Does the Bible Say Jesus Saves ALL People? (1 Timothy 4:10)

1 Timothy 4 .10 says, To this end we toil and strive, because we have our hopes set on the living

God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. This verse has been twisted to mean that God saves everyone.

After all, it's right there. He is the Savior of all people. Everyone is saved. Everyone is going to heaven.

A view of salvation known as universalism. Another verse that gets twisted like this is 1 John 4 .14,

And we have seen and testified that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. But if Jesus saves every person and we all get to heaven, that would contradict other places

Paul and John talked about the wrath of God and hell. Even Jesus said the unrighteous will go away into eternal punishment, a place where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.

No one in the Bible talked about hell more than Jesus did. So what does it mean that Jesus is the Savior of all people?

This simply means there is only one Savior for anyone in the world. It's not like he's just a

Savior for people in North America, but there's a different Savior for South America, and then a different Savior for Europe or Africa or Asia or Australia or Antarctica.

There's a few people in Antarctica, right? There's only one Savior, Jesus Christ, and he is especially the

Savior of those who believe in him, because only those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus will be forgiven their sins and have eternal life with God.

Universalism is a lie from the pit of hell. The only way to be saved from an eternity in hell is to trust in Jesus, the one
