Answering Questions for GotQuestions.org

Hello, my name is Tom and this is my lovely wife Lana, and we're coming to you today to talk about GodQuestions .org. Lana, how long have you been answering questions for GodQuestions?

Since 2006.

2006, and do you enjoy doing that type of work?

Yes, I do, very much.

Okay, and were you doing that type of work before?

Well, yes, I'm a therapist. Before I had children and I worked outside the home, I did, I worked in mental health.

Scripture-Based Answers Versus Psychological Theory

And how is answering questions on GodQuestions different from your career in mental health?

Well, because GodQuestions is based on scripture and not based on, you know, psychological theory, and I found that in those facilities we were really just giving them a temporary solution or a band-aid solution, and this is actual scripture, it's the actual answer to the problem, if the people take the answer, that is.

That's great, that's great. And so what is the most rewarding part of answering questions on GodQuestions?

Helping Seekers and Studying the Bible Regularly

Just helping the person who's asking the question, making sure that they hopefully understand the answer, and my prayer is that the Lord will speak through me and give them the answer that they're searching for.

Excellent, and how has God answering these questions helped you in your walk with the Lord?

Well, I have to support everything I say with scripture, so I have to study my Bible at least three times a week, because I get three questions a week.

So we should all sign up to answer questions for GodQuestions.

Yes, I should probably sign up to answer seven, so I would do seven.

Well, that's fantastic. Well, thank you for your time, and thank you, Lana, for all that you do, and from our home to yours, God bless. Keep sending those questions.
