This is a ministry of striving for eternity. The challenge today is, is there anything that God cannot do?

If so, does that mean that he is not omnipotent? Now, this actually is a logical fallacy, by the way.

Sometimes people will word this as, can God make a rock so heavy he can't lift it?

Well, there are things God cannot do. In Titus 1 .2,

it says that God cannot lie. Therefore, there are things God cannot do.

God cannot do anything that's outside of his nature. God will do everything within his nature, but there's nothing he can do outside his nature, such as sin.

God cannot sin, because sin is a violation of the nature of God.

By the way, when we talk about good versus evil, we understand what good is, because it's defined by the nature of God.

Evil, therefore, is the opposite to that which is the nature of God. So, are there things

God cannot do? Yes, there are things God cannot do. However, does this have anything to do with his attribute of omnipotence, meaning that he is all -powerful?

Well, the answer to that is, no. No, it doesn't. Those are category errors.

The fact that he's omnipotent means that he's all -powerful, but it has nothing to do with the fact that he can't do anything outside of his nature.
