actually did take a

Baby two -month -old baby out of his parents arms and threw it against the wall and then kicked it like a soccer ball

You know what happened that baby died That baby died It's just and show me in Scripture show me in Scripture anywhere

Where Jesus or any of the Apostles did anything even remotely like this?

I? Mean where where did they kick somebody? Where where did they punch someone?

Show me where they threw a baby against a wall. It's unbelievable

Absolutely unbelievable But the same anointing that Smith Wigglesworth had
