Some say abortion laws can only be changed from the top down, while makers like Joseph Silk, however, still push for change from the bottom up.

So the holdup right now, you've got a couple issues. You have the pro -life industry who doesn't want it heard because they don't agree with, you know, it's kind of hard to say.

It's a bill that ends abortion and they don't agree with either that premise or the idea of doing it immediately.

They don't think the states have the authority to basically ignore Roe v.

Wade. There are pro -life politicians who

I truly believe want to end the suffering and the injustice against the pre -born, but they're getting their marching orders from pro -life organizations that allow them an easier way to deal with this issue.

You know, politicians have a different agenda than us, okay? Some of them just want attention, like wants their state to be viewed as the most pro -life state.

But politicians have many different reasons why they do things. We have one reason. Overturning Roe v.

Wade. We can't let their agenda decide our agenda. This is our agenda.

This is their agenda. We're not going to let them use our agenda for their purposes. So one of the things that the

Bill of Abolition does, it does separate the wheat from the chaff. Do you understand what

I mean? It begins to expose those who say they're pro -life only to get votes for their campaign and check it off.

This is too important. We need to make sure we build a willing court. How do we do that?

We re -elect President Trump, and we re -elect a majority in the Senate. That is it.

And we do not need the Supreme Court's permission to protect innocent children. So the pro -life industry is pushing back.

Some of the larger faith groups are kind of split, like the Southern Baptists here in Oklahoma, a large denomination.

Half of them, the pastors, are on board. They're here lobbying the legislature. But then you have the executive leadership who is saying, no, no, no, we don't need to do that.

So since it is a somewhat new idea, a lot of people are hesitant, including the legislature.

The Senate leadership is very hesitant of it. And so we're working with them saying, just give the bill a hearing so we can talk about it.

I can explain it. We can debate it and kind of see where it's going to go. So there's several different oppositions that we're being faced with and having to take care of.

That's our job. So we have to tell them, no. If the president had gone up during the

State of the Union speech and said sex trafficking is an abomination, everybody would say, praise God. Yes, it is.

He says, so therefore we're going to pass a bill in Congress that ends all sex trafficking for 11 and under.

Everybody would go, yeah, that doesn't make sense.

Well, I mean, you see this on the pro -abortion side. You see extreme consistency over there. This is not a life.

It's just tissue. It's just a polyp. So you could remove it. So there should be abortion on demand for everybody and just treat it like any other kind of health care.

That's consistency. On the pro -life side and pro -life lobby, you hear, you know, this is a life from the moment of fertilization, from the moment of conception, made in the holy image of God.

And what bills of abolition are, are just taking all the pro -life rhetoric and actually doing it.

Actually acting upon what they're saying. Instead of saying, this is a life, but we're not going to treat it like it's a life.
