The Need to Practice Evangelism

I know this week we've been dealing with a topic that many like to avoid, and that is the topic of evangelism. But as we kind of wrap this week up, I would like to encourage you, because we've tried to give you some tips on evangelism.

The fact that you can have answers for people, and I don't know is a perfectly good answer. We've tried to let you know that you don't have to worry about your wording. We wanted to encourage you to know that God is sovereign, He's in control.

And the fact that no matter what you say, God can use it. But the thing is, none of this is going to happen if we don't go out and practice. I often say that it is not correct to say that practice makes permanent.

I say practice makes permanent. If you practice incorrectly, you're going to do things incorrectly. So we must practice evangelism and do it correctly if we're ever going to get better. But I can tell you one thing, if you never get out there and practice at all, you're never going to get better, and you're never going to do it.

Go Out and Share the Good News of Jesus Christ

We actually have to get up out of our seats, put feet to our prayers, and not just pray that we'll talk to others about Christ, but actually go out there and share the good news of Jesus Christ. And I would like to encourage you to do that.
