Welcome to Realistic Fishing. Keep it Realistic. This is a video about what can happen when you're not rigged up properly for the fish that bites.
I'm here fishing for smallmouth bass. I've got a pretty heavy line, but I've got a 10 -pound test leader, and, well, you'll see what happens.
Yeah, that fish just came out of the darkness, grabbed my bait, and completely disregarded the fact that there was a line there.
It snapped instantly, and I have no reaction for a while. Eventually, I start laughing, but that was like a 36 -inch pike.
Easy, easy, probably close to 10 pounds, and my line was as if there was no line there.
It just completely disregarded it. I don't know if you saw that, but a large pike just took my bait and snapped me off instantly.
Oh, that was a big pike. That was a big pike.
I hope you saw that, because that was ridiculous. It snapped me off like I was using 2 -pound test.
Anyway, so fishing is not all fun and game. No matter how much you know that losing fish is part of fishing, it hurts every single time.
So this is fishing realistic. Oh, by the way, definitely subscribe to my favorite fishing
YouTube channel, Realistic Fishing on YouTube. Keep it realistic. If there's going to be pike around here,
I'm going to retie, actually. You're watching Realistic Fishing.
