We launched GotQuestions .org in February of 2002 to provide a place online where people could come and ask any questions they have about the

Bible, anything that's spiritually related. And over the years we've developed a team of volunteers who help us answer all the questions we receive.

So far in our history, we've answered nearly 600 ,000 questions and we have over 250 volunteer writers who help us answer all the questions.

And another one of the powerful things about the Internet is the anonymity of it all. People can come and ask us questions that maybe they've been too embarrassed to ask a friend or a pastor.

We don't know them, they don't know us. We provide them with a biblically based answer to help them with the issue that they're dealing with.

And I have to tell you, there's no more effective online outreach in the world. Last month alone, 10 million unique visitors reached, thousands of people giving their life to Christ, and it's because of an

Internet outreach that has become so effective. Everyone has questions. Whether it's issues that they're dealing with due to things that they've done, whether it's struggles that they have from stuff that's been done to them, whether it's temptations, trials, whatever, everyone has questions.

And unfortunately, very few people are going to churches to find answers to their questions. Where are they going? They're going online.

They go to Google. They search for a topic. How can I receive forgiveness from God? How can I know for sure

I go to heaven when I die? How can I overcome this particular temptation in my life? We want to be there with a biblically based answer to whatever question they have, because ultimately, if they're not getting the truth from God, they're not truly receiving the answer to their question.

There are three primary ways that people use GotQuestions .org. First is for their own personal study.
