- 00:00
- Hey everyone, this is Pastor Jeff Durbin with End Abortion Now. For the past seven years, many of you all have stood with us, you have served alongside of us, you've given financially to this ministry that is dedicated to ending one of the greatest injustices of our day, and that's the slaughter of our pre -born neighbors.
- 00:18
- God has blessed us in this ministry, and we're a part of this ministry fundamentally because we're
- 00:25
- Christians. The goal of this ministry is to end abortion in Jesus' name as Christians.
- 00:32
- We wanted to have a ministry in the area of abortion that was focused on Christ, focused on the gospel, and focused on telling the truth to our culture.
- 00:42
- We wanted to do this ministry explicitly as Christians, under the banner of the gospel, with local churches, working together across the
- 00:50
- United States of America and around the world. And that's what God has done. God has allowed us to raise up over 900 local churches, equipped and trained absolutely for free, with no cost to them, to go out to their local abortion mills, to preach the gospel, to offer help and hope to mothers and fathers who are going inside.
- 01:10
- And because of that effort, we have saved tens of thousands of lives. You've been a part of that with us.
- 01:17
- If you've prayed for us, if you've given financially over the last seven years, you've been a part of that effort to raise those churches up.
- 01:24
- Babies are being saved every single day across the United States of America because of your work together with us.
- 01:30
- So I want to first say, from my heart, thank you for being a part of this ministry with us.
- 01:35
- We've also, because of your help with us over all of these years, been able to give the message of the gospel on our media platforms globally in conflict with the issue of abortion.
- 01:47
- It's changed hearts. It's changed minds. We have messages on our platforms of mothers who came across our content, who were on their way to the abortion facility to have their abortion, and now their babies are alive today because of that message.
- 02:00
- We've been able to raise up churches, raise up Christians to speak consistently to their neighbors, to their communities, and to their legislatures in this area of abortion because of the content that you've helped us to build.
- 02:12
- So I want to say thank you again for that. And we've been able, through your help together with us, to have bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization go into states across the
- 02:24
- United States of America. Bills in Arizona, in Texas, in South Carolina, in Louisiana, in Pennsylvania, in Colorado, and there's more coming.
- 02:33
- All of this has happened because you've partnered together with us to end this evil and this great injustice that's perpetrated upon our pre -born neighbors.
- 02:42
- And so thank you for being a part of this with us. As many of you know, the numbers are staggering.
- 02:49
- 60 million plus human beings have been killed in our nation since Roe versus Wade.
- 02:55
- 60 million plus and counting. There's more and more all the time. Now we're thankful that we were able to participate in the amicus brief filed by our constitutional attorney
- 03:06
- Bradley Pierce in the Dobbs case, which ultimately overturned Roe versus Wade. We knew that Roe versus Wade needed to go away.
- 03:14
- It was an injustice, an evil court opinion that the states should have actually resisted. However, that Roe decision was actually in the way of us establishing justice in the states.
- 03:25
- And now that Roe is out of the way, we have almost 10 states committed to putting in bills of abolition in our union in the beginning of next legislative session.
- 03:37
- So we have that happening and Roe is out of the way. I want to just speak to this for a moment. Many, many people believe that essentially this fight is really basically over because Roe is out of the way.
- 03:48
- I want to say that the fight has only just begun. Roe's being overturned has not established justice for the pre -born.
- 03:54
- We are not anywhere close to equal protection. We don't have criminalization in the states across the United States of America where true justice is established for our neighbors.
- 04:03
- And so our fight has really just started. We want to ask you to partner with us in 2023. Once again, we have over 900 churches that are already a part of our network.
- 04:13
- We are adding more all the time. We are producing more content that is changing hearts and changing minds and saving lives.
- 04:20
- You can see those stories at endabortionnow .com. And we have 10 states right now that we are working in to put bills of abolition, equal protection and criminalization in, in the first quarter of next legislative session.
- 04:33
- So we need you to partner with us again in 2023. It is going to be our most important year yet.
- 04:39
- So with the 900 churches and with a new website that actually helps you to partner with us in a much more comprehensive way, we have something special for 2023.
- 04:50
- And that is that you can go to our new website, endabortionnow .com, and you can actually click on your state.
- 04:56
- You can see the churches that are involved in your state that are saving lives, the lives that have been saved.
- 05:02
- You're going to be able to hear those stories. And we've made it easy for Christians across the country to fight this battle with us in your particular state.
- 05:11
- You go to endabortionnow .com, you go to where the states are, you click on the state, you'll be able to see the lives that have been saved.
- 05:18
- And you'll be able to also connect directly to the legislators in your state.
- 05:23
- We have everything already prepared for you. It's a pre -filled out form you can send directly to the legislators in your state.
- 05:30
- We also have a petition you could sign in your state to put on the desks of the people who need to see it.
- 05:36
- We've done all the work for you. We've made it simple so that you can partner with us in your state to establish justice.
- 05:43
- All that is coming in 2023. It's our most important year. We need you to stand with us.
- 05:50
- Since we started this work, this has grown in incredible ways. It is truly the grace of God that has brought us to this place.
- 05:57
- And it is through believers just like you that partnered with us from the very beginning that helped us.
- 06:04
- We're not a massive ministry. We're not huge. We don't have the tens of millions of dollars coming in like the pro -life organizations.
- 06:11
- We are a local church that is equipping and training other local churches to save lives and that is going to legislators across the country and saying we demand justice immediately and abortion now.
- 06:23
- And we've only been able to do this because believers just like you have put your hands in my hands and partnered with me in this ministry with our team to make this happen.
- 06:32
- You've done this with us. So all of the tens of thousands of babies that are alive today are alive because of God's people sacrificing, praying, partnering with us.
- 06:41
- All of the bills that are going in next year to establish justice are happening because believers just like you join together with us financially.
- 06:50
- We need your help. We try as a ministry to stay lean and mean and we try as a ministry to make sure that we're as effective as we can possibly be with the truth and with very little budget that we need.
- 07:04
- And so this year we need a little over a million dollars for the budget for 2023. I'll give you an example.
- 07:11
- In one state last year, Louisiana, that bill itself that was unprecedented and it did a lot of damage.
- 07:17
- That bill was tens of thousands of dollars to put into place and to work. And so God blessed it, but we need your partnership as we do this fight.
- 07:27
- So will you partner with me in 2023? Help us as a ministry, as a church, as Christians to end this injustice in Jesus name.
- 07:36
- We're doing this as Christians. We're doing this because the gospel, we're doing this because we're called to love our neighbors and to lay our lives down for them.
- 07:43
- And we're doing this fundamentally so that we don't have to do it anymore. We don't want to see this regulated.
- 07:49
- We're not starting a business. For us, this isn't an industry. We're a church. We're trying to speak the gospel in this area to overcome it with the light of the gospel.
- 07:58
- And we're trying to wash our hands of it and then walk away from it once justice is established. Will you help us do that?
- 08:04
- Will you join us in 2023 with a donation? Give towards this work. Help us to raise up more churches.
- 08:10
- Help us to save more lives, many more lives, and help us to establish justice at the state level.
- 08:17
- Partner with us in 2023. I want to thank you for all you ever have done, and I want to thank you for what you give in 2023.
- 08:24
- Endabortionnow .com is where you go. Check this site out. You can give there and please participate in all the new features we have there so you can help us and all the states that we're working in to end abortion now.
- 08:46
- Hello. My name is Tim and I am the web manager here at End Abortion Now. I have the absolute joy and pleasure to present to you the new and updated endabortionnow .com.
- 08:59
- I want to show you just a glimpse into what our donors accomplished this last year by showing you some new tools that will impact the way we politically fight to end abortion around the
- 09:11
- United States. At the beginning of 2023, End Abortion Now will be going to be filing 10 state bills of equal protection.
- 09:21
- We will be going to Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, South Dakota, and finally
- 09:30
- Arkansas. That may sound great and all, but why does it really matter?
- 09:37
- Sometimes when we talk about politics, we can really lose sight of what we're actually doing here in trying to end abortion.
- 09:45
- We are saving lives. Let me show you why these new tools will impact the way we approach the mission of ending abortion.
- 09:53
- Let's go to the new interactive map. Now let's go to the state of Georgia since we will be submitting a bill of equal protection there next year.
- 10:04
- Scroll down, and there you'll see 114 babies murdered through abortion every single day.
- 10:15
- 114. That means by the end of watching this video, one baby will have died.
- 10:23
- By the time we get to the state of Georgia next year, 10 ,260 babies will have been murdered.
- 10:30
- If you're like me, you want to do something about this, but know nothing about politics.
- 10:36
- This is why we've made it easy through this new tool on endabortionnow .com.
- 10:43
- If you continue to follow me on Georgia's state page, you will see two primary calls to action that you can take.
- 10:50
- Number one, sign the petition. When we submit the bills of equal protection in Georgia and all the other states next year, we want to present a stack of names to the representatives there for political leverage.
- 11:06
- How? Tell them if they do not support the bill, they will have thousands of their voters voting them out.
- 11:15
- It's easy to do. Just go to your state, click on sign the petition.
- 11:20
- It takes no time, no commitment. The second thing we've created is the state page.
- 11:27
- Among state -specific data, you will see a contact your representative button. When you see us in your state next year, and when you get an email from us telling you to contact your representatives, you want to click this button.
- 11:40
- You will see the list of every pro -life politician in your state. You will then systematically email and call each of them.
- 11:49
- Clicking on their names, clicking their email address, copying and pasting the message.
- 11:56
- Then, you can grab your phone and call them. Use the on -screen script to help assist you in that phone call.
- 12:05
- This is what it takes to save the lives of children, like little Dakota. You can read about her on the home page.
- 12:11
- This is what it takes to save the lives of precious babies like Savaria, Keyshawn, Kingston, Navy, Rosie, River, all the babies on our testimony page.
- 12:21
- These new tools equip us to finally see an end to abortion in these states.
- 12:28
- Using these tools is a means of protecting and giving life to thousands of little children this year, and thousands more to come.
- 12:35
- If you haven't already, please consider helping us end abortion in these states this year.
- 12:41
- The cost is great if we continue to do nothing. It's the price of tens of thousands of babies.
- 12:49
- But the cost to you right now might be your financial support and handful of phone calls.
- 12:57
- It's worth it. Please join us this year. If you feel led to give, please do so.
- 13:04
- Click on the link somewhere in this video or go visit the new site EndAbortionNow .com.
- 13:10
- As you can see, our donors change lives. God bless you all, and I look forward to see what
- 13:17
- God will do with your support in the following years. You know, when we first started our ministry to bring the gospel to the abortion mills, we saw the need, we knew what scripture said about it, to rescue those who were being led to death.
- 13:39
- And so we thought, well, obviously, this is something the Christian church should do. That's where the Christian church belongs.
- 13:45
- We want to bring the gospel there, tell the truth, especially there, if anywhere.
- 13:51
- So we started building everything up to get out to the abortion mill and to bring a team, to bring the gospel.
- 13:58
- We wanted to make sure we had, you know, people on standby even to adopt children. And we just wanted to save lives and see people come to Christ.
- 14:07
- I mean, I can remember putting up the camera and, you know, live streaming us at the abortion mill so we can show believers that, look, we're saving children's lives.
- 14:15
- We're seeing saves, we're seeing turnaways, we're having gospel conversations. We turned a live stream on and it would, the comment section was just filled with people who were professing believers, not unbelievers, but professing believers who were saying things like that's not how you reach those women.
- 14:33
- This isn't the right way to do it. This seems very abrasive. This seems mean -spirited because we were saying, please don't murder your children.
- 14:42
- When we initially started doing that, it was the beginning of this whole ministry. And so we had fruit, we had, you know, babies' lives being saved and us doing baby showers for mothers who turned away from the clinic.
- 14:54
- We didn't have a lot of experience with, well, how do you deal with Christians who are telling you don't go out into the public square with the truth?
- 15:02
- Don't tell a mother who was minutes away from murdering her child, please don't murder your child.
- 15:07
- The only way these women are going to come to Christ is if we give them the gospel. The only way that babies are going to be saved is if the church is there, you know, standing up for these children.
- 15:17
- And the only way we can actually minister to these women in the long run is if we show up. And so we were surprised.
- 15:23
- We were surprised. What ended up happening was so many babies started being saved from this ministry that we stopped responding to people who were in the comments saying, this is wrong, you shouldn't do it.
- 15:40
- We just started sharing pictures of the babies that had been saved. So somebody would make, you know, a nasty comment.
- 15:46
- We would just share a picture of Olivia, Grace, and Cara. Or we'd share a picture of Carmelo.
- 15:54
- And that would tend to silence them. I don't think it's wrong to say, you know, all right,
- 16:00
- I'm willing to be open to correction. If there's a better way to do this at the abortion mill to bring the gospel and save lives,
- 16:06
- I'm all ears. How many babies have you saved? How many women have you seen turn to Christ through your methodology?
- 16:14
- And the answer was crickets. We have trained up and raised about 900 local churches, mostly across the
- 16:23
- U .S., but also around the world in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland. We've been to Scotland.
- 16:29
- It's happening in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, I mean, really all over. Churches are getting free training and free resources from us to just go out and bring the gospel into this particular area.
- 16:42
- The Bible actually gives us a view into what the Spirit of God was doing within His people, in the public square, with the gospel message.
- 16:54
- We get a picture of the methodology that actually God used to change the world.
- 17:01
- End Abortion Now is a ministry of Apologia Church. It's a local church's ministry to bring the truth of the gospel into conflict with abortion in the public square in every area.
- 17:13
- And so we knew we needed to bring the church to the abortion mill. We needed to bring the gospel there.
- 17:18
- We needed to save lives. We needed to raise churches up. And we needed to teach and speak into the culture through all the media platforms we have to tell them the truth about this issue of abortion and to bring the truth into conflict with error and with darkness in this area.
- 17:34
- And we needed also to bring the truth to legislators who are responsible before God to establish justice and to preserve these lives.
- 17:43
- And it is a very important area for the church to be involved in because the pro -life establishment, the pro -life industry, has sort of been in charge of fighting this battle since the beginning of Roe vs.
- 17:57
- Wade. And the pro -life establishment is explicit. They express it themselves that they are not approaching this as Christians explicitly.
- 18:07
- The head of National Right to Life has said that explicitly, that their organization tries to approach this from a neutral perspective, not as Christians, not with the gospel, not with the call to repentance.
- 18:19
- If the problem of abortion is sin, if it's in fact evil, then the only solution is
- 18:24
- God's word, God's truth, and the gospel itself. People aren't going to come to life apart from the words of life.
- 18:30
- And so the pro -life establishment has fought with compromise, they've fought with neutrality, and the result has been over 62 million dead babies.
- 18:41
- The result has been, in states across the union, bills of partiality, unequal weights and measures.
- 18:48
- I mean, the pro -life establishment actually promoting and advocating for and accepting bills that say you can kill these humans, but not these humans, things that God hates.
- 19:01
- He says unequal weights and measures are an abomination to Him. We've been able to get bills of equal protection, equal protection from conception, all human life begins at conception, it's in the very image of God, and all human life deserves equal protection.
- 19:16
- We've been able to get those kinds of bills into legislatures across the country, from Oklahoma, to Arizona, to Texas, to South Carolina, to Philadelphia, to Ohio, to Louisiana.
- 19:27
- The problem has been that the pro -life establishment has been the major force fighting against these bills.
- 19:34
- We've been getting bills into legislatures, and they've been able to stop them from even getting hearings.
- 19:40
- We haven't been able to get them past the hearing stage until Louisiana.
- 19:47
- What happened in Louisiana was unprecedented. It was historic. In Louisiana, we were able to get a bill into not only the hearing, but also onto the floor.
- 19:58
- When it went to the hearing stage, it absolutely sailed through the hearing stage with a vote of seven to two.
- 20:06
- Since Roe versus Wade, getting bills of equal protection and abolition hasn't really been a thing until very recently.
- 20:13
- And then we weren't able to get them past the hearing stage, and now we got a bill of equal protection that calls what's in the womb the image of God.
- 20:24
- It's a mustard seed that's starting to bloom into a very big tree, and it's happening across the country.
- 20:30
- We have more states coming very soon. We were even able to argue in the case that ultimately overturned
- 20:38
- Roe versus Wade. We were able to argue with an amicus brief in that case, and in our amicus brief, we argued that the court must yield to the authority of Jesus Christ, not just the
- 20:50
- Constitution, but that the authority of God's Word and Jesus Christ is ultimate. It's above the court.
- 20:57
- It's above the very Constitution itself. It's a transcendent law. It's an authority above all, and we argued that in the case that ultimately overturned
- 21:06
- Roe versus Wade. Do you see what happens? Do you see what happens when the church of Jesus Christ brings
- 21:15
- His Word to the world? Light in darkness.
- 21:22
- And we have that message of life. We have to speak it. I hope you join us in bringing that to the world.
- 21:40
- That day we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection, and we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill.
- 21:51
- Of course, the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up. I think Roe versus Wade is one of the worst decisions that's ever come out of the
- 21:58
- U .S. Supreme Court. But it's the law. Like it or not, it is the law. It's been the law for almost 50 years. We can't defy the federal courts.
- 22:05
- We don't care how much they're defying the Constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 22:10
- We're outside the Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe versus Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 22:20
- We're going to win. We've raised up churches in Canada, the
- 22:27
- United States of America, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Northern Ireland, in the Republic of Ireland, in Scotland, all over the world who are preaching the gospel in this area and demanding equal protection for all humans from conception.
- 22:42
- And we've been able to get bills in through the work of the church, through End Abortion Now, in states across the country,
- 22:48
- Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Colorado. I mean, it's something that's happened across the country.
- 22:56
- And ultimately, the huge moment was Louisiana.
- 23:11
- Yeah, so in Louisiana, House Bill 813, carried by Representative Danny McCormick, it was a bill that provided equal protection.
- 23:18
- And what that means is that all the bill did, it actually didn't really create a new law.
- 23:24
- You know, states already have laws that prohibit homicide, right? Murder is already illegal in every single state.
- 23:30
- What House Bill 813 did was it took away the abortion exception to that. So that way, homicide that already protects the lives of born people would now protect the lives of pre -born people, people before they're born.
- 23:43
- That's what the U .S. Constitution says, no state shall deny equal protection. So that's what the bill did. It provided equal protection.
- 23:49
- And that's not just in the U .S. Constitution, that's in the Louisiana Constitution, too. It was a very favorable situation that really is unprecedented in terms of the progress of this kind of work that we're trying to put in place to actually protect life at this stage and make abortion illegal.
- 24:19
- I'm Guto. Yes, Representative LaFleur. No, Representative Marcell. Representative McCormick.
- 24:26
- Yes. Yes, Representative Hodges. Representative Muscarello. Yes. Representative Nelson.
- 24:33
- Representative Sebaugh. Absolutely. Yes, Representative Viglio. Representative Marino.
- 24:39
- No. No. Seven yays, two nays. Thank you. Thank you. House Bill 813 will be reported favorably.
- 24:48
- They approved the bill. They were like, this is common sense. If a fetus is a person, so let's treat them like a person.
- 24:55
- How do we treat other people? Let's treat the fetus the same way. If we truly believe that they're a person, like we've said in the pro -life movement, for 49 years, let's treat them like that.
- 25:04
- The committee said, thumbs up. The bill in Louisiana was historic because the bill made it not only to hearing but past the hearing and onto the floor.
- 25:15
- This bill was talked about across the country, MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times. Everybody knew about this bill, and this bill was a big moment because in all the years of Roe v.
- 25:26
- Wade, the pro -life establishment hasn't been working to criminalize and abolish abortion. This was a bill of equal protection, a bill that's consistent with what they say they believe, a bill that says that what's in the womb is in the image of God.
- 25:39
- It's human from conception. All humans deserve to be equally protected under the law. They have not fought that way, and so this was historic in that sense, but it was also historic because it made it to the floor in Louisiana, and it was a huge moment in Louisiana because as soon as it passed through the hearing stage and it went to the floor, the pro -life establishment was freaking out.
- 26:04
- Over the course of the next week, before it got to the floor of the House, there had been lots of lobbying by pro -life organizations, pro -life politicians, pro -life establishment, pro -life lobby, the pro -life industry, that they'd been lobbying, saying you've got to kill this bill.
- 26:23
- And as we moved closer and closer to the day of the actual vote, the establishment came in undercover, and they started talking to our legislators, telling them don't pass that bill, don't pass a bill like that, no bill that would actually criminalize abortion and actually provide equal protection.
- 26:38
- So the day of the vote itself, over 70 pro -life organizations joined together to put a letter out to legislators across the
- 26:46
- United States of America that said that they did not want legislatures to put any bills of equal protection in that would actually call it a crime for everybody involved in killing the child.
- 26:57
- They said we're against criminalizing the mother, which the bill doesn't criminalize the mother.
- 27:03
- The bill criminalizes conduct, criminalizes murder, doesn't criminalize the mother, doesn't even really talk about the mother.
- 27:09
- The law applies equally to everybody, just like the laws that protect the lives of born people.
- 27:15
- It doesn't single out one particular sex. That day we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection, and we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill.
- 27:28
- Of course the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up. There was maybe two or three pro -choicers at the Capitol that day.
- 27:34
- That's how much they knew they didn't have to lift a finger, because it was the establishment, the pro -life establishment that came in and tried to convince all of our legislators to not pass the bill, because fundamentally they have a worldview that is not a
- 27:47
- Christian worldview. They believe that they can acquit the guilty. There are people who murder their children who should not be seen as guilty of the crime of abortion.
- 27:58
- Of course, again, this goes against the biblical worldview. It goes against Christian history and Christian tradition.
- 28:05
- Christian church has always seen everybody involved in killing a child in the womb as guilty, and they need the gospel.
- 28:12
- We had our work cut out for us, but it was a big moment. Louisiana was huge because it showed the establishment that this small group of Christians with nowhere near the funds and budget they have can deliver a bigger punch and punch a bigger hole than they ever have in 50 years of Roe versus Wade.
- 28:35
- My name is Zach Lautenschlager. I've worked in professional politics for the last 24 years, focused my career on no -compromise political fights, defending the right to keep and bear arms, and working to return to the right to life.
- 28:51
- I've worked with End Abortion now for the last three years. Our forefathers sacrificed to that level so that we can stand and fight for the rights to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, using political means.
- 29:12
- Louisiana last year, well, earlier this year is certainly, in the last cycle, is certainly another major milestone as legislation moves from a committee to a vote on the floor of one chamber.
- 29:30
- As far as we know, that's one of the first where we won a committee vote and it moved to the floor.
- 29:36
- And this is the way you measure yardage. You measure progress in politics. Every bill is going to have to go through multiple votes, and if you can start moving through winning some of those, you're definitely making progress.
- 29:49
- It's really interesting when you talk about, like, how do you put one of these bills in? The truth is, it's so grassroots and so simple that some of it is, honestly, in terms of like political acumen or political power and prowess, it's kind of embarrassing.
- 30:10
- It's literally Christians calling up legislators and saying, do you believe it's human from conception?
- 30:16
- Yes, I need to talk to you. I'm going to pick up the phone and use the publicly available roster of the
- 30:25
- House and Senate in my particular state, and I'm going to call their office and I'm going to ask them, would you consider actually ending abortion?
- 30:33
- Would you sponsor legislation to end abortion? That's the basic level. It's that kind of grassroots, mustard seed kind of moves in states that has brought all these about.
- 30:44
- It's just been a move of the church, going to legislators and saying, you said you believe this. Are you a believer?
- 30:50
- Yes. Do you want to protect these children? Yes. This is a bill that's consistent. There's not much to it. For human from conception, all humans deserve equal protection.
- 30:59
- Very simple. So we've been able to work with churches and ourselves talking directly to legislators to find the legislators who want to be brave, find the legislators who are not going to compromise, find the legislators who are going to be consistent and put the bills in those states.
- 31:14
- And so, of course, when we get the bill into the state, we gather the churches in that state to rally and also to talk to their legislators to co -sponsor the bill and to pass these bills.
- 31:25
- And we're in a new place now because now we're moving into other states in 2023.
- 31:31
- And one of the states that we have is Georgia. So it was exhausting. We were all super tired, but it went really well.
- 31:39
- Good stuff. The representative we talked to is just a solid believer, loves the
- 31:44
- Lord, loves God's law. Didn't even have to teach him Lex Rex. He already believed it and said it himself,
- 31:51
- God's law is above man's law and the Constitution. So that was good. He's a good dude.
- 31:57
- We got his commitment. He wants to do it. He wants to work with us on what it's going to look like in terms of when he has the debates.
- 32:05
- He wants us on his side, Bradley and me, to answer questions as experts.
- 32:11
- He wants to be trained. He wants us to do the groundwork to get the public involved.
- 32:17
- So he knows what he's doing. Solid dude. We are leaving the hotel right now to go to the Capitol to film the spots that we're going to be releasing when this stuff goes through.
- 32:28
- Just short spots. And then we return home tonight. We landed like 7 .45
- 32:35
- on time. Georgia is another state similar to Louisiana in terms of its prospects.
- 32:43
- There are quite a few groups on the ground in Georgia right now that are on the exact same page as we are.
- 32:52
- We've met with them. We've talked with them. We're equipping them. They're ready to go.
- 32:58
- They're on the gospel message. They're consistent. They're not compromised. And they're ready to raise up other churches across the state of Georgia and to make sure that everyone knows this is going on so that our legislators can get the support that they need and that the
- 33:11
- Church of Christ knows about this bill and what's going on.
- 33:16
- So we were able even to go to Georgia and meet with all of our organizations that are out there, some of them. To meet with them.
- 33:22
- They're all preparing right now for this move as Christians to establish justice for the pre -born in the state of Georgia.
- 33:29
- Will it be as impactful as Louisiana and everything that happened there?
- 33:35
- I think it has the potential to be just as impactful, if not more. Based on the climate right now, of course, this is the first legislation at this scale that we're going to be able to shine light on since the overturning of Roe v.
- 33:50
- Wade, which is a big, big deal because legislators, politicians no longer have the excuse of waiting on the
- 33:59
- Supreme Court to overturn Roe. That's already done and gone and over with.
- 34:05
- If anybody has told you that passage of 813 will prevent a single abortion, they misled you or they don't know how the law works.
- 34:12
- Because the fact of the matter is, if we pass this bill and the Senate passes this bill and the governor signs this bill, it will be enjoined the next day because Roe v.
- 34:21
- Wade is still the law of the land. The U .S. Supreme Court said you can't do this.
- 34:26
- Thank you for joining us on this Friday night on A Day That Changed America. We're outside the
- 34:32
- Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 34:40
- That excuse is gone. You know, a lot of politicians use that, well, we can't defy the federal courts.
- 34:45
- We don't care how much they're defying the Constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 34:51
- You can't use that one anymore. Roe is gone. Planned Parenthood v. Casey is gone. And a lot of them have said, well, we would do what you're saying.
- 35:00
- We would abolish abortion if it weren't for the court. Well, now the court's like, all right, here you go.
- 35:06
- And that's what we're saying, too. Here you go, then. Here's your opportunity. Put your money where your mouth is.
- 35:13
- Do it. Abolish abortion. We're up against a pro -life industry that even with Roe v.
- 35:20
- Wade out of the way, they're still fighting their fight the same way. Fifteen week bans, total partiality.
- 35:26
- You can kill this child, but not this child. Heartbeat bills. Roe v. Wade was never the issue.
- 35:32
- They're a business. They're an industry. They're staying alive through regulation.
- 35:38
- We want this to be over and to wash our hands of it and to walk away. I don't want to do this ministry anymore.
- 35:46
- I want justice established, and I want this done. So the bill in Georgia, it does what the
- 35:53
- Constitution requires. It provides equal protection. It does what the Georgia Constitution requires, and it provides equal protection, and equal protection just means one of the laws to protect born people, you protect the pre -born equally.
- 36:12
- I'm looking forward to the battle that's going to happen. There's going to be the abolitionists on one side.
- 36:18
- There's going to be the people who believe consistently that a fetus is a person. They're made in the image of God.
- 36:24
- They should be protected from conception until natural death. That's where we should be protecting them, and a lot of people have said that they believe that, but now they're going to have an opportunity in Georgia to prove it.
- 36:37
- Prove it. You say you want to abolish abortion, prove it. Do it. Here's the bill.
- 36:42
- We're going to win. We're going to win. Period. Jesus is, according to scripture, putting all of his enemies under his feet, so we're going to win.
- 36:51
- This is ending someday. We're prayerful that Georgia, of course, establishes justice, but this is going under the feet of Jesus.
- 37:00
- The church is going to have victory over this. It is an absolute guarantee. This is why abortion is still legal.
- 37:12
- Failure to provide equal protection of the laws. With Roe v. Wade now overturned, many are hailing this praiseworthy moment as a victory, and rightfully so.
- 37:23
- The Supreme Court had a duty to do before God and correct the wrong of a past atrocity.
- 37:29
- They acknowledge this illegitimacy of Roe and that decision. For this, we should give
- 37:35
- God all the glory and praise. However, the federal government also had a duty to ensure that the states provided all of its citizens with equal protection of the laws, in accordance with the 14th
- 37:48
- Amendment of the Constitution. Babies in the womb are persons, after all. Instead, the
- 37:54
- Supreme Court washed its hands of the responsibility to do what justice fully required of them by saying to the states, you decide.
- 38:04
- Therefore, while we celebrate the end of Roe, it is inaccurate to say that abortion is now illegal in our land.
- 38:12
- Abortion is not illegal anywhere. How can that be, you may ask? Aren't abortion providers closing up shop?
- 38:20
- What about trigger bills? Aren't states passing bans of various kinds on when and how abortions can take place?
- 38:28
- Well, yes, but this in no way means that abortion is actually illegal. If abortion was illegal, then all abortions would be illegal.
- 38:38
- But the fact remains that in all 50 states, mothers are still allowed to kill their preborn children.
- 38:45
- The reason? No state has affirmed the equal value of babies in the womb by protecting their lives with the same laws that protect our lives.
- 38:56
- Mothers can still have DIY abortions, whether by pills or potions, anywhere, even up to the moment of birth in some states.
- 39:06
- In what other situation of homicide is any party involved with the taking of a life exempt from being subject to the justice system?
- 39:15
- Abortion is the only case of homicide in which the perpetrator of a crime is automatically ruled out from any legal recourse.
- 39:25
- This is vitally important to understand, because often a false dichotomy is set up between abolitionists and those in the mainstream pro -life movement.
- 39:35
- Pro -life leaders will say that they believe the abortionist should be pursued legally, unlike abolitionists over here who say that the mother should be pursued legally.
- 39:45
- But this is a false choice. The reality is that abolitionists are for prosecuting abortionists, but we are also for allowing the mother to be prosecuted as well.
- 39:58
- And it is up to the justice system to decide each case of homicide by the formal rule of law on the basis of its own merits, just like in any other case of homicide.
- 40:10
- That is what is meant by equal protection of the laws. The baby in the womb must have the same standards of justice to protect them as everyone else.
- 40:21
- Because God's word commands us not to have unequal weights and measures in the consideration of legal matters, justice must be applied equally, which can only be done if all responsible parties are answerable, whether they be perpetrators, accomplices, or co -conspirators to the act itself.
- 40:44
- Consider for a moment how unacceptable it would be in the case of a mother that killed her born child to disqualify her from the legal process altogether based on arbitrary factors like her emotional state or her circumstances, the way so many do when it comes to the mom that kills her own pre -born child.
- 41:06
- None of these things have any bearing on the necessity for justice to be done. Opponents of equal protection advance several caricatures against it.
- 41:15
- But in standing against it, one of two things become clear. Number one, they either don't believe that a fetus is actually a person, or therefore violating the constitution and the law of God itself.
- 41:31
- As Christians concerned with justice for the pre -born, we need to get this right so that we are not guilty of the kind of prejudicial bigotry that many pro -life leaders engage in when they reject due process for the baby in the womb.
- 41:47
- We must do as James says, and fulfill the royal law of scripture by loving our neighbor as we love ourselves, so that we do not show partiality and convict ourselves under the law.
- 42:00
- Equal protection is the way we end abortion in our nation. As long as we fail to meet the demands of justice, children will continue to be murdered.
- 42:11
- It's time to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to actually apply the commandment of Christ in the legal realm as it relates to pre -born children.
- 42:24
- Listen, listen, listen, because every second counts. Listen, because every second counts.
- 42:36
- Why do we do bills of equal protection? We do bills of equal protection as Christians because we want to be consistent.
- 42:44
- Consistent with God's word, consistent with human reason and logic.
- 42:49
- Equal protection means that all human beings from the moment of conception, from the moment of conception are protected and given the same standards of justice.
- 42:58
- Equal protection matters to God. In Proverbs 20, 23, God says that unequal weights and measures are an abomination in his sight.
- 43:06
- Did you hear that? Unequal weights and measures are an abomination to God. God tells us throughout his word that he expects us to establish justice, to protect the fatherless, to make sure that all image bearers of God are protected and given justice.
- 43:22
- That really is the duty of the Christian church, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, to treat everybody the same.
- 43:29
- This is seen in history always when we think about the issue of slavery. Why was the
- 43:35
- Jim Crow era and the issue of slavery such an abomination? It's an abomination because we had image bearers of God, human beings who were treated with such depravity, with such evil, with such injustice.
- 43:47
- We recognize the evil of saying, yeah, I know he looks like a person, but it's not a person, it's a black man.
- 43:53
- We all see the evil in that. Equal justice matters to God. We can't say, yeah, you can kill these humans, but not these humans.
- 44:02
- As Christians, God commands us to hate unequal weights and measures, and that is why we must have equal protection for all humans from conception.
- 44:17
- I heard the explosion on a ramp to see if it could help people. The devastation is unbelievable.
- 44:24
- Anybody that can think they can just... All right, so we're here in, what's the name of the town?
- 44:36
- This is Ulma in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. We're here, there's a gay pride festival.
- 44:41
- You sort of have two cultures colliding against each other right now. Sort of the old Irish Christendom still here preaching a message that contradicts their whole culture, their lifestyle, and the culture of death.
- 44:58
- So you have the gay pride, you have drag queens, and right across the street, you guys are set up with pictures of murdered children, and you're giving them literature, talking to them about the gospel, talking to them about the word of God, trying to reason with them and show them the inconsistencies of their position.
- 45:16
- There's a big vocalization, large vocalization of equal rights, equal rights.
- 45:22
- I mean, you even have things like the Equal Rights Campaign, and that's a main part of what they say as foundationals.
- 45:28
- They believe that all humans deserve equal rights, and here you are at the festival talking to them about human rights, equal rights.
- 45:35
- Yeah, and essentially it comes down to, you know, we are bringing the gospel into conflict with what is essentially a religion today.
- 45:45
- They're meeting with their symbols, with their flags, with their groupings, and essentially it is a religious ceremony, and we are trying to be like the early
- 45:55
- Christians in the book of Acts who are going out to where the idols are, and they'll say, we see that you are religious people, but let us tell you about the true
- 46:04
- God and point them in the direction of the true God. And as you said, you know, one of the ways that we kind of draw the contradiction is that we bring in this idea of rights and how hypocritical it is to talk about rights for LGBT community while at the same time either turning a completely blind eye or at times participating in the stripping of rights from pre -born human beings, and ultimately that comes because the idea of human rights doesn't have a standard.
- 46:37
- It's not based on a set standard that you can talk about, and rights are given and stripped away from people all the time just based on the whim of society at that time, whereas we're saying that God loves justice.
- 46:56
- The Bible tells us that God demands justice, and it's His word and His law that should be the foundation for all rights, and central to those rights is the demand that thou shall not murder.
- 47:11
- Right. And so one of the things that's unique about you, about the churches that you're working with, that you're laboring together, is that you are confronting the issue that has been thrust upon you in Northern Ireland and in the
- 47:23
- Republic with the gospel. No compromise. The word of God is the authority, and it's really a gospel -centered issue for you, which is very different than what we've seen in the
- 47:34
- West over the last 50 years, say, since Roe v. Wade. The approach is gospel -centered with Christ as the focus, with the call to repentance and faith, and so praise
- 47:44
- God for that. That's where the gospel's the power of God for salvation, so that's where transformation is going to take place, and it's going to take place when the church does what you're saying and brings the gospel into the public square.
- 47:53
- And so you're here, but there's something unique about this particular public square that makes this whole issue very, very interesting, because you have, again, the
- 48:01
- Gay Pride Festival going on now, you have you guys across the street preaching Christ, pointing to these children who have been sacrificed, and you have two cultures in collision, and one culture is saying, no, you should be able to murder your child in the womb if you please, at will, and you know, it's not really a child in the womb.
- 48:22
- And so you're allowed to dispose of it as you please, but this is a unique center to have that conversation.
- 48:27
- Why is that? So, yeah, there are even those we meet who will say, yeah,
- 48:33
- I absolutely accept that this is a human being, but they're not a person, so they don't have rights, and therefore, it doesn't matter if we kill them or not.
- 48:42
- And here in Oma, Oma saw one of the absolute darkest days of our history, our recent history, when a bomb exploded in this street back in 1998, and the target for the bomb was the courthouse up at the top of the street here that we can see, but the bombers were unable to get the bomb the whole way to the courthouse, so they parked it just down the road.
- 49:06
- Just right up here. Yeah, just right up here, and the police started to push everybody from the courthouse down towards the bottom of the street, which was supposed to be safe, but they pushed them right into the mouth of the bomb, and the bomb exploded, and it killed 31 people that day.
- 49:22
- 31? 31 people that day, including two pre -born twins in their mother's womb were among the victims, and when you look through the list of victims, they were people ranging throughout all ages, both males, females, people from Spain, from other countries, from the very, very young, right the way through to the oldest, and the fact is that either the killing of every single one of them was wrong, or the killing of 29 of them was wrong, but two, it's inconsequential, and nobody in their right mind would say that the murder of those two little boys in the womb that day when the bomb exploded on this street was inconsequential, it was nothing, it doesn't matter because they're not people, because in that scenario, it's impossible to not recognise the worth of those two boys, so to then turn around and say, well, children in the womb aren't people, so we can do whatever we want to them, it's just an absolute fallacy, and it's a complete contradiction of the two, and when we come here to Yoma, it's one of the things that we bring up with people, and it's one of the things that causes huge amounts of dissonance with those that we meet on the streets of Yoma, because they completely oppose, they abhor what happened here, but they turn a blind eye to what's happening in clinics and hospitals round the corner, so it's good to be able to bring that piece of history into conflict with this issue as well, because in Northern Ireland, we have seen horrific acts carried out, we had a
- 51:09
- Saturday afternoon where blood flowed on this street, young and old, rich and poor, man and woman, and once again in Northern Ireland, our sewers are filled with the blood of children murdered in their homes and flushed down the toilet, and it's no different than what we had in 40 years of conflict here, in fact, it's much worse, you know, we recently...
- 51:37
- Because it's their own family doing it. It's their own family doing it, and it's on a scale that we have never seen before, you know, we had three and a half thousand people killed here, during the
- 51:47
- Troubles, we had three and a half thousand people killed in the Troubles, and since 2020, we've had three and a half thousand children killed, you know, so this is...
- 51:57
- So the point is this, the people in Oma and the people here instinctively understand, based upon their own history, why this is immoral and it can't be tolerated, but because of a complete idolatrous cultural transformation, they can't live consistently with that, so they can call a car bombing that kills two boys in the womb an atrocity and horrible, they can say, they can even say the word horrible, though if you're an atheist, you can't justify that, but they'll say it's horrible, so they understand instinctively that's horrible, but now they're accepting what's been thrust upon Northern Ireland.
- 52:33
- And not even just accepting it, some of them celebrating it. For sure. And calling it a right and, you know, celebrating the fact that they can do what the bombers did here on that day in 1998, you know, and it comes from that worldview that has no foundation, you know, they have a worldview that has no foundation, and that is why it is so important, so important to us that we bring the gospel into conflict with it, because as you said the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, it is the only way to make sense of this earth, of ourselves, of each other, and as we talked about rights, the idea of rights in our society has no foundation, and what we can do is we can point to God's word as the ultimate foundation for rights and say, well, we're consistent because we can say that the murder of those two twins is wrong, as is the murder of every other child in the womb, and they can't.
- 53:33
- So the secularists, the humanists, the atheists, the agnostic, they don't have a basis, a philosophical or moral basis to complain about anything, and yet because they're in the image of God, they do complain, they do crowd against injustice, and they don't have any transcendent law to point to past their own selves, their feelings, their emotions, but it's the
- 53:55
- Christian worldview, the word of God that provides that objective basis and that transcendent law, that eternal, that represents the eternal character of God, they can point to that, we can point to that, but when, well let's just say it, when the
- 54:11
- West throws off their Christian commitments and foundations, when you dismiss the word of God and the gospel, well now you've thrown off transcendent law, and so now you're dealing with a big transformation that's happening in the
- 54:25
- West now, in Northern Ireland, in the Republic, in England, in America, you're seeing now this darkness and this dark culture creeping in because people are throwing off the gospel, throwing off the
- 54:36
- Christian foundations, and so something, I was talking to you about this last night, something that's unique that I'm so grateful to God for,
- 54:44
- I'm so terribly grateful to God for, is that on the issue of abortion that we're dealing with now in Northern Ireland, it's very recent,
- 54:54
- Northern Ireland, the Republic, very recent, that now it's allowed, that it's promoted, that it's celebrated, that it's honored in places, so this is new for you, that it's now been thrust upon you like this.
- 55:08
- We've had it for a long time in my country, but I was saying to you, the church really began to rise up with a consistent message against the issue of abortion, bringing the gospel into conflict with abortion, and say the last 10 -15 years, you start to see a remarkable transformation and moves with the gospel in this issue.
- 55:28
- Praise God, you are now at the beginning of this slaughter for your nation, but you are with churches and believers and pastors who are fighting from the beginning of this holocaust with the gospel.
- 55:41
- Can you talk about that for a minute? I personally can't see how you can argue against abortion without the gospel, because ultimately it comes down to your opinion against my opinion, and as human beings, we have different opinions, and we haven't got that ultimate standard, and we found that out very early in our ministry, we went out with our images, we talked about human development, we talked about the science behind it, we talked about rights, and ultimately people turned around and said,
- 56:12
- I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. It's not a biological, scientific, but it's a moral question. Your scientists may say something different than my scientists, and we go round and round in circles talking about rights, talking about science, when actually there's no foundation to any of it.
- 56:31
- It's pointless for me talking about rights and science.
- 56:37
- Yes, we can bring those in. Yes, they back up our argument, but ultimately abortion is wrong because God says it is wrong, and that has to be our message, and that has to be a message that we bring to our own churches, it has to be a message that we bring to our pastors, it has to be a message that we bring to the people who are gathered here, but it has to be a message we bring to our legislators as well.
- 57:00
- We're seeing here in the UK this week a massive constitutional change with the death of the
- 57:07
- Queen and the swearing in of a new King, and for me one of the things that really struck me this week, there are protocols when you meet royalty, there are things that you must do, and from a very early age the
- 57:23
- Queen has had people bow to her every time that she meets them, and this week when she passed into eternity, it was her that bowed to the
- 57:34
- King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords, and to her King, and ultimately regardless of who we're talking to, whether it be a legislator, whether it be committees, whether it be, and you were saying about talking to a guy in a dress at a committee, we've still got to bring
- 57:54
- God's standard and God's law into that conversation, even if we think that the person is not going to be receptive, because we still have to say, you're in your position because of God, you're appointed by God, and you're appointed to uphold
- 58:09
- His law and punish the evildoer. That's a very important aspect of this conversation that needs to get talked about often, is that the legislator who's not a believer is still responsible to bow the knee to Jesus Christ because He is
- 58:25
- Lord of all, and God commands men everywhere to repent, including men in dresses, on committees, and so He's in the image of God, so He needs
- 58:33
- Christ, but also the government is an institution, a sphere that God has created for His glory, for our good, and so on both counts, the legislators need the word of God, the law word of God, and they need the call to repentance and faith, so the unbelieving legislator has as much duty before God to yield to His law and to submit to Him as the believing legislator.
- 58:55
- I was telling Luke earlier, we went to a nearby city called
- 59:02
- Londonderry here a few weeks ago, and I bumped into a guy, we held our display, and a guy came over and he was trying to block our images, and he was a socialist, anarchist, atheist, completely hated
- 59:14
- God, and we spoke for an hour and a half, because he was trying to block all the images, it was a captive audience for an hour and a half, and he said to me, he does a lot of kind of work in terms of poverty, and he said, you know what really annoys me about the church?
- 59:30
- What really annoys him about the church is that they don't do things to tackle poverty, they're not trying to tackle poverty, they're not trying to tackle injustice in society, and I said, well they run food banks, they do drop -ins, they support, he said, no, that's charity.
- 59:47
- What I'm talking about is they're not forcing change, they're not making change, and here's a guy who is an atheist, hates
- 59:54
- God, and longs for theonomy, longs for Christians and the church to stand up and say, obey
- 01:00:03
- Jesus, and plead the widow's cause, and seek justice for the fatherless. He is an atheist, is wishing the church would do what
- 01:00:13
- God commands them to do, which is incredible, you know, it really struck me that when we go to legislators, when we go to guys in dresses, to talk to them about God's law and why they must obey
- 01:00:25
- Jesus, we are doing that as much for their benefit as for ours. Oh, yes.
- 01:00:31
- You know, and theonomy and God's law benefits all of humanity, you know, so why wouldn't we go and tell our legislators you must obey
- 01:00:40
- God's law? Because it benefits us all. It's loving our neighbor. It's loving our neighbor. It's justice for our neighbor.
- 01:00:46
- Yeah, totally, and society is crying out for that, they are crying out for that, and they're not getting that from the church.
- 01:00:55
- You know, so for us, we try to come out and we do our stuff in the street, we try to equip
- 01:01:00
- Christians, you know, the people in the pews to go into their own churches, to spread the message, to get their pastors and their ministers to call for abolition, to bring the gospel into this.
- 01:01:13
- We as an organization, we have no membership because we're not trying to build an empire.
- 01:01:19
- We, as an organization, aren't going to abolish abortion, that's going to be the church. You know, and all we exist to do is equip the church and get the church to take a fight.
- 01:01:30
- So when it goes to committees and when it goes to our legislators, it shouldn't be me, it shouldn't be any of the other guys in our group, it should be pastors who are on the front line, who are talking to legislators and demanding the changes that will bring an end to abortion.
- 01:01:48
- You know, and the unfortunate thing is there are many churches where, because of the denominational structures in them, there are committees within a church denomination who deal with the issue of abortion, so many local pastors and ministers don't see it as their job.
- 01:02:04
- They are like, you know, somebody else deals with that. We have parachurch organizations who it just gets shipped out to, and they all tend to be secular organizations, so they're not bringing the gospel into the issue.
- 01:02:18
- So what we're trying to do and what we're trying to equip is pastors who are ordained in this ministry who have the responsibility, and a scary responsibility, to bring the gospel into conflict with this issue.
- 01:02:34
- We're trying to get them to take a stand, get them to be the people who go to legislators and speak out, and our job is simply to equip them to do that.
- 01:02:42
- And it is through the church that God will end this horror in our land.
- 01:02:53
- Hey everyone, this is Pastor Jeff Durbin with End Abortion Now. For the past seven years many of you all have stood with us, you have served alongside of us, you've given financially to this ministry that is dedicated to ending one of the greatest injustices of our day, and that's the slaughter of our pre -born neighbors.
- 01:03:12
- God has blessed us in this ministry, and we're a part of this ministry fundamentally because we're
- 01:03:18
- Christians. The goal of this ministry is to end abortion in Jesus' name as Christians.
- 01:03:26
- We wanted to have a ministry in the area of abortion that was focused on Christ, focused on the gospel, and focused on telling the truth to our culture.
- 01:03:35
- We wanted to do this ministry explicitly as Christians, under the banner of the gospel, with local churches, working together across the
- 01:03:44
- United States of America and around the world. And that's what God has done. God has allowed us to raise up over 900 local churches, equipped and trained absolutely for free, with no cost to them, to go out to their local abortion mills to preach the gospel, to offer help and hope to mothers and fathers who are going inside.
- 01:04:04
- And because of that effort, we have saved tens of thousands of lives. You've been a part of that with us.
- 01:04:10
- If you've prayed for us, if you've given financially over the last seven years, you've been a part of that effort to raise those churches up.
- 01:04:18
- Babies are being saved every single day across the United States of America because of your work together with us.
- 01:04:24
- So I want to first say from my heart, thank you for being a part of this ministry with us.
- 01:04:29
- We've also, because of your help with us over all of these years, been able to give the message of the gospel on our media platforms globally in conflict with the issue of abortion.
- 01:04:40
- It's changed hearts. It's changed minds. We have messages on our platforms of mothers who came across our content, who were on their way to the abortion facility to have their abortion, and now their babies are alive today because of that message.
- 01:04:54
- We've been able to raise up churches, raise up Christians to speak consistently to their neighbors, to their communities, and to their legislatures in this area of abortion because of the content that you've helped us to build.
- 01:05:06
- So I want to say thank you again for that. And we've been able through your help together with us to have bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization go into states across the
- 01:05:17
- United States of America. Bills in Arizona, in Texas, in South Carolina, in Louisiana, in Pennsylvania, in Colorado, and there's more coming.
- 01:05:27
- All of this has happened because you've partnered together with us to end this evil and this great injustice that's perpetrated upon our pre -born neighbors.
- 01:05:36
- And so thank you for being a part of this with us. As many of you know, the numbers are staggering.
- 01:05:43
- 60 million plus human beings have been killed in our nation since Roe versus Wade.
- 01:05:49
- Sixteen million plus and counting. There's more and more all the time. Now we're thankful that we were able to participate in the amicus brief filed by our constitutional attorney,
- 01:06:00
- Bradley Pierce, in the Dobbs case, which ultimately overturned Roe versus Wade. We knew that Roe versus Wade needed to go away.
- 01:06:07
- It was an injustice, an evil court opinion that the states should have actually resisted. However, that Roe decision was actually in the way of us establishing justice in the states.
- 01:06:19
- And now that Roe is out of the way, we have almost 10 states committed to putting in bills of abolition in our union in the beginning of next legislative session.
- 01:06:30
- So we have that happening and Roe is out of the way. I want to just speak to this for a moment. Many, many people believe that essentially this fight is really basically over because Roe is out of the way.
- 01:06:42
- I want to say that the fight has only just begun. Roe's being overturned has not established justice for the pre -born.
- 01:06:48
- We are not anywhere close to equal protection. We don't have criminalization in the states across the United States of America where true justice is established for our neighbors.
- 01:06:56
- And so our fight has really just started. We want to ask you to partner with us in 2023. Once again, we have over 900 churches that are already a part of our network.
- 01:07:06
- We are adding more all the time. We are producing more content that is changing hearts and changing minds and saving lives.
- 01:07:14
- You can see those stories at endabortionnow .com. And we have 10 states right now that we are working in to put bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization in the first quarter of next legislative session.
- 01:07:27
- So we need you to partner with us again in 2023. It is going to be our most important year yet.
- 01:07:32
- So with the 900 churches and with a new website that actually helps you to partner with us in a much more comprehensive way, we have something special for 2023.
- 01:07:44
- And that is that you can go to our new website, endabortionnow .com, and you can actually click on your state.
- 01:07:50
- You can see the churches that are involved in your state that are saving lives, the lives that have been saved.
- 01:07:56
- You're going to be able to hear those stories. And we've made it easy for Christians across the country to fight this battle with us in your particular state.
- 01:08:05
- You go to endabortionnow .com, you go to where the states are, you click on the state, you'll be able to see the lives that have been saved.
- 01:08:11
- And you'll be able to also connect directly to the legislators in your state.
- 01:08:17
- We have everything already prepared for you. It's a pre -filled out form you can send directly to the legislators in your state.
- 01:08:24
- We also have a petition you could sign in your state to put on the desks of the people who need to see it.
- 01:08:30
- We've done all the work for you. We've made it simple so that you can partner with us in your state to establish justice.
- 01:08:37
- All that is coming in 2023. It's our most important year. We need you to stand with us.
- 01:08:43
- Since we started this work, this has grown in incredible ways. It is truly the grace of God that has brought us to this place.
- 01:08:51
- And it is through believers just like you that partnered with us from the very beginning that helped us.
- 01:08:58
- We're not a massive ministry. We're not huge. We don't have the tens of millions of dollars coming in like the pro -life organizations.
- 01:09:04
- We are a local church that is equipping and training other local churches to save lives and that is going to legislators across the country and saying we demand justice immediately and abortion now.
- 01:09:16
- And we've only been able to do this because believers just like you have put your hands in my hands and partnered with me in this ministry, with our team, to make this happen.
- 01:09:26
- You've done this with us. So all of the tens of thousands of babies that are alive today are alive because of God's people sacrificing, praying, partnering with us.
- 01:09:35
- All of the bills that are going in next year to establish justice are happening because believers just like you join together with us financially.
- 01:09:44
- We need your help. We try as a ministry to stay lean and mean and we try as a ministry to make sure that we're as effective as we can possibly be with the truth and with very little budget that we need.
- 01:09:58
- And so this year we need a little over a million dollars for the budget for 2023. I'll give you an example.
- 01:10:04
- In one state last year, Louisiana, that bill itself that was unprecedented and it did a lot of damage, that bill was tens of thousands of dollars to put into place and to work.
- 01:10:16
- And so God blessed it, but we need your partnership as we do this fight. So will you partner with me in 2023?
- 01:10:24
- Help us as a ministry, as a church, as Christians to end this injustice in Jesus' name.
- 01:10:30
- We're doing this as Christians. We're doing this because the gospel. We're doing this because we're called to love our neighbors and to lay our lives down for them.
- 01:10:37
- And we're doing this fundamentally so that we don't have to do it anymore. We don't want to see this regulated.
- 01:10:43
- We're not starting a business. For us, this isn't an industry. We're a church. We're trying to speak the gospel in this area to overcome it with the light of the gospel.
- 01:10:51
- And we're trying to wash our hands of it and then walk away from it once justice is established. Will you help us do that?
- 01:10:58
- Will you join us in 2023 with a donation? Give towards this work. Help us to raise up more churches.
- 01:11:04
- Help us to save more lives, many more lives. And help us to establish justice at the state level.
- 01:11:10
- Partner with us in 2023. I want to thank you for all you ever have done. And I want to thank you for what you give in 2023.
- 01:11:18
- Endabortionnow .com is where you go. Check this site out. You can give there and please participate in all the new features we have there so you can help us and all the states that we're working in to end abortion now.
- 01:11:40
- Hello, my name is Tim and I am the web manager here at End Abortion Now. I have the absolute joy and pleasure to present to you the new and updated endabortionnow .com.
- 01:11:53
- I want to show you just a glimpse into what our donors accomplished this last year by showing you some new tools that will impact the way we politically fight to end abortion around the
- 01:12:05
- United States. At the beginning of 2023, End Abortion Now will be going to be filing 10 state bills of equal protection.
- 01:12:14
- We will be going to Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, South Dakota, and finally
- 01:12:24
- Arkansas. That may sound great and all, but why does it really matter?
- 01:12:30
- Sometimes when we talk about politics, we can really lose sight of what we're actually doing here in trying to end abortion.
- 01:12:38
- We are saving lives. Let me show you why these new tools will impact the way we approach the mission of ending abortion.
- 01:12:47
- Let's go to the new interactive map. Now, let's go to the state of Georgia since we will be submitting a bill of equal protection there next year.
- 01:12:57
- Scroll down and there you'll see 114 babies murdered through abortion every single day.
- 01:13:09
- 114. That means by the end of watching this video, one baby will have died.
- 01:13:16
- By the time we get to the state of Georgia next year, 10 ,260 babies will have been murdered.
- 01:13:23
- If you're like me, you want to do something about this, but know nothing about politics.
- 01:13:29
- This is why we've made it easy through this new tool on endabortionnow .com.
- 01:13:36
- If you continue to follow me on Georgia state page, you will see two primary calls to action that you can take.
- 01:13:43
- Number one, sign the petition. When we submit the bills of equal protection in Georgia and all the other states next year, we want to present a stack of names to the representatives there for political leverage.
- 01:14:00
- How? Tell them if they do not support the bill, they will have thousands of their voters voting them out.
- 01:14:09
- It's easy to do. Just go to your state, click on sign the petition. It takes no time, no commitment.
- 01:14:17
- The second thing we've created is the state page. Among state specific data, you will see a contact your representative button.
- 01:14:26
- When you see us in your state next year, and when you get an email from us telling you to contact your representatives, you want to click this button.
- 01:14:34
- You will see the list of every pro -life politician in your state. You will then systematically email and call each of them, clicking on their names, clicking their email address, copying and pasting the message.
- 01:14:50
- Then you can grab your phone and call them. Use the on -screen script to help assist you in that phone call.
- 01:14:58
- This is what it takes to save the lives of children like little Dakota. You can read about her on the homepage.
- 01:15:05
- This is what it takes to save the lives of precious babies like Savaria, Keyshawn, Kingston, Navy, Rosie, River, all the babies on our testimony page.
- 01:15:15
- These new tools equip us to finally see an end to abortion in these states.
- 01:15:21
- Using these tools is a means of protecting and giving life to thousands of little children this year and thousands more to come.
- 01:15:29
- If you haven't already, please consider helping us end abortion in these states this year.
- 01:15:35
- The cost is great if we continue to do nothing. It's the price of tens of thousands of babies.
- 01:15:43
- But the cost to you right now might be your financial support and a handful of phone calls.
- 01:15:50
- It's worth it. Please join us this year. If you feel led to give, please do so.
- 01:15:57
- Click on the link somewhere in this video or go visit the new site at abortionnow .com.
- 01:16:03
- As you can see, our donors change lives. God bless you all, and I look forward to see what
- 01:16:11
- God will do with your support in the following years. You know, when we first started our ministry to bring the gospel to the abortion mills, we saw the need.
- 01:16:28
- We knew what scripture said about it to rescue those who were being led to death. And so we thought, well, obviously this is something the
- 01:16:35
- Christian church should do. That's where the Christian church belongs. We want to bring the gospel there, tell the truth, especially there, if anywhere.
- 01:16:45
- So we started building everything up to get out to the abortion mill and to bring a team to bring the gospel.
- 01:16:51
- We wanted to make sure we had, you know, people on standby even to adopt children. And we just wanted to save lives and see people come to Christ.
- 01:17:00
- I mean, I can remember putting up the camera and, you know, live streaming us at the abortion mill so we can show believers that, look, we're saving children's lives.
- 01:17:09
- We're seeing saves. We're seeing turnaways. We're having gospel conversations. We turned the live stream on, and it would, the comment section was just filled with people who were professing believers, not unbelievers, but professing believers who were saying things like, that's not how you reach those women.
- 01:17:26
- This isn't the right way to do it. This seems very abrasive. This seems mean -spirited because we were saying, please don't murder your children.
- 01:17:36
- When we initially started doing that, it was the beginning of this whole ministry. And so we had fruit.
- 01:17:41
- We had, you know, babies' lives being saved and us doing baby showers for mothers who turned away from the clinic.
- 01:17:48
- We didn't have a lot of experience with, well, how do you deal with Christians who are telling you don't go out into the public square with the truth?
- 01:17:55
- Don't tell a minutes away from murdering her child, please don't murder your child.
- 01:18:01
- The only way these women are going to come to Christ is if we give them the gospel. The only way their babies are going to be saved is if the church is there, you know, standing up for these children.
- 01:18:10
- And the only way we can actually minister to these women in the long run is if we show up. And so we were surprised.
- 01:18:17
- We were surprised. What ended up happening was so many babies started being saved from this ministry that we stopped responding to people who were in the comments saying, this is wrong, you shouldn't do it.
- 01:18:34
- We just started sharing pictures of the babies that have been saved. So somebody would make, you know, a nasty comment.
- 01:18:40
- We would just share a picture of Olivia Grace and Cara, or we'd share a picture of Carmelo, and that would tend to silence them.
- 01:18:50
- I don't think it's wrong to say, you know, all right, I'm willing to be open to correction.
- 01:18:55
- If there's a better way to do this at the abortion mill to bring the gospel and save lives, I'm all ears.
- 01:19:01
- How many babies have you saved? How many women have you seen turn to Christ through your methodology?
- 01:19:08
- And the answer was crickets. We have trained up and raised about 900 local churches, mostly across the
- 01:19:17
- U .S., but also around the world in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland. We've been to Scotland.
- 01:19:23
- It's happening in Canada, Australia, New Zealand. I mean, really all over. Churches are getting free training and free resources from us to just go out and bring the gospel into this particular area.
- 01:19:36
- The Bible actually gives us a view into what the Spirit of God was doing within His people, in the public square, with the gospel message.
- 01:19:47
- We get a picture of the methodology that actually God used to change the world.
- 01:19:54
- End Abortion Now is a ministry of Apologia Church. It's a local church's ministry to bring the truth of the gospel into conflict with abortion in the public square, in every area.
- 01:20:06
- And so we knew we needed to bring the church to the abortion mill. We needed to bring the gospel there.
- 01:20:12
- We needed to save lives. We needed to raise churches up, and we needed to teach and speak into the culture through all the media platforms we have to tell them the truth about this issue of abortion, and to bring the truth into conflict with error and with darkness in this area.
- 01:20:28
- And we needed also to bring the truth to legislators who are responsible before God to establish justice and to preserve these lives.
- 01:20:37
- And it is a very important area for the church to be involved in because the pro -life establishment, the pro -life industry, has sort of been in charge of fighting this battle since the beginning of Roe vs.
- 01:20:51
- Wade. And the pro -life establishment is explicit. They express it themselves that they are not approaching this as Christians, explicitly.
- 01:21:00
- The head of National Right to Life has said that explicitly, that their organization tries to approach this from a neutral perspective, not as Christians, not with the gospel, not with the call to repentance.
- 01:21:12
- If the problem of abortion is sin, if it's in fact evil, then the only solution is
- 01:21:18
- God's word, God's truth, and the gospel itself. People aren't going to come to life apart from the words of life.
- 01:21:24
- And so the pro -life establishment has fought with compromise, they've fought with neutrality, and the result has been over 62 million dead babies.
- 01:21:35
- The result has been in states across the union bills of partiality, unequal weights and measures.
- 01:21:42
- I mean, the pro -life establishment actually promoting and advocating for and accepting bills that say you can kill these humans, but not these humans, things that God hates.
- 01:21:54
- He says unequal weights and measures are an abomination to Him. We've been able to get bills of equal protection, equal protection from all human life begins at conception, it's in the very image of God, and all human life deserves equal protection.
- 01:22:09
- We've been able to get those kinds of bills into legislatures across the country from Oklahoma to Arizona to Texas to South Carolina to Philadelphia to Ohio to Louisiana.
- 01:22:21
- The problem has been that the pro -life establishment has been the major force fighting against these bills.
- 01:22:28
- We've been getting bills into legislatures and they've been able to stop them from even getting hearings.
- 01:22:34
- We haven't been able to get them past the hearing stage until Louisiana.
- 01:22:41
- What happened in Louisiana was unprecedented. It was historic. In Louisiana, we were able to get a bill into not only the hearing but also onto the floor.
- 01:22:51
- When it went to the hearing stage, it absolutely sailed through the hearing stage with a vote of seven to two.
- 01:22:59
- Since Roe versus Wade, getting bills of equal protection and abolition hasn't really been a thing until very recently.
- 01:23:07
- And then we weren't able to get it past the hearing stage and now we got a bill of equal protection that calls what's in the womb the image of God.
- 01:23:18
- It's a mustard seed that's starting to bloom into a very big tree and it's happening across the country.
- 01:23:23
- We have more states coming very soon. We were even able to argue in the case that ultimately overturned
- 01:23:32
- Roe versus Wade, we were able to argue with an amicus brief in that case. And in our amicus brief, we argued that the court must yield to the authority of Jesus Christ, not just the constitution, but that the authority of God's word in Jesus Christ is ultimate.
- 01:23:49
- It's above the courts. It's above the very constitution itself. It's a transcendent law.
- 01:23:55
- It's an authority above all. And we argued that in the case that ultimately overturned
- 01:24:00
- Roe versus Wade. Do you see what happens? Do you see what happens when the church of Jesus Christ brings
- 01:24:08
- His word to the world? Light in darkness.
- 01:24:16
- And we have that message of life. We have to speak it. I hope you join us in bringing that to the world.
- 01:24:34
- That day we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection and we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill.
- 01:24:45
- Of course the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up. I think Roe versus Wade is one of the worst decisions that's ever come out of the
- 01:24:51
- U .S. Supreme Court. But it's the law. Like it or not, it is the law. It's been the law for almost 50 years. We can't defy the federal courts.
- 01:24:58
- We don't care how much they're defying the constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 01:25:04
- We're outside the Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe versus Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 01:25:14
- We're going to win. We've raised up churches in Canada, the
- 01:25:21
- United States of America, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Northern Ireland, in the Republic of Ireland, in Scotland, all over the world who are preaching the gospel in this area and demanding equal protection for all humans from conception.
- 01:25:35
- And we've been able to get bills in through the work of the church and through End Abortion Now in states across the country,
- 01:25:42
- Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Colorado.
- 01:25:48
- I mean, it's something that's happened across the country. And ultimately, the huge moment was
- 01:25:54
- Louisiana. Yeah.
- 01:26:05
- So in Louisiana, House Bill 813 carried by Representative Danny McCormick, it was a bill that provided equal protection.
- 01:26:12
- And what that means is that all the bill did, it actually didn't really create a new law. States already have laws that prohibit homicide.
- 01:26:20
- Murder is already illegal in every single state. What House Bill 813 did was it took away the abortion exception to that.
- 01:26:28
- So that way, homicide that already protects the lives of born people would now protect the lives of preborn people, people before they're born.
- 01:26:37
- That's what the U .S. Constitution says, no state shall deny equal protection. So that's what the bill did. It provided equal protection.
- 01:26:43
- And that's not just in the U .S. Constitution, that's in the Louisiana Constitution too. It was a very favorable situation that really is unprecedented in terms of the progress of this kind of work that we're trying to put in place to actually protect life at this stage and make abortion illegal.
- 01:27:13
- I'm Guto. Yes. Representative LaFleur. No. Representative Marcel. Representative McCormick.
- 01:27:20
- Yes. Yes. Representative Hodges. Representative Muscarello. Yes. Representative Nelson.
- 01:27:27
- Representative Sebaugh. Yes. Representative Villio. Representative Marino.
- 01:27:34
- No. No. Seven yays, two nays. Thank you. House Bill 813 will be reported favorably.
- 01:27:42
- They approved the bill. They were like, this is common sense. If a fetus is a person, so let's treat them like a person.
- 01:27:49
- How do we treat other people? Let's treat the fetus the same way. If we truly believe that they're persons, like we've said in the pro -life movement for 49 years, let's treat them like that.
- 01:27:58
- The committee said thumbs up. The bill in Louisiana was historic because the bill made it not only to hearing, but past the hearing and onto the floor.
- 01:28:09
- This bill was talked about across the country, MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times. Everybody knew about this bill.
- 01:28:17
- And this bill was a big moment because in all the years of Roe versus Wade, the pro -life establishment hasn't been working to criminalize and abolish abortion.
- 01:28:25
- This was a bill of equal protection, a bill that's consistent with what they say they believe, a bill that says that what's in the womb is in the image of God.
- 01:28:32
- It's human from conception. All humans deserve to be equally protected under the law. They have not fought that way.
- 01:28:39
- And so this was historic in that sense, but it was also historic because it made it to the floor in Louisiana.
- 01:28:44
- And it was a huge moment in Louisiana because as soon as it passed through the hearing stage and it went to the floor, the pro -life establishment was freaking out.
- 01:28:58
- Over the course of the next week, before it got to the floor of the house, there had been lots of lobbying by pro -life organizations, pro -life politicians, pro -life establishment, pro -life lobby, the pro -life industry.
- 01:29:13
- They'd been lobbying saying, you've got to kill this bill. And as you move closer and closer to the day of the actual vote, the establishment came in undercover and they started talking to our legislators, telling them, don't pass that bill.
- 01:29:27
- Don't pass a bill like that. No bill that would actually criminalize abortion and actually provide equal protection.
- 01:29:32
- So the day of the vote itself, over 70 pro -life organizations joined together to put a letter out to legislators across the
- 01:29:39
- United States of America that said that they did not want legislatures to put any bills of equal protection in that would actually call it a crime for everybody involved in killing the child.
- 01:29:51
- They said, we're against criminalizing the mother, which the bill doesn't criminalize the mother.
- 01:29:57
- The bill criminalizes conduct, criminalizes murder, doesn't criminalize the mother. It doesn't even really talk about the mother.
- 01:30:03
- The law applies equally to everybody, just like the laws that protect the lives of born people.
- 01:30:08
- It doesn't single out one particular sex. That day we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection.
- 01:30:18
- And we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill. Of course, the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up.
- 01:30:25
- There was maybe two or three pro -choicers at the Capitol that day. That's how much they knew they didn't have to lift a finger because it was the establishment, the pro -life establishment that came in and tried to convince all of our legislators to not pass the bill because fundamentally they have a worldview that is not a
- 01:30:41
- Christian worldview. They believe that they can acquit the guilty. There are people who murder their children who should not be seen as guilty of the crime of abortion.
- 01:30:52
- And of course, again, this goes against the biblical worldview. It goes against Christian history and Christian tradition.
- 01:30:59
- Christian church has always seen everybody involved in killing a child on the womb as guilty and they need the gospel.
- 01:31:05
- And so we had our work cut out for us, but it was a big moment. Louisiana was huge because it showed the establishment that this small group of Christians with nowhere near the funds and budget they have can deliver a bigger punch and punch a bigger hole than they ever have in 50 years of Roe versus Wade.
- 01:31:28
- My name is Zach Lautenschlager. I've worked in professional politics for the last 24 years, focused my career on no -compromise political fights, defending the right to keep bare arms, and working to return to the right to life.
- 01:31:44
- I've worked with end abortion now for the last three years. Our forefathers sacrificed to that level so that we can stand and fight for the pursuit of happiness using political means.
- 01:32:06
- Louisiana last year, well earlier this year, is certainly, in the last cycle, is certainly another major milestone as legislation moves from committee to a vote on the floor of one chamber.
- 01:32:24
- As far as we know, that's the first, one of the first where we won the committee vote and it moved to the floor.
- 01:32:30
- And this is the way you yardage. You measure progress in politics. Every bill is going to have to go through multiple votes and if you can start moving through winning some of those, you're definitely making progress.
- 01:32:43
- It's really interesting when you talk about, like, how do you put one of these bills in? The truth is, it's so grassroots and so simple that some of it is honestly, in terms of like political acumen or political power and prowess, it's kind of embarrassing.
- 01:33:04
- It's literally Christians calling up legislators and saying, do you believe it's human from conception?
- 01:33:10
- Yes, I need to talk to you. I'm going to pick up the phone and use the publicly available roster of the
- 01:33:19
- House and Senate in my particular state. And I'm going to call their office and I'm going to ask them, would you consider actually ending abortion?
- 01:33:26
- Would you sponsor legislation to end abortion? That's the basic level. It's that kind of grassroots, mustard seed kind of moves in states that has brought all these about.
- 01:33:38
- It's just been a move of the church going to legislators and saying, you said you believe this. Are you a believer?
- 01:33:44
- Yes. Do you want to protect these children? Yes. This is a bill that's consistent. There's not much to it. We're human from conception.
- 01:33:51
- All humans deserve equal protection. Very simple. And so we've been able to work with churches and ourselves talking directly to legislators to find the legislators who want to be brave, find the legislators who are not going to compromise, find the legislators who are going to be consistent and put the bills in those states.
- 01:34:08
- And so, of course, when we get the bill into the state, we gather the churches in that state to rally and also to talk to their legislators to co -sponsor the bill and to pass these bills.
- 01:34:19
- And we're in a new place now because now we're moving into other states in 2023.
- 01:34:24
- And one of the states that we have is Georgia. So it was exhausting. We were all super tired, but it went really well.
- 01:34:32
- Good stuff. The representative we talked to is just solid believer, loves the
- 01:34:38
- Lord, loves God's law. Didn't even have to teach him Lex Rex. He already believed it and said it himself.
- 01:34:44
- God's law is above man's law and the constitution. So that was good. He's a good dude.
- 01:34:51
- We got his commitment. He wants to do it. He wants to work with us and what it's going to look like in terms of when he has the debates.
- 01:34:59
- He wants us on his side, Bradley and me, to answer questions as experts.
- 01:35:05
- He wants to be trained. He wants us to do the groundwork to get the public involved. So he knows what he's doing.
- 01:35:12
- Solid dude. We are leaving the hotel right now to go to the Capitol to film the spots that we're going to be releasing when this stuff goes through.
- 01:35:22
- Just short spots. And then we return home tonight. I think we landed like 745 on time.
- 01:35:29
- Georgia is another state similar to Louisiana in terms of its prospects.
- 01:35:36
- There are quite a few groups on the ground in Georgia right now that are on the exact same page as we are.
- 01:35:46
- We've met with them. We've talked with them. We're equipping them. They're ready to go.
- 01:35:52
- They're on the gospel message. They're consistent. They're not compromised. And they're ready to raise up other churches across the state of Georgia and to make sure that everyone knows this is going on so that our legislators can get the support that they need and that the church of Christ knows about this bill and what's going on.
- 01:36:09
- So we were able even to go to Georgia and meet with all of our organizations that are out there, some of them, to meet with them.
- 01:36:16
- They're all preparing right now for this move as Christians to establish justice for the pre -born in the state of Georgia.
- 01:36:23
- Will it be as impactful as Louisiana and everything that happened there? I think it has the potential to be just as impactful, if not more.
- 01:36:34
- Based on the climate right now, of course, this is the first, you know, legislation at this scale that we're going to be able to shine light on since the overturning of Roe v.
- 01:36:43
- Wade, which is a big, big deal, because legislators, politicians no longer have the excuse of waiting on the
- 01:36:53
- Supreme Court to overturn Roe. That's already done and gone and over with. If anybody has told you that passage of 813 will prevent a single abortion, they misled you or they don't know how the law works.
- 01:37:06
- Because the fact of the matter is, if we pass this bill and the Senate passes this bill and the governor signs this bill, it will be enjoined the next day.
- 01:37:14
- Because Roe v. Wade is still the law of the land. The U .S. Supreme Court said you can't do this.
- 01:37:20
- Thank you for joining us on this Friday night on a day that changed America. We're outside the
- 01:37:26
- Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 01:37:33
- That excuse is gone. You know, a lot of politicians use that. Well, we can't defy the federal courts.
- 01:37:39
- We don't care how much they're defying the Constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 01:37:45
- You can't use that one anymore. Roe is gone. Planned Parenthood v. Casey is gone. And a lot of them have said, like, well, we would do what you're saying.
- 01:37:53
- We would abolish abortion if it weren't for the court. Well, now the court's like, all right, here you go.
- 01:38:00
- And that's what we're saying, too. Here you go, then. Here's your opportunity. Put your money where your mouth is.
- 01:38:07
- Do it. Abolish abortion. We're up against a pro -life industry that even with Roe v.
- 01:38:13
- Wade out of the way, they're still fighting their fight the same way. 15 -week bans. Total partiality.
- 01:38:20
- You can kill this child, but not this child. Heartbeat bills. Roe v. Wade was never the issue.
- 01:38:26
- They're a business. They're an industry. They're staying alive through regulation.
- 01:38:32
- We want this to be over and to wash our hands of it and to walk away. I don't want to do this ministry anymore.
- 01:38:40
- I want justice established and I want this done. So, the bill in Georgia, it does what the
- 01:38:47
- Constitution requires. It provides equal protection. It does what the Georgia Constitution requires, and it provides equal protection.
- 01:38:54
- And equal protection just means one of the laws protect born people, you protect the preborn equally.
- 01:39:06
- I'm looking forward to the battle that's going to happen. There's going to be the abolitionists on one side.
- 01:39:12
- There's going to be the people who believe consistently that a fetus is a person. They're made in the image of God.
- 01:39:18
- They should be protected from conception until natural death. That's where we should be protecting them.
- 01:39:24
- And a lot of people have said that they believe that, but now they're going to have an opportunity in Georgia to prove it.
- 01:39:30
- Prove it. You say you want to abolish abortion. Prove it. Do it. Here's the bill. We're going to win.
- 01:39:37
- And we're going to win, period. Jesus is, according to scripture, putting all of his enemies under his feet.
- 01:39:43
- So, we're going to win. This is ending someday. We're prayerful that Georgia, of course, establishes justice.
- 01:39:52
- But this is going under the feet of Jesus. The church is going to have victory over this. It is an absolute guarantee.
- 01:40:00
- We're one church. We said we're going to do this. We're going to do this until we die.
- 01:40:06
- We're going to end abortion. Abortion, no matter how you measure it, is thriving in South Carolina.
- 01:40:17
- And that is wrong, and that needs to stop. I'd rather have a group of people who are committed to the gospel and the law of God and are willing to open their mouths to the world than 25 ,000 people satisfied with walking around streets and then going home and laying their heads on their pillows.
- 01:40:39
- Praise God. Thank you all for staying so long and standing on your feet so long. I'm going to just seriously express my deepest gratitude for everybody here who has traveled so far and so long to join us in this fight.
- 01:40:52
- Some of you guys have come from different states, from different parts of the country. All of us want to let you know how grateful that we are to you.
- 01:40:58
- So thank you so much for sacrificing so much for the sake of these children, because that's what it's about. So much has been said today.
- 01:41:07
- So faithfully, the most important things we need to understand, that our fight begins with the testimony of Jesus Christ, that this is truly about the gospel and about the authority of Jesus Christ.
- 01:41:21
- The question to be asked here constantly in every area of life is, by what standard?
- 01:41:29
- And you need to understand something. There is something happening right now, a move of God's spirits.
- 01:41:36
- You have to be so cautious saying that, because so many charlatans love to say that sort of thing, right?
- 01:41:42
- There's a move of God's spirit here. No, there is clearly a move of God's spirit happening right now across the country with his people in this area of establishing justice for the pre -born.
- 01:41:55
- There are hundreds upon hundreds of churches who are out on a daily basis going to proclaim the gospel, going to offer help and hope to mothers and fathers, not going to wander and waddle around the abortion mill, praying the rosary with tape over their mouths.
- 01:42:14
- These are Christians who are going and they're calling it murder. They're saying things to mothers and fathers like, mom, dad, please don't murder your child.
- 01:42:25
- We're here to help you. We love you. We'll give you anything you need. We'll pay for anything you need.
- 01:42:31
- We'll even adopt your child. And they're going to proclaim the truth. And babies are being saved every single day in this country, every single day.
- 01:42:46
- And it's not just end abortion now. We're just one church. That's the thing you need to hear.
- 01:42:51
- I'm going to try to portray this more for you in a moment. For those of you guys who are here today, we don't have 25 ,000 people marching through the streets of South Carolina, and that is okay with me.
- 01:43:04
- I'd rather have a group of people who are committed to the gospel and the law of God and are willing to open their mouths to the world than 25 ,000 people satisfied with walking around streets and then going home and laying their heads on their pillows.
- 01:43:19
- Because this is what changes the world. We are one church. Apology at Church, End Abortion Now is just a ministry of Apology at Church.
- 01:43:28
- I want you to hear this to encourage you, to motivate you, to challenge you.
- 01:43:33
- Listen. I know you're tired. You've been standing on your feet. It's getting hot. Thank you that it happened to me. We're one church.
- 01:43:41
- We're raised up close to 900 local churches around the country and around the world.
- 01:43:47
- Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Australia, New Zealand. It's happening around the world right now.
- 01:43:53
- We are just a local church in the desert. Understand that? We are not super special.
- 01:44:00
- We have people who love Jesus, love the world, and want to proclaim Christ's excellencies to the world and his supremacy to the world.
- 01:44:07
- We're one church. We said we're going to do this. We're going to do this till we die. We're going to end abortion.
- 01:44:12
- That's why we're doing this for the glory of Christ and for his namesake. We said it and we meant it.
- 01:44:18
- When we said that at Apology at Church, it was the church known in the Valley, Phoenix.
- 01:44:24
- It was known as That Drug Church. Careful. It's because we started at a drug rehab.
- 01:44:33
- I was a chaplain at a hospital. Everybody at church was a bunch of ex -drug addicts, halfway houses, detox medication, all that stuff.
- 01:44:42
- There was a small handful of believers at Apology at Church at the time that was even willing to go to the abortion mills.
- 01:44:48
- It was new to us as well. That's how we started. We saved two babies our first day and then kept saving babies.
- 01:44:54
- We've saved hundreds of babies locally. We're just one local church in the desert.
- 01:45:00
- Understand that. We're one church. Matt, how many did you say are within how many miles of the abortion mills?
- 01:45:08
- 2 ,000 within an hour and a half. 2 ,000. 2 ,000 Baptist churches within an hour and a half of these abortion mills.
- 01:45:15
- We are one local church in the desert, raised up almost 900 churches who are saving babies every single day.
- 01:45:22
- At least 8 to 10 babies' lives are being saved every single day because of the work that came from one local church.
- 01:45:31
- We have bills happening. I was just in Denver last week, and it was cold. Cold. I'll take this over that.
- 01:45:38
- Trust me. Negative 8 degrees is what it said it felt like, and it was a snowstorm. But we have a bill that went into Colorado for eagle protection.
- 01:45:46
- It was such a powerful bill given by a Christian that we simply sat down and had dinner with and challenged him, and he said, yes,
- 01:45:53
- I'll do it. We're just one local church. We sat with one believing legislator.
- 01:45:58
- He put the bill, and his bill is powerful eagle protection. It's murder, and anybody that tries to thwart the bill, the bill itself says you will be taken out of your job.
- 01:46:09
- That's one bill. We have right now working at over 15 states in 2022 of bills of abolition, criminalization, no compromise.
- 01:46:18
- It's murder. It's criminal. That's happening this year. There is a move of God's Spirit happening, and how do you know that?
- 01:46:28
- How do you know something is in accord with God's Spirit? That's God's Spirit working there, right? The answer is, if it is about Christ and His Lordship and authority, if it is fidelity to His Word, it is from God, and that's what this is right here.
- 01:46:44
- More encouragement. Stay with me. We're one local church. All this is happening.
- 01:46:49
- We're not the only ones doing this. You can see there's veterans here. There are people here who are working just like us.
- 01:46:56
- What we're doing with abortion now is one local church. It's one in the desert in Arizona, but we started this because of one man who challenged me and brought me to my knees for the proclamation of the
- 01:47:12
- Word. It was one faithful man who laid his life down to preach the gospel at abortion mills, to travel the country, to rally
- 01:47:20
- Christians around the Word of God. He challenged me. It was one man that challenged us as a church, and that's why this is happening right now.
- 01:47:28
- He's right over there. That's Rusty Thomas. He doesn't want the attention, and he doesn't want the praise of men.
- 01:47:39
- All that applause is to the glory of God. Amen? Yes? But you need to understand, when you see a crowd like this of people who are gathered with Christ's authority above them, with their hands around the
- 01:47:50
- Word of God and their commitments to that, you have to understand that's how God changes the world. We all know the story of God whittling down armies to make sure that the world knows where it came from.
- 01:48:01
- It came from God. So when you look at yourselves right now and the crowd that's in front of you, we had a lot of people here today, understand something.
- 01:48:09
- What you see happening across the country right now as a move of God's Spirit has been through the mustard seeds, and it is changing the world.
- 01:48:18
- I want to encourage you with what happened to us last week in Colorado. We were in Colorado. We stood around for 12 hours.
- 01:48:25
- If you've seen what happened testifying before Colorado, you're going to see more soon. Once we get the audio cleared up, you're going to see more.
- 01:48:32
- But you see my testifying before the members of the legislature in Colorado. We were there for 12 hours, testified at almost midnight.
- 01:48:40
- That's when that happened. I want you to understand something. Please hear this. The distinction in the movements.
- 01:48:47
- There were two pro -life bills before our bill being heard. One, weak sauce, a registry.
- 01:48:56
- Who's getting the abortions? It lasted for hours, and then it got worse. Another bill seemed all right, but it was compromised.
- 01:49:04
- Life at conception. That sounds great, but it explicitly said the only person criminally guilty for murdering the child is the abortionist and nobody else.
- 01:49:15
- Compromise. Unequal weights and measures that God says is an abomination.
- 01:49:23
- Understand that. When you look at a bill, what do you have to ask yourself as a believer? When you look at a bill and say, okay, should we get behind this?
- 01:49:31
- Should we believe this as Christians? Ask the question, according to God's law word, does
- 01:49:36
- God hate this bill? On the last day, if this bill was put before the
- 01:49:42
- Lord, would he judge it as partial? Would he judge it as unequal weights and measures?
- 01:49:48
- Would he call the bill an abomination? That should be the standard. Is this bill an abomination before God?
- 01:49:55
- And that bill, as much as there was probably good motives and intentions behind it in terms of life at conception, it was partiality.
- 01:50:03
- It was unequal weights and measures, and therefore it was an abomination before God and needed to be rejected.
- 01:50:09
- But the hearing that went up in Denver for that bill had the typical pro -life people, and I don't want to smear their character or their motives at all.
- 01:50:18
- I just want you to know the difference. That bill wasn't ours. When that bill went up, it was the typical pro -life rhetoric.
- 01:50:27
- It was generally Christless, word of God less. It wasn't about Christ and obedience to him.
- 01:50:34
- It wasn't about repentance and establishing immediate justice for all humans. And then came our bill.
- 01:50:41
- There is a move of God's spirit because when our bill went up, the legislator came up.
- 01:50:46
- Dave went up to introduce the bill, and the first thing he did is he confessed his failure to the fellow legislators to let them know why he's doing what he's doing.
- 01:50:57
- And he told them it was about Christ, his authority, his lordship, and the word of God, that it was about the gospel.
- 01:51:06
- This was before the Colorado legislature, which is filled with very hostile people, let me tell you.
- 01:51:15
- You could see fire in their eyes behind their masks, their face diapers.
- 01:51:22
- It looked like they were angry. I don't know. You can never tell with these things. But it's a very hostile legislature, and he preached
- 01:51:29
- Christ. And I want you to know that hearing went on from when I was told until like 3 30 or 4 o 'clock in the morning.
- 01:51:35
- And I had behind me, I spoke first, I had behind me a line of Christians from all over Colorado that came out.
- 01:51:42
- They stayed there all day long until midnight and into the a .m. hours to preach the gospel to the legislators and to demand immediate justice.
- 01:51:52
- There is a move of God's spirit happening in this country. This is unprecedented.
- 01:52:00
- It is unprecedented. And you heard representative Jonathan Hill, who is a hero.
- 01:52:07
- He is a Christian hero. Come up here and tell you before this place, this place of government, and he is in government, that this is about the word of God, Christ, the gospel.
- 01:52:18
- There is a move of God's spirit in this country, brothers and sisters. You can be sure of it because it's rooted in the word of God.
- 01:52:26
- It's rooted in Christ and his authority, his lordship. Very important, brothers and sisters, to be encouraged, to start serving, to start preaching the truth.
- 01:52:38
- Yes, you, you, each of you.
- 01:52:46
- It's the gospel, as Pastor Brandon said. It's the gospel that's the power of God for salvation.
- 01:52:52
- It is what God uses to bring life to the world. When you don't preach it, there is no life.
- 01:53:00
- And that power doesn't have to come through amazing speakers, powerful men.
- 01:53:06
- That power is in the gospel itself, in the spirit of God. Out of the mouth of babes, it can change the world.
- 01:53:15
- So yes, I'm talking to you. It takes you. And Zach said something,
- 01:53:20
- Launchlogger said something at the beginning here. We're grateful that you've come. We're grateful that you're standing here.
- 01:53:26
- We're grateful that you're showing up and you're letting people know that we demand immediate justice. But brothers and sisters, my question to you is this.
- 01:53:34
- What about when you leave here? What about tomorrow? I am not a motivational speaker. I'm not just trying to motivate you and inspire you like a youth camp.
- 01:53:44
- I'm telling you that lives are at stake, that God commands us to bring the story of his gospel and supremacy into the world.
- 01:53:52
- That is our call. And yes, it hurts. Yes, it's going to cost you. It will cost you.
- 01:53:59
- We said as a church when we got into this, I want you to hear this. We got into this. I said to our small church of a bunch of ex -drug addicts at the drug church,
- 01:54:08
- I said if we do this every single day for the rest of our lives as a church and we save one, it's a life well lived and a ministry well spent.
- 01:54:21
- We have saved thousands upon thousands upon thousands of children, thousands upon thousands upon thousands of children.
- 01:54:32
- We have legislation going in across the United States to establish immediate justice because people were willing to take the risk.
- 01:54:40
- When we first started posting going to the abortion mills online, we first posted it.
- 01:54:46
- We would be having thousands of people watching it live and we had non -stop criticism from Christians.
- 01:54:56
- The pro -choice community has barely had to ever lift a finger against us.
- 01:55:02
- It has been Christians who've said, that's not how you reach those women. That seems really harsh and mean.
- 01:55:09
- That's not how you reach those women. You should be doing it a different way. I thought to myself, I thought we're all in agreement here that this is murder and they need the gospel.
- 01:55:17
- We need to love our neighbors. We love ourselves. We're laying our lives down for them. It was confusing to me.
- 01:55:23
- And so then we started saving babies. And so I stopped responding to the comments and when people would make them,
- 01:55:29
- I would just post a picture. Here were twins saved. Here's a baby saved.
- 01:55:36
- Carmelo, here's another baby saved. Where are the babies you've saved? We're talking about methodologies here, right?
- 01:55:44
- You're saying this isn't from God. So my question is this, we've saved 500. How many of you saved from death?
- 01:55:52
- You know what the answer was? Silence. Because it is the word of God that transforms the world.
- 01:56:00
- Not armchair evangelists and theologians on Facebook.
- 01:56:08
- Preach the gospel. Get out there. Lay your life down for the lost. That is how God transforms the world.
- 01:56:14
- We are one church in the desert. The work that we're doing and coordinated with all these other ministries across the country is happening because people said,
- 01:56:23
- I want to love God and love my neighbor and really mean it. I'm going to do something about it.
- 01:56:30
- Don't leave here with a motivational speech. I want to challenge you.
- 01:56:36
- You are called to establish justice. You are called to hold them back from the slaughter.
- 01:56:42
- You are called to love your neighbor as you love yourself. You know what's happening. What are you doing about it?
- 01:56:49
- You need to go to save lives. You need to go to these legislators and you need to demand that they establish justice.
- 01:56:57
- Call them to repentance. Use the word of God. All of this is happening right now across the country. These legislators who are coming up here with these bills and they're preaching
- 01:57:05
- Christ. Do you know how it happened? Christians sat down with them, looked them in the eye and called them to their commitment to the lordship of Jesus Christ and the word of God.
- 01:57:15
- And then God used that to open their eyes and their minds and their hearts.
- 01:57:20
- And that's why this is happening. And you might say, I don't know what to say. My question to you is this. Do you know the gospel?
- 01:57:27
- Do you know what the word of God says about the murder of children? Then go and proclaim that to your legislators and tell them that you will make sure that they don't get elected if they do not stand on the truth.
- 01:57:40
- Speak the truth, brothers and sisters. Don't forget what pastor, I'm not going to preach a sermon. That was amazing.
- 01:57:47
- All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Jesus said that over 2000 years ago, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
- 01:57:56
- That's past tense. He's not waiting for that authority, brothers and sisters. He's the ruler of the kings of the earth.
- 01:58:02
- He is bringing his gospel to the ends of the earth. Don't ever forget that the goal of the gospel is to win the nations to Jesus Christ, the nations to Jesus Christ.
- 01:58:12
- He wants the entire world. That's what he came for. The story of the gospel of the kingdom is a world that is entirely ruled over and transformed by Jesus Christ and his good news.
- 01:58:23
- He is the one who brings peace to the world. We are the ones that proclaim that message of peace. So brothers and sisters, this is our duty as the bride of Christ, his help meet.
- 01:58:35
- That's what we're supposed to be doing. He has all authority. Don't forget how this gospel goes. All authority belongs to his.
- 01:58:41
- He has it all. Go win the nations, baptize them and teach them to obey.
- 01:58:49
- You should have seen the faces, the eyeballs of the legislators in Denver.
- 01:58:55
- They were so in awe of the fact that people were just preaching the law word of God and the gospel.
- 01:59:03
- They were in awe of it. And one of the legislators, if he wants that testifying, he hated me.
- 01:59:09
- When I was talking to him, he got frustrated and he said to the other legislator, he said, he's just going to proselytize.
- 01:59:15
- You're darn skippy. I chose those words carefully.
- 01:59:25
- Apparently I'm known for saying hard things. That's right.
- 01:59:30
- It's about Christ. I'm not ashamed of that. Those legislators were in shock that this was
- 01:59:36
- Christians from all over Colorado proclaiming Christ and the authority of Jesus Christ, calling them to repent and to obey
- 01:59:44
- Jesus. This is unprecedented. It's a powerful moment. And I want you to understand very important thing here.
- 01:59:51
- The question is by what standard will you fight? The pro -life industry explicitly says they are not
- 01:59:58
- Christian. They are not Christian organizations. It is not about the word of God. They say we're about the science.
- 02:00:05
- Great science. Obviously it's God's world shows what God's world word says that what's in the womb from the moment of conception is human life from conception that cannot be disputed.
- 02:00:18
- It won't be disputed because it is a dangerous game to play to come against all of that evidence.
- 02:00:24
- These legislators won't fight that. Listen, this is not a biological question. It's an ethical one.
- 02:00:31
- It's a moral question. You cannot fight this fight with the biological question because I'm going to tell you what they say.
- 02:00:38
- They know that it's fully human. They admit it's fully human, but they say even though it's fully human, we still have the right to kill these children.
- 02:00:48
- It's ethical, which means it is about human sin and depravity.
- 02:00:53
- And the only way you solve the problem of human sin is not through rational argumentation.
- 02:01:00
- You've got men walking around wearing dresses. You could say, isn't it obvious to you that you're not a lady?
- 02:01:11
- Look at your beard. Look between your legs. You're not a woman.
- 02:01:16
- It's offensive to say that you are. Just take a gander yonder.
- 02:01:25
- Rational argumentation isn't the problem. It is that this is an image bearer of God at war with their creator, and they're exchanging
- 02:01:34
- God for the creature, and they are now flipping the order of creation.
- 02:01:40
- They are living according to their lust. It's sin. You are not going to convince the world through mere rational argumentation.
- 02:01:48
- They need eyes to see. They need to be able to hear, and they need new hearts.
- 02:01:54
- And the only way that happens, brothers and sisters, is through the church proclaiming his gospel.
- 02:02:00
- This is an issue of sin, and that's why we must not compromise. Last thing
- 02:02:07
- I'll say, and you know we never mean it. I was laughing when you, one more point, this guy, we're twins.
- 02:02:15
- That's awesome. The issue of compromise.
- 02:02:24
- The issue of compromise. Jesus proclaims his gospel in a way that most evangelicals in the
- 02:02:30
- West today do not. Give Jesus a chance. Give him a try. Just let him into your little heart.
- 02:02:37
- He wants to have a romance with you. This is all about a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus. Now, of course, there's elements to that that are true.
- 02:02:44
- We have an intimate relationship with God. We're reconciled. We have peace with God. I get all that. Of course, that's true. God redeems us.
- 02:02:50
- He saves us by his grace through faith in Christ alone. Apart from any work, we get his righteousness. He takes all of our sin.
- 02:02:56
- We have eternal life. We're kept by the power of God. Amen to all of that. But we preach the gospel in a way that's very different than Jesus.
- 02:03:05
- He has crowds that follow him, and what does he say? He turns to him when he's getting a megachurch movement going, looking pretty good.
- 02:03:13
- We can get a big building, lots of programs. And he says, if anyone comes to me and does not hate, and then he names all of our favorite people in life, mother, father, sister, brother, wife.
- 02:03:24
- He says, you're not worthy to be my disciple. He says, if you don't come to him and carry the cross, that is come to die, then you're not worthy to be his disciple.
- 02:03:33
- Jesus preaches a gospel without compromise, and he's willing for the crowd, listen, for the crowd to leave.
- 02:03:42
- And he turns after the crowd leaves to now this very small band of brothers, and he says to them at times, he says, what?
- 02:03:53
- Do you also want to leave? And they got it.
- 02:03:59
- They said, where are we going to go? You have the words of eternal life.
- 02:04:07
- Now, that was a small, very confused band of brothers in the first century, and you exist today in South Carolina and believers all over the world from every tribe, tongue, people and hearing the gospel redeemed by God because of this very confused, small band of brothers who understood that it is about eternal life.
- 02:04:31
- Jesus preached the gospel without compromise, and he was willing to have the small crew of people who understood what it was really about.
- 02:04:43
- That's how he changes the world. Mustard seeds to large trees, leaven in lumps of dough in what looks insignificant is absolutely significant to God because it's his power anyways, and he wants the glory for himself.
- 02:05:01
- And that's why he does what he does. No compromise. We will not compromise on these bills.
- 02:05:09
- We will call into repentance. We will call it evil. We will call it partiality.
- 02:05:15
- We will say no, equal justice, equal protection now for all human beings without compromise.
- 02:05:22
- And someone says, why don't you give a little? Say that to Jesus. Jesus, just give a little on the gospel.
- 02:05:29
- Like, let him get a foot in the door first, Jesus, before you scare him away with the dying parts. Right? I mean, why don't we invite him to church and give him cotton candy and popcorn at the door?
- 02:05:40
- You know, try to sort of, you know, love him into this a bit. Jesus says, no, look, if you're not going to come die, don't come.
- 02:05:48
- Don't come. So we go with the same no compromise gospel message to the legislature by saying the same things to them.
- 02:05:56
- Obey Christ. Question, how much all of you, every bit.
- 02:06:03
- It is Christ who has all authority and it is his law word that is the standard.
- 02:06:10
- Brothers and sisters, that's what we must preach. Go tell the world the message of Jesus.
- 02:06:15
- Go preach it. Call the world to repentance and faith. Tell the world about his excellencies and his peace and demand of these legislators to obey their
- 02:06:25
- King early on in this nation. It wasn't a utopia.
- 02:06:30
- It wasn't a perfect place, but we're experiencing to this very moment, the blessings that the
- 02:06:36
- Christians and pastors put into place. You're still getting it now. It's hanging by a thread, but you're getting it now.
- 02:06:42
- They understood in the new England pulpit before it went to war with England, who had the authority and what the standard was.
- 02:06:50
- Listen, the word was Lex Rex. The law is
- 02:06:56
- King. It is not the King or the legislators are law.
- 02:07:01
- The law is King. If you do not recognize a transcendent law above the government, then government has become deified.
- 02:07:12
- This represents a foreign God, a rival God to this King. And so we do, yes, come to the legislature and we say,
- 02:07:22
- Christ is King. You are supposed to obey Jesus. Repent and obey
- 02:07:28
- Jesus. Obey his law. That's the call. Stop compromising. Stop being fearful of what we actually believe.
- 02:07:35
- Actually have integrity to say to legislators, oh yeah, it's because the word of God.
- 02:07:41
- It's because Jesus Christ has all authority. You tell that message and brothers and sisters, abortion is going to end in this country.
- 02:07:49
- Hello, my name is
- 02:07:55
- Tim and I am the web manager here at End Abortion Now. I have the absolute joy and pleasure to present to you the new and updated endabortionnow .com.
- 02:08:07
- I want to show you just a glimpse into what our donors accomplished this last year by showing you some new tools that will impact the way we politically fight to end abortion around the
- 02:08:18
- United States. At the end abortion now, we'll be going to be filing 10 state bills of equal protection.
- 02:08:28
- We will be going to Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, South Dakota, and finally
- 02:08:38
- Arkansas. That may sound great and all, but why does it really matter?
- 02:08:44
- Sometimes when we talk about politics, we can really lose sight of what we're actually doing here in trying to end abortion.
- 02:08:52
- We are saving lives. Let me show you why these new tools will impact the way we approach the mission of ending abortion.
- 02:09:00
- Let's go to the new interactive map. Now let's go to the state of Georgia since we will be submitting a bill of equal protection there next year.
- 02:09:11
- Scroll down and there you'll see 114 babies murdered through abortion every single day.
- 02:09:23
- 114. That means by the end of watching this video, one baby will have died.
- 02:09:30
- By the time we get to the state of Georgia next year, 10 ,260 babies will have been murdered.
- 02:09:37
- If you're like me, you want to do something about this but know nothing about politics.
- 02:09:43
- This is why we've made it easy through this new tool on endabortionnow .com.
- 02:09:50
- If you continue to follow me on Georgia's state page, you will see two primary calls to action that you can take.
- 02:09:57
- Number one, sign the petition. When we submit the bills of equal protection in Georgia and all the other states next year, we want to present a stack of names to the representatives there for political leverage.
- 02:10:13
- How? Tell them if they do not support the bill, they will have thousands of their voters voting them out.
- 02:10:22
- It's easy to do. Just go to your state, click on sign the petition.
- 02:10:28
- It takes no time, no commitment. The second thing we've created is the state page.
- 02:10:34
- Among state specific data, you will see a contact your representative button. When you see us in your state next year, and when you get an email from us telling you to contact your representatives, you want to click this button.
- 02:10:47
- You will see the list of every pro -life politician in your state. You will then systematically email and call each of them.
- 02:10:56
- Clicking on their names, clicking their email address, copying and pasting the message.
- 02:11:03
- Then you can grab your phone and call them. Use the on -screen script to help assist you in that phone call.
- 02:11:12
- This is what it takes to save the lives of children like little Dakota. You can read about her on the home page.
- 02:11:18
- This is what it takes to save the lives of precious babies like Savaria, Keyshawn, Kingston, Navy, Rosie, River, all the babies on our testimony page.
- 02:11:29
- These new tools equip us to finally see an end to abortion in these states.
- 02:11:35
- Using these tools is a means of protecting and giving life to thousands of little children this year and thousands more to come.
- 02:11:42
- If you haven't already, please consider helping us end abortion in these states this year.
- 02:11:48
- The cost is great if we continue to do nothing. It's the price of tens of thousands of babies.
- 02:11:56
- But the cost to you right now might be your financial support and handful of phone calls.
- 02:12:04
- It's worth it. Please join us this year. If you feel led to give, please do so.
- 02:12:11
- Click on this link somewhere in this video or go visit the new site at endabortionnow .com.
- 02:12:17
- As you can see, our donors change lives. God bless you all and I look forward to seeing what
- 02:12:24
- God will do with support in the following years. is to end abortion in Jesus' name as Christians.
- 02:13:06
- We wanted to have a ministry in the area of abortion that was focused on Christ, focused on the gospel, and focused on telling the truth to our culture.
- 02:13:16
- We wanted to do this ministry explicitly as Christians under the banner of the gospel with local churches working together across the
- 02:13:25
- United States of America and around the world. And that's what God has done. God has allowed us to raise up over 900 local churches equipped and trained absolutely for free with no cost to them to go out to their local abortion mills to preach the gospel, to offer help and hope to mothers and fathers who are going inside.
- 02:13:44
- And because of that effort, we have saved tens of thousands of lives. You've been a part of that with us.
- 02:13:51
- If you've prayed for us, if you've given financially over the last seven years, you've been a part of that effort to raise those churches up.
- 02:13:58
- Babies are being saved every single day across the United States of America because of your work together with us.
- 02:14:04
- So I want to first say from my heart, thank you for being a part of this ministry with us.
- 02:14:09
- We've also, because of your help with us over all of these years, been able to give the message of the gospel on our media platforms globally in conflict with the issue of abortion.
- 02:14:21
- It's changed hearts. It's changed minds. We have messages on our platforms of mothers who came across our content who were on their way to the abortion facility to have their abortion.
- 02:14:32
- And now their babies are alive today because of that message. We've been able to raise up churches, raise up Christians to speak consistently to their neighbors, to their communities and to their legislatures in this area of abortion because of the content that you've helped us to build.
- 02:14:46
- So I want to say thank you again for that. And we've been able through your help together with us to have bills of abolition, equal protection and criminalization go into states across the
- 02:14:58
- United States of America. Bills in Arizona, in Texas, in South Carolina, in Louisiana, in Pennsylvania, in Colorado.
- 02:15:06
- And there's more coming. All of this has happened because you've partnered together with us to end this evil and this great injustice that's perpetrated upon our pre -born neighbors.
- 02:15:17
- And thank you for being a part of this with us. As many of you know, the numbers are staggering.
- 02:15:23
- 60 million plus human beings have been killed in our nation since Roe versus Wade.
- 02:15:30
- 60 million plus and counting. There's more and more all the time. Now we're thankful that we were able to participate in the amicus brief filed by our constitutional attorney
- 02:15:41
- Bradley Pierce in the Dobbs case, which ultimately overturned Roe versus Wade. We knew that Roe versus Wade needed to go away.
- 02:15:48
- It was an injustice, an evil court opinion that the states should have actually resisted. However, that Roe decision was actually in the way of us establishing justice in the states.
- 02:15:59
- And now that Roe is out of the way, we have almost 10 states committed to putting in bills of abolition in our union in the beginning of next legislative session.
- 02:16:11
- So we have that happening and Roe is out of the way. I want to just speak to this for a moment. Many, many people believe that essentially this fight is really basically over because Roe is out of the way.
- 02:16:22
- I want to say that the fight has only just begun. Roe's being overturned has not established justice for the pre -born.
- 02:16:29
- We are not anywhere close to equal protection. We don't have criminalization in the states across the United States of America, where true justice is established for our neighbors.
- 02:16:37
- And so our fight has really just started. We want to ask you to partner with us in 2023. Once again, we have over 900 churches that are already a part of our network.
- 02:16:47
- We are adding more all the time. We are producing more content that is changing hearts and changing minds and saving lives.
- 02:16:55
- You can see those stories at endabortionnow .com. And we have 10 states right now that we are working in to put bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization in in the first quarter of next legislative session.
- 02:17:07
- So we need you to partner with us again in 2023. It is going to be our most important year yet.
- 02:17:13
- So with the 900 churches and with a new website that actually helps you to partner with us in a much more comprehensive way, we have something special for 2023, and that is that you can go to our new website, endabortionnow .com,
- 02:17:28
- and you can actually click on your state. You can see the churches that are involved in your state that are saving lives, the lives that have been saved.
- 02:17:36
- You're going to be able to hear those stories. And we've made it easy for Christians across the country to fight this battle with us in your particular state.
- 02:17:46
- You go to endabortionnow .com, you go to where the states are, you click on the state, you'll be able to see the lives that have been saved, and you'll be able to connect directly to the legislators in your state.
- 02:17:58
- We have everything already prepared for you. It's a pre -filled out form you can send directly to the legislators in your state.
- 02:18:04
- We also have a petition you could sign in your state to put on the desks of the people who need to see it.
- 02:18:11
- We've done all the work for you. We've made it simple so that you can partner with us in your state to establish justice.
- 02:18:18
- All that is coming in 2023. It's our most important year. We need you to stand with us.
- 02:18:24
- Since we started this work, this has grown in incredible ways. It is truly the grace of God that has brought us to this place, and it is through believers just like you that partnered with us from the very beginning that helped us.
- 02:18:39
- We're not a massive ministry. We're not huge. We don't have the tens of millions of dollars coming in like the pro -life organizations.
- 02:18:45
- We are a local church that is equipping and training other local churches to save lives, and that is going to legislators across the country and saying we demand justice immediately and abortion now.
- 02:18:57
- And we've only been able to do this because believers just like you have put your hands in my hands and partnered with me in this ministry, with our team, to make this happen.
- 02:19:06
- You've done this with us. So all of the tens of thousands of babies that are alive today are alive because of God's people sacrificing, praying, partnering with us.
- 02:19:16
- All of the bills that are going in next year to establish justice are happening because believers just like you join together with us financially.
- 02:19:25
- We need your help. We try as a ministry to stay lean and mean, and we try as a ministry to make sure that we're as effective as we can possibly be with the truth and with very little budget that we need.
- 02:19:38
- And so this year we need a little over a million dollars for the budget for 2023. I'll give you an example.
- 02:19:45
- In one state last year, Louisiana, that bill itself that was unprecedented and it did a lot of damage, that bill was tens of thousands of dollars to put into place and to work.
- 02:19:57
- And so God blessed it, but we need your partnership as we do this fight. So will you partner with me in 2023?
- 02:20:04
- Help us as a ministry, as a church, as Christians to end this injustice in Jesus' name.
- 02:20:10
- We're doing this as Christians. We're doing this because of the gospel. We're doing this because we're called to love our neighbors and to lay our lives down for them.
- 02:20:17
- And we're doing this fundamentally so that we don't have to do it anymore. We don't want to see this regulated.
- 02:20:23
- We're not starting a business. For us, this isn't an industry. We're a church. We're trying to speak the gospel in this area, to overcome it with the light of the gospel, and we're trying to wash our hands of it and then walk away from it once justice is established.
- 02:20:37
- Will you help us do that? Will you join us in 2023 with a donation? Give towards this work.
- 02:20:43
- Help us to raise up more churches. Help us to save more lives, many more lives. And help us to establish justice at the state level.
- 02:20:51
- Partner with us in 2023. I want to thank you for all you ever have done, and I want to thank you for what you give in 2023.
- 02:20:58
- Endabortionnow .com is where you go. Check this site out. You can give there, and please participate in all the new features we have there so you can help us in all the states that we're working in to end abortion now.
- 02:21:20
- Hey everyone, this is Pastor Jeff Durbin with End Abortion Now. For the past seven years, many of you all have stood with us.
- 02:21:27
- You have served alongside of us. You've given financially to this ministry that is dedicated to ending one of the greatest injustices of our day, and that's the slaughter of our pre -born neighbors.
- 02:21:39
- God has blessed us in this ministry, and we're a part of this ministry fundamentally because we're
- 02:21:46
- Christians. The goal of this ministry is to end abortion in Jesus' name as Christians.
- 02:21:53
- We wanted to have a ministry in the area of abortion that was focused on Christ, focused on the gospel, and focused on telling the truth to our culture.
- 02:22:03
- We wanted to do this ministry explicitly as Christians under the banner of the gospel with local churches working together across the
- 02:22:11
- United States of America and around the world, and that's what God has done. God has allowed us to raise up over 900 local churches equipped and trained absolutely for free, with no cost to them, to go out to their local abortion mills to preach the gospel, to offer help and hope to mothers and fathers who are going inside.
- 02:22:31
- And because of that effort, we have saved tens of thousands of lives. You've been a part of that with us.
- 02:22:37
- If you've prayed for us, if you've given financially over the last seven years, you've been a part of that effort to raise those churches up.
- 02:22:45
- Babies are being saved every single day across the United States of America because of your work together with us.
- 02:22:51
- So I want to first say from my heart, thank you for being a part of this ministry with us.
- 02:22:56
- We've also, because of your help with us over all of these years, been able to give the message of the gospel on our media platforms globally in conflict with the issue of abortion.
- 02:23:07
- It's changed hearts. It's changed minds. We have messages on our platforms of mothers who came across our content, who were on their way to the abortion facility to have their abortion, and now their babies are alive today because of that message.
- 02:23:21
- We've been able to raise up churches, raise up Christians to speak consistently to their neighbors, to their communities, and to their legislatures in this area of abortion because of the content that you've helped us to build.
- 02:23:33
- So I want to say thank you again for that. And we've been able through your help together with us to have bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization go into states across the
- 02:23:44
- United States of America. Bills in Arizona, in Texas, in South Carolina, in Louisiana, in Pennsylvania, in Colorado, and there's more coming.
- 02:23:54
- All of this has happened because you've partnered together with us to end this evil and this great injustice that's perpetrated upon our pre -born neighbors.
- 02:24:03
- And so thank you for being a part of this with us. As many of you know, the numbers are staggering.
- 02:24:10
- 60 million plus human beings have been killed in our nation since Roe versus Wade.
- 02:24:16
- 60 million plus and counting. There's more and more all the time. Now we're thankful that we were able to participate in the amicus brief filed by our constitutional attorney
- 02:24:27
- Bradley Pierce in the Dobbs case, which ultimately overturned Roe versus Wade. We knew that Roe needed to go away.
- 02:24:34
- It was an injustice, an evil court opinion that the states should have actually resisted. However, that Roe decision was actually in the way of us establishing justice in the states.
- 02:24:46
- And now that Roe is out of the way, we have almost 10 states committed to putting in bills of abolition in our union at the beginning of next legislative session.
- 02:24:57
- So we have that happening and Roe is out of the way. I want to just speak to this for a moment. Many, many people believe that essentially this fight is really basically over because Roe is out of the way.
- 02:25:09
- I want to say that the fight has only just begun. Roe's being overturned has not established justice for the pre -born.
- 02:25:15
- We are not anywhere close to equal protection. We don't have criminalization in the states across the United States of America where true justice is established for our neighbors.
- 02:25:24
- And so our fight has really just started. We want to ask you to partner with us in 2023. Once again, we have over 900 churches that are already a part of our network.
- 02:25:33
- We are adding more all the time. We are producing more content that is changing hearts and changing minds and saving lives.
- 02:25:41
- You can see those stories at endabortionnow .com. And we have 10 states right now that we are working in to put bills of abolition, equal protection, and criminalization in in the first quarter of next legislative session.
- 02:25:54
- So we need you to partner with us again in 2023. It is going to be our most important year yet.
- 02:26:00
- So with the 900 churches and with a new website that actually helps you to partner with us in a much more comprehensive way, we have something special for 2023.
- 02:26:11
- And that is that you can go to our new website, endabortionnow .com, and you can actually click on your state.
- 02:26:17
- You can see the churches that are involved in your state that are saving lives, the lives that have been saved.
- 02:26:23
- You're going to be able to hear those stories. And we've made it easy for Christians across the country to fight this battle with us in your particular state.
- 02:26:32
- You go to endabortionnow .com. You go to where the states are. You click on the states. You'll be able to see the lives that have been saved.
- 02:26:39
- And you'll be able to also connect directly to the legislators in your state.
- 02:26:44
- We have everything already prepared for you. It's a pre -filled out form you can send directly to the legislators in your state.
- 02:26:51
- We also have a petition you could sign in your state to put on the desks of the people who need to see it.
- 02:26:57
- We've done all the work for you. We've made it simple so that you can partner with us in your state to establish justice.
- 02:27:04
- All that is coming in 2023. It's our most important year. We need you to stand with us.
- 02:27:10
- Since we started this work, this has grown in incredible ways. It is truly the grace of God that has brought us to this place.
- 02:27:18
- And it is through believers just like you that partnered with us from the very beginning that helped us.
- 02:27:25
- We're not a massive ministry. We're not huge. We don't have the tens of millions of dollars coming in like the pro -life organizations.
- 02:27:32
- We are a local church that is equipping and training other local churches to save lives and that is going to legislators across the country and saying we demand justice immediately.
- 02:27:42
- End abortion now. And we've only been able to do this because believers just like you have put your hands in my hands and partnered with me in this ministry with our team to make this happen.
- 02:27:53
- You've done this with us. So all of the tens of thousands of babies that are alive today are alive because of God's people sacrificing, praying, partnering with us.
- 02:28:02
- All of the bills that are going in next year to establish justice are happening because believers just like you joined together with us financially.
- 02:28:11
- We need your help. We try as a ministry to stay lean and mean and we try as a ministry to make sure that we're as effective as we can possibly be with the truth and with very little budget that we need.
- 02:28:25
- And so this year we need a little over a million dollars for the budget for 2023. I'll give you an example.
- 02:28:31
- In one state last year, Louisiana, that bill itself that was unprecedented and it did a lot of damage, that bill was tens of thousands of dollars to put into place and to work.
- 02:28:43
- And so God blessed it, but we need your partnership as we do this fight. So will you partner with me in 2023?
- 02:28:51
- Help us as a ministry, as a church, as Christians to end this injustice in Jesus' name.
- 02:28:57
- We're doing this as Christians. We're doing this because the gospel. We're doing this because we're called to love our neighbors and to lay our lives down for them.
- 02:29:04
- And we're doing this fundamentally so that we don't have to do it anymore. We don't want to see this regulated.
- 02:29:10
- We're not starting a business. For us, this isn't an industry. We're a church. We're trying to speak the gospel in this area, to overcome it with the light of the gospel, and we're trying to wash our hands of it and then walk away from it once justice is established.
- 02:29:24
- Will you help us do that? Will you join us in 2023 with a donation? Give towards this work.
- 02:29:29
- Help us to raise up more churches. Help us to save more lives, many more lives, and help us to establish justice at the state level.
- 02:29:37
- Partner with us in 2023. I want to thank you for all you ever have done, and I want to thank you for what you give in 2023.
- 02:29:45
- Endabortionnow .com is where you go. Check this site out. You can give there, and please participate in all the new features we have there so you can help us in all the states that we're working in to end abortion now.
- 02:30:07
- Hello. My name is Tim, and I am the web manager here at End Abortion Now. I have the absolute joy and pleasure to present to you the new and updated endabortionnow .com.
- 02:30:20
- I want to show you just a glimpse into what our donors accomplished this last year by showing you some new tools that will impact the way we politically fight to end abortion around the
- 02:30:32
- United States. At the beginning of 2023, End Abortion Now will be going to be filing 10 state bills of equal protection.
- 02:30:42
- We will be going to Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, South Dakota, and finally
- 02:30:51
- Arkansas. That may sound great and all, but why does it really matter?
- 02:30:58
- Sometimes when we talk about politics, we can really lose sight of what we're actually doing here in trying to end abortion.
- 02:31:05
- We are saving lives. Let me show you why these new tools will impact the way we approach the mission of ending abortion.
- 02:31:14
- Let's go to the new interactive map. Now, let's go to the state of Georgia, since we will be submitting a bill of equal protection there next year.
- 02:31:25
- Scroll down and there you'll see 114 babies murdered through abortion every single day.
- 02:31:36
- 114. That means by the end of watching this video, one baby will have died.
- 02:31:43
- By the time we get to the state of Georgia next year, 10 ,260 babies will have been murdered.
- 02:31:51
- If you're like me, you want to do something about this, but know nothing about politics.
- 02:31:56
- This is why we've made it easy through this new tool on endabortionnow .com.
- 02:32:03
- If you continue to follow me on Georgia's state page, you will see two primary calls to action that you can take.
- 02:32:11
- Number one, sign the petition. When we submit the bills of equal protection in Georgia and all the other states next year, we want to present a stack of names to the representatives there for political leverage.
- 02:32:27
- How? Tell them if they do not support the bill, they will have thousands of their voters voting them out.
- 02:32:36
- It's easy to do. Just go to your state, click on sign the petition.
- 02:32:42
- It takes no time, no commitment. The second thing we've created is the state page.
- 02:32:48
- Among state -specific data, you will see a contact your representative button. When you see us in your state next year, and when you get an email from us telling you to contact your representatives, you want to click this button.
- 02:33:01
- You will see the list of every pro -life politician in your state. You will then systematically email and call each of them, clicking on their names, clicking their email address, copying and pasting the message.
- 02:33:17
- Then you can grab your phone and call them. Use the on -screen script to help assist you in that phone call.
- 02:33:26
- This is what it takes to save the lives of children like little Dakota. You can read about her on the homepage.
- 02:33:32
- This is what it takes to save the lives of precious babies like Savaria, Keyshawn, Kingston, Navy, Rosie, River, all the babies on our testimony page.
- 02:33:42
- These new tools equip us to finally see an end to abortion in these states.
- 02:33:49
- Using these tools is a means of protecting and giving life to thousands of little children this year and thousands more to come.
- 02:33:56
- If you haven't already, please consider helping us end abortion in these states this year.
- 02:34:02
- The cost is great if we continue to do nothing. It's the price of tens of thousands of babies.
- 02:34:10
- But the cost to you right now might be your financial support and a handful of phone calls.
- 02:34:17
- It's worth it. Please join us this year. If you feel led to give, please do so.
- 02:34:25
- Click on the link somewhere in this video or go visit the new site at endabortionnow .com.
- 02:34:31
- As you can see, our donors change lives. God bless you all and I look forward to see what
- 02:34:38
- God will do with your support in the following years. You know, when we first started our ministry to bring the gospel to the abortion mills, we saw the need.
- 02:34:55
- We knew what scripture said about it to rescue those who were being led to death. And so we thought, well, obviously this is something the
- 02:35:02
- Christian church should do. That's where the Christian church belongs. We want to bring the gospel there, tell the truth, especially there, if anywhere.
- 02:35:12
- So we started building everything up to get out to the abortion mill and to bring a team, to bring the gospel.
- 02:35:19
- We wanted to make sure we had, you know, people on standby even to adopt children. And we just wanted to save lives and see people come to Christ.
- 02:35:28
- I mean, I can remember putting up the camera and, you know, live streaming us at the abortion mill so we can show believers that, look, we're saving children's lives.
- 02:35:36
- We're seeing saves. We're seeing turnaways. We're having gospel conversations. We turned the live stream on and it would, the comment section was just filled with people who were professing believers, not unbelievers, but professing believers who were saying things like, that's not how you reach those women.
- 02:35:54
- This isn't the right way to do it. This seems very abrasive. This seems mean spirited because we were saying, please don't murder your children.
- 02:36:02
- When we initially started doing that, it was the beginning of this whole ministry. And so we had fruit.
- 02:36:09
- We had, you know, baby's lives being saved and us doing baby showers for mothers who turned away from the clinic.
- 02:36:15
- We didn't have a lot of experience with, well, how do you deal with Christians who are telling you, don't go out into the public square with the truth.
- 02:36:22
- Don't tell a mother who was minutes away from murdering her child, please don't murder your child.
- 02:36:28
- The only way these women are going to come to Christ is if we give them the gospel. The only way their babies are going to be saved is if the church is there, you know, standing up for these children.
- 02:36:38
- And the only way we can actually minister to these women in the long run is if we show up. And so we were surprised.
- 02:36:44
- We were surprised. What ended up happening was so many babies started being saved from this ministry that we stopped responding to people who were in the comments saying, this is wrong.
- 02:37:00
- You shouldn't do it. We just started sharing pictures of the babies that have been saved. So somebody would make, you know, a nasty comment.
- 02:37:07
- We would just share a picture of Olivia Grace and Cara or we'd share a picture of Carmelo and that would tend to silence them.
- 02:37:18
- I don't think it's wrong to say, you know, all right, I'm willing to be open to correction. If there's a better way to do this at the abortion mill to bring the gospel and save lives,
- 02:37:27
- I'm all ears. How many babies have you saved? How many women have you seen turn to Christ through your methodology?
- 02:37:35
- And the answer was crickets. We have trained up and raised about 900 local churches, mostly across the
- 02:37:44
- U .S., but also around the world in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland. We've been to Scotland.
- 02:37:50
- It's happening in Canada, Australia, New Zealand. I mean, really all over. Churches are getting free training and resources from us to just go out and bring the gospel into this particular area.
- 02:38:03
- The Bible actually gives us a view into what the Spirit of God was doing within His people in the public square with the gospel message.
- 02:38:15
- We get a picture of the methodology that actually God used to change the world.
- 02:38:22
- End Abortion Now is a ministry of Apologia Church. It's a local church's ministry.
- 02:38:27
- To bring the truth of the gospel into conflict with abortion in the public square in every area.
- 02:38:34
- And so we knew we needed to bring the church to the abortion mill. We needed to bring the gospel there.
- 02:38:39
- We needed to save lives. We needed to raise churches up. And we needed to teach and speak into the culture through all the media platforms we have to tell them the truth about this issue of abortion and to bring the truth into conflict with error and with darkness in this area.
- 02:38:55
- And we needed also to bring the truth to legislators who are responsible before God to establish justice and to preserve these lives.
- 02:39:04
- And it is a very important area for the church to be involved in because the pro -life establishment, the pro -life industry has sort of been in charge of fighting this battle since the beginning of Roe v.
- 02:39:18
- Wade. And the pro -life establishment is explicit. They express it themselves that they are not approaching this as Christians explicitly.
- 02:39:28
- The head of National Right to Life has said that explicitly that their organization tries to approach this from a neutral perspective, not as Christians, not with the gospel, not with the call to repentance.
- 02:39:40
- If the problem of abortion is sin, if it's in fact evil, then the only solution is God's word,
- 02:39:46
- God's truth, and the gospel itself. People aren't going to come to life apart from the words of life. And so the pro -life establishment has fought with compromise, they've fought with neutrality, and the result has been over 62 million dead babies.
- 02:40:02
- The result has been in states across the union bills of partiality, unequal weights and measures.
- 02:40:09
- I mean, the pro -life establishment actually promoting and advocating for and accepting bills that say you can kill these humans, but not these humans.
- 02:40:19
- Things that God hates, he says unequal weights and measures are an abomination to him.
- 02:40:26
- We've been able to get bills of equal protection, equal protection from conception.
- 02:40:31
- All human life begins at conception. It's in the very image of God, and all human life deserves equal protection.
- 02:40:37
- We've been able to get those kinds of bills into legislatures across the country, from Oklahoma to Arizona to Texas to South Carolina to Philadelphia to Ohio to Louisiana.
- 02:40:48
- The problem has been that the pro -life establishment has been the major force fighting against these bills.
- 02:40:55
- We've been getting bills into legislatures, and they've been able to stop them from even getting hearings.
- 02:41:01
- We haven't been able to get them past the hearing stage until Louisiana.
- 02:41:08
- What happened in Louisiana was unprecedented. It was historic. In Louisiana, we were able to get a bill into not only the hearing, but also onto the floor.
- 02:41:18
- When it went to the hearing stage, it absolutely sailed through the hearing stage with a vote of 7 to 2.
- 02:41:27
- Since Roe versus Wade, getting bills of equal protection and abolition hasn't really been a thing until very recently.
- 02:41:34
- And then we weren't able to get them past the hearing stage. And now we got a bill of equal protection that calls what's in the womb the image of God.
- 02:41:45
- It's a mustard seed that's starting to bloom into a very big tree, and it's happening across the country.
- 02:41:51
- We have more states coming very soon. We were even able to argue in the case that ultimately overturned
- 02:41:59
- Roe versus Wade. We were able to argue with an amicus brief in that case. And in our amicus brief, we argued that the court must yield to the authority of Jesus Christ, not just the
- 02:42:11
- Constitution, but that the authority of God's Word and Jesus Christ is ultimate. It's above the court.
- 02:42:17
- It's above the very Constitution itself. It's a transcendent law. It's an authority above all.
- 02:42:24
- And we argued that in the case that ultimately overturned Roe versus Wade. Do you see what happens?
- 02:42:31
- Do you see what happens when the church of Jesus Christ brings His Word to the world?
- 02:42:40
- Light in darkness. And we have that message of life. We have to speak it.
- 02:42:48
- I hope you join us in bringing that to the world. That day, we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection, and we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill.
- 02:43:12
- Of course, the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up. I think Roe versus Wade is one of the worst decisions that's ever come out of the
- 02:43:18
- U .S. Supreme Court, but it's the law. Like it or not, it is the law. It's been the law for almost 50 years. We can't defy the federal courts.
- 02:43:26
- We don't care how much they're defying the Constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 02:43:31
- We're outside the Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe versus Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 02:43:41
- We're going to win. We've raised up churches in Canada, the
- 02:43:48
- United States of America, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Northern Ireland, in the Republic of Ireland, in Scotland, all over the world who are preaching the gospel in this area and demanding equal protection for all humans from conception.
- 02:44:03
- And we've been able to get bills in through the work of the church and through End Abortion Now in states across the country,
- 02:44:09
- Arizona, Texas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Colorado.
- 02:44:15
- I mean, it's something that's happened across the country. And ultimately the huge moment was
- 02:44:21
- Louisiana. Yeah.
- 02:44:32
- So in Louisiana, House Bill 813 carried by Representative Danny McCormick, it was a bill that provided equal protection.
- 02:44:39
- And what that means is that all the bill did, it actually didn't really create a new law. You know, states already have laws that prohibit homicide, right?
- 02:44:48
- Murder is already illegal in every single state. What House Bill 813 did was it took away the abortion exception to that.
- 02:44:55
- So that way, homicide that already protects the lives of born people would now protect the lives of pre -born people, people before they're born.
- 02:45:04
- That's what the U .S. Constitution says. No state shall deny equal protection. So that's what the bill did. It provided equal protection.
- 02:45:10
- And that's not just in the U .S. Constitution. That's in the Louisiana Constitution too. It was a very favorable situation that really is unprecedented in terms of the progress of this kind of work that we're trying to put in place to actually protect life at this stage and make abortion illegal.
- 02:45:40
- I'm Guto. Yes. Representative LaFleur. No. Representative Marcel. Representative McCormick.
- 02:45:47
- Yes. Yes. Representative Hodges. Representative Muscarello. Yes. Representative Nelson.
- 02:45:54
- Representative Sebaugh. Absolutely. Yes. Representative Viglio. Representative Marino.
- 02:46:00
- No. No. Seven yays, two nays. Thank you. House Bill 813 will be reported favorably.
- 02:46:09
- They approved the bill. They were like, this is common sense. If a fetus is a person, so let's treat them like a person.
- 02:46:16
- How do we treat other people? Let's treat the fetus the same way. If we truly believe that they're persons, like we've said in the pro -life movement for 49 years, let's treat them like that.
- 02:46:25
- The committee said, thumbs up. The bill in Louisiana was historic because the bill made it not only to hearing, but past the hearing and onto the floor.
- 02:46:36
- This bill was talked about across the country, MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times. Everybody knew about this bill and this bill was a big moment because in all the years of Roe versus Wade, the pro -life establishment hasn't been working to criminalize and abolish abortion.
- 02:46:52
- This was a bill of equal protection, a bill that's consistent with what they say they believe. A bill that says that what's in the womb is in the image of God.
- 02:46:59
- It's human from conception. All humans deserve to be equally protected under the law. They have not fought that way.
- 02:47:06
- And so this was historic in that sense, but it was also historic because it made it to the floor in Louisiana.
- 02:47:11
- And it was a huge moment in Louisiana because as soon as it passed through the hearing stage and it went to the floor, the pro -life establishment was freaking out.
- 02:47:25
- Over the course of the next week, before it got to the floor of the house, there had been lots of lobbying by pro -life organizations, pro -life politicians, pro -life establishment, pro -life lobby, the pro -life industry.
- 02:47:40
- They'd been lobbying saying, you've got to kill this bill. And as we moved closer and closer to the day of the actual vote, the establishment came in undercover and they started talking to our legislators, telling them don't pass that bill.
- 02:47:53
- Don't pass a bill like that, no bill that would actually criminalize abortion and actually provide equal protection.
- 02:47:59
- So the day of the vote itself, over 70 pro -life organizations joined together to put a letter out to legislators across the
- 02:48:06
- United States of America that said that they did not want legislatures to put any bills of equal protection in that would actually call it a crime for everybody involved in killing the child.
- 02:48:18
- They said, we're against criminalizing the mother, which the bill doesn't criminalize the mother.
- 02:48:24
- The bill criminalizes conduct, criminalizes murder, doesn't criminalize the mother. It doesn't even really talk about the mother.
- 02:48:30
- The law applies equally to everybody, just like the laws that protect the lives of born people.
- 02:48:36
- It doesn't single out one particular sex. That day we were standing as Christians for a consistent bill of justice and righteousness and protection.
- 02:48:44
- And we had essentially two groups that were warring against the bill. Of course, the pro -choicers, but they didn't even need to show up.
- 02:48:52
- There was maybe two or three pro -choicers at the Capitol that day. That's how much they knew they didn't have to lift a finger because it was the establishment, the pro -life establishment that came in and tried to convince all of our legislators to not pass the bill because fundamentally they have a worldview that is not a
- 02:49:08
- Christian worldview. They believe that they can acquit the guilty. There are people who murder their children who should not be seen as guilty of the crime of abortion.
- 02:49:19
- And of course, again, this goes against the biblical worldview. It goes against Christian history and Christian tradition.
- 02:49:26
- Christian church has always seen everybody involved in killing a child on the womb as guilty and they need the gospel.
- 02:49:33
- And so we had our work cut out for us, but it was a big moment. Louisiana was huge because it showed the establishment that this small group of Christians with nowhere near the funds and budget they have can deliver a bigger punch and punch a bigger hole than they ever have in 50 years of Roe versus Wade.
- 02:49:55
- My name is Zach Lautenschlager. I've worked in professional politics for the last 24 years, focused my career on no compromise, political fights, defending the right to keep and bear arms, and working to return to the right to life.
- 02:50:12
- I've worked with end abortion now for the last three years. Our forefathers sacrificed to that level so that we can stand and fight for the rights to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness using political means.
- 02:50:33
- Louisiana last year, well, earlier this year is certainly, in the last cycle, is certainly another major milestone as legislation moves from committee to a vote on the floor of one chamber.
- 02:50:51
- As far as we know, that's one of the first where we won the committee vote and it moved to the floor.
- 02:50:57
- And this is the way you measure yardage. You measure progress in politics. Every bill is going to have to go through multiple votes.
- 02:51:05
- And if you can start moving through winning some of those, you're definitely making progress. It's really interesting when you talk about, like, how do you put one of these bills in?
- 02:51:15
- The truth is, it's so grassroots and so simple that some of it is, honestly, in terms of political acumen or political power and prowess, it's kind of embarrassing.
- 02:51:31
- It's literally Christians calling up legislators and saying, do you believe it's human from conception?
- 02:51:37
- Yes, I need to talk to you. I'm going to pick up the phone and use the publicly available roster of the
- 02:51:46
- House and Senate in my particular state. And I'm going to call their office and I'm going to ask them, would you consider actually ending abortion?
- 02:51:53
- Would you sponsor legislation to end abortion? That's the basic level. It's that kind of grass roots, mustard seed kind of moves in states that has brought all these about.
- 02:52:05
- It's just been a move of the church going to legislators and saying, you said you believe this. Are you a believer?
- 02:52:11
- Yes. Do you want to protect these children? Yes. This is a bill that's consistent. There's not much to it. For human from conception, all humans deserve equal protection.
- 02:52:20
- Very simple. And so we've been able to work with churches and ourselves talking directly to legislators to find the legislators who want to be brave, find the legislators who are not going to compromise, find the legislators who are going to be consistent and put the bills in those states.
- 02:52:35
- And so, of course, when we get the bill into the state, we gather the churches in that state to rally and also to talk to their legislators to co -sponsor the bill and to pass these bills.
- 02:52:46
- And we're in a new place now because now we're moving into other states in 2023.
- 02:52:51
- And one of the states that we have is Georgia. So it was exhausting. We were all super tired, but it went really well.
- 02:53:00
- Good stuff. The representative we talked to is just solid believer, loves the
- 02:53:05
- Lord, loves God's law. Didn't even have to teach him Lex Rex. He already believed it and said it himself.
- 02:53:11
- God's law is above man's law and the Constitution. So that was good. He's a good dude.
- 02:53:18
- We got his commitment. He wants to do it. He wants to work with us on what it's going to look like in terms of when he has the debates.
- 02:53:26
- He wants us on his side, Bradley and me, to answer questions as experts.
- 02:53:32
- He wants to be trained. He wants us to do the groundwork to get the public involved.
- 02:53:38
- So he knows what he's doing. Solid dude. We are leaving the hotel right now to go to the Capitol to film the spots that we're going to be releasing when this stuff goes through.
- 02:53:49
- Just short spots. And then we return home tonight. I think we landed like 7 .45
- 02:53:57
- Georgia is another state similar to Louisiana in terms of its prospects.
- 02:54:04
- There are quite a few groups on the ground in Georgia right now that are on the exact same page as we are.
- 02:54:13
- We've met with them. We've talked with them. We're equipping them. They're ready to go.
- 02:54:19
- They're on the gospel message. They're consistent. They're not compromised. And they're ready to of Georgia and to make sure that everyone knows this is going on so that our legislators can get the support that they need and that the
- 02:54:31
- Church of Christ knows about this bill and what's going on. So we were able even to go to Georgia and meet with all of our organizations that are out there, some of them, to meet with them.
- 02:54:43
- They're all preparing right now for this move as Christians to establish justice for the pre -born in the state of Georgia.
- 02:54:50
- Will it be as impactful as Louisiana and everything that happened there? I think it has the potential to be just as impactful, if not more.
- 02:55:01
- Based on the climate right now, of course, this is the first legislation at this scale that we're going to be able to shine light on since the overturning of Roe v.
- 02:55:11
- Wade, which is a big, big deal because legislators, politicians no longer have the excuse of waiting on the
- 02:55:20
- Supreme Court to overturn Roe. That's already done and gone and over with.
- 02:55:25
- If anybody has told you that passage of 813 will prevent a single abortion, they misled you or they don't know how the law works because the fact of the matter is, if we pass this bill and the
- 02:55:36
- Senate passes this bill and the governor signs this bill, it will be enjoined the next day because Roe v.
- 02:55:42
- Wade is still the law of the land. The U .S. Supreme Court said you can't do this.
- 02:55:47
- Thank you for joining us on this Friday night on a day that changed America. We're outside the
- 02:55:53
- Supreme Court after the landmark decision that overturned Roe v. Wade and ended a woman's constitutional right to an abortion.
- 02:56:01
- That excuse is gone. A lot of politicians use that. Well, we can't defy the federal courts.
- 02:56:06
- We don't care how much they're defying the Constitution. We can't defy them. Well, that excuse is gone.
- 02:56:12
- You can't use that one anymore. Roe is gone. Planned Parenthood v. Casey is gone. And a lot of them have said, like, well, we would we would do what you're saying.
- 02:56:21
- We would abolish abortion if it weren't for the court. Well, now the court's like, all right, here you go.
- 02:56:27
- And that's that's what we're saying, too. Here you go, then. Here's your opportunity. Put your money where your mouth is.
- 02:56:34
- Do it. Abolish abortion. We're up against a pro -life industry that even with Roe v.
- 02:56:40
- Wade out of the way, they're still fighting their fight the same way. Fifteen week bans. Total partiality.
- 02:56:47
- You can kill this child, but not this child. Heartbeat bills. Roe v. Wade was never the issue.
- 02:56:53
- They're a business. They're an industry. They're they're staying alive through regulation.
- 02:56:59
- We want this to be over and to wash our hands of it and to walk away. I don't want to do this ministry anymore.
- 02:57:06
- I want justice established and I want this done. So the bill in Georgia, it does what the
- 02:57:14
- Constitution requires. It provides equal protection. It does what the Georgia Constitution requires, and it provides equal protection.
- 02:57:21
- And equal protection just means one of the laws protect born people and protect the pre -born equally.
- 02:57:33
- I'm looking forward to the battle that's going to happen. There's going to be the abolitionists on one side.
- 02:57:39
- There's going to be the people who believe consistently that a fetus is a person. They're made in the image of God.
- 02:57:45
- They should be protected from conception until natural death. That's where we should be protecting them.
- 02:57:51
- And a lot of people have said that they believe that, but now they're going to have an opportunity in Georgia to prove it.
- 02:57:57
- Prove it. You say you want to abolish abortion? Prove it. Do it. Here's the bill.
- 02:58:03
- We're going to win. We're going to win, period. Jesus is, according to Scripture, putting all of his enemies under his feet.
- 02:58:10
- So we're going to win. This is ending someday. We're prayerful that Georgia, of course, establishes justice, but this is going under the feet of Jesus.
