Getting Vengeance in Perspective

Vengeance is something we almost always get wrong. Inappropriate vengeance causes perpetual conflict in countless individual relationships, families, and nations. Intrigue, violence, and carnage are the outcome. At the same time, a lack of appreciation for the proper exercise of vengeance has been every bit as destructive to our human family. It spreads the delusion that God will not judge. We desperately need to get vengeance in the right perspective. That is our subject today.
