It's been a pretty boring news cycle. The former President of the United States just had his mugshot taken at Fulton County Jail after he turned himself in for arrest.

There was a Republican presidential debate. I didn't watch it, but I saw some highlights on X, formerly known as Twitter.

It kind of seems to me that lots of people are liking Vivek. Vivek? I think it's Vivek. He said that it rhymes with cake more and more.

And Ron DeSantis is having some trouble getting more support, it seems. What do you think about all these candidates at this debate?

While the debate was happening, Donald Trump had a conversation with Tucker Carlson that currently has over 248 million impressions.

That's actually all I know about the interview. I haven't watched it. Some people say it was interesting.

This interview was like right before Trump turned himself in for arrest in Georgia. Do you have any thoughts about this interview?

If you care about what I think about all this, here's my two cents. I think there's a ton of corruption and a ton of stupidity everywhere, and that tons of people need to repent of their sin and turn to Jesus Christ for salvation.

Our country is in big trouble, but everything will be okay because God is in control, even when everything is terrible.

Fight for what is true and right, but don't put your hope in any of these people. Here are two final, more encouraging stories.

This is an amazing picture I found that people were calling the rescuing hug. It was standard practice in American hospitals to put twins in separate incubators, but when one of these twins was in danger of dying, the nurse broke the standard procedure and put the stronger twin into the incubator of the weaker twin.

As soon as the incubator closed, the twins snuggled up against each other, the weaker twin's condition stabilized, and the stronger twin put her arm around the weaker twin.

Yeah, what I want to do is I want to show them that that's all based on presuppositions, right? The last thing that I want to do is get down on their level and say, okay, fine, let's just leave that aside.

No, I want to say to them, all of that is based on presuppositions. You're taking leaps of faith back there in order to get here and make that argument.

Your presuppositions have been tried before, and they've led to catastrophe. Mine is based on presuppositions as well, but my presuppositions has led to Western civilization.

I choose to believe the Bible because it's a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses.

They report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies, and they claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin.

So again, this is not just close your eyes and hope you feel something type stuff.
