Opportunity we had to go to the hearing itself and to testify on behalf of the bill If you haven't seen that make sure you check out the feed here on Apologia Studios You'll be able to see somewhere in the last couple of weeks

We posted the the footage from being able to testify at the hearing in Denver So some of you guys may have heard of course they tried to kill it and killed it in the committee and so we are here for the rally and The rally is taking place

Saturday at 2 p .m. At the Capitol the rally is because We are putting the bill in Next opportunity we have put the bill in free protection.

We're sowing seeds. We're having a prophetic ministry We're preaching the gospel and the truth in this area and we want to hold all the representatives that killed the bill

It's really exciting to see where we are at now in this process we started just as a ministry that was equipping churches to go to abortion mills and now by God's grace, we're doing our best to equip them to go to their legislatures and really this is part and parcel to it

The task of the Christian Church to disciple the nation's to publish justice in the public square to Exhort Kings and rulers and those in authority to remember that there is a law above the king

There is a law above The law that they are answerable to and that they're accountable to and so hopefully

We can by way of encouragement to the church to local churches here local

Christians in Colorado Galvanize them into action when it comes to supporting godly and righteous legislation like this talking to their magistrates

Exhorting them to obey God and do the right thing Signing petitions showing up for these types of events, which is very very important like Jeff mentioned, but that's why we're here

Because these men and women are responsible to God. He's the one that's given them their office

He's the one that's installed they Draw all of their position and their authority from him

As given to them by their constituency, of course, but they are not renegade or rogue

Magistrates as they're acting right now. There's actually an objective standard That we as Christians would say applies to them to their obedience to their duty before God To actually restrain wallet punish those who do evil and That's what we want them to do.

We want them to do the right thing so hopefully we can be an encouragement to the church here to the brethren in a state like,

Colorado where It's a interesting fact. I don't know how many people realize this but even before Roe v.

Wade in 1973 Colorado was the first state in the nation to decriminalize abortion 1967 and so This is really ground zero in many ways even before Roe, right?

Which is shocking right I mean to think about and where we're at right now with the type of radical

Pro baby murder bills going in across the country We really have an incredible opportunity here to Strike a blow for freedom and to defend the fatherless with godly and righteous legislation because the divide couldn't be mean given you know the events of the

Supreme Court and them having that case before them right now and you have Seemingly all these states across the nation that are rushing to either protect baby murder or to criminalize it, right?

It's really incredible because it's unprecedented in the sense of you have all these abolition bills going in you have all these bills of equal protection that are fighting against the forces of darkness to Establish justice at the state level despite what the court from on high says

Which is really critical and all of this and that's what we hope to Help people understand is that we're not waiting on the courts.

We're not waiting on federal judges we are moving forward to Disciple the nation's and so that's really what we're doing here.

you're ready to hear and hopefully be Instructed and all of us can draw encouragement from one another to keep fighting here at the state level

You make a good point just the the issue of not waiting for the courts What was interesting is that the the hearing that we went to started about 1130 in the morning?

Well, at least that's when we got there about 1130. We didn't testify. So you see the video you'll see when we went up to testify we were the first to testify and We didn't testify till around midnight and what was interesting is that there were some typical pro -life regulatory things that went up before our bill and It was interesting to hear the the man who was challenging me last in our video

Through the other hearings. He was actually challenging people who were pro -life

About Roe versus Wade essentially being law and it's you know, we've got a constitution and the

Supreme Court has decided sort of a thing But when I went up and testified and I challenged that that the

Supreme Court does not have legislative power that Congress legislates in our nation Congress creates law not the

Supreme Court It was like he changed his tune He went he went from one direction of like we just got up a the

Supreme Court is the law of the land To he it was refuted. So he was he was changing his tune, but we were challenging

At that point in the hearing the Colorado under already understand never I mean the last time we stayed here.

I got a contact. I walked into the hallway of my hotel every day Not literally, but you know what

I'm saying? I mean, it was just like weed right the hallways couldn't go anywhere that weed weed is everywhere

You smell it everywhere in in Denver and all over Phoenix and I made a point that Colorado already understands the need to essentially

Uphold state sovereignty and for the benefit of your citizens from their understanding and to reject the opinion of federal courts or higher courts

Because their citizens and their citizens rights are more important. So Colorado already defies federal law and court cases both things court cases and opinions and Actual federal law regarding marijuana.

So we're in a state right now that understands perfectly State sovereignty and the need to protect protect their citizens

And so they already violate federal law and the courts on a daily basis here with marijuana

So everyone here who's smoking up can rejoice over that lesser magistrate doctrine but we're here essentially to to challenge this state and Well the unbelievers in this state that are pro -death and pro -baby murder

We're here to challenge them and to be prophetic to them and to preach the gospel to them and to call them to repentance But we're also here to encourage the church

That this needs to be a move of the church that is saturated in the gospel and the message of Christ It needs to be different than the typical pro -life methodology of the last

Quarter the last half a century where we say, you know, don't talk about Jesus. Don't use the Word of God. Don't use scripture

Don't use words like repentance and don't use the word murder those sorts of things We need to have the church actually be prophetic use the

Word of God make this about the gospel because in the end Yes, we want to establish justice for the pre -born without question that glorifies

God for the civil magistrate to establish justice for the pre -born However, we recognize that the only way ultimately to see transformation is not merely through the bill

But also through the transformation of human hearts and that only takes place Rebirth there needs to be a new birth in Colorado and all these states.

We want to say Thank you, because look what has happened as a result of your prayers your encouragement your faithfulness

It's it's just little steps of Faithfulness towards Christ that have led to these massive moments

So just in the last two years if you consider two years of labor Not just an abortion now, but with other

Christians across the country and and of course an abortion now has put in specific bills But we've been working together with Christians and churches across the country.

We've had Arizona, Texas Oklahoma, South Carolina Pennsylvania and this year we have already had

Colorado we already have going in next month. We're having a rally in Louisiana in Baton Rouge at the

Capitol on April 30th. We have a bill of equal protection That's abolition and criminalization happening in that state as well.

And so it's it's just an incredible thing to be a part of but here we are right now on the road We're heading to downtown

This Saturday and and and Zach you made a good point right now The lines couldn't be clearer

If you think about what's taken place over the last two years with all of these churches working together and abortion now

Getting bills put in an equal protection other churches working together to get bills put in you've got bills of criminalization and Abolition that is an end full stop.

It's human from conception equal protection for all humans That's what's been happening. So there's the line drawn by the

Christian Church that by the way, it's very specific It's the Christian Church that's drawing those drawing those lines.

It's not the pro -life establishment and pro -life industry It's the Christian Church that's doing that The line is drawn equal protection human homicide end it now

Look what's taking place across the country in Colorado in Maryland. We have some of the most radical some of the most radical pro -death infanticide bills

Imaginable and it just goes to show that this this this whole fight

From the Christian perspective needs to take place without compromise and why? Because they weren't compromising to begin with they want the whole way in Maryland right now.

They are Dealing with the proposal of a bill with a Democrat Led and dominated legislature that would essentially allow you to kill your child

Not merely in the womb, but let it die essentially of exposure after birth up to like Over three weeks and so just imagine so the point is and I said this in the hearing in Denver This isn't a biological question.

It's not a biological question It's a moral question because there's no question that what's in the womb from the moment of conception is fully

Human from conception you are The human being that you are today in the same way that you were at that moment of conception the entire

Library of your DNA your genetics your body your humanity was at that moment

You was spoken into existence at that moment, right? And it's it's a powerful thought because that can't be just where one

Christian Church was rescuing children in Rome where it was, you know a part of Roman culture just doing that in the modern world where you can give birth to a

Child and simply let it die of exposure. I mean, they don't care that you'll hear the baby crying

They don't care that you have to watch the child because it never was Biological it was always ethical and it's an ethic that is just rooted in sin and human depravity

It's an ethic that's opposed to Christ and it's just rebellion and you're seeing it The battle lines are drawn by the

Christian Church equal protection. No compromise God defines this This is murder.

And now you have of course the left responding to we're just gonna get what we want So encouragement to all pastors out there who have ever felt the need to compromise on this issue to save any lives

They're not willing to compromise Christ commands us not to compromise. You can't serve two masters

Don't do it and there is no neutrality with Christ. And so let's preach the word. Let's preach it faithfully

Amen, I think you said it very poignantly we're talking about a ethical moral question

Aka a religious question. This is a religious issue. It's a religious fight

We protect what we value and our values are in you have a religious commitment to Christ to his word to his lordship over every area of created existence the secularists and Neopaganists that are putting in these types of bills right now

They have a religious worldview that they're utterly committed to You know redistributive social justice the bill here in Colorado The radical pro -abortion bill is called the reproductive health equity act

And it talks about pregnant individuals Right not pregnant women Mind you because in this radical

Desire to level things out and create a fully egalitarian Superstructure where a man is somehow in his, you know

Fragmentation and alienation from nature needs to be reunited to his divinity and his true self these kinds of distinctions can't exist male female

Right, it can't happen. It can't take place in the new religion of the age And so you see it reflected in the law itself

The laws that they craft are a reflection of their very worldview And so on the other end of the spectrum our laws that we craft have to be indicative of our

Christian commitments and worldview because that's what it's about. It's about a clash of religions

Right, you hear the pro -life industry so often say this isn't a religious discussion It's not a religious issue.

You don't have to be religious to be against abortion. Well Those who are for abortion are certainly committed to their religious presuppositions.

Are we? That's the question right are we are we committed rigorously to what

God has to say on this issue when it comes to the protection of innocent life the Rescue of the fatherless and the needy and the afflicted and the duty of those who have been given their office by God who are called ministers of justice

Right, they're called God's servants to rule for him and anyone who rules must do so in the fear of the

Lord Is what the Word of God says and so be committed. Let's all be committed together to actually meaning what we believe and believing what we mean and saying what we believe and saying what we mean when it comes to this issue because we really have an opportunity here to Fight against the antithesis, right there is

Systematic unbelief confronting our position at every turn. It's everywhere Everywhere in our nation right now

So the only thing that can match that the only thing that can come into contact with that and have victory is systematic belief

It has to be a rigorous commitment to the Christ. Yes. Sure. That's right. So yeah, it's it's it's interesting

I want to leave everybody with this encouragement this final thought about what's happening right now, you know for so long the pro -life industry has

Tried to walk on eggshells and even even pretend neutrality concerning its own commitments like all

Human life is sacred Protect all human life. That doesn't that's not suspended in midair.

That doesn't come from secularism that comes from a Christian world Who says that right exactly so there it's it's it's a means of trying to hide the commitment and being really ashamed of your commitments

But they say well, we're not gonna we're not gonna be able to have victory if we're overt with our

Christian commitments We're not gonna be able to have victory if we use the Bible and we preach about Christ We're not gonna be able to have victory.

So we're just gonna take you know compromised slow Incremental steps and hopefully make our way and yes every day upwards of 3 ,000 babies are dying as we do that But we just can't be in that way.

Really? How about 50 years of Roe vs. Wade and only when the church

Starts actually saying not on my watch. It's Christ. It's good.

It's the gospel. It's all of God's law It's his word that we start getting bills of what? abolition

Criminalization and this immediately so I'm gonna say who's actually seeing the most success

Who's actually pushing this forward and it's the church and it's a church doing what not compromising.

It's the church preaching Christ It's the church preaching the law of God and pointing people to God's standards of righteousness and justice in society

That's what's actually taking place right now So where's the victory coming from from the church from what not compromising from what preaching

Christ and giving the law word of God? That's why this is happening Compromise didn't get us here.

It's the truth that got us here and look what's happening this year We have so many states so many states this year

They're gonna have bills of equal protection Criminalization and abolition. We're in one right now.

Yes, they fought against it But that's what prophetic witness looks like. It looks like calling to repentance.
