I know y 'all wasn't thinking about that before we walked by here. Most people don't think about that. Right, right. We don't get up in the morning going, hey man,

I could die today. Do it. Give yourself to God, he forgives you of those sins.

Okay. So even though you are that, then you should go to heaven. When you mean give yourself to God, what do you mean?

I'm not disagreeing. Right, right. Okay. You ask him to be your

Lord and Savior. Okay. Give yourself to him. So what, you haven't said what Jesus Christ plays in that.

It's your being, God. Because he sacrificed his life. Okay, so there, that's the intercessor. So when you say give yourself to God, God can mean a lot of things in this world.

Right, right. And we can even say that there's a lot of Jesuses in the world, but there's only one Jesus that came with the perfect life and died the perfect death that you and me could not do.

Jesus Christ came into the world for one purpose, to seek and to save that which was lost. You and me come into this world lost, man.

We come into the world deserving the wrath of God. But he sent his son into the world to live a perfect life and to die a cruel death on a cross, bearing the sins of everybody that would believe.

And that's why we can say all of those who are heavy laden should come unto him and he will give them rest.

And that's why we can say that for whosoever calls on the name of the Lord, they will be saved.

Jesus came and he died. Yeah, he died so that sinners could be forgiven. But he lived a perfect life.

You have to remember God's demands perfection. You and me fall short. All of sin and falling short of the glory of God.

God's demands perfection. God didn't lower his standards. What he did is he brought the perfect standards into the world so that sinners could be forgiven by providing a substitute death and then a substitute for that righteousness.

And he has said this, I call all men everywhere to repent because I'm going to judge the world in righteousness by that man.

And how do you know? Because I raised him from the dead. We're going to stand before God and we're going to give him the count. It's not going to be, hey man, did

I work hard? Did I love my kids? Did I love my life? I think those are all good things, all right? I want you to understand that. But when you die, you stand before God and say, what did you do with Jesus Christ?

And that's why Jesus came into the world. Live a perfect life. Die that perfect death so that we can be forgiven by simply repenting, turning from our sin and trusting in him and living our life for him.

Lord Jesus Christ. You put on the Lord Jesus Christ and you jump. Though it may be a bumpy ride, but I promise you,

Jesus Christ will get you safely to your destination which is in heaven with him. Okay?
