Hurricane Ian: Another Opportunity for the Word-Faith Weather Warriors
0 views
The ability to control the weather is a common claim of the modern Word-Faith preachers. Here comes an opportunity for them to put on display what they claim to be able to do. This opportunity is named Hurricane Ian that is predicted to impact Florida's western coast. The Word-Faith preachers, of course, will fail as they always do.
- 00:05
- Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Justin Peters. I hope that this finds you and your family doing well today.
- 00:12
- Wanna thank you so much for joining me for this podcast. Let me begin by apologizing for not posting a lot on this channel in the last month or two, couple of months, really.
- 00:24
- Some of you have asked me if anything is wrong. No, nothing at all is wrong. I have just been in a very busy stretch here in the last couple of months.
- 00:32
- I've been to Finland and to Brazil. Just got back from Brazil a couple of weeks ago and wonderful, wonderful trips to both of those places.
- 00:40
- Such warm, sweet people. And several domestic preaching engagements sprinkled in between those.
- 00:49
- In fact, I just got back yesterday from Colorado. Had a wonderful trip there. Grace Church, Greeley, Colorado.
- 00:55
- Super fine folks. So anyway, it's been a very busy stretch and I just haven't been here, quite honestly, to put much time into these videos.
- 01:04
- And they do take a great deal of time to put together. So I'm throwing this one together very quickly.
- 01:10
- This is a real, my YouTube channel is no frills anyway, but this video will be really no frills.
- 01:16
- But I do this video, really, I take absolutely no joy in this, but I do it because we're about to enter into another opportunity for the
- 01:28
- Word Faith Preachers to do what they claim to be able to do, but never seem to be able to do in reality, and that is to control the weather.
- 01:38
- So as you know, undoubtedly, Hurricane Ian is barreling towards the western coast of Florida.
- 01:46
- I am recording this on the afternoon of September 27th at 5 .23 p .m.
- 01:52
- Mountain Standard Time. And I just checked a few minutes ago, Hurricane Ian has crossed
- 01:59
- Cuba, it's in the Gulf, and it looks like it's going to hit somewhere between Tampa and Fort Myers, Florida, the western coast there of Florida.
- 02:08
- And that is not good. Typically, hurricanes come in, they hit the eastern coast of Florida because they travel from east to west or from southeast to northwest, usually.
- 02:21
- But this one is going to make a rather rare landfall on the western coast of Florida.
- 02:29
- And the expectations are, predictions, that there will be a storm surge of five to 10 feet.
- 02:35
- Now, that would be very bad for this area of Florida because it is so low and so flat there.
- 02:42
- And if those models turn out to be true, then this will be a record -breaking storm surge for this part of Florida.
- 02:52
- So Word Faith Weather Warriors, all you Word Faith Weather Warriors out there, you claim to be able to control the weather.
- 03:00
- Well, once again, for the umpteenth time, you've got an opportunity to do it, to do what you claim to be able to do.
- 03:11
- You have been unsuccessful. You've got a perfect, unblemished record of failure in controlling the weather.
- 03:22
- But here's one more opportunity. Now, most all of the Word Faith preachers claim to be able to do this.
- 03:28
- They claim to have authority over the created world, and that means that they have dominion over it and they can control the weather.
- 03:37
- Gloria Copeland famously claims to be able to control the weather. I've had a video of her in my seminar claiming that she can speak to tornadoes and make them go away, and she says, we have the ability to do the same thing.
- 03:50
- And so that video has really made the rounds in the last number of years. But it's not just Gloria.
- 03:56
- Also, her husband, Kenneth Copeland, as you might suspect, he makes the same claim, as does
- 04:02
- Creflo Dollar, as does Rod Parsley. I've heard them make similar statements. Jesse Duplantis, he also claims to be able to control the weather, and he lives down in South Louisiana, right outside New Orleans.
- 04:17
- And just last year, Hurricane whatever that was, the name of it escapes me right now, but came into Southern Louisiana there, right where he lives, but he claimed to take authority over that storm and he was gonna get rid of it.
- 04:33
- Well, it came on in anyway, actually did some damage to his own home and his own ministry there.
- 04:39
- So an unbroken record of failure, kind of like their presidential prophecies, unbroken record of failure in prophesying those.
- 04:51
- So here's another opportunity. You've got, they're saying this thing's gonna make landfall
- 04:56
- Thursday, so about 48 hours from now, give or take a little bit. So you've got a little bit of time.
- 05:03
- Everybody knows it's coming. You know it's coming. So get out there and do your thing.
- 05:09
- Kat Kerr, the pink haired prophetess, who lives in Florida and goes to heaven multiple times a day.
- 05:16
- Take your magic Gandalf staff. Those of you who are familiar with Kat Kerr, every time a hurricane gets near Florida, she goes out and videos herself with her magic
- 05:26
- Gandalf staff and she starts wailing that thing around, flailing it like a wild woman, claiming to be able to command the millibars to rise in a hurricane.
- 05:37
- I command those millibars to rise, she says. Nevermind that millibars aren't actually a tangible thing.
- 05:43
- They don't exist, except they're just an abstract unit of matter. They're not a measurement, but whatever. So anyway, do your thing,
- 05:50
- Kat Kerr, you weather warrior, you. Do your thing. Looks like some human life may be lost.
- 05:59
- Pray that that is not the case, but certainly property damage in the, who knows how many millions to even possibly billions of dollars.
- 06:10
- It's not looking good. It's not looking good. So weather warriors, do your thing. Take control over the hurricane.
- 06:17
- You claim to be able to do it, so do it.
- 06:23
- Do it. I pray that the Hurricane Ian will be diminished.
- 06:29
- I pray that it will not be as bad as what they're saying. And maybe it won't be.
- 06:35
- Maybe it won't be. Maybe by a kind providence of God, it won't be as bad as what they are saying it will be.
- 06:40
- But you word faith preachers, you weather warriors, you claim to have authority and dominion over the weather.
- 06:50
- So why don't you command that hurricane, Hurricane Ian, right now to just dissipate? Do it and make it dissipate instantly.
- 06:59
- Now, if it weakens and comes in and just doesn't do as much damage as we fear it might, and the meteorologists fear it might, well, that would be certainly welcome news, but that's not gonna be real.
- 07:11
- That's not gonna be definitive. That's not gonna be real impressive. So if you have authority over the weather, and you claim to be able to do just as incredible and even greater signs than Jesus did,
- 07:24
- Jesus spoke to the storm, right? And the seas calmed instantly.
- 07:30
- The winds died instantly. So you claim to be able to do the same thing that Jesus did and even greater things than these, even greater signs than those.
- 07:40
- So do it, command Hurricane Ian to dissipate. And if you can do what you claim to be able to do, then the entire hurricane should just vanish, disappear.
- 07:53
- That's what it ought to do, instantly. So get to it. But looks like once again, you're probably going to fall flat on your face.
- 08:04
- Just yet another example of the utter bankruptcy of the word faith movement.
- 08:12
- So dear ones, I hope to be wrong in the sense that I hope that Hurricane Ian does diminish and we should be praying that it does.
- 08:21
- I am praying that it does. We should be praying for those in its path, especially those of the household of faith.
- 08:28
- Pray that God would protect brothers and sisters in Christ, especially down in that area. I have good friends there in that area, so I'm praying for them.
- 08:37
- The bottom line is, is that there is only one who controls the weather and that is the creator of the weather, the
- 08:44
- Alpha and Omega, Yahweh, the Lord of hosts. He is the one who is in control of the weather.
- 08:52
- Not Kenneth Copeland, not Gloria Copeland, not Jesse Duplantis, not Kat Kerr, only
- 08:58
- God. So, all right, dear ones, thank you very much for watching and Lord willing,
- 09:03
- I will have some more videos posting pretty soon, several more in the Inigo Montoya series
- 09:10
- I have in the hopper and some more interviews I want to do. There's actually a lot of videos I want to get done, a lot of things on my short list here, but Lord willing, those will be coming up.
- 09:20
- I'm still in a very busy stretch, but I will try to get some to you. Thank you so very much for watching. Until our next time together, may the grace of our
