A lot of people looked up to Steve Lawson. It's a public sin. What do you expect? Right people who have been under Steve Lawson's influence in his various ministry

Capacities are gonna have questions and they're gonna talk about it. They're gonna wonder it's gonna probably tempt some of them

Spiritually restoring someone lest you be tempted But I also think of the importance of the local church comforting someone who's truly repentant

Matthew 18 stuff. Okay, great So shouldn't he be at his local church? Receiving the comfort that 2nd

Corinthians 2 talks about for someone who's in sin who's repentant It's time for the church to not ostracize him but come around him and comfort him and be part of the restoration process

But not those things aren't happening here because of the celebrity. Let's just face it It's the celebrity status of Steve Lawson If he was treated like any other sinner in a church should be treated in a similar situation

Who isn't a celebrity in the Christian world, then it would be simple you keep going to the same church

You receive comfort from those people you confess it you do so publicly because it's a public sin

It's been revealed publicly. The elders are the ones working with you directly to restore you

It doesn't mean you can't have third party counselors, but they're not the primary authorities in this whole thing is just bonkers
