Utah Senator Rejects Christian Calls to Repentance

Chris Arnold spoke with anti -abortion and pro -choice advocates, who let their voices be heard on this extremely emotional issue.

Thank you, and I really do respect the opinions that are coming. I'd ask as you continue, anybody, we're happy to hear from you, but for the suggestion that those around the dais need to repent, for example, be careful about that.

We can have those kinds of conversations out in the hall and such, but this is a formal proceeding. We want to hear what you have to say about the bill, but as to people's personal moral integrity, please keep those.

I mean, our integrity is challenged on a regular basis. We're not concerned about that, but that the devil is at the base of a bill or God is at the base of a bill or that people up here need to repent because you think so, be careful about those kinds of statements.

We're very grateful to have you here, but to impugn the integrity of some of these individuals is not appropriate.

Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, the eternal God in whom all of us owe his allegiance and glory.

Abortion is murder. The definition of murder is the premeditated taking of human life with malice of forethought.

The conversation today hangs the lives of babies in the balance. You as ministers of God, according to Romans 13, ought to hate what is evil and cling to what is good.

Murder of pre -born babies is evil. Protection of life in the womb is good. The truth is that babies in the womb are human beings created in the image of God, and they are the most discriminated people group on the planet.

Babies of all colors, from all nations, male or female, are slaughtered indiscriminately and wholesale, either chemically or surgically in their own mother's wombs.

Any law that legalizes abortion is legalizing murder. The only legislation that ought to exist is one against abortion, a law that does not allow for the murder of an innocent human being and instead punishes those who kill their own children.

Understand when you hear people speaking in favor of abortion today that regardless of the emotional obfuscation being used, what is being spoken of is the murder of the unborn, the taking of human life with malice and forethought.

Abortion is never safe. Someone always dies. Abortion is anti -family. Human beings are being killed. Do not fall for the lie of language and the obfuscation of the devil.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil. The blood of the Son of God was already shed for the sacrifice of sins.

The blood of our babies will never suffice, and the truth is that you guys stand in a position of power today, and if you do not stop the slaughter of the unborn, that is a sin against God, and it does call for repentance.
