God Uses Luther’s Flawed Pen to Recover the Gospel | Mark 1:14-15, Rom 1:16-17

Lord's Day: Nov 17, 2024  Preacher: Carlos Montijo [https://www.thorncrowncovenant.church/sermons/preacher/p/19307/carlos-montijo] Series: God Uses Luther's Flawed Pen... [https://www.thorncrowncovenant.church/sermons/series/god-uses-luthers-flawed-pen] Topic: Reformation [https://www.thorncrowncovenant.church/sermons/topic/reformation] Scripture: Mark 1:14–15 [https://ref.ly/Mark%201.14%E2%80%9315;nasb95?t=biblia], Romans 1:16–17 [https://ref.ly/Rom%201.16%E2%80%9317;nasb95?t=biblia]

Now after John had been delivered up into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:14–15

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “But the righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:16–17

We meet on Sundays for worship at 10:00am:
