The greatest problem you have is the very problem the Gospel addresses. That you stand before God in wretched and filthy garments. He is too holy to look upon your sin. He is too holy to sweep your sin under the rug.
He is too holy to laugh at.
Or make an excuse for your sin.
And yet the Gospel comes in and makes a way for God in His holy grace and beautiful justice and merciful kindness to atone for your sins in Christ. This is the Gospel, friends. It provides us a Savior.
We owe God an eternal debt. A debt that we could never pay. A debt that many will suffer under for all eternity and hell. But it doesn't have to be that way for you. Why? Because the Gospel is providing.
It provides a Savior. A substitute who has fulfilled all righteousness. Who has become a wrath satisfying sacrifice. And one who has resurrected in victory.
